It’s a whole vibe in that place! I had got food from here on multiple occasions and absolutely LOVED IT 10/10! However I had never been in side the place. I was taken away when I first walked in with all the beautiful and detailed art. This is a beautiful representation of a black culture. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Google
I've been here a few times before and every time, the vibe is so uplifting and positive. From the beautiful artwork that is displayed everywhere, to the delicious veggie burger, to the upbeat music; this is one of my favorite places to hang out in downtown Augusta. It's tucked away on a side Street and is a quick walk from some historical landmarks in Augusta!

I’ve been coming here for a year now & every time it’s always good. The energy is amazing here. The smoothies are awesome. I absolutely love this place.

Google
Went today for the first time & 10’s across the board! The place is BEAUTIFUL, the staff are all so kind and everything suggested to me by Trus was delicious! They even support local nonprofits! I’ll definitely be a regular. I had the green goddess juice- nice and sweet but not too sweet and the Philly cheese steak wrap-The wrap was really good no modifications necessary and I usually modify everything! lol. And I’m not vegan!

Google
We checked out this place for lunch and it was pretty good. The Cosmic Goddess juice was amazing though. I definitely recommend. ✨️

Google
If you’re in Augusta this is a must visit spot, hands down. The vibes are incredible. The art and decor are some of the most beautiful I’ve come across in a long while. The vegan Philly wrap is delicious and the red dragon tea is so dang refreshing.

Google
Beautiful local art and incredible music. It’s so nice to find a colorful, creative space that nourishes your body and soul.

Walked in and immediately felt like Home.. the atmosphere, ambiance, service and food were amazing.. The art and dim lighting was a bonus to the whole experience.. i had been saying to my husband for a year that I wanted to come here, so we did after an appointment.. as soon as he walked in, before making a purchase, his words were "This is my favorite place in the world ".. will definitely be back....this place has truly blessed us

Yelp
What I said four years ago still rings true, and will continue to ring true; once you enter this House, you're family. And that's because it true is a house, a refuge, a place where all are welcomed (not to mention well fed and juiced-is that a word?). Local artists are set up to your left, Brother B's art is hanging on the wall (as well as the wall itself is his work), and the bottled juice and tea is waiting in the cooler. But if you want a smoothie or vegan food item, a smoothie bowl or kale salad (the best you'll ever taste!) it's all waiting for you here. The cold pressed juices are local/regionally sourced as is everything else you see on the menu. And as they say on the labels and to-go boxes, it truly is made with love. This House also hosts art workshops, monthly open mics, and music events (though music washes over the space at all times). I deeply love the space, the team, and the owners here. And I look forward to their continued impact on the business and art community in the years to come. Also, you get 10% off your first order when you check in on Yelp. And you can place a order for take out or delivery via Yelp.

Yelp
An outlier in Augusta, this is a reggae-infused vegetarian restaurant with other products being sold and ample space to sit. I happened in on a takeout deal, and I got their core veggie burger and a smoothie with spirulina. My smoothie was probably healthy, but nothing radical in the taste department. Their interpretation of a veggie burger is a soft, grilled pattie with a good variety of fixins (getting jalapenos was wise) and options to get all sorts of bread or a salad. This is largely a lunch place, which is why it's tough for me to get in during business hours, but it is certainly a worthy stop for any vegetarians/vegans visiting the area.

Karen L.

Yelp
Was throughly impressed with this place, their theme is black culture, evident by various artwork and one that specifically said Afrofuturism. People of all cultures and for different purposes comfortably stopped by to either pick up a juice, or order one of their vegetarian dishes. Saw a couple of business people talking politics, and people like me that simply went in because I was craving a clean vegetable based meal and love to observe my surroundings. I would love to come back. And the food was so good, forgot to take a picture.

Kylie A.

Yelp
Came here for a post run snack because I just wanted something that was going to refuel and re-energize myself. I was greeted by friendly staff who helped me decide on the perfect, and most delicious smoothie. Everything smelled so amazing while I was waiting on my smoothie. I definitely will be coming back to try some of the other things on the menu ASAP.

Yelp
An amazing experience. I thought I'd be dropping in to a healthy spot for a quick bite. I was not expecting to be transported to a magical space full of delicious food, healing music, and majestic artwork. I ordered the spicy kale wrap and the soup of the day for my side. It was a delicious lentil, sweet potato, and kale soup...perfect for the rainy afternoon. Full of flavors and perfectly done veggies, it did not disappoint. And the wrap was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend the spicy version. I had a golden monkey black iced tea and grabbed a ginger lemonade to go. Make sure to spend time admiring the work of owner and artist Baruti Tucker. He spent time with me sharing the stories behind his art. Each piece was a lesson and tribute of pain, compassion, healing, and humanity. You have to see his work! Awesome treasure in downtown Augusta!

Yelp
Vegan heaven Was part of a LARGE group (18) who met here for lunch. EVERYONE loved their meal. It was great to go in and order and pay and then be seated. Music was on low so we could talk and hear each other without difficulty. Food came out quickly. Looking forward to visiting again!

Sujal M.

Yelp
I was in town for a job visit, and so my girlfriend and I went here for lunch. She's vegan, so we thought it would be a good way to see the downtown and get some lunch. It's definitely not a restaurant feel inside. Almost felt like a club/coffee house place. There's hand crafted jewelry for sale, local art, and a DJ playing music. My sandwich was decent, but the juice was great. I think the juices are the strength here. The owner of the place came by and asked how everything is and welcomed us to Humanitree. It's a cool spot, feels kind of out of sort with the country club feel that people normally associate with Augusta.

Bridget G.

Yelp
Super chill spot that's very inclusive. We stopped in several times during our stay in Augusta. Such friendly staff & good vibes, with delicious vegan food that everyone (including my very far from vegan mother) enjoyed. The kids had fun with games on the comfy couches, and the adults had some time to relax and enjoy conversation, the art in the space, and the tasty food. The kale salad might be the best I've ever had!! We will definitely be back each time we're in Augusta.

Jane D.

Yelp
This place has good food and good drinks, but a strange atmosphere. The owner told me something to the effect of, 'When you come in, you're a person, but when you leave, you're a human being.' Your restaurant didn't turn me into a human. I already was one.

Marguerite C.

Yelp
I love the soup! It has kale, sweet potato and quinoa, and who knows what else. It's flavorful and delicious! I also enjoy the coleslaw. Tacos are fantastic, but not a regular menu item.

KayLeigh L.

Yelp
Ventured here today for the first time since I moved to Augusta! The folks at the counter were friendly and helpful. As I waited for my wheatgrass shot I explored some of the vast art displays by the stage and was met with "a voice from above". I looked up and was greeted by Baruti! He was very friendly and welcoming. Super chill place and I can't express how impressive the art is! I'll be back frequently! Highly recommend. Wheat grass shot and Green Goddess juice were fresh and delicious :)

Teresa H.

Yelp
I absolutely love Humanitree House that is conveniently located in Downtown Augusta. Because it is close to where I work I order takeout or delivery about once a week. I love that I can get delicious healthy meals that are also affordable. The vegan birder, kale salad, and smoothies are amazing and my usual go to! Some day I want to try one of their teas.

Brandon B.

Yelp
This place is awesome! The staff is so friendly and the food... so tasty and healthy! Great mix of soul music to jam out to while enjoying your meal too! Oh, and funky cool artwork everywhere! Definitely stop by for some vegan food, a juice or a smoothie!

Georgia A.

Yelp
Fully vegan/plant-based restaurant! Delicious smoothies and juices. Love the kale salad!!

Deryck C.

Yelp
The food, the vibe, the decor, the clientele, everything is so right. Hands down, one of the best casual eateries or otherwise) I've visited anywhere.

Cara R.

Yelp
This is still One of my favorite places in Augusta to dine on vegan! Their menu selection is broad and their ingredients are fresh always. The service is definitely done with a smile. Although it is a walk up to the counter and order place it offers plenty of seating and a variety of options from comfortable chill spots to a quick counter dining.

CJ R.

Yelp
Phenomenal. We got the soup of the day, the spicy kale wrap, and the bacon cheeseburger. All were absolutely delicious. We went back and ordered another cheeseburger because we just needed to taste it again. We also got the reboot and sunshine juices, both very good, reboot was a little sweeter, sunshine wasn't sweet at all, very gingery, just a heads up. Will absolutely be back!

Liz H.

Yelp
Chill spot. I went in the afternoon and only one other person was there and he left. They had a lot of good smoothie choices. I got Jamaica Mon. The neighborhood seemed a little rough. There was a cop car on the corner and a shady looking young woman walking around the corner. The staff of the cafe were very nice. Smoothie was delicious.

Shannon X.

Yelp
My friends and I dropped by on a whim after doing the downtown mystery game. I enjoyed the vibes and how clean this place was. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a place to study or just enjoy some vegan food. I got the Matcha Maddness smoothie and it tasted pretty good. I hope to come back another day to try their other smoothies and food items.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Excellent customer service. Great healthy food. Great menu selections. Cool and inviting atmosphere. Nice Art.

Spencer V.

Yelp
What a amazing place in Downtown Augusta just to relax and chill. The atmosphere here is chill and peaceful and with enjoyable music while your there. It's not everyday that you find a great place like this one but definitely encourage you to try Humanitree House if you've haven't.

Trinity B.

Yelp
The restaurant is very different from any I've ever been to. Reggae playing kind of loudly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The prices of food weren't listed anywhere. Nevertheless, the food was great and the smoothie was nice.I had a vegan sausage wrap and a smoothie and it was $17. Food is good

Wren W.

Yelp
Love, Love, love this place! Can never go wrong! My favs are the Beet Burger (delish-AND I can't taste, nor do I like beets), the Kale Salad, chickpea soup, with a chocolate goddess smoothie (Strawberry, cacao & almond butter)! Last thing to mention is the staff is so knowledgeable on everything and ready to help you place your order! Great experience!

Teresa B.

Yelp
My all time favorite spot. Always good food, good energy, good people. The chipotle burger is my favorite and the kale salad is so delicious.

Christina S.

Yelp
A nice place to eat, study, chill! I got a smoothie and it was everything I want a smoothie to be. Sightly icy, quite thick, nice flavor balance. I'm so excited to go back and try their other smoothies! Staff was super warm and nice! Definitely made me feel welcome The interior is amazing. The art on the walls? Wowza. It definitely knows how to work its vibe. The seating is very comfy as well. I would want to come study here if the chance arises.

C M.

Yelp
The thing I never understood was Closing so early! They close at lunch or before dinner so you got to get stuff while at work and order and be close by

James D.

Yelp
Today was one of the best events I've been to being held here. A young up and coming photographer Haliegh Key put together a great show this day. Including multiple local artists and catered by April Humanitrees very own artist in the kitchen. Best Vegan restaurant in Augusta hands down, don't miss out on the raw fresh ingredients in there juices and on there menu.

Sally W.

Yelp
Great vibe peaceful and the art work is the bomb! We have the kale wrap and it was good the spicy one was really good

Lauren R.

Yelp
Their Spicy Kale Wrap is off the chain! When I called in my order, I was told that their most popular sandwiches were the Chicken Un-philly and the Burger. But I didn't have a taste for a meat substitute so I ordered a Spicy Kale Wrap and added avocado. When I first bite into this wrap, I was blown away! The dressing on the kale is MAGICAL and the addition of peppers, red onions, and carrots was perfect. Also, its SPICY but spicy is good. You have to be able to handle a lot of spice to order the "Spicy Kale." But the menu says you can order is not spicy/mild. The price (over $9) was a little higher than I expected for a wrap with no meat and no meat substitute. But they did add a nice portion avocado which was an additional cost. Anyways, the wrap was so good that I almost turned the car around and ordered another one for tomorrow.. but I exercised self-restraint. This was definitely the best wrap I've ever had. And I eat meat.. so this is not just a restaurant for vegetarians, but rather a restaurant for all ppl who enjoy fresh feel-good food. Needless to say I am definitely looking forward to going back to Humanitree.

Ashley S.

Yelp
I really wanted an açaí bowl and they were out of granola. That made me sad. But I did get the chocolate goddess smoothie, 2 cold pressed juices, and a kale salad to go. So far, so good! I hope next time to be enjoying an açaí bowl. The staff was super friendly and the place had a really cozy and trendy vibe. Love the giant bean bags and the groovy flute music. One thing I wish they would do is have the decomposable straws. For a place that seems very "earthly" I'd like to see them be more earth friendly.

Noah G.

Yelp
Great energy. Food is good to be vegan. Smoothies are HEALTHY. I really like the set up. Almost like a poetry lounge.

Rotel G.

Yelp
Great place! Great food, fresh sandwiches. Amazing juices and teas. Highly recommended. Great vibe inside the place

Sandra Y.

Yelp
Upon first walking in, I loved the vibe I got. It's a funky relaxed atmosphere with awesome artwork on the walls done by the owner, who apparently uses only his fingers to paint??? There was also some fun music playing-- some oldies with a house music type twist to it. April, one of the staff members, approached me immediately because she could probably tell that I had never been before as I was staring mouth slightly agape at the menu with a blank expression, wondering what I should order. I only intended to get a salad and smoothie, but she sold me on the wraps! I ordered the MOFO, spicy, for my wrap with a side of kale salad. For my smoothie, I opted for the Warrior. Wrap and salad were tasty-- I kind of wish I ordered the salad and added the "meat" from my wrap on top. It was a good combination, which I happened to try because I'm a messy eater and the meat from my wrap kept falling into my salad. By the way, my wrap was not spicy at all, so I'm wondering what the mild version tastes like...? My smoothie was good, but a bit too sweet for my liking. I was told that they don't add sweetener to that particular one, so I'm guessing it may just have been the strong banana presence? Idk lol. Also, I was pretty disappointed as it was a hot summer day and my smoothie tasted really warm. Like lukewarm. I asked for ice and tried to add that in there but it wasn't blended in and still tasted kinda warm. Womp womp. As a last ditch effort, I asked if they would blend some ice into my drink for me and the gentleman making the smoothies obliged kindly with a smile. I think I love the people in Augusta. So friendly! Blending the ice in improved the sweetness level and taste by 100% (in my opinion)! Overall, it was probably a 3 for food, but service and atmosphere had me give it an extra star. Not typical for me, as food is EVERYTHING, but April was too sweet and the gentleman SMILED when I asked him to do something extra. If I'm ever back in Augusta, I'd come back

Monique' M.

Yelp
What a wonderful place! The staff is helpful and sweet. The ambience is cool, funky and inviting. And the food and drinks are awesome. As other Yelpers have stated the drinks are freshly made to order and the food is fresh as well. I ordered (to-go) the spicy kale wrap & spicy mofo with a side of kale salad and fire shot to drink. Wowzers! Although neither spicy item was nearly as spicy as the drink, they were all super tasty and generous portion sizes were given. I will definitely be back numerous times while I am working in the area. There are more menu items and pieces of art that I want to check out. Oh btw they had a DJ playing some tunes the late afternoon that I came in. Such an awesome experience-making place to spend your time, fill your belly and enlighten your soul.

Claire D.

Yelp
Ordered from Augusta to Go, received the dragon fruit açaí bowl and a smoothie. All so good and it arrived perfect! Can't wait to order again!!

Penny R.

Yelp
We discovered this place with a UYE after yoga. Walking in takes a minute to focus...it is full of visual and audio stimulations, all good! Colors, artwork are everywhere. From floor to ceiling. Walking around you can not appreciate it all on one visit. Make sure you see the bar made of pennies. Randomly choose off the menu...so many healthy options... smoothly was loaded with flavor and the mushroom wrap was dripping with mouthwatering tastes!! After reading about the benefit of fresh sugar cane syrup we bought some. To our surprise he brought out cane and juiced it in front of us!! Easy to find parking and the employees enjoy working there!!

Nicole B.

Yelp
I had a veggie burger and smoothie. It was amazing! The smoothie tasted soo good but I didn't get to try much of it lol

Noah L.

Yelp
Cole slaw serving was bigger than the vegan burger, but both were very good. Georgia peach smoothie was a nice consistency and had a clean peach flavor. Vegan burger definitely worth recognition especially for how much like a normal burger it looks

Gloria C.

Yelp
Tasty kale salad, delicious purple gorilla smoothie Even if you're not vegan, this place is pretty sweet! The cashier guy was friendly and helpful. The vibe inside was down to earth too! Will definitely be back.

MeekMommy J.

Yelp
The vegan bacon cheeseburger was so yummy. My boys both loved the Green Hulk kids smoothies. It was nice to be able to stop in for a healthy treat while on the road. The DJ was a nice touch!

Tori E.

Yelp
Much better experience this time! I wish my first experience was this! Came here for my coworkers going away lunch. It was busy with other folks grabbing lunch as well. I love the vibe of this place and their playlist was on point! Customer service was good and the staff was friendly as usual. I ordered the gorilla smoothie and the avocado sandwich but in a wrap (recommended by cashier). I added bacon and cheese to it. My girlfriend order the mofo sandwich and the Jamaica mon smoothie. I liked her smoothie over mine b/c of the tropical flavors of coconut and pineapple. The gorilla smoothie was ok but I prob wouldn't ordered it again. The mofo sandwich and the avocado sandwich were both delicious! I recommend both of them! Will def be back to get the açaí bowl

Shanette B.

Yelp
Came yesterday...and here I am again back a day later! Vegan and vegetarian food has never been on the top of my to eat list, but my kale salad from yesterday got my tastebuds wanting more, plus I forgot to take a picture of it lol. The staff is amazing and understanding to the reality that not everyone has eaten vegan or vegetarian before, or even know what healthy ingredients are. Myself being one of those customers, the young man took the time to order me something delicious and tasty...the kale salad add protein on top! I also purchased the Green Goddess drink and the Fresh Kale Chips! My tastebuds were not disappointed with any part of my order, thus my reasoning for being back today! This time photos if my meal will follow, I ordered the kale salad with protein as a wrap with avocado and of course grabbed my Goddess smoothie with a side of a passionfruit bowl!

Sophie K.

Yelp
I wandered in to the Humanitree House because I was visiting Augusta with my boyfriend and we wanted to walk along the river with some smoothies. I completely understand why people rave about this place. SMOOTHIES: Delicious. There's a variety of options and they're all vegan. I had the Bee Alive ($7.50?) which had raw sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cacao, strawberries, blueberries & bee pollen. Yum. Bae got the Subliminator ($7?) which was apple, banana, blueberry, cherry flax, vegan protein, spirulina, pb, coconut oil. His was heavy on the peanut butter but still tasty. AMBIANCE: So freaking cool. The walls are covered with art from local artists for sale, which are largely of black and African American subjects. The art is fantastic and I really enjoyed walking around and looking at all of it. OVERALL: If I lived in Augusta, I would be here all the time for some delicious vegan food and awesome art.

Ree T.

Yelp
This was a really wonderful casual dining experience. The atmosphere was really warm and inviting. It had a great ambiance. The art on the wall made me feel like it was home. The food was really good as well. The vegan soup and wrap were well portioned and satisfying. The green smoothie was also amazing. All in all I was extremely satisfied.

Crystal M.

Yelp
When looking for an Acia Bowl Humanitree House is the spot! The atmosphere is Afro-centric and earthy with music playing that could have volume turned down just a little. Service is always great! Must visit when visiting Augusta or just looking for something good to eat.

Austin S.

Yelp
Great experience every time I visit. Everyone is welcoming and the vibes are great soon as you walk in. Keep up the good work and keep teaching everyone about healthy living!

Jessie Y.

Yelp
Finally got the food this time. Their vegan burger is surprisingly delicious given that it's made with beets, rice, and beans and I chose for mine to come with the onion bun. Customer service was super friendly as well, and I always enjoy the atmosphere here. I do still prefer their pitaya/ acai bowls over the food though.

Michael D.

Yelp
Love the staff here, they are always right on time with a lunch suggestion and they never disappoint. #SupportLocal

Keila K.

Yelp
A friend of mine, who's an Augusta native was showing me around town when both of us started to work up a mean appetite. I was in the mood for something light and fresh so she recommended we come here. This place is an art lover's dream. Every part of the restaurant is painted with murals and one of a kind pieces made by the owner. The menu is Vegan focused ranging from wraps to salads and juices ( some of which are already prepared). We had a hard time deciding what we wanted to order so the cashier helped us choose the best meals. I got the Vegan Burger with The Warrior. The smoothie was a little too powdery for me. The Burger was really good; very filling. I'd be open to exploring other menu items, both food and their juices as opposed to the smoothies.
