Humble Grape Canary Wharf - Wine Bar & Restaurant

We had a great experience at this Humble Grape branch, from the moment we turned up our server Ana was wonderful; warm and knowledgeable and so friendly. We opted to order a bunch of small plates of which the cheese croquettes and lamb merguez sausages were the standout. The cheese souffle was also full of parmesan flavour. The harissa chicken and lamb ribs were nice and smoky and tender. Most of the dishes were nice however the sauce for the meatballs was a bit disappointing it just tasted like undercooked curry powder mixed with water and was very watery on the plate, and it would have been nice to have the butter with the sourdough more whipped as it said it was on the menu rather than a solid block, and the coleslaw could have been seasoned more as well. However, we are looking forward to coming back and trying some of the main course dishes, the wine/cocktail menu and the dessert menu as they sounded great and the service was so fantastic.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and our waitress Giulia was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the meal. Her warm attitude made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and everything arrived promptly. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

This evening we visited to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a lovely experience. We booked in advance and they kindly allowed us to bring our own cake with no fee. When we arrived the place was quiet, but it soon filled up with a lively yet comfortable vibe. The staff were amazing—attentive, thoughtful, and full of little touches that made the night special. They brought a bucket of water for my flowers and even surprised me with a complimentary glass of champagne. We started with a crisp white Riesling and a cheese and charcuterie board, both excellent. I especially appreciated being able to taste wines before choosing—when I didn’t enjoy the first rosé, they happily switched it for another, which was perfect. When the time came for the cake, they even had the chef cut and serve it on plates. From start to finish, the service and atmosphere were outstanding. A truly memorable experience and the perfect spot for a celebration. Highly recommend!

From the moment my family member and I walked through the door, the service at Humble Grape was exceptional. The gentleman who welcomed us in was attentive and friendly, and he kindly informed the chef about my dietary requirements. Despite the Sunday menu being mostly unsuitable for gluten-free diets, the chef went out of his way to prepare a special Sunday dish for me — something I truly appreciated. The meal itself was outstanding. Every flavour was beautifully balanced, and the dish was hearty and satisfying. I genuinely couldn’t put my fork down! The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. For a first visit, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Service was an easy 10/10, and I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend Humble Grape to anyone looking for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a peaceful dining environment.

Naz was amazing. So welcoming and friendly with a smile. The cheese croquettes- amazing. The paella so good. Don't forget to ask for lemon. Nice restaurants, nice atmosphere. Good service.

Terribly disappointing Sunday roast. For £22.5 each we got the roast sirloin and the roast leg of lamb roast. 2 incredibly thin slices of meat for each dish which left us so hungry. The meat itself was utterly tasteless and texture was like it had been boiled. Roast potatoes were also dry, crumbly and tasteless. Mac cauliflower needed seasoning. Service however was friendly and welcoming. However will not be back as the food was a total let down :(
