We had a fantastic rehearsal dinner at Hummus & More. The service was incredible and the food was fresh, hot & delicious! The owners were very accommodating of family members with dietary restrictions and everyone had a wonderful time. We love going to Hummus & More for a casual lunch or dinner and were thrilled to celebrate our son's rehearsal dinner! The owners and staff truly made us feel like family!

From the appetizers to the delicious baklava dessert, the food, service, and ambiance at Hummus & More was excellent and plentiful. We were seated right away, and the service was quick, efficient, and courteous. We truly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely return many more times.

AMAZING.. 10 stars 🫶🏽🤩 The service was fast — not just that, the server on staff was incredibly kind. Quiet day. Footbal on tv. I had a to go order, about 8 meals for my work crew. It was ready within 10-20 minutes total. I got the veggie, and the crew got the chicken shawarma with hummus. Every single last crew member could not say enough how great lunch was. I was so happy with this choice. Thank you so much!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Had the gyro wrap, hummus and more, and babaganoush. Came out promptly and tasted amazing. Would definitely return.

I visited here for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised! I started off with the hummus and more. It was really delicious. I could not stop eating it! I loved the whole roasted garlic cloves!! Yum! Then I got the beef shawarma. There was so much flavor and the beef was nice and tender. I also had the falafel and sautéed veggies as my two sides. It was really delicious! There was a lot so I had to take the rest home and it was just as good the next day! The service was okay and the music didn't match the atmosphere but that won't stop me from visiting there again. It was really good!!

My wife discovered Hummus & More when her office relocated around the corner and between the two of us, we've sampled about 80% of the menu, tip of the hat for the Cheese Eggrolls as an appetizer. Our food has always been quickly delivered to our table and always with a smile. One thing I appreciate is that I never have to ask about my drink being refilled. It is tucked away in the back corner of a strip mall but don't let that concern you, it's is quiet and quaint inside good for family gatherings or a date night. Such a hidden gem in Metairie.

I've seen this place so many times and I was in the area so I ordered to go. I called and got the hummus and more which was loaded hummus. I was so disappointed! The hummus lacked flavor, olives tasted old (they were sliced so I assumed canned) and the pita was cold and hard. $12 for an app was steep for the quality.

For 3 years I've been looking for an amazing Mediterranean restaurant with good gyro meat. This is the place. Phenomenally tasting, personable staff and great service. It is now my go-to local spot. Thank you!

This restaurant is really cute and super clean. Absolutely love the cheese egg rolls and the sweet sauce was the perfect complement. The hummus is pretty good, but the pita is simply ok. I love the texture and taste of the falafels. Perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The lentil stew is my absolute favorite. This place does the best mujadara I've had in years. In addition to a clean restaurant and restrooms, the service is always great. My family and I have never had the same server, yet service was consistently great.

If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, IMMEDIATELY COME TO HUMMUS AND MORE. The service was quick and helpful to my husband especially who could only eat specific items. Everything came out quickly, fresh and OMG so DELICIOUS, homemade, AMAZING, well seasoned I could go on and on...but just go try them ASAP. You won't regret it. Oh and the pricing was good too! Everything you see in this picture plus 1 drink was around $40 Can't wait to go back

Trying a new place. Good news first: free parking, friendly service, decent hummus. I got take out but the place was small and clean with a few older families dining. Now I ordered the gyro salad. Choice of salads: Cesar, Green or Pine Nuts. I had pine nuts but it was basically romaine like a faux cesar--nuts instead of cheese and watery, not cesar dressing. The gyro meet was leathery and dry but the cucumber dip was good. They forgot the pita. I tried the white chocolate bread pudding upon the counter girl's enthusiastic recommendation--also average. Not super cheap a 2.5 stars experience for sure.

They are tucked away in a tiny strip mall off of Severn. They share a very small parking lot with Sweet Handcraft and 3 other places, so parking is limited. We came at an off time on Saturday for a late lunch. We managed to get a parking spot, but it was tight. We had a group of 3 in our party and were told to pick wherever we would like to sit. They have 2 large rooms. I'm not sure what was in the other room, but our room had a large TV in the corner that was showing the news. Service was friendly and attentive. My boyfriend and I ordered combination plates and our friend ordered a Salmon Filet plate. The waitress asked if I'd like Feta Cheese on my Fattoush Salad. I figured it came with it and she was just confirming that I wanted it, as she did with the others in my party. I said sure. I didn't know until we got the bill later that they charge you an extra 0.75 to have that. I thought that was kind of rude that the waitress did not mention it was an upcharge. Our friend's Salmon was excellent. My Kafta Kebabs were ok, but I did not care for the Beef ones at all. They were too chewy and under-cooked. My boyfriend got the Fish Kebab and Beef Kebab. The Fish was Mahi Mahi. It was very good. I would order that for sure. If I went back, I would ask them to put my salad and Hummus on separate plates. I did not like how they loaded the Hummus, salad and kebabs all onto one plate. It was like a big glob of mish mash that I had to pick through. The prices are on the higher side. My boyfriend and I paid separately from our friend, and just for our 2 combination plates we paid $60.00. Mind you, that was strictly the 2 combination lunch plates, tax and tip. We ordered tap water and no appetizers.

Please, do not stop and think some off the wall Mediterranean or other type of food. Yeah, there are some special dishes here but I will stand on my soap box and tell you that the lamb kabob is absolutely incredible! My wife and I get our haircut down the street and Milan (wonderful place) and then come here for dinner every five weeks like clockwork. The chicken shawarma is one of the most delicious meals I have ever had, but the lamb is cooked perfectly. Every visit the food had been consistently good and you do not find consistency in too many restaurants these days. Personally, I have it with the mixed green salad and could probably eat here 3 or 4 days a week if I was closer. Do not think, do not wonder, give this place a try, have one of these two dishes and I think you will find a new restaurant!!

I love hummus & more! Food always comes out fast and hot and super delicious. Customer service is always on point as well. I love their hummus & baba ganoush. The lamb kebabs are so good. It's not gamey, so try it! It's kid friendly with pasta & French fry options. The portions are big enough to share. But we always get more than one dish so we can try different things.

I could eat here every day!! They have the best chicken shawarma- wrap or plate. The Baba Ghanoush is my favorite of all time, perfectly smoky tasting without being overbearing. This was a great experience and a beautiful little restaurant. The food here was amazing!! We had the Moussaka, falafel wrap, the house pasta, and bread pudding, and all of it was incredible. Best mediterranean food we have ever had. The staff was also very nice and recommended some great picks!

This little small spot off of Servern in Metairie packs big taste! Ive been looking for a solid Mediterranean place to become my go to for kabobs and hummus and I think I found it! The service here is very quick and the food is so good. You can tell the cook has authentic recipes and knows what he or she is doing! This is must if you're looking for any classic dishes like Kabobs, gyro, or hummus. If you go you have to get the cheese egg rolls that come with and jam packed pepper jelly! I'm getting hungry just typing about this place!

Ordered takeout and wow I was stunned. I ordered the chicken kabobs with hummus and a cheese egg roll with their fig jam sauce. I have never tasted any Mediterranean food like this before. The kabobs were perfectly tender, not too charred, and flavored amazing. The fig jam sauce came in clutch when I made a little sandwich out of the pita, veggies, chicken, and hummus. It was a combination I never expected to make, but I want to go back so bad! The cheese egg roll had feta and other cheeses in it, and it wasn't as crispy because I had it a little bit after I picked it up, but this is definitely something I will get again.

In a strip mall off Severn this full service middle eastern restaurant offers a lovely sit down dining experience. The food is wonderful. Spanakopita was stuffed and flakey. The lamb kabobs were cooked to perfection. The labneh and hummus were delicious. The generous portions left no room to sample the desert menu but judging from the quality of the food, I probably missed out on some lovely meal ending sweets.

The special fish entree was recommended by Mark (I believe that was the server's name!) It tasted so good! One table of 4 also dining... that was it. The owner came out of the kitchen and welcomed them and said dessert was on the house. Not that I would have accepted the offer, but it would have been nice to receive same treatment.

Full disclosure - I have been to Hummus and more multiple times and that alone should tell you how much I enjoy this place! I have tried other beef shawarmas around the area and this place by far has the best! The meat is seasoned with some crazy blend that is an explosion of flavor!! I can't comment too much on the gyro - I'm not a huge gyro fan. The hummus is good - very smooth with a hint of garlic (to me). The Greek salad is my 2nd favorite off the menu. The dressing is nice and tangy and full of flavor. Pre-COVID I would dine in and the staff was amazing! Post-COVID, I saw almost all staff wearing masks. I did spot someone in the kitchen without one. I would rate the food at a 5 but seeing a staff member without a mask costs a star.

I was in Metairie, when a craving for shawarma hit, so I stopped in here for lunch. First of all, be aware that the parking lot is a tight fit and construction in the area is a mess. I was seated right away and decided to start off with the "Hummus and more" hummus, which came loaded with garlic, and all kinds of other goodies. It was fantastic! My entree was beef shawarma with more hummus and rice. The meat was tender and the food was good. My one complaint is service was slow, even though there was really no one there. Not a big deal, but this might not be the best place to visit, if you're in a rush.

I love Lebanese food. I've tried several other restaurants and I always end up at Huda's because of price and quality. Falafel crisp but moist on the inside, stuffed grape leaves moist and the best lebnah. Service is ok but it's this young generation....

Enj These days, there are many Greek- Mediterranean-Middle-eastern food spots all over. Well, this spot is the real thing. That is right. I grew-up eating this food and it all start with, how is the hummus? And just like the name this place is authentic. The food is right down delicious. The meats are cooked to perfection. The hummus is amazing The Gyro is quite delicious. All is great. On another trip we also tried the Holummi fried cheese and it is amazing. They serve it with slices of tomatoes. My top three favorite "Mediterranean" restaurants at the moment include Hummus & More. The food is so eclectic and the selection is huge. They really let you map out your own dish with a vast selection of side dishes. You can go healthy or decadent and still have a stellar meal. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I had the vegetarian plate-a sampling of four dishes including salad, lentils, and eggplant. However, one star deducted for below average service. The waiter's head wasn't in the game. I will return, though, which is a testament to the food.

First time I ate there, the gyro and hummus were delicious. I requested that my gyro to be prepared on pita as I don't particularly like wraps. The waitress (Mabel) placed my order and the cook honored my request. Mabel checked on me several times and asked if everything was fine and did I have any other requests. I appreciated that she checked my table as many servers ( not all) place the food on the table and return only to deliver the check. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean, my waitress was very professional, attentive and polite. Upon leaving I spoke to two people who came out of the kitchen, a lady and a gentleman. I told them how delicious the food was and about the great waitress was who waited on me. Asking questions about the preparations of other dishes on the menu, helpful information was given. I'm impressed with my experience of dining there. I eat out often and I have been told I am a very good cook. The food was well prepared, served warm and exceptionally delicious.

The restaurant is located right off of Severn Ave., around the corner from the Lakeside mall. It is a small, quant little place that feels very homely. It is a great place for a small get together. The place's tables were nicely spaced out so you felt far enough apart from other diners for Covid-19 to not be an issue. I am not a big fan of Greek food but it was delicious. The lamb had the perfect char to it and the hummus tasted superb. Their menu had many options to choose from and it was nice and easily labeled so experimenting was easy. The chef cook the food for me very well so I assume you would get something similar since I went during the lunch rush. The decorations were nice upon the eyes and it had a very comfortable setting. The location of the restaurant felt hidden but it had plenty of parking and it was next to an ice cream / yogurt shop. I would highly recommend it. Even during the lunch rush, the waitress was very helpful and she was there when needed. The place is not to big and not to small so you can pretty much see your waiter / waitress at any given time. Just got in town to visit family and they took us here! Not only was the food incredible, the staff was amazing. They were very personable and even came out to chat with us. We also tried Ashta for the first time and WE LOVED IT!!! What a great family owned business that actually cares about their customers' dining experience. We already decided hit them up again before we go back home!

Have heard great reviews of this place. My Bestie & I had to try. They didn't disappoint. Lamb was cooked perfectly. Ordered medium. Delicious. Hummus delicious, The garlic cloves were amazing! (I never eat the whole clove) Hummus, I buy in grocery will never be the same! Pita bread soft & hot. Only complaint I have is the service. Short staffed. On way out i saw now hiring sign. So i understand. Food made up for slow service. I'm sure on next visit they will be fully staffed. Bestie, loved her veggie plate too! We are both food Critics.

This is the best Mediterranean in the city! If I'm getting food; this is my go to! It's fresh, local, tasty! The staff is wonderful as well! I highly recommend!

It's not a very exciting name for a restaurant, but what it lacks in creativity it makes up for in quality. This location is one of those suburban strip malls that doesn't look like much (a second one recently opened Uptown). Inside it is quite pleasant and a large space, and is a full service restaurant with a quiet, adult vibe. It wasn't my first choice for dining on the night I stopped in, but I was quite happy with what I ordered. The hummus is legit, as it ought to be. However, the veggie platter I got was full of exciting choices, from an indulgent cheese eggroll with dipping sauce to lentils that tasted pleasantly of charred garlic. As a vegetarian, I could easily come back and order something completely different, which I always appreciate. I might be more inclined to try the second location than come back to this one, but regardless, the place seems to be doing well for itself.

I will not be back here at all, I ordered a beef wrap and got hair in my food. Just plain nasty. Called the store and they acted as tho it's nothing new. As if it's a part of the menu!!! HAIRNETS PEOPLE!!! But a damn hairnet on

I was really excited to take my kids here because we love Mediterranean food and have yet to find a nice place to be able to sit down and eat it. The food was very authentic this is why I gave this establishment 1 star. My waitress never introduced herself so I can not say exactly who she was though there were only 2. She just came over to drop off drinks and take our order. I was thinking she just had bad service until I heard her go to the next table. She read off specials for them gave them plenty of information and time to decide what they wanted. She went to every other table at least 4 times to our 1 visit and when I said excuse me to get her attention she walked right past us. They had little gnats flying all over our table I was really embarrassed to have picked this place to take my kids. Definitely will not be a place we return to.

Hands down the best Mediterranean food we've had. I'm from cali and I am pretty bummed I won't get to come back any time soon. Must try !!!!

I really enjoy this place! The service is excellent and the food is wonderful. We were a trio of peeps on this visit, looking for some hummus (and more), and we found it in spades! This is my third visit to H&M and everything has been fantastic to date. Gyros, lamb, schwarma, baba ghanoush, even the Lebanese tea makes me smile like a redneck drinking a beer(no offense to rednecks, I love 'em). You truly can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu. Well, unless you are a vegan and you order the lamb. You know what? It's so good, you STILL might like it. Whatever your preferences, give this little hidden gem a try. If you're not happy with the food, I'll eat this review.

This spot surprised me. From the name and the sign I thought it was a kind of hole-in-the-wall, but it actually was an elegant sit-down restaurant. The staff was really covid-safe and helpful and the food was delicious. Things are more expensive than other similar restaurants like Lebanon Cafe in Uptown, but the privacy and the flavors I think make it worth it. Give the halloumi cheese a try!

Just got lucky to eat at this place. This place is tucked away in a very quite corner of a plaza .The place is spacious and lot of seating. Arrived for late lunch almost linner you can say. The hostess was very gracious and hospitable. We ordered a decent meal of lentil soup salad the appetizers were a bomb specially the fried cauliflower and cheese egg rolls were yummy .The kids meal too was good.Our food came out fresh. One should definitely try iced Lebanese tea . The restrooms are clean and looks like they are under renovation.This place is something you won't think twice before going back again.

On way from New Orleans Airport we were looking for Mediterranean food. This one was not too far it's somewhat hidden behind the mall area all the way at the last corner. Looks shabby from outside but well inviting and sleek ambience inside. We were greeted after some time. But very polite and helpful service. Got help with food selection, cauliflower fried with dip and egg rolls veg, pine nut salad, lentil soup and combo chicken and beef kofta Kabab were excellent, fresh and perfectly cooked. Price was reasonable. Deserts looked good but we had no room for them this time. Definitely a return visit worth!

I have been wanting to try this place forever. I was next-door, so I stopped and picked up a hummus to go and then they gave me cold pita bread. $13 and they couldn't even warm up the pita bread. Very disappointing.

Love this place. Good food, nice family that owns and operates it. My wifey comes for the crab cakes, I get the half and half. They have the creamiest hummus. Well done Zaid!!

Three words... "Rack of lamb" cooked medium rare! We have a new favorite place in Metairie. Order the hummus and more appetizer to start. They have Lebonese tea without the sugar... Excellent. And their vegetarian platter is also very well-prepared and delicious.
