"This California-based chain obsessed with its namesake dish is planning a Texas expansion, with two locations reportedly in Houston (Space City) in addition to planned outposts in Austin and Dallas; exact addresses and an opening timeline have not been announced. Hummus is the focal point, offered in four varieties — including versions spiked with spicy harissa or Kalamata olives — and serves as the base for build-your-own bowls and wraps. Hummus Republic was a great experience! The bowl was a bit too deep, so everything mixed together like a soup, but still very tasty. The place was super clean, and the flavors were fresh. Highly recommend trying the jalapeño lemonade – unique and delicious!

I’ve been here 3 times and I will say the food is pretty good. Very generous portions and the best Sweet Potato fries I’ve ever had. I only have two complaints: the customer service and the smell when you walk in. I typically come in around lunch time (12:30-1:00) and the workers are always stand offish, mute, and sometimes seem confused. Lastly there is a strong odor when you walk in kinda like a sewer blockage or build up. It’s off putting so I often take it to go.

Public Health: 0/10 there was an employee who was coughing multiple times and did not have a mask on nor did he care to wash his hands before returning to prep the food. That really turned me off because I’ve only came 2x and had great tasting food. employees should know that is unacceptable and gross! Bring back hair nets, face mask, gloves and aprons! Especially when prepping and serving food. FOOD 10/10

Ordered the pita chips with 5 different hummus and the pita (made to order) was so flavorful, warm and just enough crisp to dip in their delicious hummus. Staff is inviting and establishment is very aesthetically clean.

One of the best Mediterranean style restaurants I've been to. I got a bowl, its a big portion and they give you so many options to fill it. I had white rice, kale, hummus, lemon chicken and unlimited toppings. I got a side of pita chips and falafel and the mini baklava. Everything was so yummy!

Very impressed with this place! The service was very friendly and informative, I tried a bowl and the combination options are endless. The veggies were all fresh, the hummus was very flavorful with about 5 different options. The lemon chicken and falafel were both delicious. They have quite a few drink options they do have soda but they also have various lemonades, a ginger turmic and even jalapeño cucumber. If you're thinking about checking it out stop thinking and go!

Just stopped by and not only was the owner super sweet and helpful, he let me try things before I chose them. Everything including the drink was SO GOOD. truthfully. This is better than cava. THANK YOU for such great customer service, you’ll definitely see me more often!
