I went with my cousin, when we arrived the music was a little loud so we asked them to turn it down. We ordered our food and it arrived quick. I tasted the Mac and cheese, I didn’t like it but my cousin gave it a strong 9. I tasted the potato salad, didn’t like it but I was told that it’s ordered a lot. They didn’t have baked beans. The ribs were a solid 10 the burnt ends were a solid 10 and they give you enough. Would I go back YES… The service was great.

Google
The meat was delicious tender and very flavorful. We had the Chico platter it had half slab of ribs and half chicken for me and my husband and some brisket all the choices were magnificent! The meat smelled delicious and tasted you could tell how well they brined it. Anyhow we had left overs and that’s what had for next day lunch. The spot was picked by my husband 🙌

Google
I found this place on IG. This is the best BBQ I've ever had anywhere. Better than John Brown in LIC Queens, Mighty Quinn in NYC, Hometown in Brooklyn or Truth, and Pinkerton in Houston. Their sausage links were on point! Can't wait to bring the family here next year when we come for the Big Foot Tournament.

Google
Great BBQ! I love the Latino influence in the BBQ flavors! Meat was falling off the bone. Sorry, I hit the ribs before taking the pic 😁. You have to try the hatch chili Mac n cheese. Only downfall is there are a lot of hard surfaces in the dining area and sound echos a lot. For most folks that's fine but I have some hearing damage in one ear and it was hard to have a conversation. Even with that said, I'm still going back!

This was our first time at Humo BBQ and we're hoping they'll expand across town b/c this one is 20 miles from our house. So good it's worth the drive though. We shared: Two Meats - Two Sides (Burnt Ends, Hot Link - Chorizo Refried Beans, French Fries) for $26. A bit pricey, but a lot of food. Four Tacos (generous portions of Barbacoa, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Potato) for just $3 each! Chan was an efficient and friendly server, honoring our wish to avoid the dreaded soapy-tasting cilantro (which meant we couldn't order the delicious-sounding Hatch Chile Mac & Cheese or Humo Street Corn unfortunately). But he also double-checked with the kitchen and the owner (manager?) told us the Chile Verde served with the tacos also has cilantro so they would eliminate it also. Excellent service and delicious food!

Google
BBQ ribs with OG SAUCE is the best. This is a hidden gem for bbq. Don’t under estimate that wonderful smell in the parking lot. The sides of mac and street corn were amazing. It was 2:50p on a saturday and this place was packed!!!! The deserts looked very promising, but was so full had to stop. :)

Google
I always see this spot and never got around to going, and now I realize I've missed out this whole time! The atmosphere is giving tex mex, the food is full of flavor and the sides are very diverse. Not one overpowers the other. I got the BBQ chicken and pulled pork and it had a good mix of sweet and spicy with the Mac and cheese and chorizo beans. Overall solid experience would definitely come again. Make sure you save room for dessert the portions are bigger than they seem.

Google
It was soooo good the meat was TENDER …great flavors the Mac and street corn is definitely not what you’re used to but it’s GOOD. And that bread? I had to get an extra one lol. The Sweet sauce was the best to me too. Nice music great service I will be back to try other menu items.

Yelp
We arrived at around 4-5pm we waited a while to get seated and they did run out of a few meats but definitely worth the wait. Didn't get to taste the Tri-Tip but will be returning a bit early to get some before they run out!

Yelp
I'm from Houston! Home of Tex-Mex but I think Via Las Vegas just rang the for doing a one up on BBQ Tex-Mex spin Let's get into my new local Fav YOU HAVE TO TRY!! When U tell you there are great signs when you walk up to a restaurant and a few things exist. The smell of smoked wood, the lines are out of the door, they have a dedicated To Go station which means they are receiving lots of orders and everyone looks like they came in comfort clothing to loosen the waistband after eating well! This was my first time here, and to be honest it was other yelp reviews, and TikTokers that brought me to the local favorite. There are a few things they do right and with excellence. We'll start with the small alcoholic drink menu but trust me if you came from margaritas, you only need two choices and they nailed both of them. Next the food! This is a very simple menu. Meats, Sides, Drinks and desserts. I highly recommend the platters. You get the most bang for the buck at $60 or $100 and to me the smaller platter was for sure enough for 2 w/ left overs or maybe 3 based on how hungry you are. The $100 platter for enough for 3-4 people maybe even 5! Your get to choose 3 meats, 2 sides and we choose the street corn and and the jalapeño mac & cheese. Now this is not a negative comment, more subjective because clearly the mac & cheese is a favorite at the restaurant. However, when you live in the south one thing you have got to know is the mac & cheese has to be on point. I didn't care for this dish. It definitely gave me Velveta vibes, no butter melted and no real cheddar cheese melted on top. (I would highly suggest a change to the recipe) .. the street corn was good just a little too much mayo but still I would suggest it .... let's get to the best part! The MEAT Man let me tell you smoked to perfection, excellent flavor with no sauce, seasoned perfectly, tender ribs, meaty, the chicken smoked and tasty and fall apart brisket. They gave about 4 choices for sauce on the table and while it was not needed the sweet n spicy was so Good!! Now to top off a hearty meal and great margaritas, they have their own version of homemade dessert. We ordered the bread, pudding and the banana pudding. Someone makes banana pudding from scratch. I was definitely a little hesitant because most restaurants make banana pudding from a box. This one however I highly recommend as it is served made from scratch with warm churros for that Tex mix twist! We left absolutely STUFFED! Not only is this a local favorite for those that live in Las Vegas if you happen to be visiting Las Vegas, this is an excellent restaurant for groups. They do have a small amount of seating so be prepared to wait for just a little bit on any given night. It's a lively atmosphere, super casual come as you are including sports attire and be prepared to loosen that waistband ‍ Great job Humo Y'all Come Back now ! Ya Hear

Yelp
Had the burnt ends: really good. elote mac and le bowl: so so..:: not much flavor, just lots of heavy Mac and cheese. Bacon jam brisket sandwich: meh.. but the dessert : bread pudding, which came with vanilla ice cream.. was really good.. overall, we'll be back to try other stuff ... but the meats mostly and not the sandwiches or bowls

Yelp
First time eating here... Best BBQ I've ever had!!! It's fall off the bone, fantastic flavor, melt in your mouth delish!!! Locals are sooo lucky! I'm from Cali and will definitely be coming back & bringing more friends to join me. If y'all haven't gone I strongly suggest you go immediately!! Can't wait to try other dishes -- Pa'La Familia Chico was perfect for my friends & I! Ribs, pulled pork, birria tacos, potato salad, street corn with garnishments of pickled red onions with soft pillowy rolls--can't beat that!! So go & get some BBQ at Humo's HURRAY -- won't disappoint!!

Yelp
Just yum! My top 3 bbq spot in Lv! Had seen them last year on IG and was intrigued and wanted tamales lol. So we made it out this year and it didn't disappoint. The tamales were my least favorite thing of all that we tried but I'll get to that. I didn't catch our servers name but the receipt said Susi. She was really helpful and attentive. Tino came over and talked with us at the end as well and was super kind and explaining they make everything fresh and in house. We tried a number of things and took a bacon jam brisket sando to go. The standouts were the burnt ends, ribs, tacos and the banana pudding omgeeze! The burnt ends were the perfect blend of flavorful, fatty, meaty and delicious! They had a good smoky flavor and I enjoyed them. The ribs were similarly tender, smoky and flavorful. As I talk about the tacos I could go for some now! We tried barbacoa, brisket and pork. Please don't ask which I loved most. They're ALL stars! Old lady said the nana pudding took her back to childhood. The churros were a warm hug and welcomed touch! They had three sauces on the table. I'm not a sweet fan but I did enjoy it here. The sandwich was good and full of meat. I'd get it again. The hatch Mac was recommended, it was fine. The Brussels are also yummy. Honestly it all was, but like I started with, the tamale was at the bottom of a long list. Not at all bad, I just had so many other delicious things. I will be back. This place does things very well, wonderful service, cute decor - I'm a fan!

Yelp
Unacceptable You no longer get to let "I ran out of food" be the reason for a brick and mortar. We met our friends to reconnect at a previous experience to be told 1 hour after opening for dinner, they were sold out. Yes, this is the 2nd time we have gone to this establishment and be informed this has happened. If this was a food truck, maybe, for a brick and mortar, to run out of ALL food, is unacceptable.

Yelp
Finally got out to try this Que! Interesting spot in a small center off Sunset. They bill themselves as MexiCue! Meaning Barbecue with a Mexican flavor profile. They have a full bar and a full dining room. When I walked in I was intrigued by the aromas floating through the dining area. They had just opened for the day but already had six tables there. The menu is small but to the point. My food came out in a timely fashion. The service is good and the owner or manager was working the room talking with guests and seeing that they enjoyed the food. The food first off I didn't care for their Beans. It's not that they lacked any flavor, but they are really soupy! I feel this would have been way better as a Charros style whole beans. The Green Chili Mac was okay, however I felt needed some more cheese. The Beans had more of a cheese pull to them than the Mac does. The sauces are good and I particularly enjoy the Picante Sauce. It was just Spicy enough to complement the food. There is a cute little roll served on my plate, it was soft and warm and just enough to "sop" up some sauce. The Brisket is better than most in town. Thick tender slices that are moist. A little light on the smoke flavor however there is the sent of it present. The St. Louis style Ribs were the best thing on the plate. Bite through tender, not fall off the bone (overdone) also a nice bark that comes from Smoking Low-and-Slow. Good job! Overall a tasty experience, the portions are good and the food is cooked fresh daily. Definitely worth another shot!

Yelp
A friend recommended this place so I had to try it and I was not disappointed. This place is a hidden gem that delivers on all fronts: price, service, quantity and quality. The food is hits all senses: smell, sight and taste. I ordered a 2 meat dish with burnt ends, tri-tip, chorizo refried beans and green chilie Mac & Cheese. The Mac was delicious, tri-tip was tender and flavorful, the chorizo beans were sweet so not for me and lastly the burnt ends... people run, run to this place to try their burnt ends!!! Oh I also had the bread pudding for dessert and oh my god. They had to roll me out of there as I was stuffed. Humo BBQ has it all ambience, service and incredible food.

Yelp
I had a great meal and dining experience at Humo Barbecue. Their new location is spacious and clean. I order pork ribs (which is what I was craving) and it did not disappoint. The meat was tender and flavorful. I also got rib tips, hotlink, potato salad, chorizo beans and brussel sprouts for sides. My favorite were the ribs. I like that you can try different sauces with the meats, although I didn't really need it because it was good as is. The service was great, attentive, and everyone was so nice. I am really glad I finally tried this place.

Yelp
Saw this place on social media and decided to give it a try. It was a full house when we arrived but luckily we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. She helped us chose the best items. The hatch Mac and cheese was delicious! So were the mini tacos. The bbq items were ok.

Yelp
So i found out about this place via Social media and it looked so good i had to give it a try. The first thing you'll notice is that the restaurant is BUSY. I ordered some things to go so it took a little while for sure. Their menu is very interesting, like a Texas BBQ- Mexican style. A few honorable mentions: Hot links- SO flavorful and one of the best i have had Mac & Cheese- Awesome, again packed with flavor. Ribs- YUMMY to the max. They were great. Pulled pork-by itself a bit dry, with their several bbq sauces a little better. Spicy baked beans- These were the best i have had in a long time. Brisket- Juicy. We all know BBQ is expensive, but sometimes this flavor just needs to be experienced!!!! Even though i didn't eat in i took a look and the restaurant looks on the smaller side so get there early!

Yelp
Came here with my sons for Sunday brunch. We ordered the "Chico" platter with Ribs, Tri-tip, bribrisket and Hatch Chile mac and Street Corn for the sides. We also added a side of burnt ends. The ribs were definitely the best meat in the tray. As for the burnt ends, they had some sauce on there that was a little too tangy. Also I feel the burnt ends were cubed a little smaller than ideal and the texture was a little off. As for the service, it was warm and friendly. No lack of kindness here. The dining room had some decent music playing and was decorated pretty nice.

Yelp
Best BBQ in Vegas. We were waiting to try this place for a while and it didn't disappoint! The ribs are hands down the best ribs I've had outside of Texas. The ribs are perfection and the Mac and cheese with hatch chiles are an amazing twist on Thai traditional side. The brisket, chicken and coleslaw are prepared perfectly with no departures from what makes BBQ great. The staff is as kind and friendly as the BBQ is good. Good BBQ is hard to find, but no need to look further. It is right here at Bumo Barbecue.

Yelp
Saw this place on Instagram so figured we'd finally give it a try on a Friday night. When we walked in I was kinda shocked there was only other table. Order a michelada to drink, which I enjoyed. There was three of us so we ordered the platter. Brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. Sides were potato salad, Mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The meat was good, i have not complaints but also wasn't like the best thing I ever ate either. My friends liked the Mac and cheese but I felt it was overcooked. I did really enjoy the coleslaw. Service was also a little slow for only it being us and another table.
google avatar

Yelp
American BBQ with a Mexican twist! To me, BBQ is a fine art. The meat has to be marinated or seasoned well, cooked slow and to perfection, high quality cuts of meat, good choices of sauces etc.... This place definitely hit all those points and more! If you come here, you'll definitely get some great BBQ with a Mexican twist. I'm talking juicy sauced down ribs with flavorful, hearty Mexican street corn on the side. Ya gworl it's that good.
google avatar

Yelp
We recently got to try Humo Barbecue with a large group of people and the overall consensus among everyone was positive. K and I really enjoyed the Chico. It fed both of us and we had enough leftovers for 3 (!) lunches. I didn't taste any mexican flavors with the meats but ribs were so good, brisket was flavorful, and chicken was pretty solid. Humo added their own touches to 2 common barbecue sides (Hatch chile mac & cheese and Elote street corn) and both were really good. I tried and stuck with the OG sauce so I can't comment on the Picante and sweet sauces. Lots of parking and great service. The Chico took a little longer than everyone else's dish but completely understandable with the amount of food.

Yelp
This place is soooo good . 10/10 !! The Customer service is amazing, they give you big portions for a decent price, and the place is well kept. I Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Humo BBQ got it right with the flavors. Let me break it down for y'all: **Ribs:** Tender as they come with that good good flavor. They hit the spot for sure--giving them a solid 8/10. **Burnt Ends:** Yo, these burnt ends were something else! Sauce was on point, tender, straight-up amazing. Easy 9/10. **Chicken:** The chicken? It was alright. I had to mess around with the 3 sauces they got on the table. That sweet sauce was clutch, really brought the chicken up a notch, but overall, it's a 6/10. **Sides:** The corn? It's like that street corn vibe--pretty tasty, I'm giving it a 7/10. But the **Brussels Sprouts**? Man, those were straight fire. Best part of the whole meal, no question. That's a 10/10, hands down. Service was top-notch, and the atmosphere? Good vibes all around. I'm definitely coming back for more. Humo BBQ is where it's at! Ohh I Can't forget the **Churro Banana Pudding**! That mix of cinnamon and sugar was on point. Nice little twist that worked well together. I'm giving that a solid 7/10.

Yelp
We decided to try this place since we have been seeing people post about it on TikTok. The service was good and the place was not too busy. I got the barbacoa and brisket with the Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese is prob one of the best I tasted at a bbq or soul food spot. The brisket was good and tender and seasoned well. The barbacoa was really good and tender, I used the roll to make a sandwich. I would like a little more seasoning on it if it was not for their bbq sauce it would have been under seasoned. My husband had the hot link, ribs and corn. The hot link was good but it tasted more like a smoked sausage than a hot link. The ribs were seasoned well but could have been more tender. They definitely are not fall off the bone. The street corn was really good. They are reasonably priced and we will definitely be back to try more food.

Yelp
07/07/2024 First dinner on our trip took us here. A recommendation from a good friend who is an LV resident. We were a party of four, expecting two more adults to join us. The girls were starving so we decided to order the Grande family meal ($105). We were worried that it wasn't enough food but it was definitely more than enough for four adults and two teens. You would miss this small little place in a strip mall plaza if you weren't paying attention. They were friendly and accommodating because even as we finished eating we stayed to talk a bit longer. Must have items to get: the brisket and garlic Hawaiian rolls. The brisket was fatty, moist, tender, and melt in your mouth DELICIOUS!!! If we came back to order again, we would just order the brisket and the garlic Hawaiian rolls. The pork ribs were tender and had a good amount of meat on them. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful. The hatch chile mac and cheese was okay, not anyone's favorite. The flavor was too much hatch chile for us. My daughter said it tasted too oniony for her. The potato salad was my favorite, light and yummy. I loved the green onions on top and it did not have too much mayo. We ordered an extra six garlic Hawaiian rolls because those went fast. We wished we were staying in a room with a fridge because hubby would've eaten all the meat for a snack, or for breakfast the next day. LOL! Great value for the money. So I guess we will have to come back the next time we're in town. Thanks Joseph for the recommendation!

Yelp
We loved it. I don't have much detail about my review. The one word to describe it was "Mexicue" which you see posted on the wall when you walk in. It was a great overall flavor. The mixture of the BBQ style and the blend of Mexican origins was fire. We shared a few items. Just to sample the flavors. We got the loaded pork papa :10/10 (favorite) Brisket tacos : 8/10 One meat combo with two sides. Ribs, hatch chile Mac, and street corn : 7/10 (ribs could be more tender) Rolls : 10/10 so yummy (highly recommend) The environment was very chill: 7/10 We went at opening and it slowly got half filled within an hour. We will be back. To try even more food. Customer service was good : 8/10 Cleanliness : 10/10 Loved the large open window to outside adding natural lighting to restaurant. * Highly recommend *

Yelp
Sometimes blessings come in disguise! When Humos was shut down suddenly due to the new owner kicking them out with no notice, Humo's took it in stride. Never complaining they just went to work finding a new place so they could keep doing what they do best; make delicious food! I have to say we love the new place. It is so warm and inviting. Feels like you are part of their family. The food continues to be spot on! Their brisket is so tender. So are their ribs. Love the BBQ sauce options. Their Mac and cheese with green chili's is sooooo good! We had their potato salad for the first time today and wow. I'll be going back for more! And finally, we ended our meal with the banana pudding. My partner does not normally like banana pudding but he loved Humos. Love your new place! So glad it turned out for the best for you. Food was amazing once again!

Yelp
I had been waiting to try this place, so when the soft opening was announced, I knew it was time to go check it out. The place was a lot bigger than I expected. The wall mural was well done!! I wish I had a better photo of it! The service was great! The review was just purely based on my taste. I like flavorful with mild heat. I ordered the burnt ends and the brisket mac n cheese. The burnt ends were sooo good!! Perfect amount of crisp and tenderness. The brisket mac n cheese was spicy and very flavorful, but I just didn't feel it had enough of a distinct "mac n cheese" flavor for me. The brisket was cooked perfectly but the mac n cheese didn't stand out.

Yelp
Horrible experience! Stood in the lobby for 10 minutes only to be told by the hostess/server that it would be another 30 minutes to get a seat even though there were plenty of open tables. Will not be coming back.

Paul J.

Yelp
4 of us ordered the Pa'La Familia Grande platter and had to much food. We got the Burt Ends, so good. Ribs and tacos, so good. Mac & cheese, street corn and bread, all very good. We hade take home for all of it but the tacos. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I will be going back when in Vegas again.

Yelp
My husband's 2nd time coming here and my first time came in around 4pm today . The food was delicious. Got burnt ends it was tender and juicy never had burnt ends like this! I got cucumbers chill cocktail drink that was refreshing! The husband got brisket with some fat , . No complaint about the food! Everything was great! The place was clean, good music, bathroom was clean, the graffiti on the wall was pretty cool. Just a good vibe. Our service was Ok. Not the best . We had to call her couple times . And no it was not busy when we came in, there were probably 5 tables that were occupied including us with 2-3 server . She wasn't attentive. Anyways I would definitely come back here ! I highly recommend you try it!

Yelp
This is a new sport and it's got great atmosphere and the music is on point, now about the food! It's so good you have to try it. Family owned and the portions are perfect. Will be back for sure. The owners came to the table and said hello nice touch.

Yelp
Finally i made it here but i left disappointed. There was a lot of parking when i arrived. I did notice a lot of people standing outside. Ones i arrived there was a couple waiting in front of us so we were waiting for the host to check us in. This guy looked streesed and would look but wouldn't acknowledge. After like 5 minutes i approached and asked to be added to the list. Shortly after we were told that they had ran out of ribs but will have again hour and a half. After waiting for a while we just walked out. We will give them a try maybe some other time.

Yelp
Best BBQ I've had. If I lived in Vegas I'd be here every week. Great prices and environment. Please open up in California

Yelp
**Zero Stars - Humo is a Complete Joke!** Where do I even begin? This place claims to be 'Mexique'-Mexican BBQ, but don't be fooled - there's no smoke, no flavor, and certainly no BBQ authenticity here! I went in expecting actual smoked meats, only to be utterly disappointed. I ordered the brisket & hot link plate for $26, and what I got was a sad, boiled brisket that had zero smoke ring and tasted like something I could've bought at Costco and reheated myself. The fries were undercooked, and the 'elote' (street corn) was the most disgusting thing I've ever tried - it was soggy and flavorless. As for the so-called 'Hatch Green Chile Mac n Cheese' ($6), it was basically Velveeta with canned hatch chiles thrown in a ramekin. What a joke. When I asked what type of smoker they use, I got the most ridiculous response: "Wood." No kidding, every smoker uses wood - but where's the smoke? The kitchen is full of ovens, not smokers, and I didn't smell a hint of smoke anywhere. The drinks were decent, though I'm sure they were hoping you'd drink enough to forget how bad the BBQ was - except they didn't bring the drinks until halfway through the meal! Talk about bad service. I would honestly rather burn a $100 bill than spend $70 at this place again. This isn't just overpriced; it's a total scam. Save your money, and go anywhere else. This is not real BBQ, it's a cheap, tasteless mess posing as something it's not. Never again. Tino- We did ask and were told wood!!! I wanted to say something when you asked but my husband wanted to save you the embarrassment of destroying whatever ridiculous response you would come up with. Just call it what it is... you don't smoke your meat & if you did you would've stated what they are in your "response" to my review which you turned replies off to!

Yelp

Yelp
If you like barbecue and fusion with Mexican food, this is the newest jam, the Burnt ends are absolutely amazing ribs were very good brisket was tender and super juicy. Highly recommend. The Elote was bomb!! We also ordered the chicken which had a beautiful dry rub on it and the coleslaw, which was surprisingly delicious with small bits of green apples in it.

Justin J.

Yelp
I was a little skeptical of this place after seeing it on a Facebook reel. But we gave it a try today when we picked up hungry family members that flew into visit us. Everyone enjoyed the food (although the BBQ potato was a bit spicy for the mom in-law). Brisket and burnt ends were tender and flavorful. Brussels sprouts side was very good (but not crispy which I prefer). Wife really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. Very good flavors all around we will definitely be back. The service did seem a bit slow at first but it wasn't too bad so still 5 stars for this local BBQ joint with Mexican flair.

Kisun C.

Yelp
The service was quick and excellent. However, the food was underwhelming. The brisket tacos were pretty good, however the brisket plate was on the drier side. I'm sure the brisket tacos were better due to the sauce and toppings. The ribs were not as good as I expected them to be. Kinda fatty and just regular ribs. Nothing special. The Mac & Cheese was nasty. No one at my table enjoyed it. Their alcoholic drinks were pretty looking, but not as tasty. I wouldn't come back. The social media reviews were very misleading.

Sam S.

Yelp
food: side of beans, side of mac, and ribs were solid. brisket was a little cold and flavorless and the pulled chicken especially was cold and dry what ruined this meal was a terrible experience getting the food, from start to finish. first, a customer ordered 400$ of food at the take-out counter ahead of us. their order was prepared BEFORE ours. when we ordered we were given no warning a full catering order would take precedent over two dinner entrees then, after waiting about 45 minutes, we were told one of the meats we ordered was out. didn't love learning we weren't getting what we had already been paid for after waiting for so long. finally, after waiting an hour -- with zero indication our meal would take any longer than normal -- we got our food. adding insult to injury, one plate was missing a roll I get that this was an unusually busy night. it happens. but it might help to, I don't know, acknowledge when someone is having a bad time with more than a cursory "sorry about that!". we're surely never coming back

Yelp
Firstly, I want to mention that I do not often leave reviews; Humo Barbecue ABSOLUTELY deserves a review. I saw this restaurant on TikTok and absolutely had to try it. My husband and I came on Saturday around 6:30 PM. We were greeted and immediately seated. The atmosphere was incredible; beautifully decorated and gave me a very cozy feeling, almost as if I was at home. Plenty of space and the seating arrangements were modern and super cool - Inspo for my apartment! The food... OMG. I posted pictures of our meals, and they cannot compare to the real deal. The meats were beyond tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Sauce is not needed, but they offer three different sauces: The OG, Picante, and Sweet. My husband and I both LOVED the sweet bbq sauce. We asked if we could purchase a bottle and they bottled us up some to take home! The fries, as a side, were perfectly crisp and seasoned. Paired super well with all of the sauces. Lastly, the deserts. My husband had the churro banana pudding and about died at how delicious it was: I had, as a surprise, the red velvet flan.. INSANE. Staff were available throughout our entire dining experience; kind, polite, and very attentive. One individual truly made our experience phenomenal; Gregg spoke with us, asked out our experience, the food, and the restaurant. My husband and I absolutely loved him and his personality. Gregg was incredibly knowledgeable and was the one who surprised me with the red velvet flan! My husband and I cannot express enough how much we love this restaurant and want to see it thrive. PLEASE take our advice and give it a try, you will not regret it! Thank you Humo for an amazing birthday dinner and experience! We will be back!

Yelp
We were super disappointed! Waste our time and gas We drove 40 min and arrived at 6:45 and they told us that they couldn't serve us because their kitchen was closed. It was only two of us. Directly behind us was a family of 4 who was not turned away. The restaurant was not packed there were open tables. They say they close at 8. We came all the way from Centennial Hills for them to discriminate against us. They are horrible. Very hurtful and humiliating and we will never come back. We went around the corner to CodFathers and the food and the service was great.

Yelp
I only gave them two stars because I didn't appreciate the bait and switch advertising and act first I thought it was a regular mistake until it happened a second time the when I complained the situation was rectified but then it happened for a third time , Now I've learned my lesson. Whenever you dine in the restaurant I guess they have no choice but to give you the best food but if you order to go the food is always totally a different experience. The meat was tough and overcooked like it's been there for a while or maybe it's been leftover from the previous day. I thought I've found a good place for barbecue but not for takeout.

Yelp
We were craving BBQ and found this Unique BBQ made with Mexican flavors and meat prepared as they would at a smoke house! Located in an unassuming strip mall, greeted by the host Greg and served by Carina who were not only welcoming to us but everyone else who dined for lunch. Started off with the Frito Pie topped with burnt ends. The pork had great unique flavor and just the right amount of char. Impressed how tender and moist it was. We also ordered the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich and the Bacon brisket sandwich. Again very surprised at the chicken and pork were flavorful and moist. There was no need to add any additional Sauce. The Texas Toast used was from thick slices of Hawaiian bread which compliments both meats! For Sides we had the hatch chile Mac and cheese and the potato salad which had their own flare. We couldn't finish the big portions but left room to share the banana pudding with Churros. Real bananas added to the pudding and topped with warm churros. Given the portions and the unique flavors the price was well worth it. Off I were to compare this to a sandwich chain restaurant, a medium or large sandwich will cost you $12-$15 now a days. Great staff and food, will be back to try their BBQ meat platters!

Yelp
Hidden gem in Henderson Sometimes an unfamiliar restaurant can be daunting. Being this was the first time going to this restaurant I didn't know what to expect. Knowing this, I am glad that I decided to go. This place is simplicity at its finest. The restaurant is dark with many seats. The food has amazing flavor and taste. I recommend the 'Burnt Ends' for an appetizer. The brisket is soft and cooked perfectly. The service was great, giving good recommendations. Upon writing this, no alcohol was being served, but it appears that they maybe doing so in the future. Will return back! Overall 4.8/5 stars for great tasting food, great opportunity for growth

Yelp
Save your time and money I was willing to justify the price in hopes that it'd be worth it. Definitely was not, we order the "Chico" plate. Waited nearly 40 mins for food. Received cold brisket and soggy tacos. Great concept, bad execution. Never received refills on drink or extra napkins besides what the utensils were wrapped in. Do not recommend.

Yelp
This is my personal opinion; this place has the BEST EFFIN ribs and chicken I've ever had. Brisket - 3 and a half stars out of 5 Chicken - 5 Ribs - 5 Bread - 5 Fries - 4

Yelp
Delicious!! I was a little unsure how bbq and Mexican would go together, but boy was i surprised! Hubby and I went for lunch and shared the 2 meat, 2 side plate and it was plenty of food for the both of us. I loved the burnt ends. So flavorful and tasty. The hatch chili mac and cheese was delicious too. We will 100% go back here. Service was great too.

Yelp
I went there for a late lunch about 3pm and it's a nice restaurant, good service but my order was inedible although I tried. The meat was way too salty and shouldn't have been served. I didn't have time to complain as I had to get back to work, but if I do give this place a try again I'll definitely complicate the food is as bad as my first time.

Yelp
Tried the food due to the positive word of mouth and ended up getting some okay bbq. Some highlights of my meal were the ribs and burnt ends. The ribs were tender. The burnt ends was the best tasting meat I had with my meal. I also liked their horchata since it wasn't overly sweet and rich. I liked the flavor of the hatch chile mac and cheese. My gripes consisted of the usual issues when it comes to Las Vegas bbq. Most of the meat had a taste and texture of being made a previous day and reheated. I got served a end piece of brisket that was particularly dry. No distinguished smoke rings or varying layers of lean and moist fatty meat; just the same pieces of grey dry meat. The burnt ends were sitting in a pool of broken sauce consisting of grease and bbq sauce; Characteristics of being overly reheated before serving or sitting in a heated container for too long. More freshness issues pertained to the sides I got; the mac and cheese and brussels sprouts were barely warm. I ultimately had to ask for a swap for the brussels sprouts. I personally didn't enjoy the taste and the texture was "off" due to the stems being particularly hard and unpleasant. The cole slaw i got instead wasn't too appetizing either since it had chunks of what seemed to be apples in it. The service from the staff was excellent. Everyone was very pleasant and attentive and I appreciated that they were willing to swap out the side I did not enjoy. They sold me on getting their horchata that I liked. The meal I got in it's entirety was decent. But I was expecting more due to the rave reviews I hear from this establishment. I'd probably come again to try some different foods on the menu, but I wouldn't go out my way to recommend this restaurant to others.

Yelp
The hubs and I stopped to try Humo since we found ourselves on that side of town. We had been seeing tons of posts about this place in the socials so we were excited to try it! Located off of Sunset in a strip mall that time has forgotten, it boasts ample parking but a bit of an odd setup inside. They've only been open for 6 months so I'm sure it's a work in progress. And honestly none of that matters because the food is...PHENOMENAL! What we ordered: melt in your mouth, fall apart brisket plus 2 sides of hatch chile Mac n cheese & sweet & spicy Brussel sprouts, a brisket taco & the bacon jam brisket sandwich with a side of chorizo refried beans. Everything was delicious and definitely warrants return visits. The highlights were the brisket--the taco was my husbands favorite--hand made tortillas gave it that extra special touch and really expanded the flavor. His bacon jam sandwich was excellent but he did say he felt like the chicharon was unnecessary. He wasn't a fan of the texture. But he still said that sandwich was incredible. The chorizo beans were smooth and yummy. My brisket was a decent portion, melted in my mouth and I loved the sweet bbq sauce. There are three sauces to choose from on each table; OG, sweet & picante. I did not try the picante because I felt like the sweet sauce was my jam. Mac & cheese with the hatch chile was delish but let me tell you those sweet & spicy brussel sprouts were do I even like brussel sprouts NO! But everywhere I look brussel sprouts are being hyped up. So I was like ok let's do it and oh my dog they were fantastic. Definite reorder on our next visit! Service was fantastic and everything was served hot and very timely. Our only complaint is that it's a bit of a drive from us but it's worth it! Humo is a great find!
