What to Eat and Drink at High Street Place, Boston’s Newest Food Hall | Eater Boston

"I discovered a Mediterranean-leaning vendor with Mediterranean paninis, a labne bar, mezze and salads, dessert offerings like halva with banana and strawberry, and beverage pairings that include selections from Armenian wineries Zulal and Keush." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Service is nonexistent but because it’s not a sit down restaurant I don’t really mind this! Five stars for the food. I got the beef kofta plate and it was super fresh and filling. Loved how the flavors were not overwhelming and worked really well together. Would definitely come back to try the other plates!

I really want to like this place, but I don’t eat rice and every time I try to sub rice for anything else they seem annoyed and charge quite a bit for a side dish. Recommend a good non rice option.

I’m eating the Chicken Skewer bowl as we speak and for 14$ , it’s delicious and incredible value for your buck . Worth a 10 minute wait .tender Chicken It’s all full flavored and fresh , very fluffy rice and excellent hummus. I’ll def be back .

Decent food and quick service. I ordered Chicken skewer plate and the quantity was good. However, I felt the chicken to be bland and wasn’t grilled properly. Might go back again to try other items on their menu.

The Chicken Shish Taouk bowl was a phenomenal deal: great flavor and a generous portion size.

The chicken skewer bowl is delicious and a great portion for $14. If you're starving you'll finish it, otherwise you may end up with a little extra, as I did. Chicken is perfectly seasoned and cooked and you get a ton of it. The service is certainly not bad, but a little bedside manner is recommended.

Review for HUM'OVEH. The staff was excellent. The sandwich was really creative and light yet satisfying. Could amp the spice. Reminded me of a favorite saj that I have loved in Europe. Wish they were using the laffa or saj dome oven and had different varieties with more traditional fillings like labneh, pickles and hot sauce. Would love love love to try the breakfast menu and would like to see extended breakfast on weekends please!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my chicken sumac wrap from Hum'Oveh. I wasn't expecting it to be that great since it is from a food hall, but I was honestly blown away. It was so delicious, and it was freshly made and the flavors of the chicken, hummus and onions blended so well together. Also, the price is incredible considering the portion and how yummy it was. The service is also great - the food was made in only a couple of minutes. I would definitely recommend this wrap from Hum'Oveh, and I will definitely be returning to take it again.

Yelp
Tried this place for lunch. Humoveh Beef Kofta - the beef kofta lacked flavor and wasn't super tender. The rice didn't have much flavor and wasn't really warm.

Yelp
During a visit to High Street Place, I stopped by Hum'Oveh. They offer an Armenian spin to Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the chicken sumac wrap/panini and found it to be delicious, fresh, and flavorful! I've had plenty of Mediterranean food, but found the chicken sumac wrap to combine some interesting flavors. The garlic sauce inside was especially tasty. If you're in the area, definitely check them out! Note: According to the staff member I spoke to all the chicken is halal.

Yelp
This is my favorite spot in high street place for lunch. I also get the chicken skewer bowl. It's super filling and flavorful. You get nice servings of rice and the condiments (hummus, red onion, etc). The best part is you get two chicken skewers. After eating this around noon I don't think about dinner until seven. Completely worth it and they always package it really nicely to go. Staff are always friendly and ask how your day is going even when they are busy. You always know it'll be fresh and made quickly. I cannot recommend them enough.

Yelp
I was really disappointed by my experience here. I was excited for this very veggie friendly option with Mediterranean flavors in high street place - but found the quality and quantity of food lacking. Everywhere in HSP is a little pricey which is unsurprising, but my dining partner went to a different option and came back with a much larger wrap than mine for a similar price. I'm not a big person but was definitely still hungry after eating one of their entrees. They don't allow for any form of substitution in their dishes which is tough if you have any restrictions. Mostly though I found the flavors forgettable and the entire wrap to be a little dry which I was really sad about since I usually love Mediterranean food!

Yelp
Someone stopped by and sucked out the brains of the ONE person behind the register. She doesn't care. SECOND person shows up. She is the same. Brain sucked out of her, too. Food is decent but lacks love. It's slapped together and you wish for the best.

Yelp
So good! If you go to high street cafe then you should definitely stop here. I have had the chicken skewer multiple times and it is just so good. It fills you up and the flavors are amazing. It's also very quick- the line normally isn't long compared to the other vendors. Will be back soon!

Yelp
$15 for about 3 oz of shish kebab meat, with much bigger pile of saffron rice and some hummus / veggie sides. Is this how it is in 2022 with food inflation and worker shortages? I guess so, but my bad for not being a better consumer. The main attraction - the chicken - was too small a portion and tasted steamed / braised, not grilled. Freshness of veggie sides was not there either. Next time, I'll follow common sense and go to where the lines -- and better value / quality -- are.

Yelp
Average at best. If you're looking for a vegan meal at High Street Place, this is one of the few places that offer that. I ordered the Humoveh Grain and it was okay, nothing special. What stood out most to me was their poor customer service. The lady working there was not friendly and it wasn't even busy as I was the only one ordering. Another reviewer also mentioned this too. I'm less likely to return for average food if the customer service is lacking.

Yelp
The food here is delicious and so flavorful. Some may say its a little expensive, but I think its worth it for the great flavor. I've tried a few things here, but I liked Chicken sumac the best. I really like their grilled panini style sandwiches using pita. Their mint lemonade is also fantastic. I love this place and will be back often.

Yelp
I ordered the Hum'oveh grain plate ($13) and found it underwhelming, but still edible. It comes with a base of farro--which was served cold and totally plain--with assorted sides/mezze type items including roasted cauliflower, caponata, hummus, and "mediterranean salad", which appeared to consist solely of cherry tomatoes and olives in a boring vinaigrette. Everything was fridge-cold and underseasoned, although the quality of the ingredients was passable. The menu said there would be "spicy tahini sauce," and there was maybe a teaspoon of pale orange something on the cauliflower, but it certainly wasn't spicy or even tasty. The best item in the mix was the hummus, which was pretty good. In sum, I was really disappointed. Maybe other menu items are better but with so many other lunch options I am reluctant to try this place again. Also, the portion size was fine but I tend to be a light eater, and for the price this was not a good bargain.
