Humphry Slocombe offers unique and delightful flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. While my recent visit came with a bit of a wait (long lines and a single staff member managing the weekend crowd – kudos to her for her perseverance!), the delicious reward at the end solidified it as a 4-star experience. One of the things I loved about Humphry Slocombe (as with most ice cream places nowadays) is the opportunity to try before you buy. They offer tastings of their various flavors, allowing you to discover the perfect scoop (or two!) for your taste buds. They also cater to portion preferences with different sizes available, making it easy to indulge in a single scoop or grab a pint to enjoy later. For the pint-sized ice cream lovers, they even had a tempting buy-2-get-1-free deal – a great way to stock up on your favorites or try new flavors. After much deliberation, I landed on the Cornflake Crunch ice cream. This delightful concoction was a symphony of creamy sweetness with a touch of saltiness, perfectly complemented by the satisfying crunch of cornflakes. It was a flavor explosion, and every bite was a moment of pure joy. While they don't have any designated seating areas, this didn't take away from the experience. It was a beautiful day, and we enjoyed strolling through Redwood City's downtown with our ice creams in our hands.

Stopped in for the first time last night, not really knowing anything about the store/brand. The person working there was really friendly, fun to talk to, and glad to tell us all about the flavors, ingredients, and menu options. Yes, it costs bit more than some other ice cream, but in terms of value for the quality, it was worth it.

Finally open! There are not a ton of great ice cream options in Redwood City, so I'm super grateful that a Humphrey Slocombe scoop shop opened here. They have a modest collection of flavors, sugar cones, and some pints for sale. It's simple and small, but a welcome addition. Also has a couple benches and a small table out front.

Fantastic ice cream, with strange, but fun names. Only problem is that everyone has to sample several flavors to know what to get, so the line can take a while. But when it is your turn, it is worth it. Ordered two singles for my daughter and I and it was $13 and then my buddy ordered a double scoop with two flavors for his kid and him and it was $8. Lesson learned.

Great! LOOOVE the peanut butter ripple flavour with the waffle cone. My favourite! Not sure why the reviews are low, staff very friendly and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
