I love the stuff here! Best team doing the best coffee in the city! The only thing is, it’s so hot lately that the ac must be broken, but the team keeps up with the good vibes every morning. I hope they get paid extra for these super hot days!!!

Google
Great coffee!! Super friendly barista, if I’m not mistaken Yirnur?! Haha thanks made my morning

Google
One of my favorite spots to stop in when I find myself in this part of town.

Google
Elnur is the best barista ever! Super chill, always in a good mood, and somehow makes my coffee taste amazing every single time

Google
Hot oat milk latte (no syrup). The oat milk was so creamy and the espresso was strong. I’d totally go back on a cold day when I’m craving something simple 😎

The coffee was wonderful, and it had a unique decoration that looked different than the area surrounds it. It was simple and not that many noises in coordination. It looks so clean that I can say it is one of the cleanest. However, the coffee can contain a maximum of 16 people, and their chair looks impressive. Not all chairs are that comfortable (let's say if you plan to stay less than three hours, it is ok). 4 chairs look on the road, and I liked the view there. Their employees were friendly, talking with respect, let's say so friendly. I loved their coffee and would love to go back and sit there.

Google
One of the best places to grab a quick coffee and chill. Place is cosy and has a great ambience. Able to sit by the window and watch the world go by. More importantly, the coffee is fantastic. Great nutty taste which complements well with the decor and place. Nothing better than a good coffee to start the day and this is one of the better places to get it.

Google
Great vibes and even better coffee. There’s always great music playing and the staff are very friendly. You gotta try their raspberry croissant.

Yelp
Love their cold brew and croissants. The cold brew is smooth and goes down easy-pleasant even black. The croissants are perfectly flakey and buttery. They offer whole grain croissants that are pretty good too. . Also have a selection of cold beverages in their cold case. I enjoy picking up a wellness shot. Super friendly staff and warm environment.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this coffee shop because I was in the area one morning and really needed my caffeine fix. This coffee shop is small, so it is more of a grab and go coffee spot. The inside is so cute and aesthetic. The baristas were super nice and greet you when you walk in. They serve Stumptown coffee here which is delish. I really enjoyed my iced vanilla latte with almond milk. It was a perfect amount of sweetness, and the latte had a nice consistency. They also have a variety of pastries and goodies. I was a bit hungry, so I got super excited when I saw they had an everything croissant with cream cheese. I've never seen one before so I wanted to try. Only thing is that I wish the croissant was warm, but other wise it tasted good. There is a bar table at the front, with only a few seats and there were also few seats outside as well. I was here early on a Saturday morning, so was able to grab a seat and sit inside for a bit. It was so nice and relaxing to sit at the table by the window, while having my morning coffee and croissant. Overall a nice spot to grab a quick coffee and/or snack if you happen to be in the neighborhood or are on the go!

Yelp
I don't mean this lightly, this is the BEST latte I've ever had! The latte + the chocolate cookie is simply the best combo.

Yelp
Cute little cafe with quick service, few chairs to sit near window serving Stumptown coffee, pastries and some bottled drinks. We stopped fr a quick coffee after cycling on summer streets, ordered iced latte and a cold Brew. Really liked the coffee and will recommend this place for a quick coffee grab.

Yelp
The inside was smaller than I expected but it's a cute place to grab a bite/drink and catch up with friends. Service was super quick as well.

Yelp
Im seeing many good reviews but unfortunately americano I got was very weak and watery, I wish I came back and asked for another coffee. It was hard to drink as it tasted watered down. The shop itself was really nice and clean and I got there as soon as it opened up.

Yelp
My reliable coffee spot. Pretty quick service. They have David's Tacos for breakfast until they run out. Space is clean, not meant to dine in.
google avatar

Paul Z.

Yelp
Decent coffee in Tribeca. Serving stumptown coffee. Typical prices for coffee. You can get a bottle of Poland spring for $1.25 which isnt bad at all for the area
google avatar

Melissa N.

Yelp
Yeah... I come here because they are close to work. Their prices are the same as everyone else's. I say their a three-something stars because I think coffee is burnt. However, the service is friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
The oat milk latte is perfection! The everything cream cheese croissant was also delicious. Seating is available, but limited. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Yum! I went to Hungry Ghost Coffee after a workout Saturday morning and it was great! I got an almond milk cappuccino and a multigrain croissant both were delish. I will definitely be back to try more of the pastries! They always look good when I peek in but by 12 pm most were gone so go early for pastries!

Yelp
I'm not sure if it was a bad day or what, but the coffee was terrible. Service was fine and a cute shop, but we got a coffee and nothing else and barely could drink it. It was weak, sour, had little taste, and not worth drinking. Wouldn't go back, but seeing other reviews, maybe it is worth trying again if we are in the area - though would definitely not go out of my way to try it again.

Yelp
Randomly tried this coffee shop and expected it to be really good because they serve stumptown, but was not prepared for how excellent it turned out to be. The iced matcha latte was 10/10. The barista (whose name I regretfully did not get but she had beautiful red lipstick on) explained that it's made from ceremonial grade matcha. It really was not bitter at all and required no sugar whatsoever. The hot latte was great too. Again, very little bitterness but was very smooth in taste. No sugar needed. Our barista was an absolute joy to interact with! Great coffee AND great service.

Yelp
Super cute Tribeca coffee shop! It is conveniently located right off the AC train. It is small, but they do have a few outdoor tables and a little counter inside. I got an iced oat milk latte. It was really amazing! I loved the butteryness of the espresso. It mixed perfectly with the oat milk. I would definitely get it again. My only complaint was that their large size is most other place's small or medium. I found it to be a bit pricey for the size that it was, even though it was great tasting coffee! I would 100% go back though! It's a nice spot for a treat yourself moment.

Yelp
Great coffee spot in the city. Service was friendly and my latte was delicious. I got a caramel latte with Almond milk. Ambience is also cute.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in on a hot day to grab a refreshing cold drink. I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte. The latte was good and had a strong matcha flavor. It was not the best matcha drink or latte that I've ever had, but it hit the spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Didn't have any issues with the service like some of the other reviews mentioned. Will agree it's on the pricier side especially considering size, but overall enjoyed my latte - felt like it was well made, right temp. Very satisfying and aesthetic of shop is clean/cute with a few bar stool seats by front window. Warning no bathroom though so to me still more of a pick up vs chill/linger spot.

Yelp
This is a walk in and walk out type of coffee shop. It's tiny! But the coffee is good. Highly recommend it. The price is right and the customer service is good.
google avatar

Maddy M.

Yelp
The shop interior was cute. I'm a big fan of Stumptown so it was nice to know they were serving quality coffee. Felt a little pricey and it was unfortunate that there was no restroom or any public place they could recommend to use the bathroom within 5-6 blocks. Still, the coffee was good and the atmosphere in the back corner booth area was great.

Yelp
Friendly people, friendly carrot zucchini muffins, and friendly cold brew! Stop by here on your way to work or whatever, and pay with Apple Pay or credit card (they have one of those isquare things). Get a seat at the friendly wooden counter and look out upon Church Street. Feel the A train a-rumblin' beneath you.
google avatar

Yelp
Needed a cup of coffee and decided to stop here instead of Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts in order to support local business. The coffee is pricey so you think you would get a good cup of coffee -- WRONG! Coffee tasted horrible. Had that lingering bitter aftertaste that old coffee or dirty pots produce. Not only that, but their payment method pressures you to tip at least a dollar (which was 33% of my order). Wish I had gone to Dunkin', which by the way are franchises owned/managed by local families. Your guaranteed of getting a good cup of coffee there.
google avatar

Kayla S.

Yelp
Good coffee. Got a latte and it was nice. Very small shop though, not a place to comfortably sit for a long period of time. Still delicious coffee though!
google avatar

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
Stumptown coffee here and its strong and good. Ding on rating bc seating isn't great but overall vibes were great. They have some food too.
google avatar

Yelp
Great new coffee shop that just opened up in Tribeca! They have a few stores in Brooklyn that my wife had been to and always enjoyed, so it's nice to see them here in Manhattan. We went on an early Saturday morning and got a cold brew and almond latte. Both were enjoyable drinks with quality ingredients. Barista was very friendly as well. Plan on coming back here in the future!
google avatar

Phuong D.

Yelp
Small no-frills cafe ideal for people wanting to grab coffee on the way. Not good for working as there isn't a place to sit. I got a hot coffee that tastes pretty standard, nothing that wowed me but it was what I wanted. Prices is a tiny bit more expensive than what I'm used to ($3 for a small coffee) partly because of the area.

Yelp
A very cute little coffee shop in Tribeca with seats perfect for people watching. When we have a free morning off, we usually go to the nearby Japanese bakery for breakfast, but after I told him about this place, he was so amused by the name of the place that he wanted to try this cafe instead (Hungry Ghost = 餓鬼). The vegan zucchini carrot muffin is delicious and very filling. Non-dairy milks are also available and our cold brews were quite good. It would be great if there are more seats available for meetings and such, but c'est la vie!

Yelp
i loved the name of this place, which is why I decided to grab some coffee during a walk in the area. I grabbed my usual which is a cafe au lait breve which they made perfectly. i love simple coffee menus and they have a few treat options as well!

William S.

Yelp
The Church Street location is challenged with trying to offer a hot cup of coffee. This may be due to the coffee urns where the coffee is kept until poured. Both times going to this location I had lukewarm coffee. Not willing to try a third time.

Johnny L.

Yelp
Arrogant manager. The least you can do is to inform your paying customers nicely. There are thousands of good coffee shops in the neighborhood n you are not one of them.
google avatar

Tijana K.

Yelp
Probably one of the best matcha lattes I've had in a while! Who knew oat milk could be frothed so well?

Martin F.

Yelp
Sometimes end up going out of my way to stop by here. Latte is my go to, always perfect foam. Lie their food offerings, too.

Shari E.

Yelp
Love this place! Warm, friendly and always welcoming. The coffee is the best!

Melissa K.

Yelp
Really great coffee - fun, friendly, professional staff! Latte was creamy and the croissant was soft and flaky
google avatar

Grace D.

Yelp
It's a shame this place can't match the quality of staff with the quality of the coffee. I've visited here several times, always give a smile and tip, and just got told off for taking 10 seconds to put milk in my coffee too close to the register. Clearly that person is taking out their own issues on me, but as other reviewers have said, this is NYC - I'll be taking my money elsewhere.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
Hmmm. 715 on Friday and staff staring through us through a locked door. Hours posted wrong? People swear by this place but not sure it's worth it.

Sara R.

Yelp
Loved the coffee here! Little pricey but the latte was perfect. They're a tribeca staple
google avatar

Liz A.

Yelp
Expensive but great coffee! Better than most other coffee shops in the area. Recommend an almond milk latte or their cold brew
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
There is way too much competition in Tribeca for mediocrity at this price point, especially with a rude and unwelcoming staff.
google avatar

Sienna S.

Yelp
Love Hungry Ghost and was super excited when they opened in Tribeca. Definitely try the carrot & zucchini muffins. Doesn't sound great but is actually delicious, sweet and very moist. Also make delicious matcha lattes.

Alison L.

Yelp
Too bad the vibes are not on par with the coffee (which is good btw). Go here 4x a week. Never get so much as a smile except when I tip. Today got told "I just have to ask" when I asked for some milk for my coffee. Bizarre customer service. Last time I'm going back and it's too bad because it's perfectly located on my commute to work.

Alyson B.

Yelp
No no no no no! The barista and male counterpart were frantic this morning with a line out the door. I thought it would be helpful to pass them the empty milk containers to refill so customers weren't getting frustrated. I reached over the glass counter to leave the empty container and she yelps, "that is literally the worst place you could put that." I asked, "sorry, why?" "Because it could fall on the pastries!!" - it was standing up straight. I just can't believe she responded to a customer who was trying to help like this. Will never return to this over-priced cafe again. Bring back Sun Bloom calm energy pllllllease!

Alex Z.

Yelp
Hands down best Cappuccino in TriBeCa. The staff are very friendly and they are always welcoming. My new favorite coffee place serving Stumptown coffee.
