Hungry Hollow Farm

I have purchased free range, organic chickens from Hungry Hollow Farm for over 3 years. Purchase and pick up has been super simple every time. We really like that Farmer Grant is partnering with other small businesses in the area. Picking up fresh bread and cookies when we pick up chicken is an added treat. The chicken has always been well packaged and frozen solid when we pick it up. It is delicious and lean when we eat it. I would recommend purchasing from Farmer Grant, he clearly takes pride in all he does and offers.

Our family (2 adults, 4 elementary aged kids) had a wonderful time touring Hungry Hallow Farm. We learned so much about how the farmers are caring for the animals and the land. Farmer Grant answered all of our questions and our kids loved interacting with the animals. I felt good knowing my kids understand a bit more about where food can come from when we choose to purchase form small farms like this one. At the end of the tour we picked up eggs, beef, bread, and cookies! All of which left us saying “this is so good!!!!” The egg shells are thick and the eggs are so insanely delicious. It’s amazing how different they are from what I buy at the store. We look forward to purchasing more from the farm in the future! Just finished my Best of the Northwest Package. Perfect size and variety, and so good! Love that all of the products are locally sourced. You can taste the difference. I couldn't pick a favorite because it is all so yummy!❤️

We get our eggs, pork, turkey, chicken, honey, and random veggies here, and everything we have gotten is delicious! Our quarter pig was some of the best I've ever had, and we are thrilled that they are being raised in a sustainable humane way. There is simply no comparison to mass produced meat and eggs. We are so lucky that we live close to the farm!

I'm very pleased with the tasty seafood sampler I ordered from Hungry Hollow Farm, which has a partnership with The Harbor Fish Company in Juneau, Alaska. My scheduled order was dispatched from Gig Harbor, Pierce County, to my home in South King County right on time. I'm very happy with how speedy and efficient home delivery was. My order arrived still frozen and was packed in a classy and attractive reusable insulated bag with "The Hungry Hollow" logo on the side. The price of my order was very affordable, with competitive pricing when compared to other similar companies. I'll be ordering from them again.

Our first pick up of our chickens share today and already we love this generational farm and their wonderful food system where their animals live on lush pastures and are treated and cared for the way nature intended. I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional pork we've received from Grant and his family at Hungry Hollow Farm. The quality has been nothing short of extraordinary, and our family has thoroughly enjoyed every bite. It is hard to describe the difference in taste. It is something that must be experienced. It's evident that a lot of care and dedication goes into raising and preparing such high-quality pork, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience so far. We also have an order in for chickens, and we're looking forward to trying them. If the chickens are anything like the pork, we know we're in for a real treat.

We’ve ordered whole chickens, beef and pork shares, and other individual items from Hungry Hollow over the last year+. We couldn’t be happier with the flavor, quality and variety of cuts. We love supporting local farmers and Hungry Hollow is very convenient to our home and their pick-up at the farm couldn’t be easier! They have your order bagged up in a reusable insulated bag in one of their freezers and you just drive up on the scheduled pick up date and grab your order! Grant and family have been just lovely when we’ve picked up our orders. We were driving to Olympia to purchase meat at the farmers market, but enjoy a shorter drive for great quality pasture raised meat from Hungry Hollow. I can’t recommend them enough! Local farmers that take great care of their land and animals, which support our health and nutrition, are so deserving of our support!
