The French fries are good, the beet salad, add shrimp is outstanding, love the goat cheese, the gyro is not the best I have had, but I would give it a solid 6/10. Prices are a little higher than some salad/sandwich places for lunch, but the service was great.

Hungry’s is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to! From the moment we walked in, the experience was fantastic. The atmosphere is so aesthetically pleasing — modern, clean, and inviting. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for a casual lunch, a cute brunch date, or even just a solo meal when you want something fresh and satisfying. The customer service was great — warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. You could tell they care about their guests having a good experience. The food was fresh and flavorful, with plenty of great options to choose from. I ordered a salad, and while I personally didn’t love the chicken on it (just a texture/taste thing for me), everything else was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were high-quality, well-prepared, and the presentation was beautiful. Even though that one element didn’t hit for me, the rest of the meal more than made up for it. I left full, happy, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

Had a wonderful experience at lunch today with my 5 year old. Or server Andrees was a delight and very attentive. We sat outside in their lovely patio and it was not very crowded and no music so we could hear each other. My son enjoyed the kids pepperoni pizza, it was well made. We will definitely be back!

Indoor and outdoor seating. Bar available. I had thr anaheim chili grilled chicken, and it was good. While friendly, my server never checked on my after mummy meal was delivered. I didn't see him until I had asked someone for the check.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience truly compelled me to share. This place earned every one of its five stars! The food is absolutely amazing – especially the incredible Ahi Tuna appetizer. And the Harvest pizza (topped with smoked salmon) and burger? Pure deliciousness, and the home made fries!!! Beyond the fantastic food, the atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully lit. Plus, the wonderful staff, especially Mrs. Rubia (aka Rubie), provided exceptional service.

We ordered the seasonal salad and the falafel bowl, and honestly, both were exceptional. But the seasonal salad completely stole the show. Hands down, it might be the best salad I’ve ever had. Everything about it felt intentional and fresh. The mix of avocado and mango was vibrant and refreshing, and I decided to add salmon, which was perfectly cooked and added a lovely richness to the dish. Every bite was balanced and flavorful. It felt like a salad that had been truly thought through, not just tossed together. The falafel bowl was also fantastic: generous portions, well-seasoned falafel, and a great variety of textures and flavors. It was hearty without feeling heavy, and left us feeling full but not sluggish. We grabbed a table outside, and it made for such a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The vibe was casual and the service was just as great. Benjamin, who helped us out, was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Our food came out quickly and with a smile, something I always appreciate. All in all, I’d absolutely go back. The food was fresh and flavorful, the portions satisfying, and the service top-notch. Definitely a new favorite.

Great food. Ingridients taste fresh (some like from the farm!), well prepared dishes. Been many times and never disappointed. Loved the seasonal spiced pear martini. Excellent caring service. Only thing changed - no more snack bar with roasted garlic, etc (loved it!)

This is such a nice restaurant! I visited here today with my Grandson for brunch. Everything was great. We sat outside on the patio & had strawberry momosas.( it's so pretty out there). Got a suntan too. Food & service were perfect. 🥰

We enjoyed trying out a new restaurant today--Hungry's on Woodway. We loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. The vibe was relaxing. My only small wish is that they served real sweet tea. Not with packets--it's just not the same. That little touch would have made the meal absolutely perfect.

As always, I love to review ONLY those establishments that I LIKE!!! I absolutely LOVED HUNGRY's in Rice Village in Houston, Texas. Perfect seating, ambiance was relaxing both inside and outside. Izzy, my server, was amazingly vigilant over my table and the manager, Emmanuel, was the same and so personable. Food reasonably affordable and presentation is 5 star worthy ($$), cloth napkins, easy parking lot or valet, portions can fill up a large teenaged boy. I went at brunch and seating was plentiful and quick. VIRGILIO APPROVED!

Good food and at 3pm on Saturday , empty. Ate about half the salad , too big, but had a nice cup of tomato basil soup to start Nice to have a Hungrys close

The new Hungry's location is arguably there best yet. The decor and ambiance present a cozy and warm vibe with modern elements seen through out. Whether you are hosting a cooperate event or spending time with friends and family, Hungry's will live up to the occasion. While the restaurant continues to evolve, the patio is turning into a spot I can see myself using frequently. The key is managing Houston's unpredictable climate. I've seen a few harsh reviews suggesting poor service experiences. For those I say, several of the service staff are young professionals with a mix of seasoned elites. If your expectations are not being met I encourage you to voice your concerns to management. Allow them the opportunity to make it right. If that fails then by all means voice your concern or opinion. That goes for any establishment. Gerald, is a creative and talented bartender. I would encourage all bartending staff to listen to his expertise. The Smoky Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini are the best. I also recommend the Spicy Pineapple Margarita and other House Infused mixed drinks. Antonio, Edgar, Mateo and Genesis deserve special recognition for their consistent well received service. They always go above and beyond to exceed expectations. My personal favorites are as follows Food *Hummus *Brussel sprouts *Crispy chicken dinner is a must *Crispy chicken sandwich *Chicken kabobs *Mushroom, pepperoni pizza with cauliflower crust *Margarita pizza Negatives: They HAD the absolute best house made fries. While the current version tastes fine the originals set the restaurant apart. For that reason I would consider the fingerling potatoes as an alternative.

"Second year in a row that we've catered our Thanksgiving lunch at work from Hungry's--and it's amazing! I'm not usually a fan of traditional Thanksgiving food, but theirs is delicious. Deysi in catering is wonderful as well--prompt, responsive, and great with suggestions!"

Thirsty?s - that should be a better name. Or perhaps Grumpy's. Pluses 1. Big outdoor patio and easy free parking, casual rustic ambiance. Areas to improve 1. Service sucks - our server was Legacy and she took our order and did not return. I flagged two different servers to get more ice tea and our check and nothing happened. I then grabbed my two empty teas and flagged the hostess through the open window in the patio who then asked the bartender to bring us ice teas. Then, voila Legacy came back with our bill. We were very thirsty the entire time because it was very hot outside despite ceiling fans on. And grumpy we both felt... 2. His kabob meal listed veggies but didn't specify broccoli, which he hates. 3. My gyro plate was very salty and dry, do not recommend. 4. Music was loud and weird Tax and tip over $60 for brunch, expensive and the most lousy, inattentive service I have had at any establishment in Houston. Not recommended. Remember you will stay Thirsty! And perhaps Grumpy's when you leave.

Great brunch with large portions. I love their lentil soup. I could eat it every day. I have had just about everything on their menu except the plant based bowls. Everything has great flavor and is delicious. My one critique is the kabobs. Mine were well done and tough. Probably a good idea for me to specify how I want it cooked, but I wasn't asked so I didn't know I had a choice. I will do that next time. I mean no restaurant gets everything right 100% of the time. I sit at the bar to eat and Stephanie is the best! The entire staff is great. Also, for the amount of food you get the prices are pretty reasonable. When they go up, which I'm guessing they will, as I understand they are getting a new menu, it may finally be the impetus for me to eat at home! One more thing...their cauliflower crust pizza-you truly cannot tell it's not regular crust. Just typing this is making me HUNGRY and I may just have to go again today, making it 2 days in a row,

We decided to celebrate our friend birthday here for brunch. We decided to sit outside since the weather was a bit cool and so that we could have a bit of privacy since it was a party of 11 of us. Our waitress Ruby U. Was absolutely amazing. So take care all of us by herself. Anything we needed she was prompt to accommodate. I had the beet juice and an egg sandwich. The food was delicious! The service was amazing and the restaurant was very nice and clean. Plenty of parking and great food options.

Been going to Hungry's for over 20 yrs including Memorial location. Very good, always clean. And Local. It's the whole package. You should go.

Love Hungry's! I've been coming to this family-owned establishment for way more than 20 years! And I'm glad to see this location replace what used to be my beloved Le Peep (don't knock it til you try the waffles!). Their menu is filled with delicious, healthy dishes. Staff has always been very nice. Casual lunch or dinner spot!

We've waited so long for this location to open. We were well greeted when we walked in and when we sat down. Food was good, although I recall a Hawaiian chicken that I loved and is no longer on the menu. The service however was very disappointing. The waiter did well to attend to us upon until he took our order. After our food was delivered, he disappeared - literally. We ran out of water. I wanted to place a to-go order and never saw him. I had to look to the hostess - who was laughing and (actually) dancing with another waiter. We were one of two tables in the entire restaurant and yet our waiter was yet to be found. I asked her for help - she immediately offered to find our waiter and came back to tell me she couldn't find him but would try to help. He finally returned and we concluded our transaction. In the end, we were better off across the street at Island Grill, which had been a long time neighborhood favorite with wonderful service and exact type of food (and not the same level of tip required)

Quick service, reliable, on top of their game. No exotic or exceptional dishes stand out - normally have one of their salads or grilled chicken dishes. Reasonably quiet ambiance, so decent for quick business lunches.

It's everything for Woodway Dr Full Bar and staff just awesome! The patio amazing! It's so nice to have a place so close!

Service was terrible. Waitress was nice though. Super behind on refilling coffee tea and water. Cheddar bacon omelette was thin and tasteless . Could barely see any cheese or bacon. We went to Sunday brunch after church. Only good comment- my sister liked the shirt stack pancakes and coffee.

Restaurant was a little warm. Nice place to meet for a business lunch. Inside and outside seating available. Appetizer Brussels sprouts as an were pretty good. I had the honey glazed salmon- it came with veggies and rice. Portion was gracious. It was average. My colleague had the fried chicken dish, I tasted it and it was average. Excellent beverage offerings. The service was above average, thank you James! Overall had a wonderful time and will return again!

Still the delicious Hungry's that I've loved for years as a Houstonian. The strawberry lemonade is still the best lemonade in town, I do think they have upgraded the garnish though. The Gyro plate was better and bigger than remembered, couldn't finish it all. My husband liked his chicken sandwich but did say it could have had another piece of cheese on it. He thought the ciabatta bread and the chicken were excellent. Service was good, attentive and quick. They really upgraded and elevated the space from what it looked like before. I particularly appreciate how much more natural light is coming into the space.

Me and some friends came into town for a visit and we stopped into Hungrys for snacks and a cocktail. The food was really good the and service was outstanding! Matteo was fast and friendly and made sure to ask about any allergies, which was good because someone at our table did have food sensitivities. I can highly recommend the crab cakes and the ceviche!

I dined at this new Hungry's restaurant the past weekend. The service was good, and the food was delicious. My lemon pasta had a strong lemon flavor, and the shrimp were excellent. However, the Gyro Lamb was slightly dry, but our two friends loved their salmon and grilled chicken. The highlight of the meal was the crispy Brussels sprouts. However, it could be less burned. We ended dinner on a high note with delicious desserts. I loved the moisture carrot cake, while our guest enjoyed the pudding with ice cream. Worth to note, this restaurant is next to a senior center. So the layout and floor is very easy access by wheelchair dinners. The quality of food and service has been consistently good across all three Hungry's locations. However, I personally prefer the atmosphere at the Rice Boulevard location.

Ah! This plate was delicious! The vibe was nice and the service was great. Four stars bc I did not like the taste of the water. Cute presentation with the lemon wedge though.

We came to hungrys this morning and absolutely loved the food so much! The service we received from the two brothers Mateo and Jay was exceptional and I love that you guys incorporated family!!! We will definitely come back

Enjoyed a wonderful evening yesterday with friends. The goat cheese appetizer was great and enjoyed by everyone. We,also, tried the crab cakes, kebabs and honey ginger salmon. Everything tasted great and the service by Antonio was excellent. I highly recommend Hungry's on Woodway .

We love this new addition to our neighborhood restaurants. The food is excellent and fresh, and they have many healthy options. The service is also fantastic!

I just ordered DoorDash from Hungary's on Woodway. So very disappointing in every way we ordered chicken tenders., tomato soup, and what was supposed to be a wedge salad. I literally have never tasted anything so bad in all the years we've been ordering food. .. who is your chef and do they taste the food? The soup had absolutely no flavor whatsoever, the WEDGE salad had the most awful green goddess spicy dressing that resembled nothing like wedge salad. The lettuce was not fresh. Somebody needs to understand how to make good food there.. the chicken tenders were a pre-fabricated chicken rubber with a crust that nobody in town whatso ever would serve ! absolutely flavorless again and even the complementary cookie at the end was an edible cookie and that's hard to do. Not sure what audience you were trying to play to, but something needs to improve to even get most of the people I know to even walk through your door.. The manager should be fired for serving food that taste like this in the neighborhood that it's in . It was not cheap and we threw it all in the garbage. Lesson learned! Never order or eat again atHungary's at Woodway. I have never written a food review or any review online ever, but I felt that I absolutely had to write this one totally the worst ever.!

Came back again and got Mateo again as a waiter and he was super good per usual. His recommendations were great aswell!

I understand Hungary's has been around for sometime, however my first time. I donot understand the logic of not having Salt, Pepper, Sugar & sweeteners preloaded on the table in a breakfast, salads, Burger place! Why do I have to catch a server & ask to each one by name, & then wait for them to be delivered? They have a full service bar! I wish them well! I won't be back! Prices are high, food quality isn't!!

Tbh it feels overhyped? The food is standard fare, nothing to write home about personally. Feels a little overpriced and atmosphere is a bit pretentious

I highly recommend dining at the new Woodway location, the vibe is super chill and relaxing, the food is delicious, I had the beef tenderloin salad and so good! A shout out to Mateo who was extremely professional, polite and attentive helping our group of friends not feel rushed at all!! such a fun place to spend time together.

Loved my Dinner at Hungry's! Just had an awesome meal at Hungry's, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and the place had a really cool, chill, vibe. The menu has something for everyone, and the food was spot on! I had the Kabob Plate and the Cashew Queso and it was super tasty--fresh and flavorful! Plus, the portions were great, definitely didn't leave hungry ;) Our server was also really chill and helpful...if you're looking for a place with good food, great service, and a fun atmosphere, you gotta check out Hungry's. I'll definitely be back!

James provided excellent service. The food is very fresh and delicious. The decor is attractive.

We live nearby and have been going here frequently. The weather has been nice to sit outside on the patio for dinner and we bring our small dog. The staff has been friendly. Jay and Mateo have taken good care of us recently. Darius also swings by to ask how everything is. Starting to bring my friends here. Love that they offer some specialty cocktails! Some foods are a little on the spicy side but I think there's something for everyone on the menu to enjoy. If you don't find it the first time, go back and try another dish.. They just introduced a delicious seasonal menu in addition to the main menu. Remember this place is newly opened so I'd give it a little time to get things sorted.

I had lunch in this restaurant today for the first time ever. The Food was stellar. I had the Tenderloin Salad, which was one of the best salad's I have ever eaten. My server, JAMES had recently started working there and he treated me with utmost courtesy and care. The restaurant atmosphere is quiet and casual. I loved it and I will go back very soon. My lunch was less than $20 before the generous tip I added, and I had leftovers that I took home for supper.

everything was amazing. servers were respectful and polite and the wait was not long at all. about 15 minutes after ordering. the food was great! not too heavy which was really nice as a person with a sensitive stomach. it also had amazing ambiance!! i will be coming back!!
