Everything’s perfect! The food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere was inviting. Spiced Lentil Soup 5/5 Tasty would order it again Brussels sprouts 3/5 Oily Kebab Plate 5/5 We got the combo and both chicken and beef were tender and great! I also love the green pea rice and the side vegetables, very healthy yet tasty! Chicken Fried Chicken 5/5 The chicken was so juicy and the mushroom sauce was so yummy. The garlic bread toast was so good too!

I'm a frequent visitor to the area and this is my favorite place to have dinner. I found it the first time when I was looking for vegan options while also having other options for my husband. The meals are fresh and delicious. Great portions too. Be sure to check it out

First time coming here and I was surprised I hadn't been here before considering it's right down the street from my house. I've always heard great things about this place and was not disappointed. My wife ordered a hamburger and my friend ordered pizzas with a beer on the side. The pizzas were wood-fired and had a nice taste to them. Mine was the pepperoni with wild mushrooms and he had the prosciutto with pineapple, which was actually pretty tasteful. Considering they partner with the establishment next door (HeartBeet), their menu is pretty extensive and it looks very delicious. I will be sure to come back more often.

In general I like Hungrys but there fries are greasy and limp. I like the gyro plate and the hummus. The pita is fluffy and delicious. The veggies and sauces were fresh. They got the order right. The cheese steak was ok but once again those nasty fries.

This is an American food with some Mediterranean food on the menu. Portions are a decent size. A few options for the kids including kids menus with crayons. They even brought out a cup with a lid for the young ones. There was an odd bar with pickled appetizers that no one touched, seemed odd. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Absolutely great tasting food. My friend got a burger and fries and enjoyed both. I had a fusion bowl. The waitress asked if we wanted recommendations. We wanted to hear what's the popular choice. I was asking for vegetarian and vegan options in particular. She then brought me a second menu from the restaurant next door. Since they are both under the same chain you can order from either place to the other. That was absolutely fantastic. Finally more options for vegetarians in social gatherings. Love the concept. The food tasted great. Prices are great too.

Great patio, good food, friendly service at this suburban Memorial outpost of Hungry’s. A little gem in our neck of the woods.

This restaurant is one of our favorites in this area. We often go there on Sundays after mass, because we go to the church next door. Great for brunch and they have a lot of healthy menus. They have egg and salad specialties, ... Their mimosa is also a definite must (different flavors). It's a very popular place, especially for special occasions (birthdays, mother's day, father's day, ...). But they have enough places because you can even sit outside, there is a big bungalow on the exterior.

Food was excellent! I had the chicken fried chicken and was expecting a Texas sized portion for the price. It was small but very tasty. My wife had the salmon and was very pleased with the taste. We had iced teas and 2 cups of coffee with Irish cream. The total bill was 89.98 The waiter was wonderful and not annoying Just the right amount of attention. The decor is tasteful and the noise level was moderate.

We tried Hungry's because we were hungry....badomp bomp!!! The menu here is a bit slender and pricey if you're looking for a simple, affordable fare. We ate here for breakfast and then again for dinner. One of the highlights here is that they appear to be farm to table and have presentation of the food on the plate, nailed. At breakfast, I asked our waitress if there was a meal with egg, bacon and a pancake or waffle. She said there was not. So we ordered the 3 egg plate with bacon, potatoes and fruit. We also ordered the waffle. She came back and asked how we wanted the eggs cooked that come with the waffle??? What? I asked if we don't get the eggs if that would change the price and she said no. I was frustrated at this point! The food arrived and the fruit on both our plates was fresh and delicious. The waffle was ok but was cold. The egg on both of our plates was overcooked. The potatoes were great! I'm sad to say that I failed to take a picture of our food for breakfast. For dinner, we had a rather large party and they were able to accommodate us. I ordered the margarita pizza with pepperoni and regular crust. I also ordered the tuna tartare as an appetizer that never came. The pizza was pretty good. My mom ordered the chicken fried chicken and Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. The Brussels sprouts were WAY overcooked. She liked the chicken fried chicken. Getting our check was another ordeal. We waited almost 30 minutes to get our check. Overall, the food was ok. Wait staff need to learn timing of appetizers, the menu and when help is needed to close out a party. Also, there was a smell of a mop bucket or sewer smell. It was very faint because my mom couldn't smell it, but I have a sensitive sense of smell. Highlights are that the place has a relaxed environment and wasn't too loud or busy. The fruit was fresh and the pizza was good. At this point, eating here twice in a day, I will pass on this place next time.

I met a colleague here for a business lunch. I had been here once before but it had been quite a while ago. I remember not being wowed but I figured I would approach this visit with an open mind. The place is cute with pretty good parking. Service was on par. I opted for the $16 cheese burger and fries, see photo. It was okay. The burger was cooked to a proper medium as requested. However the burger didn't really shine through the tomato onion lettuce and bun. It was there but I could only kind of taste it. The fries left even more to be desired. They seemed fresh cut, but came out kind of soggy and with little flavor. Overall, the experience was fine. Average food at an average price.

Fantastic brunch spot on Memorial Dr. and Dairy Ashford! Service was excellent, quick, and made some great recommendations. Price-point is honestly a-little high, but the casually upscale feel of the restaurant and presentation makes up for it. Patio seating was great, especially on a cool day. The food was really good, lots of flavor, and big portions. I highly recommend the hummus sampler starter!! Perfect spot for a business-friendly brunch spot!

Stopped by for brunch and would never go again. The $8 fries were terrible - limp, cold, bland. The spinach dip was okay but also bland. The margherita pizza had a strange texture. It was very thin but not crispy. The taste was okay but it didn't feel like a pizza. The waffle was cold and squishy. I genuinely rather have a frozen eggo waffle. The whole meal was not good and way overpriced. The ambience was also strange and it kept feeling hot or cold and smelled weird. Do not recommend.

Came here on a Wednesday night with some friends. The food was good. We all really enjoyed the jalapeño hummus, it was delicious. I got the special which was steak with chimichurri sauce on top and a side of potatoes. I really enjoyed my dish however I asked for medium rare & received medium or well done. It was still good but I think I would have enjoyed it better if it was medium rare. The staff was so nice and polite.

We've been going to Hungry's for almost 30 years, and have historically really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. For many years it was our go-to place whenever we wanted a tastey meal at a reasonable price. The last few times we've gone, however, our sense has been that the quality of the food and the dining experience is slipping. We went today for lunch, and found the meat and pita bread to both be dry. The kabob meat looked like it had been roasted in the oven, sat under a heating lamp for a long time, and was then cut and put on skewers; it was pretty bad. The beef was also in rectangular dry chunks, and had no visual appeal at all. I also think that the service is getting worse. Today it was slow, not very friendly, and no one bothered to ask us how our meal was. I was actually prepared to tell them in person how disappointed we were and leave it at that. But since no one even asked us how our meal was (or gave us any attention during our meal for that matter), I decided to leave a review instead. After almost 30 enjoyable years, I'm sad to say that we won't be going back. Local Foods is much closer and far higher quality.

Service was very welcoming and helpful in deciding what we wanted to eat, the food was delicious and plated well. Ambiance and lighting was a perfect contrast to the gloomy rain from outside. The place is nice. There's a vegan style restaurant attached to it which is nice for those who have dietary restrictions. The service was amazing. Super friendly hostess and waiters. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the food. The food was slightly underwhelming. I thought the prices were pretty expensive for brunch/lunch.

We had a group of seven so they sat us at the adjacent location (heartbeat) and the service and space was amazing. My daughter chose it for her 14th birthday because she loves the food and it did not disappoint.

This is a very casual but brunch worthy spot. I love the open concept dining. You can look directly into the kitchen and watch them work. The crowd was mixed, from families, friends, hipsters and girlfriends. The best part is that its connected to a plant based restaurant. Everyone is happy and has their own menu. The food was fresh and portioned appropriately, and was above average. Was I wowed not really but I would go back. Our service was excellent from start to end. You can eat off the plant based menu and not feel guilty.

Ordered the Grateful/Fusion bowl and it was mainly rice. There was hardly any brussels sprouts or butternut squash or beans. It was just a bowl of rice and we were so disappointed. So what was the bowling rice for $16?

We went to lunch at the recommendation of a co-worker. The food is so mediocre, I ordered the crab cake and I couldn't taste any crab, and worse, it's fried and and has a thick crumb. I also shared my coworker's Harvest Pizza and it's not good either. Service is good, the waitress was very prompt with taking our orders and bringing out the drinks. For the price and the quality of the food, I would not recommend this place.

I wanted so badly to enjoy this location as I generally enjoy the Rice Village location. Poor service, terrible food, and a restaurant in poor repair(fireplace doesn't work). This was an awful experience for a birthday for my grandmother and this place is a disgrace to the Hungry's brand. It was a sad and pathetic dinner.

Went for brunch and food was good. I had the gyro and it was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Everyone thought their food was good, but not great. Service was very good so that bumped it up from 3 stars to 4.

We ordered meatloaf & a burger. The meatloaf came w/ mashed potatoes & they can w/ a sauce. I asked to any sauce options that were not spicy & I was told the only choice I had was feta ranch. I opted for no sauce & was offered fries, instead. Idk if the mashed potatoes are premade w/ the sauce or what. Then my husband ordered the classic cheddar burger w/o tomatoes or mayo. When it came it not o my had tomatoes, but avocado was added. He doesn't eat avocado. For the price, the very least they can do it make the burger as ordered. The bathrooms are a horror story. The men's room floor was wet/slippery. The Women's bathroom needed to be cleaned. Also, there is no AC or music in that area, so it's a very uncomfortable situation.

First time trying hungry's and the food was wonderful plus the waiters are highly attentive ambiance was amazing as well.

I enjoyed the chicken Baja wrap along with the wedge it came with. I've eaten here several times and I've never been dissatisfied. I've had their vegan cookie with ice cream on top and it was so yummy. They have a nice varied menu. The prices are a bit high but service is always good. Parking can be tight.

Ordered the grill chicken and vegetables. My chicken tasted as if it was microwave or boiling in water. It also had the "fake grill marks" just so they can call it grilled. It was basically like a subway chicken patty. I spent 80 bucks on lunch and it was absolutely horrible

Have experienced food poisoning from bad salmon not once but 5 times in the past year and one half. I do not recommend what used to be a great place to dine.

Yes to the food, yes to the service, yes to the ambiance!!! ALL the yesssess!!! And we hit it on Wine-down Wednesday half-off bottle of wine. Perfect timing in my opinion. Ate the vegan tomato basil soup, yummy.....and the cauliflower steak with vegan chimichurri , extra yummy! Highly recommend. They are joined with Hearty Beets next door, a totally cool vegan place too.

Not as good as the Rice Village location. I didn't know I was in the matrix because of the service was slow mo. Not to be a brat what is a previous server is the goal to expect and meet the needs of the costumer, I should not have to ask for utensils or a refill or the check. The raspberry lemonade was phenomenal. But that was about it the chicken and waffles is underwhelming. I remembered the migas being a lot better than were. Disappointing for a birthday brunch, but now I know where not to go.

The restaurant is spacious and love the outdoor patio! Staff was pretty good! I had an issue with my penne(came out lukewarm) but they remade my dish and one of the mangers came out to make sure everything was ok. The spicy pineapple margarita definitely had a kick to it! Im not complaining at all! The penne was really flavorful- pleasant surprise. I heard they have good brunch, so i need to try that out!

DELICIOUS!!!! Such an extensive menu that anybody could find anything to eat off of it. The spinach artichoke dip is amazing, and would definitely recommend that as the Appetizer. The crispy chicken sandwich is delicious and the chipotle aïoli slaw on it is what sets it apart, and the fries that come with it are delicious! The drinks are great, and everyone said the cocktails are delicious! , and the waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The ambience of the restaurant is great for any time of day. It would be very cute at dinner time.

A resounding 5 stars, and here's why: This review is as hot off the press as can be, as I just put my fork down from finishing my leftovers from my last visit. Background: my family catered meals from Hungry's when I was younger, so perhaps I took it for granted. It wasn't until I moved into the neighborhood last year that I started driving by this Hungry's, and every time, I'd make a mental note to give it another try. This exercise went on for a year, until just a few weeks ago. Impromptu lunch date, and we were trying to decide where to go. "Hey, we've been meaning to try Hungry's!" So we pull up, it's barely 11 am, and we're seated right away. What a pleasant surprise to be handed a regular menu as well as a vegan menu from their sister restaurant next door, Heartbeet. [Side bar to note what a cute and clever name that is for a vegan restaurant]. We've been trying to eat more plant-based, and that menu is awesome! I immediately knew that I'd have to try everything on there. Fast forward about 3 weeks, and we've been 4 or 5 times already. We've ordered from the regular and vegan menus, and nothing has disappointed us. My favorites so far have been the crispy eggplant tacos, nutritious bowl, fusion bowl, and curry bowl. And oh my goodness the vegan burger and sweet potato fries were among the best things I've ever tasted. They're all good-sized portions, and I've made 2 meals from each. Non-vegan options were equally good. The burger, gyro, pizzas: all delicious! It gets pretty busy at lunch, probably from the Energy Corridor crowd, so come early or prepare to be there a bit. The only thing that would make me love it even more would be to have nutritional facts for the menu items. As it is, my efforts to track my meals get a little wonky, but it's totally worth it!

Love this location! I'd only been to Rice Village. Gabriel gave us great service! 3 of us ordered the taco plates. 2 shrimp plates and one beef plate. One of us ordered a breaded chicken plate and it was all delicious. Very good wine list. We loved the poinsettias. Very festive!

Food was great. I can't Remember what was the name of my food Maybe a power bowl? but it had brown rice, black beans, pico de gallo, sweet potatoes or butternut squash, fried beets patties, avocado, quinoa, jalepeno and added a protein / salmon for an additional $5-6.....? Service was a bit slow; we either had a new waiter just started working or a big group, but we will be back to try out other food items!

Was trying to find a healthy place for me and something my boyfriend would like and I stumbled upon this place. So we decided to go check it out. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the wait staff was very friendly and seated us quickly. It was great weather so we decided to sit outside. There was people there but it wasn't loud so you were still able to speak with the person you came with without having to yell. I ordered the wrap and my boyfriend the Chicken-Fried Chicken. It was delicious! Mine was filling but yet light and his was just amazing! I almost wanted to trade plates with him! We also ordered the homemade hummus and we left that plate looking clean! I definitely recommend! Everything about this place was just right!

We had a lunch catered last week and it was fantastic! Sandwich trays with beef tenderloin wraps, ham and cheese and turkey and cheese. Victor was a pleasure to work with! We will be ordering from here from now on! Thank you.

We came here for lunch! This was a very good decision! I ordered the salmon avocado toast. It came with cucumber salad (which is was sold me in this one) and potatoes. Everything was amazing!!

We ordered a delivered lunch from Hungry's Memorial Drive location costing $33 as we often have for the first time in a couple of months. The feta jalapeño dressing on the wedge salads seemed to have little feta or jalapeño in it and there were no longer bacon bits, and very little tomato and cucumber, just a giant wedge of iceberg lettuce. Bland, bland, bland. My husband also said the Mediterranean wrap that came with his salad did not taste as usual either, particularly the tzatziki dressing on it.

The food was good. It was warm inside and after a glass of wine I was sweating. They left a carafe of water but no ice!! We had to pay for extra pita bread for our appetizer. My meal was good. One person at my table had the bon mai and said it wasn't authentic enough. We loved the baked brie!

Sat at a table outside, waited 10 minutes, no one came out to take our order. Went inside to find the hostess and ask for someone to come out. Plenty of staff standing in groups talking. Eventually someone came out and took a drink order. Waited again and left. Mismanaged.

The food was absolutely delicious, although overpriced. We were a party of seven and were told we had to leave, they needed our table for another large party. We hadn't received our bills. One of our party was in the middle of opening gifts. The restaurant was not full. We were told twice by two different managers that we had to leave. Our young waiter was indifferent and rarely seen. While the food is very good, Houston is a city of good restaurants. I'd rather go somewhere where my business is appreciated and I can receive good service.

Came here for lunch with some girlfriends on July 4. We made a reservation, and good thing we did bc as we dined, it got busier and busier. Our waitress was very nice and patient. I was the first to arrive and the rest of my group was late...the latest being 30 min late...but she was so patient with us. The food here is American/Mediterranean. Huge portions, healthy combos, and tasty. I got the gyro platter which is like a deconstructed gyro. Not a huge fan of the jalapeño hummus (plain is the way to go), but the fries were awesome and the salad. The meat didn't have a lot of flavor to me though so the yogurt sauce helped it a lot. They have great mimosa options - I got the fresh squeezed OJ.

I really enjoy their shrimp ceviche dish - so fresh, crunchy and flavorful. A great app or a meal. Their hand cut fries and gyro is enjoyable too. They do love cucumber there...seems to find its way into a lot. LOL I've not tried brunch or dessert as I'm always so stuffed. Hopefully one day. My boyfriend says the burger is amazing and most sandwiches are there too.

Had an amazing experience at Hungry's. The ambiance is great , the staff was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a great brunch ordered Kabob, Margherita Pizza and couple of salads. Enjoyed every bite of it. Amazing dressing for salads. It was our first time in this location and our server was very helpful, manager came in to ensure about the service after our food came. Will definitely return with more parties.

Baked goat cheese was well cooked and had a great taste. The lemon pasta was a bit too zesty but still good. The shrimp was just delicious! The Anaheim Chile Chicken had great presentation but I expected a spicier dish. The chicken was good though. Seating was immediate on a Friday night and food came out quick.

Came here after several years for lunch on a weekday. Plenty of parking available in the back. The restaurant was packed with office crowd, telling you how good it is. I got the Falafel bowl and it was delicious. Nice ambiance & plenty of vegan/vege options. Will be back!

I came here for dinner one night after work & loved the place! I went upstairs & Tony was my bartender and he was super friendly and took great care of me. I'll be recommending this place to friends for sure. Definitely recommend the pepperoni and mushroom pizza & the cocktails. Both are so yummy & the veggies were super fresh.

+The vibe is relaxed and casual. + the lunch crowd is in and out, didn't wait long for a table + the fire roasted Brussels sprout appetizer was great + tomato basil soup was delicious + the helpful attitude with the staff - the lemon pasta with shrimp was flavorful, but a needed a little more sauce imo and the shrimp was a little over cooked (not juicy) and small. - there was a slight language barrier with our server. Of course, I don't think it had anything to do with the meal... but there was small difficulties in understanding her. - the kabob plate skewers had excellent seasoning but was over cooked (medium well when we requested medium rare). The herb basmati rice was over cooked (dry and not moist). Overall, the experience wasn't BAD, but failed to reach my expectations. IMO the experience I enjoyed here in 2019 was better. I give it 2.5 stars.
