Google
My fiance brought me here because he stumbled upon it and LOVED how awesome it was. And I completely agree. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The have beer, Florida Seltzers and CBD water to choose from while your browse the vast record selection. They not only allow dogs, but welcome them with open arms. We were lucky to find some of the more obscure records he was looking for. And overall, we are excited to go back again and see what other fun gems they have.

What a cool place I walked in and they’re playing Duane Allman album. A chill place to hang out and have a beer on tap if you’re lucky with the owner serving it up. . Maybe my new fav bar

Great selection of used and new vinyl. They have a cool lounge and bar area to hang out and enjoy a beverage. It's in one of the coolest new places in Raleigh.

Nothing but good things to say following my first visit to Hunky Dory. For starters, the vibe and atmosphere is unmatched. I could genuinely get lost in this place forever. I personally came to shop for some new vinyl records and found some really neat ones. They were a great price for what I was getting. The worker on duty, Alayna was so pleasant and seemed like she enjoyed her job. She also included some plastic covers for my records after overhearing that I would need some with my new additions. I will definitely be shopping here again and I recommend anyone else to do the same.

Had a great time flipping through the records here! I found a great copy of T.Rex's "Tanx!" If we didn't have to make our flight, I would have liked to enjoy a beverage and listen to more Parliament!

Again a hidden gem in plain sight. I stumbled upon this vault of vinyl and beer on a recommendation. The vinyl (and cassettes too!) is awesome from new to vintage. But the beer experience was second to none. The bartender was welcoming and poured a great pint. The music sounded great and we just enjoyed what they were playing. I don’t know if we can make requests, but it doesn’t matter. We will definitely be back. I’m sure once the construction is finished it will be hopping.

Google
Awesome selection of new and used records, and to make it even better - a bar! Even if you aren't looking for new music, this shop is great to just come by and hang - they have 10+ rotating local beers on tap and the bartenders usually have on GREAT music. Plus, super dog friendly - it was our boy Nigel's favorite spot to chill.

Google
A Raleigh gem! Great vinyl, beer, and atmosphere. There’s also a cool little smoke shop in the back. The staff is friendly and personable! 10/10 will be coming back!

Yelp
Not sure how this little spot has never popped up on social media, but head over to Seaboard Station (if it's still called that) to visit. It's in the spot where Brew previously was located. It's basically a record store with beer available. Sip a drink while looking for your next vinyl record. The vibe is funky and casual, and they had a decent selection of craft beer. The employee/bartender was very sociable and friendly, happy to chat with my friends and me.

Yelp
Excellent record selection. I bought a whole bunch of classical records in the back area that my students will love. The sales guy was really nice and they have an amazing tote bag that I love. What a vibe.

Yelp
Cheers to Hunky Dory! Such a great record shop + beer spot! We love coming here and browsing the racks. They'll also buy vinyl from you, if you have anything good and are downsizing your collection. You can just hang out and have a beer. Shop. It's such a great little gem in Seaboard Station.

Yelp
Saw this place on Instagram, and thought it looked like a cool place to stop in with my daughter, who recently became quite the fan of Vinyls. Though I didn't try any of the beverages, I do like that they offer beer and other non alcoholic drinks while your browse the selections. I found several things that I liked, and even some that I was unfamiliar with, but purchased anyway because they were a good deal. They have a large selection of bargain priced items in the hallway, and also the back area. The lady working was very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Overall I think this is a very cool place, and I believe it will do extremely well.

Yelp
Great find with some gems if you do a little digging. Also great beverage options while you browse. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Records are mostly overpriced, although there is a decent selection of used records for a dollar or so per record.
