Absolutely loved this place! Went for a birthday, but even on a regular day, they really know how to make the entire experience an unforgettable one and make you feel special. Food is amazing, service is elite, and the atmosphere will leave a lasting impression on you long after you've finished your dessert!

decent steakhouse but having gone to so many, i’m not easily impressed and this did the job but wasn’t anything super special if that makes sense. sides were all decent and so was the steak really cool decor inside. their rosemary poppers was probably the best thing in my opinion 🤣

Me and a friend who went for my birthday dinner and it was awesome the food was seasoned to perfection. We basically had a menu tasting and it was all amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion or just a nice dinner. Service was excellent and very attentive.ans by all means tip your server!!!

Great meal and service from Rosa. We got two steaks and tried the port wine and peppercorn sauces. Then for sides we got mashed potatoes and bacon Brussels sprouts. Then for dessert we got espresso martinis.

We got the crab cake and octopus for appetizers and for mains we got the steak and salmon dish to eat. We had a good time and enjoyed the food

So the whole restaurant was very fancy. My Assistant recommended this restaurant and she did not disappoint me. Food was very good, drinks were good. I had to wait to be seated although I was on time for my reservation. But the reason for 3 stars is because I got over charged. My bill was not in the $300’s I only came with my 4 year old and myself . They charged me more than my bill was and I never experienced this before. How is this even possible. I did not authorize the amount charged on my card. I authorized my bill + a tip and STILL got charged more than my bill actually was. Disputing with my bank obviously takes a while because I made this purchase but was charged an Incorrect amount. Why do I have to put my guard up with your restaurant when paying with a card ???

July 2023: Enjoyed a delicious dinner before we saw a Broadway show. We were here for restaurant week where we got a prix fixe dinner for $60. Quite a good deal! I started out with a draft beer, Almost Famous, from Torch and Crown. 👍 For my starter, I had the sesame crusted tuna with crackers. This was tasty. For my main, I had the miso salmon on a bed of edamame 🫛 mash. The fish 🐠 was cooked perfectly. Got a nice sear on one side. For my dessert, I had the shortcake with lemon ice cream. This was a great way to end the meal! The restaurant is elegant. Service was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back again for more delicious food!

Had dinner with 4 business associates at H&FC in NYC and whilst the ambience was great and the food was to a high standard the service was terrible. We had been sat at our table for over an hour before we got our food. Also the prices were too high with a side of vegetables costing $16. We were not drinking much and only had 2 courses and the bill was $935 before tip. Not that I gave a very big tip as the service didn't deserve one.

A+ service and attentiveness. Food was really tasty! We dined here after a matinee with my husband, brother, friend and my husband's mom, sister and grandma. His grandma has a bit of a hard time getting around and the host staff kept asking if there was anything they could do to make us more comfortable. They helped us locate the handicap entrance as well to ensure she got inside comfortably. This is one of the most accommodating places I've been to! Now onto the food! The starter bread (Yorkshire pudding) was fluffy, warm and great for picking up sauce! The HCF was really tasty and has a nice pinch to it (vinegar). We also tried the shrimp in vodka sauce, crab cake, and shrimp cocktail! All were delicious, but if I had to be picky the crab cake could have been more flavorful. For entrees, we tried the swordfish, scallops, ribeye, filet, ny steak, and pork chop. Everything was excellent, with the exception of the ribeye being a bit tough. All of the sides were excellent. We tried the broccoli, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, asparagus, fries, and crispy lemon potatoes. The mac and cheese and brocolli were standouts

H&F was an overall decent experience. It's smack down in the middle of zero parking so be prepared to pay for parking. I paid $35 for 4-5hrs. They offer complimentary coat check which is cool. Food: ehhh, it was alright. The bread, creamy spinach and mash potatoes were delicious. My ribeye tasted regular. Nothing memorable nor finger licking good. Most of the meals range between $25-100. Drinks: Drinks were great. A little expensive but what do you expect dining in Manhattan. I would recommend this place if you're open to exploring new experiences.

I was really excited to come here for my birthday but I'm not sure if I will return. The food was amazing BUT the service was not the best. From the host to the waiter they were very standoffish and rude. Because of that I took away two stars.

So this place was a bit disappointing for me. We sat down and the waiter immediately had an attitude with us. I'm not sure why or what the issue was but even when trying to lighten up the mood, he just wasn't having it. Not friendly at all. After complaining amongst ourselves about the rudeness, we were served by another waitress who was actually really great. This was around the time we received our entrees. She was great and I really wish I remembered her name because she saved my friends birthday dinner. We came here for my friend's birthday dinner and mainly came for the steak. I ordered the filet mignon and asked for it to be cooked medium from the first waiter. As you can see from the picture posted, it was pretty close to well done for me, which I frankly don't enjoy especially from that cut of steak. Not sure if it was an assumption made about me or if the restaurant genuinely thought that this level was medium, but it felt like a waste for a 50$ cut of meat with know sides. Very disappointing. The bartenders were the gem of the restaurant and made us perfectly balanced cocktails. They and the last waitress are the reason why I'm giving this place a 2 and not a 1. But the food wasn't incredible. The mashed potato's were pretty god, but felt like I was eating a tub a butter more than anything. Expected a little more from this restaurant especially at that price point.

Everything we ordered tasted delish. Shared a lot of dishes, the Truffle Tater Tots is a must! I ordered the burnt lemon chicken which was tender and very flavorful.

Really great experience. Visited while on vacation with friends, staff were very welcoming and friendly, our waiter was the best! The popovers are so good, I had the carpaccio and it was also great. My steak was delicious and the wine recommendation was on point. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful restaurant! I felt transported to another dimension coming in from the crowded streets of the theater district to this haven. So refined and elegant without being haughty. The food was to die for, and our server was so friendly and knowledgeable. A top notch experience! I'm going back Wednesday for the live entertainment in their underground cabaret!

My boyfriend took me back here for my birthday because I've been telling about how much I wanted to come back . Service was amazing . I ordered the filet mignon & half stuffed lobster tail . My boyfriend ordered the NY strip & we ordered a side of mashed potatoes . Food was good, but the lobster tail didn't taste like last time but it was still good .

Really enjoyed our waitress -- she was very chatty and friendly! Very cool, upscale vibes but a little sad to see that it wasn't busy at 7pm on a Friday. Participated in Restaurant Week menu so we had the tuna and stuffed mushrooms, beef tornadoes and salmon, and the blueberry shortcake. All the food was delish and the kitchen sent out complimentary asparagus and mashed potatoes. My fav thing was actually the popovers -- so yummy!

I ordered the $74 kosher ribeye and it was mediocre at best. Bland and slightly chewy. I would expect way more for this price. I am stunned that this place somehow got the reviews it did

It was my Birthday dinner and i was more then Happy , this restaurant is was people who want to just eat and take in life. The drinks was great the pasta was so yummy so so yummy. They have the best bread and butter . The restaurant is very gorgeous when u walk in the door and the service is good it was a good birthday dinner

Came here for a birthday, left here pretty disappointed with the food at the price point. We were served complimentary bread and butter. This was absolutely delicious. The bread was warm, had cheese and the butter was made with herbs. 9/10. I ordered the Lobster Bisque for $19. Portion was fine, just like a normal soup. But the Bisque was too watery, tasted more like a full on pumpkin bisque. Was pretty disappointed. 3/10. Lemon crispy potatoes as a side. $18. This was very yummy! Great and aromatic flavouring, good texture. 8.5/10. For my mains, I got the Seared Scallops. I feel like it's very hard to mess up scallops. This overall was a decent dish, I just thought the purée was too sweet for my liking. This is personal preference though. The big con is that it was $47, which is why I expected a lot more in taste. 6.5/10. The downside of the experience was that we waited an hour for food. Some of the other girls also had problems with the server's attitude. I personally didn't mind her, she wasn't out of her way friendly, but she definitely was over it-- which is understandable. We finished our dinner at 11pm because the food took so long. Overall, if you want quality seafood, there are definitely other options in the city that offer it at a lesser price. I spent $101. The ambiance was nice and beautiful, but it's not enough for me to come back.

I have a group of friends and 4 out of 6 of us have birthdays at the end of Feb or beginning of March so we came here on a Saturday night for our annual birthday dinner extravaganza and it was magnificent. We started out at the bar with some amazing cocktails. The bar is beautiful and the bartenders are artists. Really exceptional. We moved into the gorgeous dining room and sat at a round table. The room was lively and there was good background music but had excellent acoustics and you could actually hear everyone at the table without shouting! It's an amazing concept that other restaurants should consider...allowing guests to be able to converse with one another in a relaxed environment. It's a key differentiator, for sure and I loved being able to connect with everyone in the group. We had several appetizers, all delicious but especially the seafood salad, the carpaccio and the mixed green salad. The popovers served when we sat down were also outstanding, esp with the herb butter that was served to accompany them. Most everyone got steak for entrees but I was already so full, I went with the mushroom pasta which was phenomenal. So rich and delicious. For sides, we had asparagus, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were good but the potatoes were out of this world. They were on the thinner side, which I usually don't like but these transported me. I don't want to know how much butter, cream and/or salt was in them....all I want to know is how soon I'm going back to have them again. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, this should be on your list as a place to consider. This will now go into my rotation for restaurants I go to when I want to impress my guests.

A true taste of paradise. With food and drinks so good you will never want to go anywhere else. Sitting at the bar is a perfect spot for people watching. When you first sit down, you are greeted by an amazing bartender named Sabrina. Her perfect technique and amazing personality will put a spell on you where you will never want to leave. I got the "Liberty Tea" which was so amazing it made me feel like I was on a beach enjoying summer. This drink mentally transported me to tropical paradise where I never wanted to leave. The Wild Mushroom Pappardelle is on dish I would recommend even if you are on a diet. This dish is small enough where you can give your conscience a rest and enjoy this amazing dish. Truly a rare treat of truffle pasta. Their Filet Mignon was one of the best I have ever had. Every bite melted in my mouth and the steak was seasoned to perfection. So buttery and soft, it made me have a foodgasm with each and every bite. I have tried the #2 best burger according to Yelp and this was even better than that. If I had to choose my last meal, this steak would be on that list. A fun fact of this place is that it was featured in the first season of the show Billions. This place is a true dining experience.

Loved this bar! We just happened upon it and we're lucky enough to grab a nice couch spot. It's trendy and cool with an energetic vibe. The service was great and the drinks were perfect. We ordered a couple old fashions and thoroughly enjoyed our evening there!

I was invited last minute to a Broadway show, and my Uncle Margaret said dinner was at Hunt & Fish Club. I had never heard of it before, but I trust my Unc's food taste with my life so needless to say I was amped. Right when I walked in the door, I was immediately inspired. You walk into a fully stocked bar with everyone is dressed to the 9s and just an overall very chic interior. The line between chic and tacky is getting smaller and smaller by the day, but they NAILED it here. It felt like a Frank Sinatra song came to life, just exactly what I think of when I think of a classic NY Steak House. The hostess lead me past the bar to my seat, and there is a beautiful open space with all the tables. The big chandelier thing (or hanging lights idk the technical term) was a phenomenal use of the space. It really tied the entire room together. Great choice of interior design here shoutout to whoever put that together. I was a bit late, so put in my order of a dry martini up with a lemon twist right when I sat down. I am going for the skinny rockstar look these days, so this dinner was my first meal of the day and I was STARVING. The bread they served for the table was some of the best I have had in the city. For food, we ordered and octopus salad, ceasar salad, Oysters & clams, bacon, Ribeye, a Filet, and some french fries. Honestly, I loved everything with the Octopus salad being the highlight. The best octopus I have eaten. I am typically much more of a Filet guy, but the Ribeye really blew it out of the water. That medium rare bone-in ribeye was elite.

I must admit, I've never had such a hard time using online platforms to determine whether a restaurant is an actual great restaurant or is a facade of a great restaurant. Hunt & Fish Club provided me and my friends with a first-class experience without the hustle and bustle of more well known steakhouses. Is it worth visiting if you're not coming directly from your office? Probably not. This format isn't particularly hard to find in big cities, but it the full package is definitely present here.

Regret choosing this place. Hostesses were rude, server was absent, they cleared us out in a hurry (we were not in a rush), steak was cold and super salty. We did have a friend, * cough, a cockroach, visit and hide under the table mid dinner so that was exciting. Overall, food was super average but the service just wreaked of "we know you, as a tourist, won't ever come back and we will get new ole like you here forever." Pick somewhere else. The pictures make this place look way cooler than it is.

I visited this restaurant at the end of January to celebrate my birthday with a few friends. Service: They provided an amazing service from the bar to the table. The female bartender was very polite, very quick and attentive. The staff were also very pleasant when we walked in. They took our coats and placed them in coat check for us. Once seated for dinner we had server that seemed like a supervisor. He was extremely friendly, very polite and professional. He catered to our every need. Food: The food was really good... I had the New York strip...unfortunately I asked for well done and it came out medium rare. Once I sent it back it came out quickly. The mash potatoes were amazing! I was surprised with a chocolate cake which was very well decorated and delicious. Ambiance: Very beautifully decorated. Sexy and romantic... great place to celebrate a birthday dinner or have a date night. I enjoyed this restaurant... I hope to be back soon!

In a word: excellent. The other reviews will tell you: this is a restaurant of high caliber. But unlikely some steakhouses (you know the ones where you walk in and have wine cabinets with name plates on them) it didn't seem overly ostentatious to me. I went with a party of six and we were seated a small round table in the back. This was one of two things that went a little sideways on us. I'm not sure that table should have attempted to seat more than five. Especially since it meant the server needed to reach over the person in the chair to put the seafood salad on the table. For some reason - the *very wet* seafood salad is served on a pretty flat plate. And yes, a decent amount of the juice ended up on the woman's dress seated in the seat. They didn't seem to communicate this to the server so it went unaddressed. Other than that though - excellent ... and this is enough of an edge case that it may not affect you. We all enjoyed our meals (steaks, fish, seafood) all around. The sides were overall pretty incredible. I have to say though when they said they'd have tater tots I was actually hoping for those tater tots of yore that they serve in high school. Alas they were GIANT tater tots so basically ... potatoes. One thing that was a particularly pleasant surprise is that it was actually possible to hear everyone else at the table. Even though the place was crowded, we were able to have a real conversation. Amazing! As we were wrapping up dinner we noticed that the place had really cleared out. It made sense then why they'd asked if we were seeing a show at the start of the meal - they wanted to make sure we got out on time. How thoughtful! Looking for a classy dinner before hitting up broadway? Try the Hunt & Fish Club. You won't be disappointed.

We arrived exactly on time and were politely greeted and seated. Very attentive staff as would be expected at a restaurant of this caliber. For appetizers we had: Lobster Bisque (in a Sherry Cream) and Roasted Bone Marrow (Apricot Mostarda, Grilled Sourdough). The bisque was full of lobster chunks, very rich and really tasty. The bone marrow was disappointingly bland. For mains we both had the HFC Signature Stuffed Lobster (Crab Meat Stuffing) and split a tasting plate of Clam Linguini (Little Neck Clams, Cherry Tomato, White Wine, Chili). The lobster was cooked perfectly (see photo)...the crab meat stuffing was full of crab. A gigantic portion (probably could have been shared). The clam linguini was full of flavor had a great sauce, average amount of clams. For dessert we had a Crunchy Chocolate-Mousse Puff (Dark Chocolate Mousse, Crunchy Feuilletine, Stracciatella Gelato, Chocolate Crème Fraiche) which was delicious, the plate was practically licked clean - but seriously the crunch, the mousse...all worked great together.

My cousin suggested that we take advantage of RW and try this place. Their menu for RW looked pretty good, so I agreed. Plus location was in good proximity to Radio City where we had a show that evening. We had a reservation, but was running late and we were able to change it to later without issue. One of the first questions they ask upon arrival is whether we had a show to catch. So they can inform the server and make sure things move along and we're able to make our show on time. I thought that was really smart and great attention to detail. Can't remember the names of the cocktails we ordered, but we both liked them. For the food off the RW menu, I ordered the Crespelle, Seared Black Bass & Chocolate Caramel Ice Cream Sandwich. My cousin got Spicy Broiled Shrimp, Steak au Poivre, & Sorbet w/ berries. We also ordered a side of spinach. Idk how much it was, but it was a generous portion. Can we talk about the complimentary bread and that butter? It was amazinggg! I thoroughly enjoyed every part of my meal. It was all excellent. I tried my cousin's app and entree which were also great. RW can be hit or miss and this was def a hit! Service was excellent! They really had a great team. All very friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with this establishment and def understand why people rave about it. I'm not easily impressed, nor do I use the adjective "excellent" often. Fancy places can be pretentious and underwhelming. This was not it. Even at the RW price, it wasn't a cheap dinner. But it was indeed worth every penny. Absolutely will return!!!

Had a wonderful time. This has been a hot spot for years and I finally got a chance to try it. We were seated promptly for a late dinner at 10:30 pm and the waiter came over to take our food orders before our drinks in order to ensure the kitchen received it in time. They gave us one popover per guest with this incredible herby whipped butter that was served room temp. Everything done right and probably the best popover I've ever had (with the butter). We then started off with the crab cake and the bone marrow which were both excellent. The crab cake didn't come with lemon because it didn't need it! Perfectly bright and seasoned from the acidity of the salad on top. The bone marrow was also great, plenty of marrow but I preferred it without the apricot type spread that accompanied it. We then got the 10 oz filet to share med rare and they asked if we wanted it sliced so we opted in. The steak was perfectly salted. Always an issue I have at other restaurants but there wasn't even any salt on the table because they know we wouldn't need it! So refreshing. We also got a dish of pasta per person, I got the gnocchi with caviar and lobster and wow so great!! I wish the sauce was a little thicker but no problem. We didn't get dessert but nevertheless the food was incredible and you cannot forget to mention easily recognizable gorgeous decor. I'd be back!!!

Great meal all around. Started bread is phenomenal, also had the lump crab, crab cake, mushroom pasta and bone in ribeye. All very excellent. Creamed spinach was just ok, I've had much better. Dessert were amazing, the baked Alaska is to dieeee for!!!

Celebrated fellow Elite's birthday last night! My first time here and I HIGHLY recommend! The service was pristine and the food even more impressive!! Amongst the table we ordered oysters, bone marrow, lobster Mac and cheese, pork chops, lobster, lobster bisque, fish, and of course steak! Every single dish was delicious and the serving sizes are HUGE!!! Yes, it is pricey but it is completely worth it! The ambiance is intimate and beautifully decorated. There is a parking garage right across the street!!!

Really great service and the octopus app was very flavorful. The popovers were amazing. The lobster tails were fresh but lacked flavor.

Now this is a fancy spot! Located right off of Times Square, this sparkly steakhouse offers the finest in terms of luxury, service, and comfort. We had a reservation booked ahead of time and they immediately sat us when we arrived. Our servers had amazing etiquette and the air conditioning and comfortable chairs provided sweet relief from the heat outside. We each got a different cut of steak and then split the truffle tater tots, parmesan fries, mac & cheese, and bacon brussel sprouts. Everything was really good and the bread starter was my favorite part. It is pricey, so be prepared for that. There are wall hangings on your way to the bathroom with names of all of the celebrities who've dined here which was cool too!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I went here for my bday and the service was phenomenal. The food was delicious and accurately proportionate. The flavors were excellent and the drinks were exceptional. I had the oysters - flavor was great and smooth Crab cakes- creamy and so well spiced Stuffed Lobster- this was quite big and I had to take it home. I asked for no bread crumbs and it was flavored well! The ambiance was lovely and the decor was Devine !

I came here the other night and had probably the best meal I've ever had in the theater district. I chose this place mainly because of the gnocchi with lobster and caviar and that dish was everything I hoped it would be and more. For my entree I got the swordfish, which is not something I ever order (I think it was only the second time in my life I ate swordfish), but it had so many of my favorite ingredients in one dish and it felt like it was created just for me. It did not disappoint, either. Absolutely lovely dish.

Wow! Decided to have my birthday dinner here and I must say this place is absolutely gorgeous, especially the main dining area. Such a classy upscale restaurant. Everything from the decor to the service was done with such thought for detail. Even when we had a few crumbs on our table our server would take this cool tool to wipe the crumbs off, I have never seen that done before. Speaking of our server I would like to give a huge shoutout to Liam! His hospitality and service definitely saved in what was starting off as a rough night (I'll get to that soon). The food was absolutely delicious I loved everything about it! I ordered octopus for my appetizer and for my entrée I had the filet mignon absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying octopus I was a bit nervous but it was fantastic, and the mignon was incredible; tender, juicy, everything you could ask for. I also ordered a martini with my meal. That drink I didn't like as much, a little strong for my liking. However, at the end of dinner I was under the impression that they had a slice of cake with sparklers for those celebrating a birthday. Unfortunately, I was wrong you have to bring your own cake and sparklers. So, I decided to pass on dessert. However, Liam was so incredibly nice. As we were waiting on him to return the bill he came back with ice cream and a lit candle on a plate that had chocolate writing "Happy Birthday". He still wanted to do something for me due to my celebration and I was so grateful. What a nice gesture and he was not obligated to do that at all. If you ever dine here and get Liam G as your server you are in for a treat! The ambiance was incredible, the food was incredible so why only 3 stars? Well, I made a reservation prior and when I made the reservation it told me that I would be seated in the main room. I get to the restaurant to check in and the immediate vibe from the three hostesses were off. I came up and said hello and no one even looked up at me. No smile, barely an acknowledgment, and no hello back. Just a bland "do you have a reservation" from one of the hostess. I said I do and she asked my name and I told her. She then proceeds to tell me that all the tables in the main dining area are full but they have a "private" room available. I've been through this before so when she said that I was already weary. She could tell, so she asked if I wanted to look at the room, I said sure. She takes me all the way to the back in this little area that is not private as two parties are already there. I told her "no, I don't want to eat here I'll wait for the main floor to open up". She catches an immediate attitude and says "we'll I don't know how long that's going to take" while walking off. No apology for the inconvenience, a complete lack of customer service. My friends and I walk back to the check in area and stand for 15-20 minutes until another table on the main floor becomes available. Once my table was ready a very unfriendly blonde hostess with too much lip filler (this is one of the ones who didn't even acknowledge my existence) comes up to me and says "Jade? Your table is ready". Before she even finishes the sentence she turns and walks away and again her voice is completely monotone. She guides us to our table and that was that. No enjoy your meal, and definitely no apology for the rude behavior earlier. Let me tell you something New York is not a cheap city and I paid thousands of dollars to have a nice birthday trip and enjoy my time in the city. I paid hundreds of dollars to enjoy my time at this restaurant. As I'm sure many many people do every night. So, I really didn't appreciate these three hostesses treating me as if I were nothing, not even having the common decency to look me in my eyes when I came to check in. It's a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and again my server Liam was incredible and he definitely saved the experience for me. With that being said the next time I'm in NYC I will definitely explore my other options with the countless other upscale restaurants in the area. Because if I'm going to spend my hard earned cash somewhere, the very absolute least of my expectations is to be treated with common courtesy.

What a find! This is a must try if in the Times Square area for dinner! Sexy bar vibes, delicious food and you want ape the craziness of Times Square! I found it on the restaurant week list! Great call. Buratta with squash - omg this is amazing! Bread for the table- omg yasss! French onion soup- very good Scallops Branzino Swordfish Shrimp in vodka sauce Everyone loved their dish and no sharing was going on!

I came here for the first time for my birthday and here are my ratings Ambiance : 10/10 Food: 8/10 Drinks: 10/10 Staff: 9/10 The 10 for 10's I mean are already spoken for! Let's get to the 8/10 for food. It was cooked but it lacked some flavor that would have made it a 10 for 10. Note: Caesar salad is a 2/10 ; a friend had it and she said it was terrible . Definitely a hot spot people dress up , you won't be disappointed. All in all I enjoyed my birthday here and they made it special

Bone-in ribeye, popovers, and our waiter Matt were the best things at our dinner (in no particular order). If you get all three, your experience at Hunt & Fish will be so worth it. Steak: beautifully cooked with the right amount of rendered fat and seasoning Popovers: so fluffy, so buttery, amazing Matt: so helpful, charming, and just so wonderful.

I went here for my anniversary dinner. The restaurant is nice aesthetically pleasing. We were seated in the main dining area. The food was ok for me. I ordered a wedge salad, it was more of a chopped salad no wedge,crab cake just ok and the lobster Mac and cheese was good just very much overpriced for the amount of lobster that was in mine. Also when we arrived the hostess asked were we celebrating anything and I informed our anniversary. They provided no complimentary dessert, no happy anniversary anything. All in all nice restaurant most likely won't be back.

Amazing service as always. The team here is always welcoming and go over and above with their service. Their bartender Xavier is THE BEST bartender. Ask for him if you're at the bar having drinks. They have a very unique cocktail list and you really can't go wrong with either choice. The calamari and steak was really good. Hunt & Fish is a must if you're looking for fine dining in NYC. Or even if you're just looking to have a few cocktails or wine, this is the place to go. I really enjoyed their music playlist as well. Great vibe here.

I visited for dinner as a solo diner. Sat in the bar, ordered filthy belvedere with blue cheese olives, was a delightful starter. Ordered the branzino as the menu definitely leans toward the bigger eater. The fish and asparagus were delish. The warm pop over for bread with herb butter is nice touch. Don't expect it to be inexpensive - its quality and atmosphere. They had a bar menu that looked interesting and def others were ordering from it.

For a small group dinner, the start of a CREATE YOUR OWN SEAFOOD TOWER was amazing. Alaskan King Crab Legs and Shrimp Cocktail were all we needed. For the crab, it was so good alone that the sauces available had little use. For the main course, we followed something we have normally done in the past with this group. That is, we made our own family style experience, and tonight it was made up of the Tomahawk paired with the Filet Mignon plus the Mashed Potatoes, Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Bacon, and Truffle Tater Tots for sides. Everything was amazing... well, almost... the Tomahawk was so good it didn't need any of the supporting sauce it came with. All the sides were a hit and the Tots were a unique add to a meal like this. The big miss was surprisingly the filet that came out overdone and tasteless to the point where we turned it away. Having more than enough on the table, we did not ask for a replacement and even though we said they could leave it on the bill, they still took it off in the end. There was nothing indicating that this was more than a one - off flub in the kitchen, so I would let it pass in deciding to come back here. The other surprise of the night was the attendant in the restroom. Usually I find these annoying because, well, why are they there? Add the fact that my wallet is usually low to empty on cash it catches me off guard. Yet, this time it was an enjoyable experience as it turned into one of the best random conversations I have had in a while. With the usual, "How are you doing?", he started by saying he woke up today, so that was his gauge that everything was going to be great. That led to him mentioning that he even smiles when he sees someone being an asshole. I replied, yes, because you are not them! It was short, it was in a bathroom, it was with someone I do not know and someone that I probably will never see again, but it was full of life with us both laughing. I loved it.

Really nice, thank you to the waiter Carlos for putting up with my group he was great. The food was shareable size and so so so good. I had gotten the lobster not stuffed and I didn't get to finish it. The place was so cute for pictures (in certain areas) like downstairs on the way to the bathroom, and the top of the stairs. I was expecting the bathroom to look as nice as the outside but it was kinda bland. Y'all know that's where all a girls best photos are taken. But I definitely recommend eating here.

We visited during restaurant week in July and the food was amazing! This place never disappoints and we love coming back here. The restaurant week menu was delicious. We had the scallop crudo, eggplant & zucchini parm, black truffle stuffed filet mignon and chocolate raspberry pavlova. Our favorite dish was the black truffle stuffed filet mignon. The food was cooked to perfection and I recommend giving it a try!

Love to enjoy a nice meal and the experience that goes with it. Unfortunately although the food here is pretty good, the experience and service is so bad it overshadows anything good they have to offer. I was very surprised and disappointed--maybe it was just our servers but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'd look for a different place if you're looking to enjoy your time.

AMAZING. No other way to describe it. Classy, fancy and beautiful, but not pretentious. Went for a pre-theater dinner. They were aware of our theater plans and made sure to have everything out promptly. The food. Wow the food. Every bite was savored. Easy reservations on OpenTable. Promptly seated and service was impeccable. Carlos my man. You were the cherry on top. We went back 2 nights in a row on this trip just for the cheesecake. Just try it for yourself you won't be disappointed. Beautiful interior, fabulous food, 5 star service. What more can you ask for? Not pictured: Jumbo lump crab cake and Caesar salad. Chef's kiss. Put this gem on your list!

Pretty standard for upscale midtown - not a particularly adventurous menu but it offers something for everyone. Our group started with a seafood tower of oysters, lobster, crap and shrimp - everything was fresh although being from the west coast I find east coast oysters rather bland and these were no exception. For my entree I chose the broccoli rabe ravioli which could have used a little more sauce and a little less cooking time as the ravioli became gluey, although that may also have been because it sat too long before making it to the table - it was lukewarm at best. The rest of the group had steak, salmon and scallops which they enjoyed. Som service was informative without being pretentious. Our service was excellent, from the hostess to the bartender to the som to our table server. The dining room is absolutely stunning with an art deco design and gorgeous lighting.

Ambiance and music is the biggest plus for this place. The mood is sexy it would be a great place for an intimate dinner. Food: brazino - tasty I would recommend Lobster Mac and cheese - tasty / velveeta likr Creamed spinach- tasty I would recommend Drink: Rosemary Chandelier- very sweet taste like juice probably should have just ordered a glass of wine The sides are family style Service: Everyone is very friendly from the hostess to the attentive waiters. As soon as you walk in they request to see your vaccination card and ID. It seems there are two waiters per table. At the start of our dinner the waiter was a bit underwhelming. He wasnt exceptionally warm. Usually when you visit a restaurant they ask if this is your first time here they would explain the menu give suggestions notate whether certain items are family style or not. This standard greeting I am accustom to was missing. However, midway through dinner another waiter checked in and continued to follow up through the end of our visit and he was exceptional. He was engaging, recommended dessert options his personal favorites. Attire: Some people were really dressed up if you're looking for a place to take pictures and feel fancy without feeling out of place go to HF.

Simply amazing from the decor to the food & service. You have to experience the H&B underground, great time is assured.

I would say this is likely the best place to eat prior to show within walking distance to most theaters. Great steaks... good fish. Little pricey but the drink refills for soft drinks are free (not free in most higher end restaurants). Enjoyed our night, very busy. Great service.

Service: INCREDIBLE! Carlos was our server and he was the most attentive and knowledgeable about all the menu items. I would want him as my server every time! We asked him about his favorite menu items and those it did not disappointed. He also suggested the cook of our steaks and the stories about how other people didn't follow the recommendations. He is there to give you a great experience. Food: 24oz Bone-In Ribeye - Wonderful! This is the only steak on the menu that is dry aged. The nuttiness of the aging process came through from a 28 day age. The crust on the steak was wonderful and the cook was perfect! 8oz Filet Mignon (Oscar Style) - Best Oscar. I have had my fair share of Oscar Style steaks and I do have to say that this addition to the filet was one of the best that I have had. The steak was cooked beautifully and the sauce coated your mouth! The lumps of crab were undisturbed to keep the integrity and the asparagus felt like eating butter. Grilled Bacon with Cheddar Sauce - Fatty. We all know that bacon is fatty but I don't think the fat was rendered off enough. It tasted more like ham than bacon. It could've been the cure that it was in or the thickness of the slab. The cheese sauce was slightly griddy, so it wasn't the best experience. Creamed Spinach - Creamy. Wow! The flavor was really good. The server thought that we didn't like the side dish because we barely touched it and would've relayed the information to the chef. We really enjoyed it but was too full to fully enjoy it. Truffle Tater Tots - Out of this world! It is fried mashed potatoes! How do they do it? The world may never know. When you take a bite, you are filled with the truffle aroma and the creaminess of the potato comes rushing in. On to my next food adventure...

I went here for my birthday!! l had such a great experience and the food was amazing. The restaurant had such a beautiful ambiance as well.

I planned a visit to H&F club to celebrate my boyfriends 31st birthday and this place did not disappoint. All the key pieces that you look for when dining out-they provide. The ambiance, exceptional service and delicious food. Our servers name was Aaron and he made sure we had the best time. He was very knowledgeable of the menu (we had lots of questions) as well as polite and attentive. The drinks were also well made. Thank you for making our night out an enjoyable one. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. The food was sooo good!
