Surviving Medical Gaslighting, Forced Medication, and Psychological Manipulation at Huntington Hospital
I walked into Huntington Hospital in a state that should have triggered immediate medical intervention. I had a head injury, my nervous system was in full sympathetic overdrive, and my body was shutting down, losing circulation in my fingers, losing vision when standing up, and on the verge of death. Instead of receiving urgent medical care, I was gaslit and dismissed, as if my very real, very physical symptoms were all in my head.
From the moment I arrived, the treatment was cold, detached, and disturbingly calculated.
Ignored Symptoms & Medical Neglect
Head Injury? No Urgency. Despite clear signs of neurological dysfunction, I was brushed off. No real scans, no tests, just blank stares and excuses.
Losing Circulation & Vision? "Just Anxiety." I was literally losing blood flow to my extremities, but they kept pushing the "it's psychological" narrative.
Nervous System Breakdown? "It's in Your Head." My body was in an extreme fight-or-flight response, but instead of investigating, they tried to make me doubt my own reality.
Gaslighting, Forced Medication, and Profiting Off My Suffering
They treated my physical distress as a delusion. The more I insisted something was wrong, the more they looked at me like I was the problem.
They pushed a purely psychological explanation to avoid responsibility. Instead of admitting they didn't want to deal with my real symptoms, they tried to frame me as mentally unstable.
Instead of real treatment, they forced dangerous medication. The drugs they pushed caused severe akathisia, a relentless inner restlessness that led to constant pacing, an uncontrollable racing mind, and overwhelming anxiety.
The side effects were worse than my original symptoms. My nervous system was already in distress, and the medication sent it into complete chaos. Rather than listening to me, they insisted I keep taking it, ignoring the fact that it was making everything worse.
They refused to prescribe me Ambien, knowing I couldn't sleep without it. My nervous system was stuck in overdrive, and I physically could not sleep without medical intervention. Instead of helping, they sent me home knowing I'd be back in crisis.
I kept ending up back at the hospital, only to be gaslit again. It was a deliberate cycle, forcing me into repeated visits while they refused to solve the root problem.
It was likely a ploy to keep billing insurance. By keeping me in distress without properly treating me, they ensured that I would return allowing them to milk the system for more money with every new visit.
The psychopathic doctors never tried to help, just increased the dosage. The goal was never to find out what was wrong, only to drug me into submission. Every time I resisted, their only solution was to push more medication, as if their primary concern was sedation, not healing.
Psychological Manipulation and Symbolism in the Environment
Chairs with strange patterns, numbers, and letters, deliberate or coincidental? It felt like an extra layer of gaslighting, as if the very design of the environment was meant to further disorient visitors and reinforce the idea that their perceptions couldn't be trusted.
The staff were complete sheep, blindly deferring to the doctors. Not a single nurse or orderly stepped in to help or question the doctors' decisions. They followed orders without hesitation, watching patients suffer while pretending that nothing was wrong.
Final Thought
This wasn't just medical negligence, it was intentional psychological gaslighting mixed with reckless medication practices, financial exploitation, and environmental manipulation. When someone walks in with a serious head injury and leaves with more trauma, severe medication-induced distress, and a worsened mental state, it's clear the system is built to silence, not to heal.
