We joined our vegan friends for a meal here, and it was refreshing to see such a robust selection of plant-based options. The miso soup, while simple, was a comforting start. The veggie egg rolls were a tasty prelude to the star of the show: the Golden Philly roll. That roll was truly exceptional—a must-try! For anyone with a vegan diet, or simply anyone looking for delicious and diverse choices, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

This is my go-to Sushi place! As a vegetarian, simply love their vegan sushi options. Definitely recommend it! Can't wait to go back soon!

Came here for lunch while we were searching for a sushi place and this had good reviews. The restaurant is in a little strip mall with plenty of parking. We were seated right away and we could see that it's quite small. Each table had a button to call the server which we thought was good if we needed anything. Although it took a bit for them to come after pressing it. We ordered the black ramen, rainbow roll, and sashimi bento. They also had a 50% off deal on 2nd item (ramen or roll). Food was pretty good. The family enjoyed it. A nice touch was the complimentary ice cream at the end. It's a good restaurant and we would probably come back if around this way again.

Cozy little place with friendly staff and amazing food. Tried the Vegan Funky Nathan and the Jalapeño Bombers, the crunch on both was on point without feeling too greasy, great sauce ratio. They served Vegan Green Tea Ice Cream with the bill and that was great too!

The Spanish mackerel is SO good here! It goes down so smooth and has a great flavor. I enjoyed everything here! It had been a while since my last visit but I remembered it fondly. The inside is super relaxing and the servers there are SO nice!!!!! My server was very welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be making another trip here.

I really appreciate that they have a vegan menu, and the vegan menu is long! It isn't one or two vegan options, like you might find at other places (that's if you are lucky that they have at least one vegan option). This was my second time coming to Huntington Ramen. It wasn't that busy when we arrived. People did start to come in around dinner time, and the ambiance became busier. I come here because of the vegan menu. I love the vegan options available! Here's what I ordered and my review for the vegan items. Vegan Tan Tan 10/10 I ordered this last time and felt like there wasn't enough toppings. This time I did extra everything to make sure it was filling lol I added extra tofu, extra noodle, extra vegan ground meat, added mushrooms, added broccoli, added sprouts, added vegan chicken. With extras and additional toppings, this was amazing!!! It was so flavorful and satisfying. Next time, I will only order this. Vegan Tiger roll and Vegan Caterpillar roll 7/10 These were alright. I think I like the Tiger roll a little more? They tasted bland though. The sushi with some texture is probably better. I would order the Vegan crunch rolls again, maybe. Or just avoid these altogether and just still with the vegan ramen. Vegan Bao 10/10 These were really good! They came out steaming hot. They were huge also lol I liked the bao bun. It was very good. The vegan meat inside was good too. The vegan meat, had a sausage flavor almost? Kind of funny lol It wasn't bad though. Overall, very good ramen! The vegan Tan Tan is my new favorite. My husband loved the meat ramen options.

The sushi here is always good! They have garlic butter rolls, which we never had before. But come on, garlic butter is good on anything. We also enjoyed the bento box. Place is very small so not large party friendly. We ordered Togo and it was fast and accurate.

I've been here twice now and both times were great! The food is really good and the service is always on point. I've had the pork spicy miso soup and the melting shrimp soup, both are super flavorful. Their sushi rolls and baked mussels are also really tasty. Everything comes out fast and the staff is super friendly. Definitely one of my go-to spots now!

Be patient it is completely worth the wait! They are tiny, but mighty. The staff is so kind and always checking on you. Never had to press the button once. And the food...OMG. The menus are pages long. Shout out for all their vegan options. If you are vegan you will feel seen and loved. My first option was sold out (I will be back to try it) and went with a different ramen option which was DELICIOUS. And their green tea IPA was surprisingly good. (side note: I am not a green tea or matcha fan) At the end we were surprised with a complementary scoop of vanilla ice cream. Perfect way to end the meal. I heard and saw people throughly enjoying their fried chicken. Seriously almost asked my neighbor for a bite lol. So if you're hungry and want a little bit of everything (except ramen) go for the bento box. I'm still thinking about it.

The ramen is delicious, especially the texture of the noodles and they also have a vegan menu which is a great option. I ordered some items from the vegan menu and enjoyed everything. Great service as well. The restaurant is small and cozy. I will definitely be back!

First time coming here- it was amazing! Food was tasteful and didn't take long to come out. Our server was awesome! There was a mix up with one of the rolls and she compd it for our table and gave us the option to choose a new roll as a replacement. We also got free gyoza and ice cream at the end! Pretty cheap place too but great quality. It is a small place and tables are a little close together but still a great place to eat.

Small strip mall with plenty of parking. Fast friendly service from beginning to end. Small, clean restaurant. The food is amazing. My hubby and I went for the first time on a Thursday night and went back on Saturday with our kids. It was that good. We tried the spider roll, the crunch Roll, the poke bowl, the tofu salad, the teriyaki chicken, the black tongkotsu ramen, and the crunchy dumplings. Everything was fresh and delicious. And the prices were incredible. They also have a large vegan menu for those that need it. Customers for life here.

This was our first visit to Huntington Ramen & Sushi despite everyone talking so highly of this place. And we discovered that the suggestions were all for good reason. Everything was delicious and the service from Elyse was exceptional. We came in on a Saturday afternoon, it seemed fairly slow inside, but the pick up orders seemed to be fairly consistent. It wasn't loud even though there were some nice classic songs playing, and I appreciate the level it was kept at. Loud enough to hear it, but it wasn't overwhelming. We ordered the Melting Shrimp Ramen Bowl, the Salmon Lovers Roll, and 2 (BOGO) Crunch Rolls on Soy Paper. Everything was delicious and filling. The only downside was that the drinks (sodas) are canned and not fountain. Overall, it was a great place with delicious food.

Decent alternative to Kensho. I like that they have a huge variety of options for vegan sushi/ramen, but it's hard to choose what to get because they seem pretty similar. The volcano tempura had good texture/flavor, but the vegan crunch was underwhelming. There is a call button on each table, but the servers are not responsive to them and were probably in the process of being trained. They do have a lunch special (buy one roll get one 50% off) and offer complimentary ice cream.

Parking- they have a private lot Reservation- we had none and were seated right away Service and ambience- attentive and friendly. Place is very causal and perfect for a date or get together with friends and family. I only saw smaller tables so very similar to authentic japanese style restaurants. Love that they have a service button, my favorite part of Japanese service! Food- out of this world!!! Live that they have a full vegan menu but also regular menu for folks who want the real thing. Very accommodating to all food preferences of eaters! My husband loved the eel bowl! I have the tempura sushi and it was the best vegan roll I've ever had! Will be back! This place is too good!

I was recommended this place by a vegetarian friend and WOW. If you are vegetarian or vegan, this is a MUST TRY. I had a vegan friend visiting from Baltimore, and when we sat down we were offered either the regular or the vegan menu (we went with vegan ). We tried the inari appetizer and three rolls - fried avocado, spicy tuna, and unagi. I am a meat eater and sushi lover, but I'm always impressed when a restaurant can make vegan sushi taste delicious and not be super expensive. My vegan friend who never gets to enjoy sushi absolutely loved it! The inside of the rolls and inari seemed to have a savory soy based imitation crab. And we were scratching our heads as to what the spicy tuna was made of (the waiter said it was tomato)! We were served vegan green tea to finish, which was so nice! I'm bringing every single vegetarian friend I know here in the future!

We went on a Friday & there was about a 20-30 min wait. We were able to check out the menu while we waited outside. It was our 1st time there, so we didn't know what to expect, but we gave it a try because reviews/ ratings were good & menu items also looked/ sounded good. Upon entering the dining area, I felt like this is what it might feel like in Japan - it was close quarters! The good thing is they utilize space wisely: they have these short, decorative privacy "curtains" for the booths & the utensils (chopsticks, soy sauce, straws) are "floating" off the table & out of the way. There's a small button to press when you're ready to order & when you need service. How efficient! Staff were super friendly & quick to assist. On to the food! The cutlet bento box was bigger than expected! The chicken katsu was slightly pink in the thicker center areas, so we set those aside to reheat & eat at home. The katsu sauce & gyoza/ egg roll sauce were just ok; my boy gave them a try, but wasn't a fan. The box also came with miso soup, which was full of tofu & seaweed. We also ordered the soft shell & the Greedy hand rolls - both were delicious! We ordered the Queen's Salmon & GB Yellowtail; I didn't get pics of these because we devoured them too quickly! They may not be getting a 5 from me this time, but we'll give them another try. Oh, if you pay cash, they take off 5%!

Interior is small and has a lot of private booths. Pretty easy to grab a seat on Saturday morning at opening. Got the tonkotsu black and baked salmon roll. 4/5. Ramen was solid. Nothing too amazing, but everything in it tasted delicious. However, the highlight of this dish is their chashu. It's soo tasty/sweet/ and soft. 3/5 salmon roll was tasty. I liked that they included fried garlic on top. I ordered this expecting baked mayo on it like how most other places do baked salmon-- they also have baked mussels, so I assumed it would be similar. There sadly wasn't so that aspect was slightly disappointing. Regardless. Great restaurant, would love to come back

Like the 1 star review mentioned this establishment did a great job disappointing us. Service was nonexistent, front house staff to include wait staff were extremely rude & unprofessional. We came here based on Yelp reviews but left with a very disappointing experience for sure. Either they are short staff or inexperienced staff but regardless it should not be at the cost of the customer!

Had a nice lunch here today, the food was good, the service was outstanding. We usually go to another sushi place that was closed today so we tried these guys. Going forward this is our Fullerton sushi go to spot. Give them a try, I think you will like it.

Listen up, people. This is my family's SPOT. 9 times out of 10, you'll find us in the back, munching on sushi, or you'll hear my dad practically yelling across the room. We LOVE Huntington Ramen and to be honest, this review should've been made like 5 years ago. Chef Kohei is super sweet, and the entire staff always makes us feel right at home. We've become regulars because of how welcoming everyone is and, of course, how fresh the fish is. The owner, who's from Japan, brings an authentic, high-quality menu to the restaurant that keeps us coming back. Now, let's talk about our favorites: For starters, we can't go without the garlic edamame and takoyaki. DIVINE. My dad is all about the soft shell crab, and the agedashi tofu is a must-try. When we're feeling fancy, we always get the garlic bluefin tataki. As for the bigger dishes, if you're into rolls, our go-tos are the Mr. Craving, Spider Roll, Divine Lava, and Tiger Roll. We always get a bunch of nigiri, too. The fish-to-rice ratio is spot on, and the quality is top-notch. Our usual order includes yellowtail, salmon, unagi, uni, bluefin, chu toro, and sometimes yellowtail belly and salmon belly. My mom's a big fan of the Real Tan Tan ramen, but every now and then the chef makes mazemen, which is a creamy, flavorful dream with delicious pork. We always finish up with a scoop of their ice cream, which is honestly the best way to cap the meal. 100000/10 recommend. I'd love to gatekeep this place, but let's be real--most people don't know what good sushi is, so let me put you on!!!

Just wanted to go for a solo lunch. They forgot me and kept allowing big groups to sit before me. When I asked them if they forgot about me they scrambled and asked again "how many?" Went to my car and cried and just went somewhere else. I was told 15min wait that ended up being 40.

Yes! My go to place when I'm looking for comfort! The vegan options here are immaculate and SO GOOD!!! Honestly never tried vegan ramen+sushi that has been this good. Service is super quick and efficient. I always get my food very quickly! The vegan Oreo tempura is also to die for!!!!!

I've been here a few times and they have exceeded my expectations each time. I ordered the Spicy Miso Pork Ramen and it was amazing. It had just the right amount of spice and the saffron on top added that perfect amount of flavor to the dish. I personally hate corn in my ramen so I did take that out but there wasn't too much so it was fine. The service was amazing and our food came out quickly. I also like how private each table seems as well. Love this place!

I eat here at least once a week. It's easily my favorite vegan spot. You won't find another place with this many solid vegan options: ramen, sushi rolls, and more. The staff is great, the aesthetic is nice for events, and Thang does a great job managing the place. Plus, they give you a free scoop of ice cream at the end. We've tried to cut back to only coming once a week, but it's become a regular craving --It's too good!

Special 2pcs Fatty Tuna 10/10! the vegan crispy dumpling and vegan chicken curry is always a staple when dining in for me, but will be looking forward to trying more of their sashimi plates

This was one of my favorite spots for vegan Ramen until it shut down a couple years ago, so I was really happy to learn that they had reopened. I ordered the real tan tan (non-vegan) Ramen, which was just as good as I had remembered. However, I ordered a salmon two piece sushi, and I was slightly underwhelmed with it. I came here with the small group of friends, and we did not wait very long to be seated around dinner time. They also have a small lot, but be aware that this gets pretty crowded around meal times and do not park near the 7-Eleven or else you will get towed.

Ordered and paid online for a Black Garlic Tonkatsu & Baked Mussels at 7:13pm and didn't get my food until 8:15pm. My baked mussles ordered was canceled immediately, no problem ordered a negi Toro handball to replace it. I have NEVER waited a whole hour to receive a pick up order let alone ramen. Once you order ramen you're suppose to receive it within 10min. After my hour long wait in my car I finally receive my food, broth is WARM instead of hot. It's still gotta make the drive home and be warm after pouring over my noodles but since it was just warm it was cold after I poured over my noodles and toppings. The broth itself was bland. I couldn't taste any Tonkatsu and only the bitter black Garlic oil. The Tonkatsu must be instant because it wasn't creamy nor was it turning in a jelly like usual Tonkatsu broth does. I don't even want to finish the soup I waited an hour for. This place did a fantastic job disappointing me. Ramen from Tokyo center food court is better than this.

Such a great experience!! My husband surprised me with sushi and brought it home for dinner one night. I love sushi very much but don't have it very often because not everyone in my household likes it very much or not a lot of sushi is vegetarian.. they have some great vegetarian options that taste so delicious. The non vegetarian options were also very delicious. I enjoyed everything we had! The employees there were so thoughtful and caring we even got some sweet messages on our to-go containers and some stuff on the house.. how cool is that!! Will we be coming here again, yes!

I cant believe it is so empty here at lunchtime. It is just as awesome as always though. OMG lunch was great. Naomi was awesome and indulges my outlandish requests. We both had pork bowls "Scott" style with large tasty chunks of pork belly over veggies, spicy garlic edamame, a small side of meso soup with egg and shishito peppers with bonito flakes. Hot sake of course. If you are lucky they might bring you something new to try and we were. A couple of queen salmon roll tasters - I can't say exactly what was in it but it was a California type roll with shrimp tempura and spicy tuna on the inside and salmon on the outside. There was a small amount of sauce on it, dunno what, but it was delicious.

This is our favorite sushi spot! The service is always amazing and the food is so delicious! We ordered the crunch roll, spicy crunch roll, rainbow roll, seaweed salad & spicy ramen. I'm not sure if we just get lucky when we go or if they always do this, but they gave us complimentary egg rolls and ice cream which was so kind! They also have an extensive vegan menu which I love, especially when finding a place to eat with my vegetarian/ vegan friends :)

This was my second time dining here, and I'll definitely be back soon! Both sushi rolls were delicious. However, I didn't enjoy the chicken in the ramen--it wasn't very tender and lacked flavor. (The original dish came with pork, but I requested a chicken substitute.) That said, the overall experience was great! I also tried their beer and loved it. Maybe next time, I'll order the ramen as it's originally made since the broth was really good. I also have to highlight the service. Both times we arrived very late--just 10 minutes before closing--but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

WOW!!! The best ramen I've ever had - I had the shrimp one. The sushi was delicious and fresh. Our server was super attentive and friendly. I also loved the ambience and decor. We got 5% off because we paid in cash. and they gave us free ice cream for dessert! We will definitely return!

I have gone around many places for vegan sushi and/or ramen but none has topped this place! I have had most of their vegan sushi roll options and the taste never seems to change (for the best)! The service is always top notch, and the servers continue to check in and see if you need more water, want order more items, etc. They have small booths for 4 ppl, which I love because we are able to enjoy ourselves and stuffing our face with food, lol (just playing). But I like that they give you somewhat of a bit of privacy, where you can talk and hear the other ppl in your booth clearly without raising your voice. I love coming here, I enjoy the food, the flavor, and the spicy ramen. They cater to vegan and non-vegans, so it's a great place to eat if you have friends or family that are plant-based. Check them out if you are the neighborhood, you won't regret it!

TL; DR - delicious vegan menu, must try!!! Do you love sushi rolls? Do you like cute Japanese decor and ambience? Do you want to try vegan sushi rolls and be happily surprised that they taste amazing??? Then come here! This place has a full regular sushi menu and a full vegan sushi menu, the most vegan options I have ever seen. Parking lot is fairly limited considering how many places are in the strip mall. Spaces are tight.

Came with my family after church. There were no 4 person tables available so we decided to wait. Elyse was amazing. She was the only waitress working but attended to us with more service than a Resteraunt with a bigger staff. Honestly, Elyse made this experience memorable and we'd come back just for her!!

Madi was such a sweet, patient, thorough server for my mother and I. We have been coming here for years even when they were at the hotel for a little bit. Madi explained the menu to us with understanding and kindness and we sincerely appreciated it! The food undoubtedly is the best tasting and price. Updating this review to say that the food and service continues to impress. One particular server, Thang, has a great memory and has recognized us as repeat-customers. We've tried a few of his personal recommendations, and there is one nigiri in particular that I really, really love. I believe it's the Seared Pepper Salmon. I need to go back and confirm this is correct, though. Also, since last year's review, I have become an official fan of the ramen -- my favorites are the Tonkotsu Black and Real Tan Tan. At this time, I can say with confidence that this is my favorite sushi restaurant in Orange County.

The food here was delicious. The Last of the Spring roll edamame, and dumplings were all flavorful. The Spicy Miso Ramen with black garlic oil is rich, and the noodles were perfection! The home made ice cream was the best ice cream I have ever had. Everyone there was so pleasant, some of the best customer service ever experienced! The restaurant was very quaint and homey, the decorations perfectly fitting, and authentically owned. I would definitely come back again!

So, I've been coming here since they reopened because of their extensive vegan menu. Quality and service used to be amazing, until my experience last night. Granted, we did come in an hour before closing, but it shouldn't excuse them for "accidentally" serving sour, spoiled vegan salmon on my inferno roll. I flagged a waitress down and explained to her that the bell pepper aka vegan salmon, tastes sour and spoiled. The host told me it was bell pepper and it's normal. I told her she should go to the back and try it herself. She comes back and tells me "I didn't believe you at first but yea it's spoiled." Really?!! Why would I lie about something tasting off?? And on top of that, they messed up on our check that we waited forever for. What happened to this establishment?!! Was it too busy to handle?!! The service and food quality were so poor, it's hard for me to want to come back anymore.

Have been to this place a couple of times and liked it both times. The place is not all vegan but has great vegan options. They have a separate vegan menu. Service was great both the times. Will definitely go back.

THEY ADDED NEW VEGAN ITEMS AND REDID THE MENUS! Their new options are so goood. The vegan caterpillar roll has avocado and cream cheese and is so good!! They also added a few tempura rolls for the vegan menu! I tried both and they were delicious!!! The service was great as always! They are super kind and friendly!! The mood is always good too. They have soft music playing and are not too busy at lunch so it not too noisy. They try to give the booths out first to try and keep people comfortable!! Its a great place and im always so happy to go here! 5/5!!

Amazing sushi! I'm from Huntington Beach and we frequently visit this restaurant because of their extremely fresh tuna. Staff is very nice and friendly along with the owner. Definitely need to give their crispy rice, veggie egg rolls and any rolls with tuna a try.

This restaurant is such a nice place to go to if you're craving some quality ramen. It was our 2nd time going, and we were greeted with a bright welcome and were seated in a cozy booth. I love that when we are ready to order, we just need to press a button on the wall and our server will come over almost immediately. I ordered the tonkatsu red ramen, while my friend ordered the shoyu chicken ramen and edamame. Food came around pretty soon after we placed our order. The ramen was so rich and flavorful, I loved the broth of the tonkatsu. In the end, they gave us free scoops of ice cream! It was such a nice sweet end to our meal. It was such a nice experience overall!

Cute little place that has private booths with door bells to signal for service. Ordered the Tonkatsu black ramen but found the noodles a bit too tough for me and the broth was not as flavorful as others I've had. Rolls are large and delicious. Tried the Queen Salmon and Mr. Crave. Service is friendly and attentive. They even gave us some dumplings on the house because they thought we waited a bit too long. How nice.

I came here before but left because their wait time was crazy long so we came back another time and boy was the service not it. It was empty and they took a couple minutes to seat us. They sat my friend and I down and didn't bring us any menus or let us know anyone will be with us shortly. A couple got seated by us and they brought them menus and even came back and got them some drinks. The women passed by us multiple times without acknowledging us. I got up to grab some menus from a random table and even the host was just on her phone. After waiting another 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us we decided to leave. Horrible service. Also why does the end of a menu have photos of dogs from your house? lol. The other menu did not which we found quite funny. The menu somewhat lacks variety since everything is spicy and just tuna. Won't be returning. Pretty disappointed because of the high reviews.

As usual, great food and excellent service. We love coming here. Real tan tan ramen is the ! Sushi is fresh. Don't forget to order the fresh Wasabi (kisame).

Every time I come here they're playing absolute bangers I love it. Whoever's on aux is the best. Food is also really good! A regular fish menu and vegan menu :P ! Staff is also very sweet :)!
