Huong Vi Viet Camberwell

What a lovely evening at this restaurant! Food was delicious in my opinion and well presented. Wide selection from pho to curries, rice and noodles. I enjoyed the service and the authenticity of the food. The only negative aspect for me was that despite booking in advance our group of four was put to share the table with another 4. While I wouldn’t usually mind about this, the table was way too small for 8 people, meaning we were literally elbow by elbow with those to us, making it challenging to eat comfortably. I reconsider buying tables that can be separated in these instances, just to guarantee comfort to guests. Aside from that, found it strange that we had to make a bank transfer rather than paying through a card machine. But that was more of a fun moment than an issue.. Would go back to try more of tasty food!

Great food and good value for money with generous portions. They have an extensive menu but not overwhelming. Everything was so flavourful and not made to be a western version but tasted like it was translated to London. Servers were very kind and patient as we looked through our options. They have Vietnamese coffee, some Asian beers. Recommended the papaya salads and the grilled lemongrass pork belly. A large rice would be good for 2 people to share. We will definitely be back.

We got lunch today at Huong Vi Viet, the food was really nice. I really recommend pork belly.. the meat was super crispy, perfectly seasoned and no oily at all. The waitress was nice and friendly and the service was fast too. We’ll definitely come back :)

I came her with my family for me and wife's Wedding Anniversary. The customer service was exceptional and the food was brilliant. Thank you very much we will definitely be back.

I visited Huong Vi Viet for the first time today, after craving some Vietnamese food. Everything about this restaurant was honestly amazing! I ordered the Beef Pho and Fried Spring Rolls, which were so delicious. The portion sizes were also generous. Angel and Theresa, who served me, were very kind and hospitable. The ambiance was cosy aswell - I was especially fascinated to learn that their beautiful walls were hand-painted. Thank you so much to the staff at Huong Vi Viet for this amazing experience. I'll definitely be back to try some more dishes next time! 😋

The menu has recently been updated and the chargrilled aubergine and green papaya salad (vegan option available) are so delicious!!! Very friendly service too. Updating this review to say that I’ve been searching for tofu as good as Chinatown’s Joy King Lau’s before it changed management… and I’ve found it here. The deep fried tofu with onions and chillis is absolutely yummy. And there are so many new things on from the menu to keep discovering and enjoying like the steamed rice rolls (Bánh Cuốn)!

I’ve lost count of the times we’ve been here and each time the staff and the food never fail to satisfy. We were lucky enough to try some new desserts which were amazing - the Taro Creme brûlée was just right it wasn’t overly sweet with the perfect consistency (I recommend to pair with the Coffee, it was delicious!). Thank you to Angel and the rest of the team as always for taking such good care of us!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited since coming to London. Each time, you can feel the owner’s attention to detail and dedication—she’s always carefully arranging the entire space (there are fresh flowers on the tables every day, and the whole area is very clean, etc.). I’ve encountered nearly all of their staff, and they are all very friendly and polite. Of course, as a restaurant, the food is also excellent (I’ve had some of the most delicious and authentic Vietnamese dishes here). I’ve been here more than 20 times, and everything from the pho, noodle salads, stir-fried noodles, fried rice, and various snacks is fantastic! The stir-fried noodles and fried rice are especially authentic—you can really taste the flavor from the high-heat stir-frying!
