This place was absolutely delicious. In the pictures below we had fish and chips, frog legs, oysters, and hush puppies. Everything was Gourmet quality and everything was cooked to perfection. Went here for my mom's birthday drop the knife truck and change and did not regret a single penny. If you like seafood then definitely check this place out they have some classics and something that you won't expect.

Formerly excellent, now just expensive and bland. What happened to the Huron room I used to love? I used to come here often. The. Menu was interesting and mostly Great Lakes sourced. This time the menu changed and was very short and uninteresting. I ordered the $24 walleye fish and chips, my girlfriend ordered $12 whitefish and chips. The walleye used to look like it was filleted in site, with that homemade look and flavor, this time I got a block of batter with some walleye inside that was bland. The whitefish tasted mostly like water. I know whitefish is usually not "fishy" but this was like eating nothing at all. I would expect that at long john silvers for $4.99 but not for $12 or even $24. High end price for mid range food. The silverware even changed from cute fish themed to basic cafeteria platewear. Come on Huron room, you can do better.

The food is well prepared and interesting if a bit hipster-priced if you know what I mean. Good fish and shellfish options. But if you order mussels in broth or mixed seafood in broth it would be really nice to have some crusty bread to mop up with. Or at least a spoon.

Casual, quaint, yet modern (fixtures/setting), small space yet comfortable, on the border of Corktown and Mexican town across the street from Mexican Village restaurant. We had the Jamaican Jerk Salmon and the Cod sandwich. The Jamaican Jerk salmon was seasoned to perfection with red skin potatoes and grilled corn on the cob. The cod was lightly battered with cilantro, jerk mayonnaise and coleslaw on flavorful baguette bread. The cod sandwich comes with Better Made chips, but for $2 more you can have french fries, I went with a fries which made this sandwich complete.

Great ingredients, fun atmosphere and concept. Loved the walleye! My husband and I shared a scallop appetizer with a saffron sauce. It was incredible. I liked the ingredients in the cocktails but was hoping for more interesting options. I love that most of the ingredients are local or from the Great Lakes. It's wonderful that they show what isn't local too. It makes it easier to trust them with the quality of our meal.

From start to finish I was impressed by everything. The bartenders were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about everything being sold. I had the fish and chips with the smelt...incredible. Also had The Michigan Chowder which was fantastic. Bar was super clean and the music was a nice touch, I enjoyed my meal with the sounds ranging from local greats such as Dennis Coffey and J.Dilla. I will be returning.

There were 12 of us and we had a fun and delicious evening. Our waiter BJ was terrific. The seafood was great and there were lots of delightful options. Good craft beer selection. Not so much on the wine side. Casual, good food and very good service.

My lady and I had a taste for a good fish dinner. We decided we'd try some place local and new! I'm a fisherman first and foremost. Particularly perch and walleye are my favorite! I've never caught perch with any dark meat on them. The perch they served had dark meat on each fillet I ate. My lady ordered the walleye which wasn't bad but it was very bland. We both had the hush puppies, that were also bland. I'm not big on puttting salt on my food after it's prepared but they don't even have salt and pepper shakers on the table. Over all the service wasn't bad, but the food wasn't good either!
