The bartenders here are the best they know there stuff the ones I deal with are Sara and Skylar their smart and beautiful I love the atmosphere of the place when I go here they know my drinks and remember me and my stupid jokes lol (Update) 02/21/22 the owner of the business hired all new help (they got all old chicks working here now ) the atmosphere has changed alot

They have bar tender there that's name Victoria. She's supper sweet, and is on point as far as making drinks. She's super friendly and easy to talk to. The atmosphere is laid-back and the drinks are cheap

Good music. Fun place and good location. Great bar tender. She made the best shots and with all the different people was able to remember our drinks. Don't call on the phone cause for some reason, the nicest person, has a horrible attitude on the phone, didn't even say good bye, just hung up.

Love, Love, Love Victoria! Best bartender around. She sees you coming and has your drink waiting for you. She keeps me laughing.

The place is clean and good bands. Their is a new Pizza kitchen operating finally no more processed pizza like the big chain. Here it's all fresh the wing are nice size pieces. I have only tried the BBQ ones. Can't tell you about the Buffalo or other flavors.

Great owner, great bartenders, great place to be! Video poker, live music, and good drinks. What more can a girl ask for?!

Hurricanes is a decent bar I used to go their when Sara and her friends worked their about 2 to 3 years back when this bar had the younger 20 to 30 crowd it's one of the best bars to hang at

Not bad, if you know what you are getting into. Hurricane's hosts a lot of cover bands, and that's usually how I find myself here. If you are lucky, you will get a spot by the bar, during the busier shows. If you aren't lucky, you will have to wade through a crowd of people to get one beer. It's Metairie, so there's smoking but their filter system is pretty decent. The beer selection is pretty good- they had Lagunitas on tap the last time I was here. Staff is always friendly and there are pool tables in the back, if you're into that type of thing.

Ever wanted to go to a bar that was affordable but without worrying about getting beat up or arrested? Then this is your place. It's the perfect sports bar, the interior looks great without resorting to kitsch or pandering. Lots of flat screens, no matter where you look, you can watch the game. Two good pool tables and a solid juke box that sounds good. The bar staff is very attentive and friendly. Good selection of beers, it's not Cooter Browns,but so what if they don't have that Hungarian strawberry pilsner, I'm happy if I can get a Blue Moon. GREAT food, order wings in front of your friends and they'll be catching vapors and order their own, they're that good. Plus, their live music nights are some of the best in the city, especially "Rock the Mic," a combo of karaoke and open mic. They have a song list they can play for you to sing too, but if you have an instrument, you can get up their and play. Great crowd, lots of relaxed smiles, no snobs or douchebaggery. Setbacks: Not a lot of parking you can always go to the sidestreets if they're taken up. Bathrooms are itty bitty and not very private. One of my favorite bars in town.

Huge fan of Live Entertainment .... Hurricanes has live bands constantly ..... great place to enjoy just that ... Gets a little crowded sometimes but hey it's all in good fun ....

Wearing our Packer Jersey's and looking for somewhere to watch the game. Hurricanes was close to our hotel so we gave it a try... on a day the Saints were playing at the same time. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed. They put us in front of a t.v. and put the Packer game on. Had Mama Mea pizza - fabulous. There was one thing we couldn't get at this place...a Packer win. :-( Thanks for a great time! I would recommend Hurricanes to anyone who wants a great sports bar and a drink!

Good place to hang out and have a few cold ones. It has live music on the weekends, and no cover charge. The crowd is a little bit older, but that's ok by me because I don't want to be hanging out with college kids. The bartenders and door staff are friendly, and the drinks are reasonably prices. Who could ask for more?

My favorite bar in Metairie and one of the few which has quality live entertainment. No cover and great, friendly staff!

Great place to view games. Plenty of TVs and they will put any game on that you want. Food is standard bar food and the staff is helpful. Music at night is excellent for the price. Cover bands and no cover to get in.

This is my favorite bar in Metarie. The bartenders are fast and attentive and the space is welcoming and comfortable. And the food is great, too!

Horrible bar, found the bartenders tend to have way to much attitude. Drinks are very light on the alcohol for the price. Bills itself as a music venue but the acoustics in the building are atrocious and there is nothing but cover bands. There are too many other neighborhood bars in new Orleans/ Metairie area that are worth visiting. Do yourself a favor when you see this place, keep driving and find another watering hole

Don't waste your money. I went into this bar in early June 3rd at 4:00 on a Friday. There were a smattering of people there, mostly over 50ish men. The service was terrible. The bartender was very rude and acted as though she was doing me a favor when she poured me a drink. I am a big tipper and, despite her behavior, gave her nice tips on each pour. She still exhibited a bad attitude and did not thank me. There are too many watering holes in the area to waste your time here. Unless you appreciate a heavy helping of attitude with your beer, do not go to this place.

My one GOOD thing to say about my experience at the LOUSY eye doctors office right across Veterans....after I had such a terrible experience at Dr. Mary Hood's office I was able (after fighting traffic to go down and make the U turn to come back UP Veterans) to stop in here and have a beer. The bartender was FANTASTIC and the noise level was surprisingly low key. Granted, it was during late afternoon and while there were SEVERAL patrons in the bar, it was far from packed. The staff was great and the other patrons were friendly without being obtrusive. If I ever go back into Metairie it will be simply to come HERE.
