Working for a popular concierge group and regularly recommending HUSK to my customers, I decided to try it when I came into town. I have never been more disappointed in service as I was there. The BBQ was good (ribs could have been cooked a bit longer but they were still good), but our waitress was terrible. I would be willing to try the other locations but I will not go back to the Greenville location nor will I recommend it to anyone, and I've already told my local family to not go there. Our waitress didn't interact at all with us, got our orders, messed up drink orders, then we waited literally 26 minuets after clearly being done eating to get our bill as our waitress hung out at the hostess booth or the bar instead of assisting her customers. We asked for two boxes to go, we received one and finally was able to get another waitress to bring us our boxes and to-go dessert. I've worked as a waitress and bartender and I tip generously but on a $99 tab I only left $5 because of the terrible service.
I want to say that the food was good and it was only our waitress that left such an unfavorable view of the restaurant.
I ordered the 3-meat combo with ribs, brisket, and turkey, collards and Mac and cheese
My boyfriend ordered 3-meat combo with ribs, pork, and brisket cheese grits and collards
We had the pork rinds and deviled eggs as an appetizer and banana pudding for a dessert. And I also ordered their old fashion for a drink.
The servings were very generous. We were able to make three meals out of it. I think the only thing we weren't impressed with was the cornbread.
