Chef Kevin Gillespie Opens Breakfast and Lunch Pop-Up Ole Reliable in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia-Pacific Center - Eater Atlanta

"The chef opens beer garden and restaurant Cold Beer on July 4 along the Eastside Beltline later this summer. It’s his first full-service restaurant since the opening of Revival in Decatur four years ago. Gillespie nabbed chef Brian Baxter, previously of Husk-Nashville, to lead the kitchen at Cold Beer." - Beth McKibben

Google
I was looking for a breakfast spot and found this place on Google. The reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try. The first thing I will say is it is an outdoor seating establishment, but it is an inclosed patio aree, and they have heat lamps to keep it warm when it's cold outside. The second thing is that the menu is online, and you make your payment online. However, they do have an option to order at the counter, too. I had the blueberry pancakes, cheese eggs, and turkey bacon. They brought out a warm bottle of syrup, too. Blueberry pancakes were really good, and the blueberries were nice size. Cheese eggs were ok. They added the cheese to the top and prepared to add salt and pepper to them if you needed to. The turkey bacon tasted great. Overall, I had a great experience and service.

I’ve been here on three occasions. Nice atmosphere! It has a cabin-like feel and I love the bespoke, leaf ceiling fans. The food is good, not bad. My partner had the fish special and it was SO good. The honey-glazed croissant beignets were so yummy. Harlem chicken and waffles was okay, not the best. Shrimp n grits were cold but they did heat them up for me and it was good. It’s better as a side in my opinion. The blueberry pancake was thick and hard, not fluffy. You do have to go up to the counter to pay and order first. Fast service, you won’t wait long for your food. So if you’re not in the mood to dine in, doing takeout should be no problem. Overall, I do really love this restaurant and will continue to eat here.

Google
Took my boyfriend here for the first time and he loved it. He wants to make this our permanent breakfast spot. Service was great. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong thing and they fixed the issue with no problem.

Google
Initially really liked the vibe of the place and thought it was cool that you just scan to order and pay on your phone but quickly went downhill. This place is severely overpriced for what you get. Paid $13 for a kids meal + tip on top to not really have a server. They wouldn’t even give my friend (1) extra sauce to take with because “they don’t do refills”. It’s a .50 sauce. We would’ve paid it if they asked but didn’t want to go through the entire online order process for one 50 cent sauce and were already over it by then so we just left. Overall disappointed in our experience especially since we were excited we found a new place at first!

Google
We had an awesome experience at Huskey's Kitchen. The omelet was perfect, the potatoes were crisp, the grits bowl was amazing and the pancakes were soft, fluffy and light while having a slight crispiness on the outside. Perfect!

Google
Stop by Huskeys for lunch and boy oh boy it was the best food on our whole trip. The Rasta pasta was to die for. The texture, the seasonings the Alfredo sauce and the little kick that it had, was great. Also we tried the Jam Rock Omelette and that was great too. Perfect in taste and texture. The dishes were appealing to the eyes too. For desert we had the Creamy French Toast. Exquisitely decadent and delicious. A place to visit when you’re in town.

Google
We try to patron black owned business. For the most part the experience is decent. Pricing seems a little overinflated . Here, the concept is unique. Order by scanning qr code. Maybe 8 total employees. The shrimp and grits are good. The owner was very nice.

Google
My first time at this establishment was different. First, you wait to be seated by a hostess then you have to go place your order with the cashier and pay for it. I had the cream cheese French toast and my daughter had the chicken and waffle Harlem style. The French toast was a 7/10 and the chicken and waffle were a 5/10. The shrimp and grits were good I only had 2 shrimp. I will not be going back. Last but not least you have to get your own to-go box.

Yelp
Upon arrival parked in the wrong parking lot but there is ample parking. We were greater upon arrival. We thought we would be one of the first people there at opening but there were already 2-3 tables with 3-6 people. We were immediately seated in a booth. We had the option to dine outside but it was a bit windy for our liking. The food may take a little longer as it is truly fresh. I have seen the popular pancakes and they all looked different. So we know they are not sitting in a warmer. All of the food was really good. I should have taken pictures of the empty plates. We ordered the Croissant Beignets...delicious, one of the breakfast my brisket dish was amazing. The shrimp and grits were delicious too. I could go on but you should definitely try it one or two times for yourself. Please do let me know your thoughts.

Yelp
Food was good. Service I really didn't like. It was more like self service. Ambiance very nice and warm!

Yelp
I saw the reviews, liked the pictures and decided to come try this place out. It's more of a "self service" type restaurant where you order the food AND pay, with tip before getting your meal but the staff that brought the food and explained their process was very nice. The restaurant itself was quaint. It wasn't packed which is preferred for me but I definitely think folks should check it out. I had the Harlem chicken and waffles with a side of shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had a pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon. As I said, I highly recommend. I accompanied my food with a hot chocolate which was also good. They do their own twist of chicken and waffles, putting their chicken on a skewer and dipping it in waffle batter. Now as for the shrimp and grits, I'm not a huge grits person unless done right, and these were definitely done right. It was a side but enough for a taste. I let my bf try and he almost ate off all my grits. Looking forward to going back and trying something else!

Yelp
Upon arriving earlier today, my family and I were actually really impressed by what we saw: the restaurant was not only small but it was an outdoor exclusive type of restaurant and upon sitting down, we learned it had fully embraced the usage of the QR code to create your meal and pay for it in one sitting instead of typical restaurants. I loved the aura of the restaurant, small not too noisy not too hot, just perfectly balanced. The service was quick and efficient, easy to understand, and the food was so different and unique but it is also "old fashioned" for people who want to remain to their taste buds. Some place I would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again, maybe with my former friend or just something to do in my past time.

Yelp
I don't recommend this place. Went here for breakfast/brunch with a friend, the food quality was poor, the prices were way too high, and they definitely skimmed on ingredients and portion size. Not nearly worth the prices they charge. For instance I'm pretty sure the beef sausage was something store-bought like Johnsonville. The omelette was dry and lacking ingredients that were extra and paid for. The waitress did not check on us at all and I got zero refills on my drink which I needed because food was spicy. And afterward I had bloating and a stomach ache. So I don't recommend this place.

Yelp
Food was great! Very cute setup and I loved how you're able to place/pay for your order via your mobile device!

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and it's for sure a hidden gem!! My son and I went on a whim and weren't disappointed. The service was slow and although there almost no one there when we arrived they made us wait for seating as if they couldn't find anywhere to seat us. I'm not sure if they have an inside, but it looked as if there was only outside seating. I'd give the service a 6/10 as we were consistently waiting for everything and someone to check on us so we ended up getting our own to go containers, paying the bill via QR code, and leaving before anyone came back to the table. Okay so service may have been lacking, but let me tell you what wasn't...THE FOOD! Everything we had was so good, the pictures speak for themselves. Only drawback is they do not sell alcohol which a good mimosa would have set this off. 'd definitely go back in ideal weather conditions.

Yelp
I've passed this place numerous times, but a TikTok video is what convinced me to finally visit. They're located on 2nd Ave in Decatur. I went on a Wednesday around 12 and they weren't busy at all. After reading the reviews, it appears that they're busy on the weekends. The restaurant itself is no frills and quaint. The instructions posted were to seat yourself, scan a barcode for the menu, then place your order and pay at the counter. I ordered the croissant beignets and a side portion of the shrimp and grits. While the shrimp and grits was good, it wasn't spectacular. The grits were especially creamy and the cream sauce was decent. I think some green onions would've added a nice touch. The beignets on the other hand were amazing. I literally couldn't stop eating them. They're light, fluffy and are drizzled with a sweet sauce and powdered sugar. Service was fine and parking was free and plentiful.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! I've experienced a few issues with consistent operating hours, so call before you go to be sure they are open.

Yelp
I bet you've NEVA had chicken and waffles like this Listen, when @huskeyskitchen says the dish is served in a skewer, they mean just that! And let me say....it was DELICIOUS! Between presentation and taste, Huskey's Kitchen exceeded my expectations today. I loved how the Chicken and Waffles are served with a side of the shrimp and grits. It's like getting a free preview of another main hitter. Because next time I visit, I'm definitely ordering the shrimp and grits. The only thing is that I didn't see alcoholic drinks on the menu. So, no mimosas. However, if you want really good food ... swing on by.

Yelp
Chicken and waffles are typically my go to for brunch spots. When you order their chicken and waffles you get a side of shrimp and grits. This is a Black owned establishment. The food is so good and comes out very fresh. You order your food in a separate room, you're seated and your food is brought out to you. The chicken and waffles are pretty big, nice and tender. I also ordered the Rasta pasta to go so I could try it out later. I'd go back and other the same thing, no questions asked.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been on the hunt for a solid brunch spot for a while. Ever since the pandemic, businesses have changed ownership or shut down and we haven't found a place to really hit the spot since. So, so glad we finally made it to Huskey's, which has been on our list for a while. This is solid, southern-style brunch that tastes homemade and is well worth the price point. Our server was delightful, kind, and made our experience a breeze. You order everything on your phone and pay ahead of time, which we personally love. Food comes out quick, hot, and tasting as good as it looks. Our server mentioned that she's yet to have anyone complain about the Cajun-style Shrimp and Grits and I 1000% believe her. As someone from the Outer Banks, shrimp and grits is a dish I love but am very picky about. THIS is how it should taste every time, and you get a ton of it! I love a place that isn't stingy on the shrimp, and I easily could have turned my meal into two servings. My bf got the chicken and waffles and loved it. Devoured the entire thing! From the outside, the restaurant looks very humble and is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. But inside, it's cozy, warm, and creates a very comfortable atmosphere. It achieves an ambiance I have seen other brunch spots try and fail. Will absolutely be returning, and next time, with more friends. This is the type of place you get excited to share with others. Cannot wait to eat here again.

Yelp
Food is so good. Fresh ingredients always hot. Very reasonably priced. Ordering table service through mobile phone is a bit clunky but always good service and friendly. Highly recommend for brunch.

Yelp
Fish and grits are top tier. Loved it! Never disappoints Breakfast burger is also a favorite

Yelp
We are from out of town and drove a considerable distance to get there from where we were staying. Ordering food from my phone without seeing anyone first was new to me, but Luckily, it wasn't too busy so our order came out quickly. I've gotta say that this was one of the most unique and unexpected culinary experiences ever! This was not the typical breakfast by any means. I had the Harlem chicken and waffles with shrimp and grits. Man-oh-man!! The balance of sweet and savory was perfect. We also enjoyed the croissant beignets as an appetizer. I wish I could have had a plate all to myself! I was truly impressed, as the owner(Duwayne, or Husky) personally thanked us for dining with him and appreciated our new found dining experience. We'll be back once we're in town, no doubt. Please pay him a visit and see for yourself. It's well worth the effort.

Yelp
This place is an unconventional and unassuming gem of a place. It is a low -interactions restaurant where the patron seats themselves, scans a QR code to view the menu, order, answer pay (no app required). After ordering and paying for your food online if dining in someone will bring it to you. I ordered the Harlem chicken and waffles which was well seasoned chicken tenders dipped in a delicious waffles batter (that takes like a funnel cake) and fried. The chicken and waffle came with a side shrimp and grits which was also tasty and a nice sized portion for a side. Overall I would revisit this place but mostly as a to-go option.

Yelp
Food was excellent, very tasty!!! Service was okay a little different than the norm. You order and pay through an app; food is delivered to table. Once the food was delivered there were no follow-ups from staff. There was a little bit of a wait for the food, but worth it !!! Nice environment!!! Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Location was very easy to find. The ambiance was great. The dine in area was semi-covered with ceiling fans. Instructions were to seat yourself but since we were only a party of 2, we were told to move to a smaller table. Service did not include a server, we had to use phones to access and place orders via the ap. It took us more than 10 minutes to get it to work and place our orders. Don't know if it was the WiFi or user error but that was a pain! The ap also requires you to pay for your food when you submitted your order. Now the food! After the hassle of placing the order via the app the food made it worth while. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered the blueberry pancake meal. It was simply delicious. My husband did not expect to see the chicken and waffles served as it did but he said they were quite good. He have huge kudos to the creamy Parmesan grits. I'm happy to say we will return.

Yelp
The food could get 4 maybe even 5 stars. But the service brought it way down. They must have been extremely understaffed because nothing else could explain how slow things were. I came with a group of 5 at 1:30pm on Sunday. We spent nearly 20 min standing around watching 2 tables that could have fit our party sit empty because there was no one to clean then. Once we ordered our food, we waited another 40+ minutes for our food to come out. That did not make for a fun experience. Like I said, the food was delicious, but everything else left a lot to be desired.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food and ambiance. This place is a whole vibe. The customer service was awesome, the food taste and portion size was on point!! You will be a fool not to give Huskey's kitchen a try. One of Decatur's hidden gems.
google avatar

Reń A.

Yelp
The food was amazing but the service was horrible. I don't like to make bad reviews but I do want people to know the food is really good. The service was super slow, im guessing they were short staffed but it took forever for our food to come, barely seen waitresses and when we asked for things it took forever for them to bring it. I don't like that we take our own orders through an app that charges fees because of the running of the app, then asked for tips before we got serviced. Then our service was not superior. The tea and lemonade was watery. When we asked for our drinks to be in plastic cups, the waitress caught an attitude but I know she was frustrated due to short staffing and long wait times for food. Otherwise, the food did not disappoint.

Yelp
I am so hyped that I found this spot because OMG I was really in for a major surprise! A Jamaican Style Breakfast feast. There were a few great items I saw on the menu but what really stuck out at me was their Jerk Chicken Omelet. I've never had a jerk chicken omelet before and man oh man I was licking my lips in anticipation for it. I'm glad I came on an empty stomach for what was in store for me. It was everything I had expected and more. First off the Jerk Chicken Omelette was fantastic. The chicken fused into the egg packed in was flavorful and plenty and the ingredients that were all chopped in made it pop. And then the Banana Pancakes, you could tell he made them from scratch and it was absolutely fresh. The eggs were scrambled to perfection. I like scrambled soft with added cheese and he got it all on point. I had a chance to meet the chef, he's really cool. He comes out and talks to everyone to make sure they enjoyed the food. He told me his business started as catering and then he eventually transitioned to a sit down restaurant. I'm glad he did that and I really look forward to coming back to enjoy more that Chef Cry has to offer. Cooking is his passion and he puts it on full display with his plates he prepares.

Yelp
Great food, good atmosphere and very attentive servers. The only issue is the requirement to use your phone to look at a menu, make an order or even pay for the order. When the internet is slow forget it. If your Apple Pay is slow forget it. I just spent 30 minutes setting my phone up and ordering only because of slow internet and not being prepared. Again, good food dnd good servers but a real pain to order and pay. There should be options.

Yelp
We saw this spot on Til Tok and couldn't wait to check it out for brunch today. It should have been 5 stars but let me explain why I deducted a star. When we arrived the hostess immediately blurts out "I don't have it you'll have to wait".I was like what are you talking about? She said I don't have a table a available. My blood pressure shot up immediately as I have no patience for rude behavior. I then asked well when will one be available then? She said 45 minutes. We added our name to the list and sat in the car. 20 minutes later we were ready to be seated. She explained we would order in the back and they would bring our food out okay no problem. We go back to our table and she has given someone else our table lol. She looked at me like she never seated my family and I there before. All I could think was this food better be good! lol. Everything was good thankfully but what an experience.
google avatar

Yelp
I came across this breakfast/brunch place on TikTok and decided to give it a shot. I like how they have a private parking lot and a closed off heated patio for dining. When we walked in we were kindly greeted and seated by staff. We looked through a menu before we ordered our food at the register. When the food was ready they brought it to us. We ordered a croissant egg sandwich with potatoes, the buttermilk pancake meal and a side of shrimp and grits. The croissant egg sandwich meal was our favorite. The shrimp and grits were also really good; there is sausage in them too. The pancakes were a little too thick for our liking, but great portions. Overall I enjoyed the dining experience and the food was pretty good. I wouldn't mind going back.
google avatar

Lakeshea T.

Yelp
Begin with the seat yourself and order from scanning the menu. Add a tip and not get even a glass of OJ until after you pay. Waitress looked like she crawled out of bed and decided to go to work. Even with a family business you must hold all employees to a certain standard. The food was mediocre with the best part being a pancake for almost $7.00 which was a 2 star at best as It tasted like it was cooked inside of a smoker. For what you pay the amount of food and the taste was definitely a waste of money and time. The table next to me received under cooked food and they tried to tell him he was incorrect about what he was looking at. I don't recommend at all.
google avatar

Catera W.

Yelp
Food was amazing. It's been a minute since I ate good food so I really enjoyed the chicken & waffles. This is a nice little spot. All the dinning tables are located on the patio. You don't have to wait to be seat. Just walk-up and pick a table. Scan the QR code for the menu. Next, walk inside to place your order. The waiter will bring your food out when it's done.
google avatar

Yelp
I am so very lucky to live right around the corner from Huskey's. They have the best blueberry pancakes I've ever eaten and the rest of the food is great too! The service is wonderful, led by the delightful Ms Kenya! This place is wonderful make sure you put it on your list!

Yelp
One word....DELICIOUS!! We went a while back and I can't wait to go again. The jerk chicken omelet was superb! Very very tasty!
google avatar

Tom L.

Yelp
Delicious, creative island soul food! The room was warm and staff friendly. The jerk chicken omelette, pineapple ginger soda, and the blueberry pancakes were spectacularly flavourful. Online ordering and payment feels convenient but has a couple kinks (paying before eating is uncommon at this price point), but man the food will bring us back!

Yelp
I was out and about running errands one Saturday and decided to grab food. I'd heard someone mention Huskey's recently and since I wasn't far, I decided to try it. When I pulled up, it was smaller than expected, but I was pleasantly surprised because I love hole-in-the-wall type places. The only bad thing was that parking was limited and the lot was already full. So I parked in the lot of the convenience store next door. When I walked in, there wasn't a hostess, so I wasn't sure if I should seat myself or not. However, the hostess then came up and guided me to a table. There was a QR code to scan for the menu and everything on the menu looked so good, I couldn't make up my mind! I eventually decided on the shrimp and grits and a side order of a buttermilk pancake. To order, you go to a counter in a back room and pay up front. Then, they give you a number to sit on your table for the server to bring out your food. My food came up veryyy quickly! And y'all, it was sooo good! The Cajun sauce on the grits was amazing and the portion was huge. The pancake was cooked perfectly and I loved the fruit and white chocolate drizzle - I didn't even really need the syrup. Only one thing threw me off - the shrimp. I guessed it had been cooked down so much that the texture was very different and chewier than normal. But this wasn't an issue; it just caught me off guard. Like I mentioned, the shrimp and grits portion was so huge that I had enough to take home for another meal. Overall, love this place! It's a hidden gem and I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Nestled in the neighborhood of East Lake not too far from Kirkwood and a few miles from East Atlanta Village is this little gem. I originally drove by and said what in the heck is a huskey?! But one day, when there was nothing around but a wing spot at the corner or Publix, I decided to give them a try and boy was I impressed! Someone in the kitchen took a course and well seasoned food. Breakfast served until 2 PM which i love! Today a friend and I grabbed the shrimp and grits and the chicken and waffles. Let me tell you, the chicken and waffles is sinful! Sinful! My momma wasn't around to slap but it was good. (If you don't get it then you never heard the saying) Chicken on a stick covered in waffle batter. Sinful! Syrup is NOT needed. And then it actually comes with a side of fish and grits shrimp and grits. Oh bytes they were good too. And you know how places charge a lot and give you 3-5 shrimp, I feel it was a pretty nice amount. Don't think they have a large online or social media presence so right now I'm assuming their success is built off of just word of mouth confirmation that the food is good. I think the front covered patio dining is also perfect for these Covid ambiguous times that are still lingering. Not certain how well it will be received in the winter as I believe that's the only dining area but it certainly works for the other seasons!

Hannah P.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I just moved into the neighborhood and wanted to grab lunch as a moving break. I'm so so SO glad he had us try Huskey's. The croissant beignets were one of the greatest sweet treats I've ever had. My Cajun shrimp and grits were phenomenal. My boyfriend's jerk chicken was very very good too. It wasn't as spicy as I personally prefer but the flavor was still so amazing. The plantains were cooked to perfection, and the side of jerk pasta/beans/peppers were also fantastic. The music and inside are very warm and welcoming. The service was also great! For a lunch, it was a little pricey, but it was more than worth it. I can't wait to come back. I'm so glad this spot is in our new neighborhood!!!!

Yelp
The customer service was great here, they were patient and gave me and my friend recommendations on what to order. The environment was great, the place is indoors but kinda outdoors at the same time.the food was a little on the bland side though.
google avatar

Victoria M.

Yelp
When I tell you I consumed every Morcel of this food ! I left no crumbs . -I ordered the shrimp and grits and got my friend the chicken and waffles. The seating is very cute . It's located on the outside and your food can be ordered inside to take to go as well. The young ladies who took my order were very pleasant and I was was in around 25 minutes. The only unpleasant thing about this place is the parking. I saw multiple potential customers drive in and leave because they could not find parking. There is a convenience store located near Huskey's and they have parking that appears to be Huskey's but is not . If you park there they will run out and tell you to move . I think a sign investment would be best !

Yelp
I wanted to like this place but just can't get into the bare minimum service. Once we entered the establishment we noticed not a lot of people present. It took awhile to get seated in a place with maybe two tackled occupied. The prices on the menu are high for a basic breakfast and you will not have any interaction with a server unless your food is being delivered or when they ask you to pay and tip before receiving your meal. I would not return to this place, the concept just isn't for me.

Valeria L.

Yelp
Food was amazing but the service was ass. Went to breakfast with a group of my friends and our meals came out at different times, so we couldnt dine together like we wanted. Took about 2 hrs to finish everyones meal which is WAY too long. You have to order online and they won't let you substitute things/sides in your meal. Chicken and Waffles was mid sadly, chicken was good but it's more of a breaded chicken tender. :(
google avatar

Deborah L.

Yelp
They had me at the door! Brianna was absolutely amazing & pleasant soul. She walked us through the order process, accommodated our request & even shared which dish was her favorite. Everyone was extremely pleasant & professional. The food was absolutely delicious! Jamrock Omelet no bacon, added spinach & avocado!! Babyyyyyy the jerk chicken is moist & tender. The right amount of flavor & deliciousness!! The potatoes has the perfect crisp on them. This dish is my favorite!! You will not be disappointed! Oh! Make sure you try the Pineapple Ginger drink!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food and friendly service. Kind of pricey but I think it's worth it you should go
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely love huskey's kitchen ! Everything on their menu is really good. I enjoyed their Jamrock omelet, their shrimp and grits, their pancakes and their French toast. They are one of the most underrated brunch spots in Atlanta. I would definitely come back to try more things on the menu as I have not been disappointed yet.

Yelp
Place doesn't look like it's it but please don't let that detour you cause I promise u that want be disappointed. Food was outstanding & definitely will be going back again.

Yelp
If you just want to go somewhere secluded but nice vibe then this is the place. It's small yet cute! It's like a covered patio, and the aesthetics were nice. The staff there were very warm and nice. The chef and the owner came out and greeted everyone . The waitresses still seem a bit new and a little confused. They kept forgetting things and bringing the wrong food out. But I think once they get use to everything they will be fine. We ordered the pancake breakfast. The pancakes are extremely thick like a pound cake, owner said they are called pound cake pancakes. So if you're not a fan of extremely thick pancakes then just request for them to be made normal. There's also an up charge to substitute items if you get the breakfast. Overall it was a bit pricey, but still an nice experience!

Yelp
The food here was incredible and the service was immaculate. One of the best in Atlanta for sure!

Yelp
I've been here before and the food was decent. Today was not okay. The banana pancake breakfast was horrible. The pancakes were dry as the Sahara Desert. The texture could be likened to dry cornbread, and that is being nice about it. If it had been raining I could have tossed them in the sky and it would have stopped the rain. My eggs were over cooked and tough. I ordered them soft scrambled with cheese, and no, I didn't get the cheese either. I asked for the butter pecan topping on the pancakes and didn't receive them either. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Owner is awful and told me he did the menu when I took the order back because it was not wrong according to the menu I told him this was the second time it had happened but I'd like to patronize my neighborhood he said why don't you just go somewhere else!! his wife apologize for him an offer the food free but I did not want it so I was refunded my money and I haven't been back cents that's been about three months ago. I thought I had posted a review on this, but I was so furious I probably just forgot.

Yelp
This place is a great find. The food was so good, and the service even better. I think the gentleman that took our order was the manager or owner and he was awesome. He took our order, and offered us a replacement option when the French toast we wanted was unavailable which he knew when we initially ordered it, but he was still trying to make it happen. He said he loved our couple energy and we made him laugh. We ordered a lot. The fried shrimp with mac and cheese, the po boy, the blue berry pancakes, and the chicken and waffles with grits. I do not like grits, but the grits here were fantastic. This place is a must try. We will definitely return to try the French toast.

Yelp
Small spot; however, the food has a big taste. Great and tasty food and service was amazing. We were seated pretty fast and food came out fast. Very warm and calm atmosphere.

They r flaky like a croissant but has the sweet taste of a beignet. Definitely will try again Blueberry pancakes. If u like blueberries this this the pancake for u. My pancakes were loaded with blueberries and they seemed to b fresh blueberries definitely not canned. There was A slight drizzle over the pancakes. Very good ove
