Hussong's Mexican Cantina

So glad we decided to come to this cantina. My enchiladas were perfection! Food was SO good! Our server Julie was fabulous! She was tending bar and still attentive, friendly, and quick. Music and overall atmosphere was great too! Will definitely come back.

Went for Mijenta tequila and food pairing. It was excellent! Highly recommend this place; very authentic drinks and the best tequila and service. Our waiter Bryan was amazing! He really went above and beyond and helped us a lot; service on point

Guys, what is going on with your water? It's horrible. The server was very nice and explained it is a regular complaint. They have changed twice the filter, and it is still terrible. Food is unimpressed. Drinks i ordered a strawberry Margherita, and I got something different that was not good.

I absolutely loved the surf & turf fajitas tonight! The host was very helpful and checked on us often, which is very thoughtful. Our server Nicole was very kind and also checked in often. The Raspberry margarita was delicious. My only complaint is the Guacamole was way overpriced for the size you get. I also only wanted a small bit to use on my fajitas and when I asked for that- I was given the appetizer price which was over $11. Our bill was $82. I wished she would have told me that it was going to be the appetizer and that’s all they could serve- since my meal didn’t come with it… whatever it’s fine. Would I recommend? Yess! Will I be back? Of course. 😊

All the staff were so friendly!! I spoke with David, Julie at the bar, Cesar, and TWO managers Steve and Jaki!! The staff REALLY added to the atmosphere of the restaurant! PLUS THE ALL A SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY AONG TO A TABLE!!! With Sparklers!! The food was amazing too! I had Carne Asada Fajitas and I couldn’t finish it all. They also served Chips and Two types of Salsa, and I got Ice Cream for Dessert! There’s a big Patio if you want to eat outside and the baseball game was on, and there were like four other TVs and one had Trivia! Definitely worth the visit- AND they said they have Two other locations, one in Mandalay Bay and One on St Rose and Maryland in Henderson!

Hussong's is always our first stop every time we come to Las Vegas. The food is delicious! Taylor is a great waitress, very attentive and honest is selections. That strawberry lemonade she made was pure, sweet perfection! Loved it! Started with the Mango-Habanero guacamole. I had the mini birria tacos. The dude had the cheesy birria quesadilla. Both delicious and filling. This has become our Vegas tradition. Pros: Price Parking Menu Cons: Parking Price (only if you're Cheap E. McMoth-Wallet) Overall: Great food. Nice atmosphere. Perfect staff. We came close to happy hour. Wasn't crowded and service was great. I recommend Hussong's because they invented the margarita!

Then came the Al Pastor Chicken Tacos, featuring succulent chicken thigh meat, grilled pineapples, and a tangy tomatillo avocado salsa, all wrapped in warm corn tortillas—each bite a burst of flavor. The highlight was the Surf and Turf Sizzling Fajitas: perfectly seasoned carne asada and shrimp, sautéed with vibrant peppers and onions, all served sizzling hot. The combination of savory, buttery shrimp and seasoned-to-perfection carne asada made for an unforgettable meal. Complementing the feast were two standout drinks: the Cadillac Margarita and the Peach Reign cocktail. I initially ordered the Peach Reign with a different tequila, but Mario suggested substituting it with Herradura Añejo—and it was amazing. Each sip was pure bliss. Mario's attentiveness and Chris's seamless service elevated the experience, making every moment special. If you're looking for a place where food, ambiance, and service come together perfectly, Hussong's Cantina is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and relive this exceptional culinary journey!

Hussong's has become my new favorite Mexican spot. I have celiac disease and I can only have gluten free foods. They offer a wide range of gluten free options that have exceptional flavor. Kristine greeted us when we walked in and ended up being our waitress as well. She had the best upbeat personality. She's is very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great recommendations. As an appetizer we ordered the queso bean dip and chips. We ordered ours without pork. I ordered the veggie tacos and elote. All gluten free and really hit the spot. My friend got the Birria grilled cheese and she said it was so delicious and bursting with flavor. Everytime I have came here the food is always good and the service never disappoints. You have to add this to your list of places to try.

We absolutely love this place! We live nearby and just happened upon it a couple of years ago. They have a fantastic Happy Hour that we frequent, and we love their brunch! Food faves are the tacos, elote, bean dip, guacamole, they have a spicy salsa we love. Drink faves are of course the MARGS! The classic marg is amazing but they often have seasonal and monthly specials. Also, sorry... just being honest but the bartender does matter with their margs! CHASE is fantastic. He makes great drinks!!! And, he's got the best energy and will literally brighten up your entire day. Having a crap day, go sit at Chase's bar and you'll be in a better mood within minutes. I also really love ANDREA! She makes amazing margs and has the best energy. Those are our Hussong's MVPs. They also have a huge crown for Aces games, so come and support!

A Tuesday, early lunch hour. I brought my family members in to taste my favorite Mexican restaurant. Our server David grave us a little history, and found that my Aunt tried and love the food in Mexico. We ordered a wet chicken burrito, fish and shrimp tacos and cheese enchiladas. All had rice and beans. The loved the Elote. And the margaritas were delicious. Great food and great customer service! The music was not too loud and the Televisions were visible. I do recommend and I will be back.

Having been in Vegas for a few days and craving Mexican food, we decided to try out a Mexican cantina near our hotel. Located in Boca Park, the restaurant boasted a charming outdoor area adorned with string lights and candles. Our waiter, David, was well-versed in margaritas and the restaurant's history. We opted for margaritas and ceviche as starters, followed by a combination plate and chorizo and potato enchiladas for the main course. The original margarita and raspbertia were both outstanding, offering a choice of tajin, salt, or sugar for the rim. The ceviche was decent, accompanied by complimentary tortilla chips (with a refill courtesy of the waiter), but lacked some spice. For the combination plate, we selected chicken tacos, carnitas tacos, and beef taquitos, which were good but would have been enhanced with some guacamole. Regarding the chorizo and potato enchiladas, the three sauces on top were delightful, particularly the tomatillo sauce, which was the most flavorful. However, the enchiladas were light on chorizo, leaning more towards potato with a hint of chorizo. Overall, our experience was enjoyable. Perhaps it's because I'm accustomed to California's Mexican cuisine, but the dishes here could benefit from more spice and flavor.

Julie was great! She was very helpful and attentive with our order. We love this place, and my son got his vegan quesadilla and French fry fix, while I got my vegan elote, guacamole, and veggie delight tacos. Everything came out fast and delicious, as usual!

This place was actually pretty good. The ceviche was really good. Birria mini tacos was just enough to fill my stomach. Guac and salsas were great. If you check in, use the free elote coupon. That was also yummy. They also have live mariachi playing during dinner time.

I kept seeing this restaurant and finally had the chance to try it. They have seating indoors and out, and had quite a variety of options on their menu to choose from including vegan options. Our waitress was very personable and attentive, she made great recommendations to our table. The food was reasonably priced, and the food came out very quick. The "mix and match" option on the menu came with 3 or 4 items & was absolutely delicious. The quesadilla, mango guacamole, fish tacos & elote were a favorite amongst our table! We of course had to try the fried ice cream & it was delicious.

Hit this place up for restaurant week and we were very pleased. Their 3 course menu was perfect for my needs. Ended up with the guacamole to start followed by the stacked chicken quesadilla and ended with the churro with vanilla ice cream. My son ordered enchiladas and very much enjoyed those, off of the regular menu. The service was on point. Would definitely like to check out their HH menu.

My husband and I decided to check this place out for happy hour since we were in Boca Park. And we both left disappointed! I ordered one fish taco and one shrimp taco which came with a small side of beans and rice. I also ordered a cocktail the Mockingbird that was sweet and tangy, good but small in size. My meal was ok but not worth the $15. My husband ordered a burrito and did half sauces his burrito was large but not desirable. The food was salty, the prices were not worth the small portions. The ambience was dry there was Zero energy and we actually wished there were video poker machines at the bar to create more excitement. My husband wouldn't let me see the bill due to the amount lasted he mentioned it was close to $80 and he was shocked at the cost of the overall experience. Needless to say we will not be returning.

This is the home of Watch Parties for the Las Vegas Aces. My husband and I were at one of the games this summer and our row won Every Steal Wins A Meal. The meal is offered by this establishment. We were hanging around the house one Sunday and decided to head down here to take advantage of our free meal. Although I was not impressed the first time I ate here, I was hopeful that this time would be better. We sat at the bar and were helped by the delightful Melissa. She is so friendly and kind and we really enjoyed our time with her. We started out with drinks. I ordered a mango margarita my husband ordered the Star Spangled Hammered. So what is up with serving a margarita in a regular glass?? This is the second time I was served this drink in a regular glass. Very unappealing, and the drink was ok but not the best. Our choice for the food was a taco meal. I understand it was free and I appreciate that but again the food was extremely underwhelming and tasteless. I did order the Eloté and it was good. This four stars is really all for Melissa. She is such an asset to this business with her bubbly personality. I would come back just to hang out with her. I just cannot recommend this place to eat, but if you are looking to have a fun time at the bar, be sure to come when Melissa is working!

First time trying Hussong's and it happened to be during Restaurant Week. The prefixe lunch menu was very reasonably priced and there was a good selection of items to choose from. We started off with the chips and salsa and got the queso bean dip as well. Pretty good, I just knew it was going to get us full before our mains! we also ordered a pitcher of the watermelon margarita. It was pretty tasty but the pitcher was a little pricey and small. For our mains, we ordered the pozole, chile relleno, and carnitas tacos. I thought the pozole was okay - kinda thick and saucy though, so i didn't really care for the "broth". My husband didn't really care for his tacos - they were on hard shells, I was not expecting that. My chile relleno was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much, to be honest, but it was really good! The service was good, it's a decent sized restaurant and I like the patio that you can use when it's nice out. Pretty casual place but some good food options, for sure!

Hussong's Mexican Cantina invented the much loved margarita at their original location in 1941 (Thank You!) The Boca Park location offers a nice patio for when the weather is nice and inside is a large bar and traditional tables. They offer a Baja-Style Mexican menu and also a very large Vegan Menu. We were greeted and sat right away when we came in. They started us off with warm complimentary chips and two salsas. The plate that they do really well is the mix and match combo plate. My husband REALLY ENJOYED the carnitas burrito, the barbocoa enchilada, and the chicken street tacos with rice and beans. I tried one chunk of the chicken from the street tacos and I can tell you that it was superb chicken. It was very developed with flavors, it was delicious, and expertly tender. (I'll have to get chicken tacos next time) I had the Baja chop salad with added chicken. I got the regular large size and it was very generous in size. I was surprised that it was so detailed and delicious. I never had a salad like this in any Mexican restaurant. Service was very above average and friendly. Parking is easier around the back of the restaurant and you can walk in that way.

Came here for father's day with the Chase dining reservation since it was father's day and I know things will be booked out crazy! My group had 6 people (one child) and we were comfortable outside on the patio. Our waitress was amazing... Very gorgeous Asian woman with pretty awesome tattoos. She clique'd with My uncle's daughter and my uncle. Super sweet, funny, and approachable. The food to me was just like any Tex Mex type of restaurant. The margaritas stood out but everything else was just generic Mexican food. Nothing super special but the service stood out from everything else. There is a back and front entrance, This location is in the Boca Park in Summerlin close to the Cheesecake factory. You'll see a fountain in the front entrance as a reference. Again the margaritas are amazing... :)

Everything here was decent. That's the exact way I would describe it. The happy hour prices were decent, the chips and salsa were decent, and all the food we had was decent. Our server took care of us and there was only a brief period where we had to wait about 5-10 minutes to get more water and chips. We had the mini nachos- 6/10, the queso bean dip-5/10, the guac-7/10, and the ceviche-4/10. The nachos and queso bean dip were very bean heavy and the ceviche was very onion heavy. Not bad but just not my preference. The one thing I will say was below decent was the margarita. I'm not sure if it was the tequila or if they used a bland mix but overall I wouldn't suggest them. I'd say this might be a good place to bring visiting friends if they like an American style Mexican restaurant.

I have recently re-discovered Hussong's in Summerlin and their Happy Hour and Taco Tuesdays are great for a quick bite. The service is great here and this is one big reason that keeps me coming back. My review is only on the tacos. Their free chips and salsa has a great fire roasted salsa. The more traditional red salsa is light and fresh tasting as well! Happy Hour consists of tacos and to me, the Barbacoa is the best overall. It has a lot of flavor, is juicy/saucy and comes out hot in temperature. I haven't tried their Sunday Brunch yet but the tv screen is definitely enticing me!

Wow! I'm impressed! We were craving for Mexican food, and the assistance of Yelp, it led us to here. Amazing customer service, by Kristine; such a sweetheart! The food we ordered are all amazing! My jalapeño pineapple margarita is out of this world!

This has got to be the worst place I've ever been to in Vegas! The best thing about this place was the margarita which makes sense why he sold us on that. The chips and salsa were OK. The same sauce that was offered as a refill tasted different from the first one. WEIRD. The glass was dirty and had hair in the cup. YUCK. We ordered the 4 menu items each. The rice and beans were terrible. The chicken quesadilla tasted like bagged frozen chicken. The enchiladas weren't warm so the cheese was super firm. I don't want to waste anymore time complaining, but if you want flavor in the area save yourself and visit Casa Don Juan or even Roberto's!

Great atmosphere, great vibe, great food and great service. We love coming here!!! Don't forget to play the game on the television screen!!!

Decided to stop in on a Sunday afternoon for margarita's (always wanted to check it out since the name Hussong's was once famous) After visiting, maybe I know why no longer famous - Nice decor - open Mexican Restaurant Vibe. There's seating inside & out with a good size bar. One think I can say is that bartenders are super friendly. So enter in & pulled up a stool at the bar - we were given the usual salsa and chips - the chips were decent but the salsa dip was horrible, lacked flavor & just didn't taste good, also there was a hot sauce - awful ! We did order guacamole dip and that was very good. Margaritas were average at best, their house tequila is Jose Cuervo - I say no way Jose Cuervo... Decided on the top shelf tequila instead To me Hussong's is a redundant Mexican Restaurant feel (same old, same old) basically bland overall - Sorry to say : Bottom Line there are so many good places close to this location that I would rather hang out for drinks or dinner

We go here at least weekly during happy hour. We love both David & Liz- they are super attentive and friendly!! The chicken tacos come with pineapple and are my absolute favorite!!

What a disappointment based on the reviews, first time I have walked out of a restaurant in years. After being seated, and nobody coming to table for 20 min to even ask to take our drink order. A shame the salsa was not bad.

Second review. I just love it here and adore their HH. It's so so good we came on a Thursday and were easily sat. Pretty sure we ordered half the menu and margs but love the options and prices and will continually will come back here! So tasty and great service.

Excellent food excellent customer service as usual had the chimichanga chicken burrito. My uncle had the salmon others had the delicious roasted salsa which is odd this world I highly recommend enjoy.

I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately nothing I ordered here tasted great. I got their elote which was not bad but I've had better, I think it just didn't have the authentic flavor that I remember having from Mexico. Their complimentary chips and salsa was also just ok, one of the two sauces that came with the chips has a smoky taste to it which was kinda unique but still under seasoned. Their guacamole is bland and need some serious flavor. I ordered their mini birria tacos as my main entree, it wasn't bad but the dip on the side is wayyyy too salty and not in a good way, it has no layers to it. I had to eat them without the dip otherwise it would be way too salty for me to even eat. Their service is good here and so is their ambiance, nice and clean with a pretty large bar. I would say this restaurant is mediocre at best.

I'm sure I've been here a long time ago. A restaurant week experience here was really amazing. A $30 menu with the most choices of any place I've been to. Our server, she made the experience amazing, one of the friendliest caring server I've encountered. Drinks were never empty and her personality matched the amazing food. We started with the Taquitos which came with 4 and were very tasting and really good. We also had the Baja Chop Salad which had a kick to it but was yummy. Next course was the Carnitas Tacos which were again very tasty, seasoned well and was really good. Also had the Chicken Chimichanga which was huge and filling. This was just filled with goodness; flour tortilla, Mexican cheese blend, rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, queso fresco, smothered in your choice of traditional red sauce, tomatillo sauce, or cheese sauce. I had chicken with red & tomatillo sauce and it was wow. Dessert was a Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake chocolate cake, peanut butter frosting, sweet tomatillo sauce which was rich but oh so tasty. It's a nice place with great food, the ambiance was cute and was a fun place to be in. I HIGHLY recommend this place and it's on the list to return to without question. Great food, decent prices and an amazing staff made the experience i would definitely go back to.

It was TERRIBLE! Ordered Cheese Enchiladas.... All I received was cold tortillas! When I asked to reorder.. the "cook" brought back the dish I returned and ask what was my problem! I also ordered a Cadillac Margarita... 25 mins later in a water glass... and a beer 5 minutes later only because I went to the bar! I have never been so disappointed! I really hope reviews make a difference!!!! So not eat there! EVERY THING was awful! P.S house music was great!

Great food and drink at Hussong's tonight. Kristina was a terrific server and provided the vibe. Food was good and came to the table quickly. Beer was cold and it's great to live in LV.

Tried this place out for lunch because they have outdoor seating (huge plus!) and it seemed pretty affordable. The service was absolutely amazing, we loved the staff. The rating is really a reflection of the food. Their tacos were a flop all around, the tortillas were slimy and the carnitas tasted off. There was very little flavoring to them altogether. The spicy guac was good, as were the chips. Everyone left feeling meh about the food but really loved the service.

Good as always! We have been many times. Always hoping Melissa is working when we come to Hussong's, she's the best! Great food, great prices, but most importantly GREAT margaritas!!!!!

Frosty margaritas on a hot day in Vegas are the best. The food here is a perfect match and makes you want to order more margaritas. Our server Melissa took great care of us and kept the food and Margs coming quick. Highly recommend!

A party atmosphere was evident as we entered this restaurant. Nice decorations all over, with fun music playing. Kristine was a great server, very friendly, helpful and always attentive to our needs. Nearly all of the food was as good as the service. Everything was served hot and fresh. We took advantage of their half-price enchiladas on Wednesdays, and their 3p - 6p happy hour specials. Both salsas served with their house chips were good, one dark chipotle and one pico de gallo style. The shrimp enchiladas were excellent, the beef enchiladas were good and the pork enchiladas were just ok. The shrimp ceviche tostada was excellent, as were the beef taquitos. The chicken quesadillas were good; served with chipotle sauce, sour cream and pico de gallo. Their pozole was awesome, tons of flavor. The carnitas taco was served with pickled cabbage; very tasty. And getting a few shots of 100% agave tequila during happy hour always makes a fine Mexican meal that much better. They earned all five of my stars!

From the time I arrived at this restaurant I was given the best service. The waitress that seated us was very nice and accommodating. Our waiter David knew it was my first time and went over the menu and gave me ideas on what to order. I ordered the surf and turf carne asada. Everything on my plate was so flavorful and the portion was a good size. My friend has a gluten allergy and she was able to choose from several different options of food. It is hard to find a lot restaurants who have gluten free options. The Michelada was also really good and did not disappoint. We will definitely be back. Cannot wait to try other items on the menu. There are so many good choices to choose from. If you come to this Mexican restaurant ask for David to be your waiter. He's the best !!

This is our first time at Hussong's and our server Kristine N. was very informative, courteous, and prompt. We gave her our order and we got our drinks under 5 minutes, appetizer under 10 minutes. The staff was on point. The margaritas are refreshingly delightful. The food was impeccably delicious. Ask for your server to be Kristine N, she is awesomely the best and she will take great care of you!

Melissa is a great bartender! Always friendly and such great energy whenever she serves us! We're highly satisfied with her service whenever we go to Hussongs.

I got the chimichanga which was delicious, although I didn't care to much for the cooked tomatoes inside. I loved the ceviche and the corn. The weather is nice so we enjoyed the outside patio and the great service by Andrea.
