The grains held their integrity beautifully, each one distinct yet packed with flavor. Elevated even further by that incredible wok hei the smoky, slightly charred depth that only a proper wok can deliver. A lunch that turns into a feast before you even realize it. 🥟🔥🍚

We had a wonderful dining experience at Hutong. The chilli fish bowl was perfectly balanced—bold, spicy, and full of deep, comforting flavours. We also tried a variety of dim sums and chicken wontons, each one delicately made and beautifully presented. The textures were spot on, from silky wrappers to juicy fillings. Everything felt refined yet satisfying, making it a great place for sharing dishes. A must-visit if you enjoy elevated Chinese cuisine with authentic flair.

Lovely place, loved the food! We got the Iftar menu and it was lovely. Best part were the xiao long bao, spring roll, and the Chicken. Everything is fantastic. Will come back again

Favorite Peking duck in Dubai, super consistent which is my favorite thing! Service is always on point. The vibe is nice but it’s definitely on the quieter side of things, great for an early dinner and/or a starting point before moving on to a more lively place. I love the soft shell crab, wish it was a bit spicer but overall would recommend.

I had the pleasure of hosting a private dinner here and it was spectacular. The food was incredible and service to match. I was no doubt a difficult client but they made everything work. Genesis was able to deliver an impeccably well-organised event and clearly has deep experience in the hospitality industry. I would highly recommend this place of dining for private, casual and event dinners. The vibe of the space was lovely and very luxury.

Hutong's unlimited dim sum is a must-try. The ambiance and service were superb and attentive, making the dining experience feel truly premium. Every dish in the dim sum spread was excellent—especially the Steamed wild Mushroom and Truffle Baos and crispy duck rolls, which are an absolute showstopper of flavor and texture! (The soup could use a little improvement, but that's a minor detail.) The ultimate highlight is the Wishing Tree ritual at the end: writing a wish on a red card and hanging it up adds a uniquely memorable and hopeful touch to a flawless meal. Highly recommend!

Overall, the experience was enjoyable. The service was excellent, attentive and professional throughout the evening. The drinks were also excellent, well prepared and nicely presented. The food was good, well executed and enjoyable. However, the ambience was disappointing. The décor felt more Arabic or Turkish inspired, with many arabesque elements and floral decorations. Aside from the chairs and some lighting fixtures, there was little that reflected a Chinese identity. When I first entered, I actually thought I was in a Mediterranean-style restaurant. For a restaurant of this price level and reputation, I would have expected a more authentic or modern Chinese ambience that reflects the cultural roots of the cuisine. I would still recommend the restaurant for the quality of service and drinks, but the interior atmosphere does not match the concept or expectations of a high-end Chinese dining experience.
