My family and I tried this restaurant several years ago; however, I never provided a review of this place at that time because I knew I'd return for yet another dose of all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ some time in the future. It actually took a while to revisit this restaurant because Las Vegas (LV) has so many different Korean restaurants to try, but it finally happened and my wife and I ate at this restaurant on 18 Oct 2024. We arrived early (~4:15 pm) because we wanted to have an earlier dinner and since it was a Friday night, we were hoping to try and beat the evening madhouse that typically occurs in LV.
When we walked in, we were greeted right away and escorted to our table within 2 minutes. The décor in this restaurant is really nice; between the exposed concrete wall with personal art to the giant Hwatu cards hanging for people's enjoyment...this restaurant delivers comfort and entertainment. The service was outstanding...from the moment we walked in, all the way to our departure. The employees were highly efficient in picking up the dirty dishes from our table which I appreciated because I can't stand it when the dirty dishes remain stacked up on our table, especially when the dishes have come in contact with raw meat. Also, the employees were extremely attentive to the condition of our grill and continuously asked us if we wanted to order more food.
We ordered the all-day special for $29.95/person. Now, I don't know about you but that price is simply amazing if you ask me. The restaurant gives you an hour and 20 minutes for the AYCE option which I thought was interesting considering they could've given you that extra 10 minutes to make it a cool 90 minutes, but oh well...it was plenty of time to enjoy our food. We ordered the Gyoza (Mandu), Beef Bulgogi, Kimchi Fried Rice, Spicy Pork Belly, King Kalbi, Brisket, Short Ribs (traditional Kalbi), Spicy Baby Octopus, Korean Fried Chicken (KFC), and The $hit (I'll get to this one in a moment). I definitely lost my ability to consume a lot of food during AYCE venues because I got full really fast. My favorite items were both types of Kalbi, Mandu, Beef Bulgogi, and the $hit. The $hit was interesting because it's basically crab meat wrapped in seaweed, and deep fried in tempura batter - extremely delicious. The Brisket, KFC, and Pork Belly were adequate but I've definitely tasted better quality at other AYCE restaurants. Whereas, the Spicy Baby Octopus wasn't spicy at all, and the Kimchi Fried Rice was less than adequate (the texture wasn't all that good).
I can tell that this restaurant attracts a younger crowd based on the music selection and how loud the music was playing while dining. Not to mention, this restaurant stays open until 3 in the morning everyday, so it allows people to have fun late at night and get some good Korean food afterwards. Overall, I liked this AYCE Korean BBQ, as depicted in my 4-star rating and will recommend this restaurant to everyone.
