Hy-Vee Grocery Store

This store is lacking training to all of there employees, i have united health care that grants me 200 dollars a month for food, kinda like foodstamps. And ive had that for about 6 months now. But every tume i go to use the card at this store the only person that can help me works at night and i rarely cross paths with this manager! And if its not that specific person i get made to stand there looking like an idiot or like i dont have the money to purchase the food! And even being told that im lying and they know i dont have the funds to purchase the food. Very embarrassing! Also, even though i know shes told other employees how to complete this transaction, they either do not listen or dont care.. Either way at the 1rst of the month, if i do not spend all of that card i lose that money... i dont get it back. So far ive not been able to use about 600 dollars so thanks Hyvee for the 600 dollars worth of food i wont get back or replaced.....

Great selection of groceries and decent prices. Overall a great store for quick stops or your daily grocery needs.

I would like to say "thank you" to the floral department for making my 96 year-old grandmother's birthday. Her bouquet was delivered today, on time, to the correct address, and protected in wrapping from the extremely cold temps. I ordered the "florist choice" bouquet and so glad that I did. The assortment of colorful, fresh flowers was so beautiful, it moved her to tears. When you live hundreds of miles away, it is hard to know what you are going to get when a gift is ordered online. But I have always had good luck with the quality and service at Ft. Madison Hy-Vee. Thanks again!

This place never fails too deliver. Tonight I made New York strip steak burgers 🍔 on Brioche buns with fries and to top it off with Freddy’s Fry Sauce! What a fantastic simple meal! Great price, highly recommended!

Seemed like an okay store. Typical self checkout issues but overall just a normal HyVee store with expected items.

They can have great sales, the layout is easy, if you get there at least 2 hours before closing- their employees are awesome and amazing. But don’t go there 2 hours before close cause they get cold, they act like you are in there way, you don't exist. I tried doing this the proper way by talking to a manager who acted like this was a huge deal that needed handled but I guess it was for show, which sucks cause it sucks being in their way and space. Getting vaccum straight at you.

No rewards given when purchasing healthy foods. Your only rewarded on your card for buying junk food.

The produce they put out is embarrassing. Grapes r turning brown consistently. Gotta check the berry's for mold. Individual Oranges r a hit n miss. And what's up with Deli products like potato salad and such with the price of the containers facing away from you? Haven't figured out the reasoning behind it
