Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Easy to navigate, prices are higher than other stores but everyone is friendly and competent and willing to assist. Pharmacy is sub par, does not communicate with co workers well and customers even worse. I switched due to strict but unessesary policies or actions of the entire pharmacy as a whole

Hy-Vee has really gone down hill, place is always dirty and understaffed. First grocery store I have ever seen where you have to bag your own groceries. I mines as well be going to Aldi. There rewards sucks, and I can go to a meat locker and buy better quality stuff for cheaper prices. Even Sam’s Club has been a better buy, but hey price your self right out of the market. Hope that works out well for you.

I would like to say "thank you" to the floral department for making my 96 year-old grandmother's birthday. Her bouquet was delivered today, on time, to the correct address, and protected in wrapping from the extremely cold temps. I ordered the "florist choice" bouquet and so glad that I did. The assortment of colorful, fresh flowers was so beautiful, it moved her to tears. When you live hundreds of miles away, it is hard to know what you are going to get when a gift is ordered online. But I have always had good luck with the quality and service at Ft. Madison Hy-Vee. Thanks again!

The employees are rude and disrespectful, the meat is sold by the peice not by pound. Overpriced... I am just shopping, but hey ,I will go somewhere else, period. Hy Vee was once a great company, not anymore. I will shop Fair Way.

Maybe it's just Iowa, but I think the prices are a bit high.All the employee I've run across have been amazing

This place never fails too deliver. Tonight I made New York strip steak burgers 🍔 on Brioche buns with fries and to top it off with Freddy’s Fry Sauce! What a fantastic simple meal! Great price, highly recommended!

This store is lacking training to all of there employees, i have united health care that grants me 200 dollars a month for food, kinda like foodstamps. And ive had that for about 6 months now. But every tume i go to use the card at this store the only person that can help me works at night and i rarely cross paths with this manager! And if its not that specific person i get made to stand there looking like an idiot or like i dont have the money to purchase the food! And even being told that im lying and they know i dont have the funds to purchase the food. Very embarrassing! Also, even though i know shes told other employees how to complete this transaction, they either do not listen or dont care.. Either way at the 1rst of the month, if i do not spend all of that card i lose that money... i dont get it back. So far ive not been able to use about 600 dollars so thanks Hyvee for the 600 dollars worth of food i wont get back or replaced.....
