Hyatt Centric Kanazawa (Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Hyatt Centric Kanazawa is a collision of a couple of incongruous worlds — the fun, youthful, vibrant Hyatt Centric brand and Kanazawa, a city steeped in Japanese history. Here we have a hotel that is thoroughly contemporary, full of modern Western design furniture and boutique-chic graphic interior design, but that never lets you forget that this is the city of geisha and samurai. Five, the grill and lounge, is open all day, serving a tapas-inspired menu of distinctively local flavors; the 14th-floor Roof Terrace Bar offers expansive views of Kanazawa from its picture windows and open-air terrace." - Tablet Hotels

Hyatt Centric | Best places to stay in Hong Kong

"In Hong Kong, rooms with a view of Victoria Harbour usually cost an arm and a leg, but the Hyatt Centric is the exception. It’s a little off the usual tourist track, but the eastern harbour views are just as sparkly and the old-school neighbourhood is a food-lovers dream come true. In contrast to the surrounding streets, the hotel is fresh and modern, spread over two multi-coloured towers, one topped with a gorgeous rooftop bar, the other topped with an infinity pool. Pick your spot for sunset to watch ferries, tug boats and junks criss-cross the harbour as the sun sinks into the South China Sea. " - Lee Cobaj

Our recent stay at Hyatt Centric Kanazawa was largely enjoyable, with a few areas that could be enhanced to meet five-star expectations.||||Check-in was smooth and efficient, though we were a little surprised that there was no offer to assist with our luggage—neither upon arrival nor at check-out. While guests may not require help, it’s a service touchpoint often offered at hotels of this tier, and something that peers are definitely do better.||||We were pleasantly upgraded to a King Premium Room as part of our HotelLux booking benefits, though this wasn’t mentioned during check-in. We only realized it later ourselves. A simple acknowledgment would have made the experience feel more personalized. That said, the room itself was excellent—spacious, modern, and very comfortable.||||We had a late lunch at Five – Grill & Lounge after arriving from Takayama at 1pm. The atmosphere was lovely, and the lunch set we chose was satisfying. Breakfast the next morning was as expected—quality spread and enjoyable.||||Check-out was seamless, wrapping up a comfortable stay in a stylish and well-located hotel. With some improvements to guest engagement and service polish, the overall experience could have matched the excellent facilities.

We stayed two nights at this well located modern hotel. Room was comfortable with sufficient space. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Restaurant was fully booked the first night so we ate in one of the many restaurants in nearby train station. Dinner at hotel the second night was good and mostly western menu. Convenient car parking available under hotel. We really enjoyed Kanazawa town exploring on foot with occasional taxi. Our Hertz rental car return was just across the street. Its 100 meters to the train station.

A beautifully designed property with a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step into the lobby. The entire hotel feels fresh and impeccably maintained - although it’s five years old, it looks and feels brand new.||Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out, with comfortable beds and a large window offering sweeping views of the city.||The rooftop bar is a great spot to unwind, with a decent wine list and a relaxed vibe. Breakfast was outstanding - a generous and high-quality buffet that exceeded expectations.||My only regret? Not staying longer.||Thank you to the entire Hyatt Centric Kanazawa team for a fantastic experience!

Loved this hotel!! Beautiful, comfortable room. I loved the wet room that included an oversized shower & large bath tub. Great for relaxing after a long day of walking. It was very easy to get to/from when traveling elsewhere since the train station is next door, but isn’t in the center of attractions in Kanazawa. There are restaurants, shopping, convenience stores and coffee shops all very close by due to the train station being right there. One downside of this hotel is that you enter and take an elevator to the lobby, then have to walk through the lobby to another set of elevators to get to your room.

If you imagine 4star hotel you will be disappointed, but if imagine just a city hotel you will be pleased. The furnishings are so luxury and beautiful. There are water bottles in the fridge at your room which is refillable. It’s sustainable idea but the water server at shared place is dirty with dust. I don’t want to refill my bottles there. The idea is beautiful but so sad. And also you can feel Roughness due to dirt in the bathtub. I wanted to have cleaning tools. Hope that just one customer's voice will change things for the better.

Centrally located hotel next to Hyatt House and opposite Kanazawa station. Modern style, spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Decent gym. Let down was breakfast… not a lot of choice - often had to ask for the milk jug to be refilled, hot dishes in the buffet were cold.

Very good hotel. Extremely well located next to main train station. Rooms were very nice, clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was good. Plenty of choices for whatever you were interested in. Had not stayed at a Hyatt Centric before and would definitely consider it in future. Would stay at this hotel when back in Kanazawa. We had our teenage kids with us. They were happy at the hotel. Lots of families staying here,

I booked this because of the reviews, and they were all correct. It’s a beautifully designed hotel right outside Kanazawa Station. The attention to details in the rooms are really remarkable. The blackout shades are the best I’ve ever experienced in a room. The lighting, the amenities, the toiletries, the shower—all excellent. The fitness center is also very nice; albeit, small, it is a nice one for a hotel. The artwork, the rugs/carpet, the walls throughout the hotel—beautiful. Impressive drinks on the rooftop bar ($17 ish per cocktail + 15% service charge). The service and house keeping was top-notch. Loved the big TV and the soundproof walls. I didn’t hear a thing and that’s huge. I’ll rate a hotel poorly if the walls are thin. Highly recommend the Hyatt Centric
