Our recent stay at Hyatt Centric Kanazawa was largely enjoyable, with a few areas that could be enhanced to meet five-star expectations.||||Check-in was smooth and efficient, though we were a little surprised that there was no offer to assist with our luggage—neither upon arrival nor at check-out. While guests may not require help, it’s a service touchpoint often offered at hotels of this tier, and something that peers are definitely do better.||||We were pleasantly upgraded to a King Premium Room as part of our HotelLux booking benefits, though this wasn’t mentioned during check-in. We only realized it later ourselves. A simple acknowledgment would have made the experience feel more personalized. That said, the room itself was excellent—spacious, modern, and very comfortable.||||We had a late lunch at Five – Grill & Lounge after arriving from Takayama at 1pm. The atmosphere was lovely, and the lunch set we chose was satisfying. Breakfast the next morning was as expected—quality spread and enjoyable.||||Check-out was seamless, wrapping up a comfortable stay in a stylish and well-located hotel. With some improvements to guest engagement and service polish, the overall experience could have matched the excellent facilities.
