Hyatt Centric Kanazawa

We had a good time at Hyatt Centric. I did feel like it was outsized value for the cost. As a Globalist, we received complimentary breakfast (which was delicious), but no room upgrade. We were able to stay with our three children (3, 5, 8) plus two adults in a standard room - nearly unheard of in a Japanese hotel. There was plenty of space for us. It felt at times that the staff did not know what was going on and there was definitely no anticipating of needs. We would return.

Hotel is very conveniently located next to JR station, and a short walk into downtown Kanazawa. Staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms a very large and spacious, modernly decorated. If I find myself in Kanazawa again, I would love to stay here.

The location is excellent, right next to Kanazawa west exit, you can see the hotel when you get out of the station. ||Room is spacious and clean, amenities provided were good.||Didn't have any food in the hotel, not sure about the food quality, but nearby places are quite good.||Is easy to move around the attractions by bus and walking, possible to go to most attractions in a day if you are not too tired after a few attractions.||The ninja temple is worth a visit but need reservation in person by phone. The bus ride is about 15 minutes, 6 bus stops away from the train station. ||After the temple, you can walk to other attractions in about 15-20 minutes.

We stayed two nights at this well located modern hotel. Room was comfortable with sufficient space. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Restaurant was fully booked the first night so we ate in one of the many restaurants in nearby train station. Dinner at hotel the second night was good and mostly western menu. Convenient car parking available under hotel. We really enjoyed Kanazawa town exploring on foot with occasional taxi. Our Hertz rental car return was just across the street. Its 100 meters to the train station.

Location 2 min walk from Kanazawa Station & next to multiple malls with restaurants unbeatable. Popular and packed with guests and yet housekeeping was top notch & on time everyday; and express checkout option made it a breeze. Highly recommended.

My stay at the Hyatt Centric Kanazawa was better than I had anticipated. The hotel is located directly adjacent to the train station and is attached to a food court mall, making dinner decisions very easy.||The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a truly outstanding breakfast buffet with great service offered by the breakfast staff, especially Ruby who greeted use with a smile every morning and Yung Jai the bartender who was kind and helpful. They also offer a DAILY welcome drink and free-flowing happy hour for Globalists at the next door Hyatt House.||My only (very small) complaint is that I was chased out of the Hyatt Centric restaurant/lobby area when I tried to work there. It was a rainy day so I didn't want to walk across the outdoor atrium to the work space at the Hyatt House next door, but was told that I'd have to order food to stay at the Hyatt Centric tables. I moved to the bar area and watched as the table I was chased from was never used for lunch.

Loved this hotel!! Beautiful, comfortable room. I loved the wet room that included an oversized shower & large bath tub. Great for relaxing after a long day of walking. It was very easy to get to/from when traveling elsewhere since the train station is next door, but isn’t in the center of attractions in Kanazawa. There are restaurants, shopping, convenience stores and coffee shops all very close by due to the train station being right there. One downside of this hotel is that you enter and take an elevator to the lobby, then have to walk through the lobby to another set of elevators to get to your room.

Energizing, modern, comfortable hotel adjacent with to Kanazawa station. Great rooftop bar perfect for a sunset or late night drink after a day of sightseeing. Room size was perfect.
