Hyatt Centric Kanazawa (Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Hyatt Centric Kanazawa is a collision of a couple of incongruous worlds — the fun, youthful, vibrant Hyatt Centric brand and Kanazawa, a city steeped in Japanese history. Here we have a hotel that is thoroughly contemporary, full of modern Western design furniture and boutique-chic graphic interior design, but that never lets you forget that this is the city of geisha and samurai. Five, the grill and lounge, is open all day, serving a tapas-inspired menu of distinctively local flavors; the 14th-floor Roof Terrace Bar offers expansive views of Kanazawa from its picture windows and open-air terrace." - Tablet Hotels

Hyatt Centric | Best places to stay in Hong Kong

"In Hong Kong, rooms with a view of Victoria Harbour usually cost an arm and a leg, but the Hyatt Centric is the exception. It’s a little off the usual tourist track, but the eastern harbour views are just as sparkly and the old-school neighbourhood is a food-lovers dream come true. In contrast to the surrounding streets, the hotel is fresh and modern, spread over two multi-coloured towers, one topped with a gorgeous rooftop bar, the other topped with an infinity pool. Pick your spot for sunset to watch ferries, tug boats and junks criss-cross the harbour as the sun sinks into the South China Sea. " - Lee Cobaj

This hotel is honestly one of the best that I have been to in Japan, so much so that I have stayed here twice in the year! Being a new hotel that is located right next to Kanazawa station, the convenience is unparalleled. The hotel is also near to malls and Toyota rent a car locations, with plenty of parking (even an underground parking which leads right to the hotel)! The staff at the hotel is not only professional, but also extremely friendly as well. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of food, both local and western, and caters to different taste palette. The rooms are also large and spacious, with extremely comfortable beds and a great bathroom!

This a comfortable, relatively new hotel conveniently located near Kanazawa Station. The room with a king size bed was good size, well equipped and clean, with the exceptionof the big stain on the sofa. Check in was quick and we were allowed to access our room early. Breakfast was included with our room through American Express reservations. The selection at breakfast could have been better and food could have been replenished. At times, buffet items including coffee were left empty. Check out was equally quick to check in. From Kanazawa Station, you can catch the Loop Bus which goes to all the tourist attractions. You can also buy a transportion day pass for ¥800 for unlimited rides. There are plenty of restaurants in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A well serviced hotel. Easy car park with lift to reception. Not much of a wait to check in, although if you time it badly you may get the madness of a coach load. The room, a luxury King was excellent and had everything we needed. A big comfortable bed. Modern tech for blinds, which serviced a massive window. Loved the night light for my nightly trek to the bathroom. Separate shower/bath to the toilet. Good storage and nice size fridge. Location was excellent. Overall, an excellent hotel in a lovey city.

We booked a King Premium room for 4 nights with breakfast, the room was very spacious, air-conditioning was effective and the shower very powerful. We only thought that the space for your clothes and other belongings was limited, it would be better if they had an enclosed wardrobe with shelves and drawers. The room was quiet, very clean with plenty of amenities and toiletries and the service was prompt.|Breakfast offered a wide range for both Western and Asian cuisines and we enjoyed one dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.|The hotel is conveniently located just outside Kanazawa’s station with great transport links, there were 2 circular bus routes to explore the touristic sights and all city buses seemed to pass by the station. Next to the hotel you will find Cross Gate building where you can find plenty of restaurants. ||The hotel will arrange for your luggage to be transferred via Yamato Transport to your next hotel or airport, we found this facility reasonably priced and convenient instead of having to carry your luggage through train stations. |Although the hotel wasn't a luxury hotel, it was good value and a great choice to stay in Kanazawa.

This was our first stay with the Hyatt Centric brand and we were impressed. It’s a strong four-star hotel and a great value. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and well designed, making it easy to settle in. The location is a huge plus, right next to the train station with shopping nearby and easy access to the main tourist sites. Breakfast had fewer Western options than we expected, but dinner at the hotel the night before our departure was very good and a pleasant surprise. Overall, a stylish and convenient choice for Kanazawa.

We stayed in a premium room on the western square of the station, very convenient. it was a large room with a sitting area; a similar room we had in 2023. Indeed, we could not wait to return because Kanazawa is an attractive city with interesting places to visit, e.g., the Tojinbo coast, Himi near Takaoka and Shirakawa. We enjoyed a plentiful and appetizing breakfast, a perfect start of the day. We also had a gourmet dinner in three French cuisine restaurants, L'Ostal near the Hyatt hotel on the way to the Omicho market, bistro Yuiga, easy to reach wit the shopping bus on WE and Chez Nous where the chef stayed long time ago in France. A stay to remember.

Hyatt Centric Kanazawa was a gem of a find! You can’t beat the location. It’s within 5 mins walking from the train and bus station. You have access to plenty of restaurants and shops within minutes of the hotel. The hotel itself is modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room layout was spacious by Japanese standard. I highly recommend and we’ll definitely stay here again, if we’re ever back in Kanazawa.

My stay at the Hyatt Centric Kanazawa was nothing short of perfect. This hotel masterfully blends modern design with local culture, creating an exceptional experience from start to finish. 🏯 Design & Atmosphere: The hotel is beautifully new and stylish. I was particularly impressed with how traditional Kanazawa elements were woven into the contemporary design. My room was a highlight: it featured a comfortable Western-style bed, but was elegantly divided using Japanese-style sliding doors (shoji). The bathroom was brilliantly laid out with a three-way separation, making it incredibly functional. 💯 Thoughtful Amenities & Details: The attention to detail here is second to none: · Tech-Savvy Touch: The bedside control panel for lights and outlets was a sleek and futuristic touch I loved. · Quality Toiletries: The provided amenities were high-quality, and I was especially delighted to find DHC skincare samples—a thoughtful touch for travelers. · Laundry Access: Being connected to the Hyatt House with its affordable and convenient washers and dryers was a massive bonus for a longer trip. 📍 Unbeatable Location: The location is superb. It's a very short and pleasant walk from Kanazawa Station. The best part? Nearly the entire route is covered by a sheltered corridor, so you can arrive completely unscathed, whether it's pouring rain or blazing sunshine. This is a game-changer. In summary, the Hyatt Centric Kanazawa strikes the perfect balance between design, comfort, and convenience. It's more than just a place to sleep; it's an integral part of the Kanazawa experience. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to any traveler.
