Hyatt Centric Murano Venice

We arrived to Murano and Hyatt was our home for 3 nights. The wonderful rooms make us feel at home, spacious and fresh looking. Perfect setting for our first trip to Venecia. We wanted a relax hotel with nice decor with all international standard. Hyatt presented beautiful glass art that remind us that we were in Murano, delicate colors we loved it. What make is more special was their staff. We had breakfast every day which was wonderful and we met Stanislaw or Stan a wonderful breakfast host that made sure everyone was happy chatting with us every morning. Human touches that makes the difference in a destination. As a hospitality expert what I love most is to see professionals at work and hyatt is a great example of a fantastic hospitality experience. Als we tasted the restaurant and wow, food delicious and Franchesco our waiter was wonderful he told us a bit about life in this part of the world apart from giving us every night the best recommendations. Both Stan & Franchesco represents the values of the brand clearly with a personal touch. Bravo!!! 👏

Hidden gem and outstanding value. Literally across from the Vaporetto (Museo) stop. Super modern, clean and quiet. Exceptional breakfast buffet. The only oddity is the service... The GM was on point, but her staff are just a little bit lacking. At breakfast, for instance, the waiters never come to the table unless flagged down. Everything is assumed to be self serve. The gym requires booking a time, which is not easy or intuitive, nor is finding it, and the staff do not explain this well. There is a really nice steam room and steam room with sauna below the gym, but that also requires special booking and a €10 fee. The gym and sauna area has showers and bathrooms and towels but absolutely no soap or shampoo, not even hand soap, which is curious. Still this hotel is absolutely fabulous and a lovely escape from the mayhem (and prices) of Venice! Neat little communal area on the 2nd floor.

The hotel is lovely - located right off the vaporetto "Museo" stop on Murano, the hotel is clean, quiet, and convenient. Our room was a loft, so the main bed was upstairs. This arrangement was a little weird since it meant that our son was sleeping in the living room. It was a shirt stay, so this worked, but it would have been annoying longer term. The breakfast was ample and had nice vegetarian options, and we had a superb dinner one night (their holiday menu).|| I did have 2 nitpicky items about the hotel - one was that the front desk person couldn't clearly explain about transport from the train station to the hotel. Having never been to Venice before, I called with my concerns about the transfer, and they said "oh it's easy - just get a vaporetto and you're here!" It definitely was simple once I figured out how to get a ticket, validate it, and catch the proper vaporetto line. They should really be able to explain all of this when you call instead of making you do all the research on your own - it is daunting to a newbie and guidance could have upped the star rating. Even giving us the official website for the public transit would have been helpful. The other minor thing is that the second floor hallways were smelly. I guess it was a musty smell - possibly due to crazy humidity/fog we had while visiting - but an air freshener would help tremendously. The rooms were perfect though!||In the heart of Murano, there are shops and little cafes everywhere for your enjoyment.

The Hyatt Centric Murano Venice was, without a doubt, the best hotel we stayed at during our entire tour of Italy. It was a truly exceptional experience. Of the five hotels we stayed in, the breakfast here was hands-down the best—a fantastic spread with a wide variety of delicious options. The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. One of the things that made this hotel stand out was a small but significant detail: they were the only hotel that allowed us to borrow an iron, which was a huge convenience. Overall, this is an awesome place to stay. We highly recommend the Hyatt Centric Murano Venice for anyone looking for comfort, great amenities, and top-notch service.

Hassan at the front desk was extremely hospitable! The nicest service we have ever received, really went above and beyond for us to make our stay as pleasant as possible! Another special mention to Sten (apologies if incorrect spelling!) durning breakfast, exceptional service and very pleasant interaction. Hotel rooms are beautiful, and love the touch of rituals amenities. Will definitely be returning! Really great image for Hyatt!

If you want a truly relaxing Venice stay, Hyatt Centric Murano is unbeatable. Being on Murano makes it far more peaceful and quiet than the main islands, perfect if you’ve been to Venice before and want a calmer experience. Even for first-timers, it feels like you can slow down and fully appreciate the beauty of Venice. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the hotel is filled with Murano glass art pieces, and the breakfast is amazing.||The location is perfect, right in front of the vaporetto station, so you can go anywhere without walking. It’s also just a short trip to Burano. Get the breakfast package, it’s worth it, especially if you want a hearty start before a busy day. A lot of variety. The views are stunning, and overall, it stands out among all the hotels we stayed at in Europe. Truly relaxing.||This was the first time we actually said to ourselves, “Our mattress run is worth it.” Exploring the world and staying at different Hyatt hotels has been such a rewarding experience, and Hyatt Centric Murano just proved it even more.

For a room in a hotel in an old European city, it was actually quite spacious. For people from the United States, they may not find the room particularly special, but by European standards it was very large and nice. The hotel itself was very nice and modern. It was also very quiet, and right next to the water taxi. I would highly recommend to somebody traveling to the area around Venice.

We recently held a team-building company offsite at Hyatt Centric Murano for 20 pan-European colleagues, alongside a CEO event, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. The private boat transfer set the tone immediately - seamless, well organised, and a wonderful way to arrive in Murano. From the moment we stepped off the boat, the warm welcome from reception and every member of staff made us feel genuinely looked after.||The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, with great meeting rooms, ideal for a professional yet relaxed offsite. The food was excellent throughout, with thoughtful presentation and consistently high quality that was appreciated by our international group. Service was attentive without ever being intrusive, which made both group meals and leadership moments highly enjoyable.||A special mention must go to several outstanding team members (amongst many more who I didn't get the names of): Francesca (Sales Manager), who seemed completely unflappable—nothing fazed her and she was incredibly helpful at every turn; Pietro and Hassan on reception, who were always smiling, proactive, and happy to help; Betty and Stan in the restaurant, who provided wonderful, responsive service; and Riccardo in the bar, who made fantastic cocktails and Aperol spritzes and added a real sense of warmth and personality to our evenings.||Hyatt Centric Murano proved to be an excellent choice for a company offsite and executive event, it was professional, welcoming, and memorable. I We all left feeling well cared for and would absolutely love to return.

For a more chill stay in Venice, I recommend staying on Murano. The island is famous for glass blowing and has fabulous studios. The Hyattcentric is a wonderfully modern and minimalistic property with a fantastic staff. The Museo Vaporetto stop directly in front, making it easy to get over to Venice for sightseeing if that's what you like. The restaurant at this property is really good. I hosted a dinner for clients and everyone raved about their meals. The bartender is awesome and very creative. This property is a keeper for me.

We loved our short stay at the Hyatt Centric in Murano. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we got in at midnight, they were able to set up a private water taxi for the next morning. They also set up a complimentary shuttle to the airport upon checkout. Starting each morning with a short boat ride to the mainland of Venice was nice and great way to begin the day! The hotel was clean and well appointed. We loved all the Murano glass displays. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had, and we stay at lots of Hyatts. The restaurant was good for dinner, but there might be better places you could try around town. The amazing staff really made our stay well worth it!

We booked this hotel for a short get away from Cortona, Tuscany, Italy so we could experience Venice, Italy. From the minute we entered this hotel, everything and everyone on staff were first class. The hotel decor is beautiful, modern, very clean and well appointed. The front desk staff were all very cordial, pleasant, and professional! They eagerly volunteered to assist us with everything from where to have lunch to water taxi transportation. After touring Venice all day, we returned to the hotel and enjoyed a spectacular dinner in their beautiful dining room. The waiters were attentive, courteous, and professional. The Assistant Banqueting Manager, Sabrin Trabelsi, was the absolute best thing about the entire visit to Venice. She was truly amazing, thoughtful, courteous but very uplifting and loads of fun! We have never encountered a manager with such passion for her job and for taking care of her staff with a true sense of respect and compassion. The rooms were very comfortable, modern in design, and were exemplary of efficiency. We can't say enough about this hotel, the staff, or that awesome attitude that was indicative of every member of the staff there! We offer our highest recommendation for this hotel for anyone thinking of visiting Venice! Promote Sabrin!!! She is a born leader who represents herself and the Hyatt Hotel chain exceptionally well! None better!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Centric in Murano. The hotel is very nice and well maintained (except for the couch in the sitting area of our junior suite, which was falling apart). Don't expect much of a view from your room because the hotel was built inside the shell of another building. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was okay for dinner, but there are other restaurants in the area that might be a little better. We would definitly stay here again.

Im shocked at the negative reviews on this hotel. I had a wonderful time and my room was really modern, clean and updated. The front desk staff were very attentive, they showed you how to get around using maps, advised on the ferry schedules ( of which the stop was just right in front of the hotel) The ferry to the airport arrives every hour and it's just approximately a 20 minute trip. They brought 2 bottles of water to my room everyday because of my membership. I've had this membership for a while and that has never happened at any other location. My beef is not with the hotel. In general the need for a boat or ferry in Venice was kind of stressful for me so it's not a Hyatt problem but a Venice problem. By the way the hotel is located in Murano and on the third day, I just did everything within Muran. Visited the glass factories, had nice pastas , no need for a boat or anything and it's a very beautiful mini-city and a little more laid back and clean.

I had booked a "superior" room for my anniversary. We're were to stay at the Hyatt for 3 nights and then take a cruise. That room ended up being the ugliest room I've stayed at in on years. See the photos of the black mold on the ceiling along with the weird stains. Also see our"view" of a brick wall and construction site. On top of these rather major issues, both of the tea cups had old tea stains on the outside that came off when I washed them and one had old lipstick. Stains also on lampshades and chairs. But the shower was very good and was a nice surprise. Silver was coming off the hand fixture but the wand worked well. In our sad little room it was a nice surprise. Walk in shower with rain style flow from ceiling as well as a wand. No tissues though which was weird. Also only 1 bar of soap. Unlike the other reviews I found the staff to be helpful and pleasant. Also, the location is good as long as you don't mind a little hassle getting to Murano. The complimentary shuttle the hotel offered is great if your plane comes in during operating hours- our plane came in very late. Alilaguna and 4.2 and 4.1 boats pick up right outside. However, it's 11 euro, not the 9 the hotel told me, to pay for the Alilaguna on board. But it's a great way to get around. I feel like we got the worst room in the place- I hope we did. I hope there isn't a worse room. I wish they'd asked for more money to bump us to a better room. I would have paid up. Must also mention how dark the corridor was. My husband tripped. We looked for switches- no joy. Do not stay in room 147. Ask for some kind of view. It's pretty claustrophobic with out one.

I admit I was not fond of our construction view, and I was surprised that some rooms were on the first level. We were there on a guided tour of Italy and only had to stay here 2 nights. I liked that we were RIGHT off the water. The room was clean but small, and not very many towels. We Americans apparently LOVE our towels, cause when I asked for more the guy asked 'how many'?? We love towels in hotels bc we don't have to wash them! I don't know if this is specific to Italy or Europe, but our key card plugged into the wall for electricity! There was a slot on the wall where we had to keep a card in to keep the lights on. No one told us this! Wonder if other hotels do this. The private dining room for our tour was nice, and the breakfast was delish, lots of variety. we took advantage of a BOGO drink special at the bar in the lobby. The waiter even helped us out when we paid cash but our bill was charged anyway. The staff was civil, not 'warm' but not 'cold' either. Our 2nd night we ate in the restaurant, as by 8pm in that area almost nothing is open. We already ate in nearby Osteria Duomo (check out that review soon) and we had a VERY early day the next day. Service was slow but the food was good: Burrata cheese with tomatoes and anchovy, amuse bouche bread and chicken salad, filet steak and veggies.

This place is very far from Venice and is hard to get to at the best of times. A 30-minute water bus each way to Venice. Don't waste your time and money and ruin your vacation staying here. To make matters worse the night I booked there was a water bus strike and the only way to get there was a water Taxi for 90 Euro each way. Totally unreasonable. I asked to cancel and they charged me 300 Euro for not staying there and not being able to get there due to the strike. Terrible customer service and they were very rude to me.

Excellent launch pad for your adventures around Murano and Venice. With the shuttle boats stopping just steps from the front door to the spotless environment. The rooms were up to date and the Turkish bath was a pleasant rejuvenation station! What a gem!

I don't really understand the bad reviews, everyone was super nice to us, we didn't have any issues. Nice, quiet location and they have a free water taxi service to and from hotel (you just have to book it like a day in advance, I would advise calling before if you're trying to get from the train station or airport, we didn't know they offered this service until after we got here). They also sent us a bottle of Prosecco on arrival for our anniversary, and our room was really clean, modern and very nice. Believe me, my husband is a NEAT FREAK and he was super impressed. Anytime we needed something from housekeeping, they brought it to us within minutes. We had a construction view but that didn't bother us at all. They have a daily breakfast, which is really good, nice selection! Our last night here, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was great! Overall very happy we stayed here.

Highly recommend the service at this Hyatt. More specifically, Stan - the best bartender in Venice. Please do yourself a favor and take the spritz master class while you stay. It is an amazing experience and you will leave with the knowledge on how to make many different kinds of spritz and more drinks than you can finish in a sitting. 10/10

Worst Hyatt location I've ever experienced. The front desk staff is terribly rude, they do not know what they are doing. I stay at Hyatt hotels about 100 nights per year. I will never and will make sure that anyone that I know, never stays at this location. Absolutely awful.

Writing this review from our stay back in October 16th, 2019. Times like these make me really appreciate the wonderful experience me and my fiancé had when we stayed in Murano Island at the Hyatt Centric. A special shoutout to Fabiola Amadi and the rest of the front office, who coordinated our transportation to the island and our local tours at no extra costs. I informed her and the front that I would be proposing to my then girlfriend and they made sure to provide every request and who to contact as far as touring and events. After waiting for an extra hour for our room to be ready, we received a free upgrade to their 2nd floor master suite. By far the most luxurious and heart felt experience. My fiancé and I can't wait for another opportunity to visit and pray for Italy's recovery!

Really nice property near Venice, Italy but that is the end of the good news. Front desk staff is incredibly impolite, unprofessional and another example of why the U.S. treats visitors far better than any country in Europe. The front desk staff at this hotel made us feel as if we were doing them a favor by staying here. I will never recommend this establishment and it's a reason why we generally always stay at Marriott properties. Do NOT stay here.
