Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa | World's best golf and spa resorts

"Seven pools, three restaurants, two championship golf courses and a spa – this is not so much a resort as a luxury family playground, nestled in the stark desert landscapes of the Coachella Valley, only 30 minutes from Palm Springs. The facilities are uniformly excellent, from the hard-court tennis courts (which have hosted professional tournaments) to the shimmering pool and varied programme of treatments at the Agua Serena Spa. There’s a terrific kids’ club, the poolside cabanas come with flat-screen TVs and the enormous gym has every conceivable piece of equipment. Transfers to and from the golf courses are included in the resort fee. " - Fionn Davenport

We booked our stay here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We booked their 2 bedroom villa with the premium backyard and let me just say it was an incredible experience. They had everything that we needed in the room. They were so attentive and made sure to accommodate all our needs. The staff is incredible from start to finish their hospitality is unmatched. We will definitely be staying here again. They even left us some champagne and a little cake for my sister! The perfect place for a family, there’s something for everyone at this resort.

We had a very good experience at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells. The restaurants were fantastic both evenings we dined there. The restaurant breakfast buffet was good, but a bit pricey for what it included. That being said, service during our entire stay was fantastic! All servers, bellhops and front desk staff went above and beyond. ||Our room was clean and well-appointed and we felt it was a decent value for the mid-week prices we booked at. We mostly visited for the waterpark amenities, which we enjoyed quite a bit. The pools were crowded, but it's a popular spot. The cabana rentals make a big difference in the pool experience if you can get one as then you know you have a reserved seat and dedicated waitstaff to help you throughout the day. Again, service by the pool was fantastic as well. Bartenders were hustling all day, even in the heat. ||Our only real disappointment with our stay was that there was no kids club. We had read some outdated travel blogs that listed this as a great resort for kids with a "Club Hyatt" kids club so parents could enjoy a spa day or romantic dinner for some alone time. My understanding is that, while there may have been a program like this in the past at this location, it is not an amenity that is currently offered. Parents, note this going in. ||We visited the nearby "Living Desert" and it was awesome! It was hot while we were there so we went early in the day and it worked out great. There's also a splash pad at the Living Desert so bring water clothes for the kiddos if you visit.||Overall, we had a lovely trip and would return happily to this location for a short stay, although for a more luxury or longer experience, we would probably look for something with a kid's club of some sort or babysitting option.

Beautiful property with great rooms. We had a nice view of the golf course. The room was clean and cool. The pools are awesome, lazy river is fun and they have an adults only after hours pool. The only complaint that seemed to be common with rooms is the sofa bed quality was not good. Ours broke and other room's were too. That was an inconvenience. But if they fix that issue, the rest of the property is amazing! The valet staff are the best I have ever experienced. They were friendly, helpful, quick and took great care of my car. The servers in our cabana were on point! They kept us fed and with drinks in hand all day. Staff was top-notch. Very impressive. I enjoyed my stay.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms were incredibly spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The highlight was definitely the amazing pool area and lazy river, such a fun and relaxing setup that made our trip feel like a true getaway. Valet and room service were top-notch, super quick and professional. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, which made the whole experience even smoother. The property was well-maintained, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Google
The best outdoor water experience — 5+ pools, a lazy river, water slides and splash pads!! Clean pools, attentive service and clean rooms and grounds! Rooms are in excellent condition. Great spot for families with kids of all ages.||||Last year there was comfortable seating all around the lazy river and surrounding pools. One suggestion is to keep more comfy pool loungers out by the pools, instead of uncomfortable Adirondacks and non-cushioned sling chairs. The hotel was at 20% occupancy, and most of the seating around the pools was cabanas and loungers for +extra fee.

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas Stay: 8/29/25 – 8/30/25 This property has many strong points, but also several areas that need attention. Arrival & Dining The entrance and parking setup is confusing, though staff members were consistently friendly and welcoming. Valet service was $37/day with an extra $10 fee for guaranteed covered parking. Check-in was smooth and the lobby spotless. Food at Camocha was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and burger. Room (8/10) The room was comfortable, with clean sheets, towels, and a nice-sized bathroom (soaking tub, detachable showerhead, quality amenities). The minibar setup with fridge, coffee, and water was thoughtful (water refill stations located near elevators). A few issues stood out: dusty closet top (left smears on my bag), dirty “Please Help Conserve” cards placed on fresh towels, unplugged lamps, and minor wear on walls and rug. Facilities Meeting Rooms: Several nice meeting rooms, bathrooms, plus an upstairs lounge/waiting area with board games and tables. Fitness & Spa: Once found, the gym and spa were excellent, well-equipped, climate-controlled, spa had relaxing lounge areas. A building map is provided at check-in, but the signage could be clearer (exit the building and turn left, don't go up the stairs). Pool & Glow Party: Mixed experience. The 18+ pool was calm and clean, but the lounge chairs by the lazy river were stained. The glow party had fun lighting, music, and slides, but was overcrowded and understaffed. Inner tubes ran out quickly, adults cut in line, adults and children alike jumped into the lazy river, and many children were left unsupervised in unsafe ways. Safety and staffing improvements would make a big difference. Checkout Billing included a mistaken double charge for valet and self-parking, but staff corrected it quickly. Safety Concern The elevator doors closed quickly and struck my arm hard enough to leave a bruise. Management responded promptly with maintenance and an ice pack. I appreciated their fast action. Overall This resort has friendly staff, clean common areas, and great dining, spa, and entertainment potential. However, clearer signage, stronger pool safety/staffing, attention to housekeeping details, and elevator maintenance are needed. With these improvements, it could easily live up to the Hyatt brand’s high standards.

Google
The rooms were pretty standard for a Hyatt. The shower had a nice strong stream, which isn't always the case hotels. Our room came with a batch of spider webs and dead bugs in one corner of ceiling. We advised and they came and cleaned them up, but not exactly a pleasant site upon checking in. No other remedies were offered, which is disappointed and a bit surprising. The self park lot is outside in the 110* sun. I was shocked that a hotel located is the hot desert wouldn't have covered parking. My leather seats damn near melted. The highlight of this hotel is the Waterpark. The kids loved it, so did we. We ate off property because the resort has Vegas prices for food that doesn't match the quality. That was another disappointment. We were able to find reasonable and tasty food options nearby, so not a huge deal, though would have been nice not to have to leave the property if we didn't want to.

Google
what a wonderful experience we had celebrating our anniversary! Starting with the staff being so accommodating so sweet so wonderful and the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life every detail cared for seven pools, a lazy river, incredible little market with the best pastries in the world. And it all started at the front desk, checking in with a wonderful smile of Athena! She was so wonderful so charming it’s at the tone for turned out to be one of our best hotel experiences ever we will definitely be coming back every year hopefully two or three times because everything about the location was wonderful. Great for kids great for families great for couplesand if you come in August like we did not too crowded

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, amazing staff. Lots of things to do. Multiple pools and water slides. Beds were hard. That's it.

Yelp
this is a massive, beautiful hotel! everything you want can be found here. there are 2-3 restaurants with bars included, a gym, a swimming pool with slides and a lazy river, golf, spa and more. the rooms are very clean and very nice. I had a king room that had a social area with a couch, plants and a whole balcony in it. the staff are really great and professional.

Yelp
We stayed here for the Memorial Day weekend and timed our stay perfectly. We arrived before the crowds and left after the crowds . Although it was extremely hot in the Coachella Valley this resort and its staff kept us cool. Our first impression of this place was pleasant. From the moment that we checked in with Julissa and spoke with Berto at the valet we were welcomed by a great and attentive staff. Julissa was very helpful upon our check-in and even arranged a tour of one of the villas at the request of my wife. I appreciate her, Berto, and Daniel (for the tour of the villa and property) for all being so helpful in setting the tone for our stay and things to come for the future of this property. The map and weekly calendar that are presented at check-in are nice to have when you want to participate in all of the activities on offer.  We were upgraded to newly a renovated penthouse suite on the 5th floor. It was spacious, clean, and our home during our stay. We loved the large balcony with a view of the pool(s) and mountains. It was great to have a full bathroom with dual sinks, shower, bathtub, and a lot of storage. There is a powder room and another closet by the wet bar, and a large sectional couch and table in the living room. With this hotel eventually becoming a Grand Hyatt they offer Balmain products instead of Pharmacopia in the bathroom. This Balmain scent was specifically made for this resort. The resort offers a lot of great amenities. With a 24-hr gym, 2 full sized tennis courts, and Pickleball courts, a wellness spa that offers classes. They have multiple pools, 2 large water slides, a lazy river, an adults-only pool and a hot tubs. There seemed to be something for everyone. Due to the heat, we didn't rent the bikes, but they offer bikes for guests on the property and if the weather was cooler, we would definitely use them next time. This resort really has something for everyone. We saw families, couples, and groups all finding their moments at this place. I loved the gym The main restaurants, Tia Carmen and Carmocha had great service and food. We truly appreciate Melissa and her team for providing such a great experience from service to dining throughout our stay. My wife and I had a pleasure chatting with Alejandra, Donnell, Adrian, Abel, Jaime, and Arturo. Each time we dined there, whether for breakfast (delicious buffet) or dinner, it was a good time. Dinner at Tia Carmen is fine dining and a wonderful gastronomic experience that is nice, but I feel like they'll need to expand the menu to offer more accessible options for in-room dining. The service was 10/10, food 10/10, experience 12/10, but the options for dinner would be 7/10. We loved it; however, we don't see it being the type of place that you would dine at multiple times for dinner during an extended stay. I guess that's good for the surrounding area because we found some nice restaurants off property that helped us venture out to try other things. I've written a lot, but what I really want to say is that we enjoyed ourselves at this resort. I guess we're seeing it as it goes through this renovation because everything that we saw and experienced was modern and memorable. The staff was very welcoming, pleasant, and accommodating. The room was comfortable, cool, clean, and had a nice view. We loved the location and look forward to returning when the temperature is a little cooler. I am going to keep my eyes on this place for the BNP Paribas tennis tournament next year and look forward to seeing how it evolves once the renovation is complete.

Yelp
Well, Well. Indian Wells... Well would you look at that! Welcome to the Hyatt Regency Indians Wells Resort & Spa located in you guessed it.... Indian Wells, California! C'mon, take my hand... Let's go on a little adventure to seek out wellness, find our wellbeing and well, Live Life to the Fullest! During a recent stay here, my family and I did just that. --Seeking out our Wellness-- When we weren't at the pool, soaking up the sun... We were on the prowl for good eats in the surrounding area. A few places we went this trip... (Vue Grill & Bar, Breakfast Republic, Yes Please Café & Bakery, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream) And when our hearts were content with the never ending rays of sunshine and the endless supply of splashing in the pool, we would resort back to our room, kick of our flip flops and Veg out until we were ready to go out and find a fun place to eat. --Finding Our Wellbeing-- When on vacation, nothing beats a little R&R with your family. Laying on the beach chairs, getting the perfect tan, sipping on that margarita and watching your kids jump into the pool over and over and over again saying, "Daddy, watch me, Daddy watch me", never gets old. Not only does this place have multiple pools to choose from, but a relaxing lazy river and 2 different water slides are on site for both kids and adults. Pro tip: The pool area gets insanely busy!!! We came on Memorial Day weekend and finding pool chairs is nearly impossible if you come later in the afternoon. Definitely make it a "pool day" and come early to grab a place to sit. --Live Life to the Fullest-- Remember... It's the Desert. It's gonna be hot. There are spontaneous dust storms. So take advantage of the shade. Blast that A/C. And Drink lots of water. While here, come play a little tennis or pickle ball. Book yourself a massage. Play a round of golf. Binge watch the Lifetime network in your room. Whatever you decide.. Just. Have. Fun.

Yelp
This place rocks! SUCH a great place to take the kids with tons of water activities! Great pools, lazy river, waterslides! The staff is ALL very friendly, especially Melissa Guzman (food and beverage manager) she went above and beyond, top notch customer service, which is rare these days! She made sure our stay was special! A gem of a place and awesome hospitality! Restaurants and staff were wonderful too! We plan to return again :)

Yelp
This was a great place to stay while in the Palm Springs. From the moment I arrived the staff was very friendly. The valet crew outside and the front desk team were helpful and friendly the whole time. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food options down at the Citrus Market inside were plenty to keep me satisfied while I was here. This was a great stay! Thank you!

Yelp
The service at Hyatt Indian Wells is top notch! They will be switching over to Grand Hyatt indian Wells next month. They have renovated the rooms here. The paint is fresh. The decor is in a more muted neutral tones. The furniture is new. The only thing is, the door and sliding glass door need to be replaced. Guest services reached out to me before my stay to welcome me back. I mentioned I was celebrating my birthday. They had several treats and drinks in my room! How nice. Shout out to Nigi for making it happen. Also Nigi reached out after day one to see if everything was OK. I mentioned the doors and I got a credit right away onto my account and apologies. Maintenance also came quickly to fix the doors. This Hyatt is my favorite place to stay. The water park is a big hit with the kids. The location is perfect. It was very hot but the A/C works perfectly in the rooms and the common areas. The treat Hyatt Globalists very well here. I'll be back again next year for my birthday!

Yelp
This is the second summer in a row we have stayed here. We really stay here because the rooms are super nice, my kids love the lazy river and the slides, and my wife loves to stay in the spa (free if you are a globalist) all day. There are a ton of activities to do. The gym is nice and there are also Tennis and pickle ball and the courts are super nice with all the equipment at the court. There are foosball and ping pong tables, and bicycles that you can use. The onsite restaurants are nice but expensive so we would eat breakfast onsite, have snacks we brought for lunch and then like dominoes pizza for dinner (there is a Dominoes pizza and other restaurants within a 7 minutes drive. This is truly an Oasis in the desert.

Yelp
My son gifted us a weekend in Palm Springs to celebrate our anniversary during the summer. I was surprised the room we got was very modern with hardwood floors and wood paneling with a living room & balcony facing the golf course. The pool area is awesome.

Yelp
We've been coming for the last few years during Thanksgiving break. It's a bit chilly (70°) to play in the pool but supposedly to be heated but my kids said it's still cold. They do have a hot tub but it's so packed. They have a pickleball court now but it's so busy. I suggest you bring your own paddles, they have some but it's in poor shape. They also have tennis courts and other lawn games. We did a breakfast room service since we couldn't get a reservation for the first morning. The food was expensive for what you get. However, we were able to get reservation to Tia Carmen the next day. It was $40 buffet for adult and $20 per kid. It was a variety of things to eat. Hot food to pastries.
google avatar

Yelp
We just got back from our Thanksgiving stay at the Grand Hyatt. It was our first time staying there and we thought everything was well done. From the many pool selections and activities for our grandkids, to the pleasant staff, the updated rooms but especially the pre-visit help from Jesus Molina at Guest services. He ran interference for every snag we faced, couldn't have been nicer or more professional. He truly made a difference for us and contributed to our stay being so good. Thank you Jesus!!! Hope to be back again.

Yelp
I stayed at the Hyatt Regency during Father's Day weekend from Saturday to Sunday. Unfortunately, the pool was incredibly packed, and there was nowhere to sit. The weather was extremely hot, reaching into the high 100s, and you could definitely feel the heat outside. Check-in was smooth, and we received our room right away, which had a parking lot view. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the pool situation was quite frustrating. On Sunday, right when the pool opened, we saw people reserving chairs. Two men reserved 10 chairs, and we stayed in the area for over an hour without seeing them return. The same thing happened the day before: a couple left the pool area leaving their belongings to save their spot and went back to their room mid-day. A significant issue was with the billing. I was charged for a bill that wasn't mine at the pool area. Although the concierge removed it twice, a week later, I still saw the charge on my credit card bill. Even though they removed it twice, the unknown charge reappeared. This was quite frustrating and inconvenient. Parking is $30 overnight, which is something to keep in mind. While the Hyatt Regency might be a good place to stay during the weekdays, I would not recommend it for a weekend visit, especially not during busy times like Father's Day weekend. It felt like a zoo--super packed and super hot.

Yelp
A getaway dream! The staff at this hotel are incredible. Special recognition for Rene and Issac. From the time you arrive at the hotel until you leave, consider yourself in great hands. The team here goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is a perfect vacation.
google avatar

Yelp
My partner and I did a staycation here for New Year's Eve. This property is currently still going under construction. That did limit the amount of pools we were able to access during our stay. The team here was very flexible and very kind! They were accommodating to us since I've broken my foot. I I needed extra services getting around the property and they were happy to send the golf cart to our room and take me around the property. We went to the makeshift bar and the bartender there was fantastic! He gave us some great recommendations on the food, and what to do while the properties under construction. I can't wait to see what this property looks like after the construction! This is definitely a place I'd like to stay at in the near future.

Yelp
Fantastic place! Beautiful decor. Clean rooms, lots to do especially the water park with slides and a lazy river. The Spa is outstanding but the best part was the Brunch buffet on Sunday morning. Everything you could want and don't miss the smoked salmon and French toast. Bed was a bit to soft for my taste but very clean and inviting. Lovely staff and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Did I mention that the grounds are beautiful? Breath taking!
google avatar

Veronica R.

Yelp
We were here for 5 nights and we absolutely loved it! The grounds & views are spectacular. We are social butterflies and love a good bar atmosphere. The lobby bar has a great atmosphere and specifically Omar & Jesse's service was nothing less than attentive! Even when the bar was busy they know how to balance the craziness. We I'll definitely be back in the future even if we have a 5.5 hour drive. Thank you, Omar and Jesse for making our vacation that much better!

Yelp
We had a great time staying here. The recently renovated rooms are nice and the pools with the slide and lazy river is a lot of fun if you have kids. It's also nice that there are other pools to enjoy. All of the workers I encountered were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Unfortunately this was a miss for us! We got there early in hopes to check in a little earlier... unfortunately we weren't able to check in until 45 minutes AFTER check in time. We spent the extra $$ to be in the Villas. We were created with a dirty room, stained couches, looked as if the prior party had a party complete with wine splattered walls, beer cans in the back & food in the couches. Glass table tops were not wiped down either. Housekeeping was a miss!! The Valet staff, pools and amenities were the 3 stars here! Great kudos to options, lazy river & water slides! However the young staff doesn't seem to be bothered or willing to help. One evening there were no towels at the pool & we were told "sorry, you can go to the front desk and ask for some" ... let me take my wet 3 children to the front desk for towels! I asked that the spilled food (not ours) by one of the pools be cleaned up, and was told "ummm ok" and a blank stare. It never got cleaned up! This will be our last time here... looking for a better quality place to vacation

Yelp
While visiting Palm Springs, we decided to purchase a resort pass for a pool day. The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells was the resort we selected and it was HUGE! The property is beautiful - However, they fell short on accommodating us this weekend. For starters, the ADULT pool was packed at 11am when we arrived. We lucked up & were able to grab an umbrella from a kind couple who were heading out. My fiancé was contemplating upgrading us to a cabana, but I didn't think it was worth it to be honest. It took about 20 mins for a pool attendant to greet us. Adrian did the best he could to check on us and make his rounds throughout the section. Now one thing that made me raise my eye brow was constantly seeing children running around the 18+ pool area. I understand that parents need adult time, but I believe the resort should do better with enforcing that policy. Like there were babies with floaties in the adult pool. Mind you, there was a lazy river, dueling slides & two other pools available for kids. On top of that, the pool was filthy. There were dead bugs & palm tree debris all throughout the pool. We unfortunately had a better time taking a quick dip in the hot tub as it was clean (no bugs or tree debris). The food was ok. It took a while for it to come out, but it wasn't terrible. Overall, I would probably not purchase a resort pass to the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells branch again.

Yelp
Frankly would love to gatekeep this place so the masses could stay away, but 1) exceptionally clean family friendly resort, 2) service of the staff (like to mention Manager Lee and Aileen) is all about solutions, and 3) the layout of the first floor suite and outdoor patio is *chef's kiss* We'll be back with other friends and family in the future. They have potential to become an all inclusive resort and you don't have to leave

Yelp
The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells is a well-appointed and fun destination in the Palm Springs area. Inside, our recently renovated room was elegant and spacious, with a sunken living area leading to a balcony overlooking the pool areas. The colors and materials were pleasing, as was the art. The large marbled bathroom featured a full bathtub and a separate shower. Everything was new and looked great. Our room looked out over the main pools. Outside, the water features are a destination of their own. There are multiple pools, whirlpools, a lazy river, and two very fun waterslides. We spent the better part of two days in the water, moving from pool to pool with occasional floats down the lazy river and water sliding. Drinks and cafe food are available in the pool areas. We understood before we arrived that the restaurants are being renovated so I will hold off on reviewing the food except to say that, for now, there is food available in casual spots including the bar. I look forward to seeing the new restaurant options. Throughout the property, the staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning to The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells!

Yelp
Parts of the hotel are dated and they are in the middle of a renovation. We were given a hotel room with a front door that doesn't work because it was off of hinges. I think once the renovations are complete this will be a wonderful resort for families. Pros: - friendly staff. - Spacious rooms and bathroom - Great pool area with an adult oasis (part of the pool is under construction - coffee station with mini fridge in the room - TVs: easy to stream, your own app or plug-in with HDMI and USB ports - compensated for lost time, complimentary parking and late check out. Cons: - restaurant and bar is in a conference room. Was a little depressing. Limited menu. - front door broken. Took a few hours to get a new room. Really cut into our night.

Yelp
We just came back from our trip and stay there from June 13-16. Highly recommended because of the cleanliness of the room, well appointed modern furnitures, friendly, professional and attentive staff and activities that they have for everyone! There's a gym, Spa, golf course, tennis court, swimming pools for all ages, family lounge, restaurant and bar. You don't have to go anywhere! We celebrated our daughter's 8th bday which I mentioned to them, they gave us a complimentary dessert and when we arrived in our room, they also prepare some treats for her! Such a sweet gesture! We will be back for sure! Thank you for providing us a relaxing and memorable stay!

Yelp
1 star reviews are not given lightly but the Hyatt here in gorgeous Indian Wells is a 4.5 star resort among other 4 star resorts so the bar is like for like. The purpose of the trip was a conference, the Hyatt appears to be equipped to handle large gatherings like a wedding or convention. They must see a lot of diverse & various folks from across the world? Somethings could've been ignored but combined for the purposes of the review, I will highlight. It is 2023 and we are in California, how does their executive chef or catering team, not know vegan food? It is very easy to cook the same way forever and never challenge yourself to learn anything new or creative. What a shame. Hyatt should strongly invest in another executive chef and or training for them and their staff on what is Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, and other common food allergies. It was clear to me they did not have a clue what vegan was. It was insulting to say the least. Plated lunch: I was the very last person to get their plated lunch & honestly, I'm pretty sure it was NOT vegan as the orzo rice looked very creamy and identical to the chicken dishes. Likely cooked with Chicken broth and or parmesan cheese. After that was dessert, carrot cake. The tables were served their carrot cake and I was served nothing. My table obviously felt so uncomfortable with me sitting there with no food at all, and it was awkward for me too. Dessert was obviously not coming. After pestering, I got a bowl of berries. Which we had for breakfast. Dinner buffet: I am told I get a separate dish? I don't understand why they couldn't figure out how to have vegan in the buffet? Just have some sautéed veggies for the taco bar. Some peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, & for dessert some fruit pies with no butter. Marriott and other resorts have been able to accommodate Vegans the last 7 years but this high-end resort can't? So my plated entrée for the dinner buffet, I kid you not, a plate of roasted corn w/ slivers of Brussel sprouts & almonds. Other complaint is their coffee is awful. Please offer other alternative roasts or beans. They were terribly strong, dark, and bold, a light or medium roast would be much appreciated. I must add that at our conference the AC was unnecessarily cold. I was pounding the coffee to stay warm. At our buffets and group dinners, the staff was a bit abrupt. We're talking at the table, "more water?!" It is empty so yes please. They fill the cups & drip water all over every time. I would've overlooked this but since I am writing it, might as well give the feedback. Lastly, on the group buffet, a colleague sat down and their chair broke and he fell to the ground. Awful! The chairs were plastic & indeed not high quality. Thankfully, he was not injured but how embarrassing. Just another detail overlooked by their catering team. Room: the bed had a large dip on the side of the bed closest to the TV. Recommendation is to perhaps rotate the mattress after each stay? Help balance that out. The bathroom(s) also could use more lights or better lighting, it was too dim. In the category of room, I will discuss the Bluetooth digital key that most resorts offer. Hyatt offers it via their app. I do recommend downloading the app. However when it decides to no work, they can't reset the digital key for you remotely, they told me to come all the way down to the lobby and get a plastic key card. I don't know why my digital key stopped working one afternoon but it did. Amenities: I did not use the spa or pool but I used the gym. The gym is too small for the size of the resort. Every day it was too crowded. They need an outdoor running trail. Overall, I'd say this Hyatt has areas of improvement. Comparing to other resorts like for like, they are not a 5 star resort. Perhaps a 3 star but due to the catering issues, I cannot justify that. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.

Yelp
This was my first time staying at this resort. We typically stay at the Westin Desert Willow or JW Marriott. I was extremely impressed with the service and quality of the hotel. We had a little issue with our room in the beginning and the hotel staff immediately took care of it. Even upgraded us for the inconvenience. They found out it was my daughters birthday and treated us like family. Mr. LEE UK was super responsive with their text help line and appreciate all he handled for us. Make sure to book with your AMEX platinum as you receive $100 hotel credit, 30$ per person up to 2 people credit for breakfast and a $25 hotel food credit. As well as late check out, early check in, and upgraded room. We traveled with my 13, 10, and 5 year old girls and they had such an amazing time at the pools, slides, and lazy river. 100% recommended and will definitely go back.

Yelp
I've stayed here many times over the years. But I had a strange visit. There were high points and low points. The low points were service everywhere outside of the restaurant/bar. Our first impression was a valet yelling at me as I was trying to get my toddler and dog out of the car. We were off to a bumpy start. The front desk says yes we'll send up items you ask for and it never arrives. After 3 hours, a direct call to housekeeping got us a pack n play for my son to sleep in. Housekeeping never did deliver a blow dryer though. The a/c doesn't go below 68 unfortunately so it got as warm as 74 until the unit kicked on again. The high points were the amenities specifically the pools and splash pad. Those were great in the 117 degree heat. Also great were the staff in the restaurant and bar. They have lots of high chairs although I brought my own portable high chair. Another high point was the comfy bed and a market/ cafe downstairs too. If you ask the coffee place or the bar/ restaurant for milk to give your toddler, they offer it free of charge. Kids also eat free buffet style. I was a fan of that because then you can feed your child before they start to tantrum. Overall, I'd likely return and hope the front desk staff and valet maybe get some additional training in customer service.

Yelp
Usually post at the Ritz up on the hill or one of the Skin Jobs downtown, but the kids find the pool boring. A friend suggested we try The Hyatt, kids, fun pool and Water Slides!. This was all true EXCEPT this is a crowd who brings in their own coolers of beer and food. Wooch! I wasn't expecting too much... even the kids menu pool food was bad, Kids pushed back on the French fries. It is something, after a $300 pool tab, to watch those in the know to dump their melted ice checks into the planters. $1,200 a night!?! FULL PASS #TrailerPark #Dump

Yelp
First time here! I was very excited because I toured the bathroom, the bedroom, and checked out the pool area.

Yelp
I'm deeply disappointed to share my experience Hyatt Regency, an establishment I've always held in high regard. Our recent stay, however, was far from the standard we've come to expect, and it's with a heavy heart that I write this Our room had several issues, from a malfunctioning jacuzzi , bbq not working , the room was dirty and not to mention the renovations through out the resort . It's not to standard for that this hotel is use and other things not working making our stay less than comfortable. Attempts to get these problems resolved were met with delayed responses and temporary fixes, which only added to our frustration. The service, which we've previously found impeccable, was notably lacking. Simple requests seemed to go unnoticed, and the overall ambiance was more chaotic than relaxing. It's especially disheartening to write this review because we've always held Hyatt Regency in such high regard. We've had wonderful stays here in the past, but this experience has left us feeling disappointed and let down. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the resort, highlighting areas that need improvement to regain the standard of excellence it once held.

Yelp
Came here during Coachella and highly recommend! It's a little bit of a drive from the venue but so worth it. I didn't really enjoy the amenities since I was at the festival all day and checked in very late at night but the grounds are very big. There's multiple pools, golf, dining, tennis and more it's very cute. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. They have a star visa and marker deli that was very convenient . The area felt very safe and the room was clean and modern. They also had cute toiletries I believe they were balmain or givenchy I don't remember but they were cute and restrooms /showers are modern and perfect. Defy best choice on this side :)!

Yelp
It's been almost a month since I requested a refund, but I still haven't received a refund. When can I get it? Mr. Burnley, you asked me to contact me by email, but you didn't respond when I contacted you. Is this how you usually handle things? It seems like there is no one at Hyatt who can handle the job other than this person.

Yelp
Let's start with the positives: These are the most genuinely friendly hotel employees I've ever encountered. The previous best was the Maui Four Seasons but that was a more corporate friendliness. These Hyatt employees were genuinely easy on the nerves and did everything they could to make things nicer. Front desk, housekeeping, parking and a special shoutout to Omar in the bar. He saw me watching the Giants game on my phone and went out of his way to put it on one of the TVs for me and was generally outstanding the entire four night stay. The downside is that the feel of the place is more Disney than Palm Springs posh. The hotel is known for it's pool and waterslide which means there are a LOT of families and a LOT of kids and the hallways on the first floor are a play area. I have three kids so I'm not kid negative but there is a decidedly unromantic feel to the place. The foodservice could stand a major upgrade. I didn't have anything bad but the nicer restaurant could use a boost. The bar food was also a notch below what I was expecting. My wife enjoyed the spa services (especially the facial which she raved about for days) and the room was spacious. All in all, a nice stay kiddos notwithstanding.

Yelp
Great stay. Stayed 4 nights. Mon-Fri. Check in and check out was a breeze. Parking was convenient. Room was really nice and comfortable. Grounds were well manicured and clean. The pool area was really fun. My family and I enjoyed the water slides and the lazy river. Staff was friendly throughout the property. I felt welcomed and safe. My only complaint and it's minimal is that the pool restaurant/bar didn't offer bone in wings and hot dogs. Not a big deal. I plan on staying here again. I recommend this property.

Yelp
Wonderful property! Check in staff very pleasant and professional. We opted to upgrade to one bedroom suite at an offered discounted price. And so glad we did. Room was amazing! Waterpark was outstanding! Copious pools, deck chairs, and waitstaff. Rented a cabana which is a must do. Staff authorized late check out at no cost. 5* for sure!

Yelp
The only restaurant in the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells, Lantana, was our go-to for breakfast every day while there for a conference. They had a choice of breakfast buffet ($30 USD) or menu offerings for half the price which were more than sufficient. Our server, Norma, took amazing care of us; never letting our coffees run down and even remembering what kind of tea I drank after the first day! They went above and beyond to accommodate us and we were so grateful for the excellent service'

Yelp
This is not a place for people without kids. Came here for a staycation with my husband and didn't enjoy overall much. The property is a bit dated. Soundproof is lacking. You can hear kids screaming at the pool in the morning which can wake you up. And the AC is super loud! Pools are very crowded. There's an adult only pool which can be an escape if you don't have kids. Everywhere else is crowded, including the lazy river. Slides are fun. Hard to find an empty lounge chair unless you go early. As Globalist, we get complementary breakfast at Lantana but they somehow charged us 4%. A good place for people with kids but not so much for people without.

Yelp
Love this hotel! It is the people that make it amazing. The valet guys and gals are so incredible and set the tone for a great experience, then the front desk always go out of their way to accommodate my abnormal requests every time I show up. But the highlight of the entire hotel is the bar staff. Every single one of them make me feel like the most important person in the world. They suggest menu items and drinks that always deliver. Tonight Carlos suggested the Chicken Pot Pie and it's literally shaped like a chicken and tasted amazing! The entire menu is great and the chef clearly takes pride in his work. Thanks for the hospitality and great experience as always!

Yelp
I'm surprised by all the negative reviews, because my husband and I had a wonderful stay at the resort. We stayed for 3 nights, did nothing but drink and relax by the pool, went down the water slides, floated in the lazy river, booked massages, spent time in the steam room, sauna, cold plunge pool and spa showers. The resort was probably 10-15% capacity when we visited at the beginning of May. We literally had the pools to ourselves during certain times of the day, so we bounced from one area to another, hung out in the water slide and lazy river and ordered drinks at the pool bar. On day 2, we brought in our own snacks and alcohol to reduce the bills a little. We used ice and cups from the hotel and it ended up saving quite a bit of money. However, I have nothing negative to say. We enjoyed drinks and a quesadilla in the hotel bar thoroughly. The bartenders there do a solid pour of wine and the chicken quesadilla is on point. We also ordered food to go inside the hotel and had the steak bites, roasted potatoes, chicken strips, fries and cake. All were very good and I have no complaints. The staff all around was friendly and very helpful. We plan on coming back and spending a weekend there to lounge by the pool and get another spa service.

Yelp
We had a family vacation there and totally enjoyed our stay....the kids and adults enjoyed the pool experience very much! The restaurants and the market was excellent! Last but not the least the front desk staff especially Aileen was very professional and accommodating and helpful. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience!

Yelp
The rooms are nothing special, but the extras are what makes this a place we will come back to. Our eleven-year-old loved the water slides and the lazy river. The hotel staff are AMAZING!! Everyone was so friendly and made our stay feel special. Also, if you plan on getting some exercise on your trip you can ask for this running/walking guide.

Yelp
Wanted to night swim on Sunday as resort guests, but pools were still packed at 8-8:30pm. Pools weren't the cleanest, there was a storm Sunday so I think that made the issue worse. Beautiful resort, but wasn't impressed with pool cleanliness. How many pool day passes are sold daily? Seems like these hotels overbook the day passes at resort guest experience expense. Wouldn't ever go back on a weekend during summer.

Yelp
Pros: -awesome lazy river with lots of floatys -fun water slides -nice fitness center -nice exterior facilities and grounds Cons: -dirty pool water, my daughter got swimmers itch from the hot tub. Hot tub was murky -bathroom smelled like sewer gasses the whole visit -upon arrival room had the last guests food and half drank water bottles. Sauce was on table. Dusty. -construction workers coming and going. Loud bangs on wall and sound of their equipment outside balcony -limited on site food options. They have a grab and go area. Plus a meeting room they call a "restaurant" but def not a restaurant. More like your eating lunch in a conference room. -no kid activities or kids club. Asked about any activities at front desk. She said they didn't have any. On the day we were leaving, we discovered that we could In fact rent bikes. -self parking was strange with room key or ticket. Inconsistent charges for self parking. -bell staff was rude when we asked for waters -room only had 2 bath towels but we were a party of 4 -maid service did not refill empty tissue boxes and did not bring enough water bottles for coffee machine -weak drinks -no microwave in room. Since they don't really have many on site food options, a microwave would be nice. -Amazon fresh will not deliver to this location. No instruction as to what Amenities the hotel had. Would be nice to be given a schedule. Or list of what we could do or where we could eat at the hotel. With hours of operation. We paid a lot for this hotel. It was VERY expensive. For this rate, I expected a much higher level of service and more amenities. We ended up having to rent a car to eat most of our meals and pay for off site entertainment.

Yelp
Best weekend! Customer service from the valet to front desk to pool esp Melissa in the pool area! She was the best and ensured our stay with kids was perfect. She was great and we are coming back. Excellent hotel with the best service

Yelp
We've stayed here several times now, and it's now one of our favorite hotels to take our kids with us to. It's always very clean throughout the hotel, pool areas and rooms, and the staff is all always prompt, polite and friendly, and so with our kids as well. We really enjoy the pool areas. It's one of few hotels where we enjoy staying at the hotel during our stay. There are several pools (some for adults only, if you prefer), a splash pad for younger kids, a smaller water slide for the smaller kids and two larger water slides for the bigger kids, and a lazy river. It's also nice to be able to order food at the counter and have it served out to wherever you happen to be lounging around. The prices aren't the least expensive for what's served, but I feel that's expected when you're staying at a hotel. Overall, we always love our stay and we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Went to PalmSprings/Indian Wells for a fun birthday weekend. Highlights: Pool, valet and service staff Low points: Room was filthy and had roaches! The front desk team is substandard. Front desk supervisor promised to follow up and never did. All in all I wouldn't recommend this hotel. You cannot rely on a $350/night (+$40/night resort fee) room to be clean. Nor can you rely on management to follow or resolve issues! Avoid this place... or enjoy your filthy bed and roaches!

Yelp
The pools are too warm for a summer vacation. They don't clean the bathrooms well. There was broken glass in the shower and toothpaste marks on the bathroom countertops. EV charging is limited. Their hotel staff member Gregory Martin entered our room while we were changing and scared my autistic son. We had a horrible customer service from Kennedy Rodas and we will never recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
I came to the Hyatt Regency for a stay-cation. I was only here for 1 night. When I got there, the lady checking us in was nice and gave me a free upgrade. I decided on the view of the golf course (I figured that would be quieter). The room was pretty big! The room I got was a suite and had a separate living room area. I was bummed that I was only staying 1 night. I also asked for extra blankets, which I got promptly. The property was also super nice and I took a nice stroll in the afternoon. The reason why I am giving Hyatt 3 stars is their on site restaurant. I had a dining credit, so I opted for takeout at Agave (which is one of the only few restaurant open late). I ordered a variety of things, including a Cubano, seafood pasta, salad and soup. All were not good at all and super flavorless. If they are going to upcharge, then I would at least think that the food would be good. I ended throwing away most of the food and ate my leftover sandwich from lunch. Very very disappointing. Although dinner was not good, I do think that their breakfast buffet was pretty tasty. They had variety of items (pancakes, bacon, fruits, pastries) and also had an omlette that you could order. I would definitely recommend the breakfast. All in all, I think I will definitely come back here. But, will definitely skip the restaurant (aside from the breakfast).

Yelp
Was expecting much more from this resort. Our check in time was 4pm and we arrived early at 3:50, but was told our room would be ready in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later it's not ready, but an "identical room" was, so we went there. NOT EVEN CLOSE! The room we were moved to was a major downgrade and only had a single bed for a family of 5. We also happened to go the weekend of a dance competition that was not previously stated anywhere on their website. As a result of this competition, there was only one restaurant and a cafe open the entire time as restaurants had shut down to become a dance studio. When we finally did get down to the pool, it was past 5:00pm and it was disgusting! Even the 18+ pool was littered with leaves and dead bugs. Overall, the lobby and traffic reminded me more of a hotel rather than a 4.0 - 4.5 star resort. Definitely the opposite of a calm, relaxing getaway with family.
