Had a wonderful stay with my family at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile. Our room wasn’t ready yet but they had Evian water for us to drink and some ice cream! The elevators are smart ones grouping people with similar floors to certain elevators which is efficient. The room was very nice and clean. Bathroom good too. We lucked out with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The service is wonderful too, no fees for package receiving and they brought it to my room when I was out. Would stay here again!

Icham was brilliant. Very friendly service and very professional. This exceeded my expectations! He made our travels with a baby so much easier! We had a cot provided and the room view of the Eiffel tower was sensational. Would definitely recommend and hopefully visit again in the future! Also the breakfast was a fantastic spread, omelettes made by request and lots of options. Only request I have is for management to double check the functioning of the baby chairs for the breakfast as this was not in 100% working order but we managed. Thanks again Hyatt!

Really a nice hotel. Rooms are small but adequate. The only issue we had was with the bathroom. There is absolutely no storage other than 1 shelf under the sink that you have to share with the towels. No hooks to hang where to take your cosmetics out of your bags. Breakfast is included if you pay for it with your reservation. Otherwise, it's $32 euros. Everyone was very nice, polite and helpful. You can get rooms there that overlook the Eiffel Tower.

Very expensive for what it offers. The room is quite small and barely fits a couple(we were in 2 adults and 1 child). The view is splendid(we got the Eiffel Tower view). The hotel provides a comprehensive set of restaurants and cafeterias at reception floor with reasonable prices, and there are plenty of options in the neighborhood. The reception service was trash, not respecting my checking choices(including paying an extra 60 euros for 2-hours earlier checkin), which has been solved after a lot of discussions. This is not what I do expect as a Hyatt customer and not what I’ve seen in their hotels around the world.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully designed. The room sizes were decent comfortable, clean, and with plenty of space to relax. Housekeeping came daily and always left fresh bottled water, which was a nice touch. The bed was incredibly cozy, with both soft and firm pillows so I could sleep exactly the way I like. The highlight of my room was the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower waking up and winding down each day with that view made my mornings and evenings truly special. The breakfast was another standout absolutely delicious with a wide variety of fresh, flavorful options that I looked forward to every morning. The staff were friendly, warm, and always helpful whenever I needed anything. I also loved that the hotel has a small convenience store right inside, along with a little Starbucks next to it for quick coffee runs or snacks. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris!

I stayed at Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile during my trip to Paris and had a great experience. The hotel is located in a very convenient area with a shopping mall, supermarket, and even a Starbucks inside the building—super easy for daily needs. One thing I appreciated most was how safe I felt, even when returning to the hotel late at night. The surrounding area is well-lit and active, which made me feel comfortable walking alone. The hotel features a large fitness center with clean, modern equipment. I used the gym every day, and it was one of the best facilities I’ve seen at a hotel in this price range. It’s also very easy to get around the city—the metro station is just a short walk away, and everything felt accessible. One evening I ordered delivery, but due to the rain and multiple hotel entrances, the driver got confused. I couldn’t communicate well, but the hotel staff kindly stepped in and helped me sort it out. Overall, the service was excellent, the location super convenient, and the environment felt safe and welcoming. Highly recommended

I stay at this hotel very often. Their rooms are small but this is normal in Paris. It is a big hotel with many rooms, so the elevators can get very congested. The staff is generally good and friendly with few exceptions. They have a very good lunch buffet during the week, featuring good quality sea food, meat and pasta. The gym is very good with good equipment but due to the size of the hotel it can get very busy early in the mornings. One side of the hotel has fantastic views to the Eiffel Tower and the Arc of Triumph.

This hotel was in a great location close to|The metro and great for walking to restaurants. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean although a bit dated. The room was very loud from the street traffic but that isn’t really something they can fix. If you’re not an early riser this place might not be the best but the street traffic, horns, emergency vehicles etc woke us ip daily. Otherwise this place was lovely|for a family room which is hard to come by in Paris!

Yelp
We had an absolutely wonderful weeklong stay here. It's a bit further from Louvre etc, but well-located next to Neuilly Porte Maillot which has direct lines to Eiffel Tower, Musée d'Orsay, Notre Dame, and Opera House. It's also one of the only high-rise hotels in Paris, which makes for a quieter room and great views of the city. (I've stayed at more centrally-located, charming places in Paris and been woken up by street noise.) It's attached to the Palais des Congres mall, with 24 hr parapharmacie (not crowded, better experience and sometimes pricing than City Pharma!), grocery store, Starbucks, movie theater, and clothing stores. Most importantly, indoors access to Metro! Many restaurants within walking distance - L'Auberge DAB had excellent razor clams. The rooms are sizable, all with great city views or Eiffel Tower views. Beds were one of the best hotel pillow/mattress I've ever had, firm and supportive yet comfortable and cozy. Light switches and outlets next to bed for phone charging. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water every day. Housekeeping kept the rooms immaculate. Amazing soundproofing - could not hear any noises above/below/next door. Don't miss the amazing club lounge, which has a great full breakfast spread, Eiffel Tower views, and endless supply of beverages drinks all day 7am-9pm! At night, have a drink at Windo SkyBar to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night. The truffle fries are especially delicious. Overall, I could not recommend this hotel more. Yes, you could be closer to all the tourist action, but I also like to go back to a newer, clean, quiet, comfortable room with elevators, top-notch service, and views.

Yelp
Kicked off our European summer by staying at Hyatt Regency Paris. As an Explorist, we were given a warm welcome at check-in by Adrien. Loved that we were in the highest floor given the Club Lounge were just a few steps above our floor. Breakfast in the Club Lounge was pretty good, choose your own coffee and self-serve, eggs, bacon, some cold cuts, fruits, and more importantly, had actually good croissants and pastries that you don't necessarily have to go out of your way for boulangeries because they were pretty good already. Loved the juicer in the morning, just put a couple of oranges and you've got some fresh orange juice. And of course, that incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. We also got to enjoy some of the Club Lounge's Cocktail hours and they had minimal offerings, there was a wine dispenser where you're presented with red or white wine options but for someone who loves champagne and sparkling wine, there wasn't any so I'm hoping they work on this for the future. Certainly lots of pros esp. with the rooms being modern and clean, the only cons were location, this is not very central but if you don't mind an 8 minute walk to the metro, you'll be set. We did use Uber all the time given we wanted to make the most of seeing everything vs. spending so much time commuting via metro. The other con is the air conditioning (AC) situation in the room, it was showing 17 degrees Celsius whenever we tried to adjust it but always only gave off 23 degrees Celsius almost as if a centralized setting so for people who like sleeping in cold rooms, this will be quite an adjustment for you, especially during summer as it was certainly humid. So just keep that in mind. Overall, from a World of Hyatt Explorist member, still a very good Hyatt Regency hotel, one that could still be great if they work on the opportunity areas. Merci beaucoup, Hyatt Regency Paris! Link to my video for our stay: https://youtu.be/YX_VIjX5tjA

Yelp
So thankful for this hotel and everyone in the family (all ages from children to grandparents) loved our multi-day stay here. We have great memories of this place and hope to return. First, the club access was wonderful with lovely buffet breakfast (a daily highlight), outstanding views from the highest building in the area, great service, and expansive seating area. The evening appetizers were also great and something we looked forward to daily. Location is perfect right near Metro station and nice 15min walk Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysee, and my favorite chocolate maker in the world (Bonnat on Saint Honore). Also connected to an indoor shopping center. Lobby is very spacious and service was always great. We had a stunning room on top floor with tall ceilings and beautiful common area with spacious sofa, slab island, and a good-sized table for two. Family room (two interconnected rooms) worked great. This hotel is one of a kind, as I doubt the area would allow another such towering property to be built again. To get here from London, we took Eurostar and then an Uber from Gare du Nord to this hotel. Also took Uber from hotel to CDG. Very convenient.

Yelp
Built in the 1970's this 31 story tower provides an extraordinary Parisian city scape. The reception associates and concierge services staff we kind, friendly and very helpful. Our room overlooked the Bois de Boulogne park and the iconic Eiffel Tower. It was fresh, clean and larger by European standards. The bathroom was beautifully updated and plumbing worked just fine. In room kettle for coffee and tea, as well as a small frig were nice touches.

Yelp
This hotel doesn't look particularly nice from the outside, but it is absolutely stunning inside! Our room was on a pretty high floor. The elevators are smart... too smart for many people we discovered. Our room was nicely appointed, very clean, and sadly our view was the opposite direction of downtown Paris, but it was still a lovely view from way up high! We only spent 1 night and didn't get the chance to check out any of the amenities, but the wifi was strong, the bed was comfortable, the shower had excellent water pressure, and the toiletries provided were very nice.

Yelp
This Hyatt is a well organized hotel and clean to the eyes. The lobby is open and inviting. The bar area has a great selection of appetizers and alcohol. The local lager draft is smooth, and the atmosphere was very inviting to sit for hours. Overall, the lobby area is a great place to visit friends and colleagues.

Yelp
We had a great stay here. Stayed 4 nights in a room with Eiffel Tower view. So worth it. Rumor has it that rooms in Paris are small, I honestly felt like these were a comfortable size. I also loved all of the outlet options!!Dinner and breakfast at the Mayo Restaurant was delicious and the staff was so amazing, they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I was also so pleased when the hotel let us barrow umbrellas when it rained. If you are going to use the metro this hotel is like a 4 min walk to a metro station. I only wish they would have offered some sort of airport shuttle. Even if it's only for departures. Some international flights leave really early and there is no metro option.

Yelp
We have a recent 3 night stay here and enjoyed our time. It is a category 4 hotel in World of Hyatt and I was able to get the room w/ free night awards. Location: got metro station around, can see Eiffel Tower on one side of the hotel, high rise with great views, there's a shopping mall connecting to it, but the mall is mehhh, walkable distance to Arc Room: room is not big, which is expected for the city, renovated, beautiful high rise views, comfy bed, got a couch by the window, great water pressure, a lot of plugs, has a small fridge/iron Food: here is why this hotel gets 5 stars for the values, as a Globalist, we got free breakfast buffets daily, which is 29 Euro if you have to pay, great and massive choices, fresh food/fruits/breads, also there is Regency Club for the Globalist, 12pm to 9pm, you get nice snack food starting at 5 pm, I LOVE THIS PLACE, wine/cheese/fruits/pastry/soda/water you name it Service: everyone's nice there and attentive Overall it was a great stay especially I got it for free, great redemption value, great food, great room/views

Brenda D.

Yelp
Location is not convenient, good service, ok club This is not connected to the metro station. The shopping mall is about a 5min walk so a total of 8min to get to metro. Lots of stairs so not great if you've got a stroller. We ended up taking uber a lot more- we enjoy walking so if we were more centrally located we would have. 30min walk to arc de triumph. Club breakfast same daily- eggs, potato, tomato, mushroom, cheeses, pastry. Club appetizers- cheese, finger sandwiches, salad bar, hummus. Complimentary Drinks are wine dispenser. A few beers, coke and ginger ale available all day. Desserts were a disappointment especially since we were in Paris!! Great view. Amazing staff Room was clean with modern feel. We asked them to come back one day and they actually did!! Not sure I would stay again due to location but a good choice if you are fine with Ubers- beware with Olympic preparations many street closures so had a hard time getting Ubers

Yelp
Five stars is because we arrived at 12:30 a.m. and we were upgraded to a suite on the top floor, floor 34 with a nice view. The suite was a large room with a vaulted ceiling. A kitchenette with a sink and coffee pot was provided. The refrigerator contained the "bar." The bedroom was adequate size with a king size bed. The bathroom was spacious. The sinks and the multi-head shower were in one room, and the toilet and a sink were in an adjourning room with doors separating them. We loved it. The wall switches were high tech, and the floor to ceiling windows had automatic shades. The walls were white. The wood floor and trim were a light wood. The furniture included an island, dinette table, sofa and chairs. A full breakfast is included with the stay that includes lots of vegetables. The Concierge was busy. The location is a 20-minute walk to the Arc de Triumph and a one-hour walk to the Eiffel Tower. We could have stayed there for a while.

Yelp
Parissss!! What's not to love. I've been staying at so many different hotels on my twice a year Parisian trips for a good 15 years or more. And living here for that one year! Finally made it to this hotel. Known as the tallest sky scraper in Paris! (Built before they limited the heights) So unparisian, so tall but such great views too. This hotel is unlike any boutique hotels I've ever stayed. Giant , massive open air ceilings, massive lobby. Massive everything. And since I was here on a whim ( My flights/plans to Turkey from London got cancelled) and needed a place on Valentines day no less, I was glad that it was a hyatt. The suite upgrade was great. Stil in Paris so suites aren't as big. But my viewsss! I loved the views. I've never seen Paris from such height except from top of the Eiffel tour. The window cracked open, the strong wind blowing. What a rush to be that high!! My suite was nice. The regency club access was better. The brunch was also nice. Loved the bed. And the views. The general manager also came out to say hi as I checked in: Hyatt status! Love it. They were so honored to have a high stats! You're welcome :D Oh! And the bar~ windo: the sky lounge. Best views of Eiffel tour light shows at night. They had a 250 euros minimum for windows seats on Valentines. Which isnt worth it for me since I can't drink! But I can still see it from my table so that was good. Overall, love the viewsssss! I ubered everywhere but there's a metro station right across. And Laduree cafe right next door. Sacre Coeur from my room, Monmartre, some sparkles from Clichy ( Mouling Rouge), Eiffel tour and most of Paris from my room. What's not to love!!

Yelp
We were in Paris two weeks ago for our honeymoon which we kicked off with Fete Nationale (Bastille Day). I reached out to Windo Sky Bar, about 1 month prior, to make reservations for the "Sparkling Night with a View" event being held the night of July 14th. I exchanged half a dozen emails with Ms. Eva Merian who stated that we could not make a reservation but the space would be open on a first come first served basis. We adjusted our plans accordingly and shortly after arriving in Paris, we made our way to Windo Sky Bar to prepare for the evening. We arrived around 7PM to a completely empty space and were greeted by a manager who told us that we could not be seated for the night. I explained the numerous emails with his staff in which he stated that he made a "last minute change". A note to management. DO NOT offer the option of "first come first served" if it is not truly available. I would've preferred if someone said that the space was reservation only so I could continue to look for options that would be better suited for myself and my husband. And at the very least, they could have allowed us to enjoy the space for a short time before releasing our table to those with reservations. No accommodations were made. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

Yelp
I had a pretty enjoyable stay at this hotel. The location is nearby a big park and the Arc de Triomphe. You can walk to the more touristic areas if you aren't opposed to a bit of exercise. The lobby is big and open with a restaurant and bar area. There is also plenty of seating available. There are great views of downtown as well as the Eiffel Tower from many of the rooms. The bedrooms have large firm beds and comfy lounge chairs. The TV is huge, but the channels are limited to mostly news and some local French language channels (I rarely have a use for hotel TVs unless they are smart TVs). The pillows in the bed flatten out after a while so I had to use three or four of them. One of the pIllow cases still had a lingering smell of body odor so that was a bit unpleasant. There is a mini fridge and small coffee car area, which is nice if you have a longer stay. The bathroom was nice and clean, but the layout was very "European". There wasn't a lot of counter space and it was pretty cramped, but the shower was amazing. I must compliment the fitness room here. It was definitely the best I've ever seen at any hotel. There are two large rooms, one with cardio machines and the other with various cable machines and free weights. Everything was very clean, easy to use, and well maintained. Overall I would be delighted to stay here again.

Yelp
We had a 3 day extension after a cruise, and we're placed here. It's the tallest building around. So it's hard to get lost Rooms are clean We did ask for 2 twin beds, but they were placed together as one, so they was odd USB ports Make sure to bring any adapters, if you are coming from the US Ihaven't found a hair dryer, but I'm assuming the concierge would get me one--I'm just too tired to care the sky bar is great but get there early if you want a window seat--be aware, they shut down the bar (aside from wine) around 10:30 and close the bar at 11. But there is a great view of the Eiffel Tower ‍the elevators---there are SOOOO many but they are so slow. And it's a touch pad where you enter your floor, but they are very touchy. Don't just get in an elevator that's open because unless you type your floor in, I'm the outside, you cannot push the button on the inside breakfast buffet is included and there are tons of options. Bring proof of vaccination to be able to eat. short walk to the metro, for line 1; many cafes and pharmacies and stores around; short walk to champs elysee area motion lights under the nightstand help you see to get up at night yet not blind everyone there are grab and go food options, with a little Starbucks

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our week there. The staff was professional and nice. The food at the breakfast buffet was Devine. The chicken & avocado sandwiches at the Cafe were on point. It's in a good location with 2 very good restaurants across the street and a good sushi restaurant called YOYO 10 mins away. The quickie mart across the street sold very good and sweet fruit. The hotel rooms were very clean with beautiful views. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The bar upstairs was fun with a good dj & a beautiful skyline. I will stay there during my next visit in 2-3years.

Yelp
My husband & I stayed here when Hyatt just took over the Concorde Lafayette. Much of the hotel was in dire need of renovations which was in progress at the time so we weren't expecting anything too fancy. The lobby actually looked pretty nice when we walked in and checking-in was fast and convenient. They also spoke English really well which is always a plus. I also want to say the girl told us it was mandatory for the job? Memory is fuzzy on that one though. Don't quote me on that! Anywho, the floor we were placed on was not renovated yet. The hallways felt dark and narrow and our room was on the small side. This was to be expected in Paris though and I think my expectations were spot on. I opened up the curtains to get my first glimpses of Paris from up high and my oh my! I was delighted see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The sunrises were amazing and watching the Eiffel Tower twinkle at night gave me that warm & fuzzy feeling making this hotel, A-OK for me! Not the greatest, but it was in a safe area, the bed was comfy, and sitting at the window day and night was one of my favorite things. On our 2nd or 3rd day here we also discovered that it was connected to a mall. They had a really great grocery store where we stocked up on French goodies and everything was really affordable. If you're arriving in Paris by train, there's a line (Porte Maillot) that stops down the street from the hotel which makes it really convenient. I believe there's a bus from the airport that stops right on the side of the hotel as well. Do note that this hotel is located a little ways away from a lot of the main attractions so it's really not as touristy, but there's so many options to get to where you need to go. Bus, train, bikes, uber... Something to keep in mind if you decide to stay here.

Yelp
This review is two parts.... First, my friend was roofied at the Windo Skybar on the top floor of this hotel last Friday around 19:30. A young Thai woman (late 20s wearing glasses with long black hair conservatively dressed) a complete stranger who claimed to be a nurse, offered to help after my friend, who ordered and drank one Cosmopolitan, was unexplainably outside the Hyatt hotel on the street in front of the hotel with this woman an hour later. The woman, who speaks both French and English, told her she was drunk and needed food. The woman claimed she was going to "take her to a restaurant to buy her food." My friend refused to go. They both ended up back in the hotel room as the woman continue to claim she wanted to "help." The contents of my friend's purse where spilled across the bed and her cash was missing. The woman encouraged her to drink "more water." My friend refused and was in a "brown out." She was coherent enough to report her to Hyatt security with a call from her room. The woman finally left the hotel room after being met by hotel security. Rather than thoroughly investigating, hotel security dismissed the incident as my friend was "drunk." The $35 drink was mysteriously paid for at the bar. This young woman is most likely partnering with a bartender at Windo Skybar who put the roofie in the drink. If my friend had passed out, most likely all her personal belongings would have been packed into her suitcase and been stolen. Fortunately, there is a very long video saved on her phone which she doesn't remember shooting. I am encouraging my friend to report this incident to the Paris police who will hopefully work with the hotel to access more security camera footage. This evil woman is very calm and patient in the video as she was waiting for an opportunity that didn't happen last Friday night. Certainly she has done this before and she will do it again to makes or females!!! I have been to this bar many times. The view of the Eiffel Tower is fabulous. The Champagne offerings are very limited and the wine list is unimpressive. The cocktails are expensive but the view is amazing and this is the perfect way to end the day in Paris. However...Beware!!! I have also seen men on scooters steal shopping bags from the hands of older Muslim women waiting outside for cabs in the front of the hotel. Be safe!! Regarding the rooms, if you get a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower it is great to wake up and fall asleep to this majestic site. The maids, however, disregard the "Do not Disturb" signs even after calling and complaining to the front desk. I travel with solid rubber door jams to keep the maids out, who sometimes enter the rooms without knocking. Metro Line 1 and RER is close. Starbucks, pharmacy, clothing stores, and Galléries Gourmands is in a mall below the hotel...great in the winter. The Market Place restaurant in the lobby has healthy to-go options but they are very pricey. The lobby restaurant for dinner is awful. Check-in can be very slow during high season and holidays.

Yelp
this hotel has a MICE problem in the lobby. I saw a mouse twice. the restaurant staffer said that they had one in the restaurant but he thought it was gone . suggestion: shut down the hotel for two days and get the MICE out. disgusting .

Yelp
Wonderful property, centrally located with nice amenities. Great elite lounge also. Staff were extremely courteous, from front desk to concierge to house keeping, and I felt like my status with Hyatt was valued. We will definitely be back again

Yelp
We had a bad AirBNB experience and arrived here 10pm. Reservations team excellent, kind and helpful and got us one of the last rooms available. Family suite works perfectly for the four of us. Incredible Eiffel Tower views. Yes it feels like a business hotel but everything is clean and efficient. Rooms are small but well organized. Staff very nice. Reliable hotel. Metro stations nearby. We are so happy to be here.

Yelp
Hotel was great from check in to check out. Very friendly check in staff (even provided a treat for the kids). The rooms were very clean and a good size for Paris. We had a great view of the tower. The location is great as it's quiet but a quick walk to the metro or near by cafes and markets. If in Paris I would stay a

Yelp
I am a Hyatt Diamond member and I am a fan of the brand. I've stayed in all levels: Hyatt Place, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Centric, and Park Hyatt. We stayed overnight at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile in winter. It was undergoing a renovation at the time. We had a new room on the 24th floor. The new rooms are great, the room had USB charging outlets, desk area, fridge and most importantly, the bathroom had a handheld bidet feature. YES!!! All hotels really need to have this. I love Europe and Asia for understanding the situation. We had free breakfast in Halftime, what they call the sports bar. The breakfast has great variety and fresh raspberry juice! I mean how many raspberries does it take to make a whole pitcher of raspberry juice. But it was soo good! We also had drinks and appetizers there one night. We were there during the time for King cake and had the most divine cake there at the hotel. It's a marzipan delight. The view from our room was perfect! We could see the Champs-Élysées and Eiffel Tower and got a great view of the twinkling tower lights at night. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance of the hotel too. The location is right next to the metro station so it is easy to get around the city.

Yelp
I'm waivering between three and four stars on this one but will give them the benefit of the doubt. (I typically like staying at Hyatt Hotels.) They have a pretty good location - about two blocks from the Champps Elisee. We had a regular room with a King Sized bed. As with most Parisian Hotels, the rooms tend to be smaller than in the US so we did expect that. The bathroom was nice, the room was clean, and it had a refrigerator as well as a safe, both of which we used. I suppose I expected something a little different in Paris. The hotel itself is an eyesore. It is a towering building put up before Paris enacted restrictions on height. It is a typical concrete, metal, and glass structure when most of the buildings in the area are period architecture from long ago. It is also huge so with as many floors as they had (I don't remember the count), and with the hotel being full, we often had long, long waits for an elevator. Our package included breakfast and what breakfasts they offered! Table after table of great and delicious food. And, since they do so much international business they cater to many tastes. So, the choices seemed endless. It was a large buffet with unlimited plates. There were a couple of times when I really overdid it and was uncomfortable as a result. But, that was my fault entirely. My apologies to the Hyatt. Although overall the experience was good, we'll stay at a boutique hotel next time we're in Paris.

Yelp
Bonjour! I meant to write this review immediately when I returned from Europe, and nearly forgot, but, The Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile in Paris is well worth a review. I stayed on the 31st floor of this extraordinary hotel property which afforded my wife and I dreamy and glorious views of Paris, with the famed Eiffel Tower AND The Arch De Triumph in the close distance, in full view! We opened the door to our room and there in the window was the Eiffel Tower! Ahhh! Le joie de vivre!! (or however that's spelled!)... The hotel lobby is beautiful, decidedly Parisian cosmopolitan in its decor, and it is attached to a small mall! Along with restaurants, it possesses a large French grocery store, fashionable boutiques, and even includes a movie theater! My goodness! It is even attached to its own subway stop!! Merci Boocoo! (or however that's spelled!) Importantly for my friends and I, the concierge staff were extraordinarily helpful, speaking perfect English as they helped us figure out how to get to Champagne, Versailles, and more! Magnifique! (or however that's spelled!) The room was lovely, just a bit smaller than rooms in the US comparatively, (typical of much of Europe I find) but quite comfortable, exhibiting nice, clean, modern cosmopolitan decor and expected amenities. A 5 minute cab ride (10 minutes with traffic) or a lovely 12 minute Parisian walk to the Champs Elyses and your day in this wonderful world capital is off to a perfect start! The price when I stayed was a very good deal for all that you get at this grand property. There was a small problem with the air conditioner, but I'll still give it 5 enthusiastic stars since they gave us a VIP access to the top floor VIP area and lounge for our trouble, what with its extraordinary panoramic views of Paris, and seeing how the concierge service was so exceptional! Aurevoir! (Or however that's spelled!)... I recommend! Eric

Yelp
This hotel was being remodeled while we stayed there but at the time our room was one of the already remodeled rooms. The hotel was in a bit of a disarray at the time with getting around not to difficult but confusing. There was plenty of construction activity going on and quite a bit of noise as a result during the day. The staff are very helpful, the lobby is designed to allow for easy navigation and prevents from people standing on top of each, unless that is your preference of course. I found the lobby itself to be very modern and metro in design. The rooms provided a great city view as well as exceptional comfort, they were spacious and quiet at night. The location of this hotel is ideal, there is a gym literally right outside the door, there is also an excellent pub across the street, the embassy pub. I would assume now that the construction is complete the hotel is much more impressive. Overall this hotel is a great choice for anybody! Cheers!

Yelp
Update- updated my review and took away a star because of breakfast. Don't eat breakfast here. 58 euros for two people. It's very chaotic. They let too many people in. We had to wait for clean plates- all the food was running out and staying empty for lengthy periods. walk down the street for a quality and price effective breakfast We are staying here for 8 nights while in Paris. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are a descent size (when you compare to a typical Paris hotel room I assure you this one is bigger) The hotel is walking distance to the Arc and good shopping. It's not a bad walk to go a little further to the Eiffel Tower. Overall very happy with this choice

Yelp
A room with an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower. An access to a club lounge for breakfast. A stop for CDG airport bus right next to the hotel. What more could you have asked for! Well, you can also walk to a mini-grocery store, a bakery, and several restaurants nearby and on your way to the Eiffel Tower and the Arch de Triumph.

Yelp
Upon arrival, staff was greatt. They were very accommodating. We arrived early and allowed us to check in because I felt sick and needed to sleep. Everyone was nice. The rooms are TINY, Like ridiculously small especially for the price. The room was clean. Bathroom was nice. Sheets were nice and soft, but beds were a bit hard. The hotel is connected to a mall so thAts a plus. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, rather we went to Angelina's. It's not too far from Champs elysse, but it's not really walking distance to anything in particular. I wouldn't stay here again and definitely not worth the price.

Yelp
It's a Hyatt if that helps you start your expectations. It's a business hotel and generally, extremely busy. This is my second visit for work. The first stay was one week, the second will be seven weeks. The good: 1) Attached to a mall with a pharmacy and grocery store. 2) walking distance (under five minutes) to a metro station. 3) good fresh breakfast selection. The bad: 1) Impeccably slow or rude service. 2) we have a contract with the hotel for a certain type of room and both stays they tried to put me in a different, cheaper room. 3) there is a bar on the top floor. Many nights a week the lobby turns into a waiting room for a club. 4) the elevators are a situation. You have to enter the floor number and get an assigned which elevator. This is not an issue except that the machine is sensitive, so if you want to enter "24" you might actually enter 2, 22, 24 before I happens. Then when you get in the elevator, every floor is lit up like a bad movie. It takes an eternity to get to your room. Overall, it wouldn't be my choice if I come back.

Yelp
I didn't actually stay here when I was here last -- instead I was visiting friends who were staying at this hotel and the construction that was going on was very disruptive. The lobby was moved and looked really ramshackle as a result. There was yummy refreshing water available with mint in it to drink which was nice. I have no awareness as to the rooms etc., however. Conveniently located to the convention center (it is attached!) and not a far walk from Arc de Triomphe, this is a nice area to stay in.

Yelp
Hooray for Hyatt points, spent 15,000 points here for 1 night! Location is decent, close to metro with just a 10-15 min ride into the heart of Paris. The views from the room are gorgeous, since the building has 35 floors, and any floor above 20 has great vantage point(s). There are 2 sets of elevators, one set for the lower floors and 1 set for the higher floors. The lobby area is huge, with large seating area, concierge, and check-in counter. Staff are pretty friendly, and luggage stow-away is located outside of the building. Our room was a decent size, although smaller in size when comparing to most USA-based Hyatt hotels. Must be because we're in Paris? It has some modern details to the room; however, I think they are planning a 18-month renovation period coming up in 2015. It will be much nicer after that is complete! It was nice of the hotel to provide me with a complimentary Evian bottle of water, and some madeleine treats as a welcome gift. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the room was nice, especially at sunset. My favorite part of staying at this hotel was the Bar / Lounge at the very top floor (think it was floor 35 or 36?). It has the best views of the Paris skyline, with Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Tower Montparnse in the distance. BEAUTIFUL! :) The lounge is also quite festive, busy at night too. You'll enjoy the views for sure!

Yelp
Basically I am staying every week in some hotel somewhere and that for the last 30 years - so I have an ideas what a hotel should deliver as a minimum. As my usual hotel in Paris (Le Meridien Etoile) was unfortunately fully booked I decided to go for the Hyatt Regency as I know quite a number of them being excellent. Well this is not the case for this Hyatt Regency Etoile! The hotel is undergoing refurbishment for apparently the last two years - the noise between 10am and 6:30pm is an opened hell door! As I came from a long distance trip I needed some sleep - not in this hotel. Constant noise of drilling, hammering, etc. ... all day, no chance to sleep or work. They do not care - they refurbished and accept customers at the same time. I looked up their webpage again and there is not statement about the works and the noise. Of course, they do not care about the customers but just about their money! This hotel has 5 elevators it still took me twice more than 15 minutes to get from the 7th floor to the ground floor. Their "intelligent" elevator system simply ignores customers calls and passes by. So we decided with a couple of other waiting guests to take the steps ... walked down from 7th to ground floor just to find the doors looked! I do not want to be in this hotel when a fire breaks out. Talking to one of the staff people I was told that firearms has to unlock the doors - great, hopefully they come in time when they are needed. A great feature of this hotel is also that 70% of the staff does not speak English - I was in need for help as my telephone in the room was broken, so they sent a technician, who looked at me and said "No English speaking, just French". OK, I thought - fro a technician that might (!) be OK, talking to waiters at the conference: "No English speaking, just French" - why would the accept international hotel guests if we are not able to ask a simple question of anything? As stated above: this hotel is for the last two years under refurbishments - I just don't know what they refurbishe. The shower cannot decide whether to run hot or cold water, but for sure not warm water, the hotel room is full of old furniture with scratches, the restrooms in the conferencing center look like restrooms in an old subway station from the 50s. The only nice thing I can say about this hotel: there is a very nice concierge who helped my finding a nice little brasserie with WIFI where I could walk up to and work, as it was impossible to work in this hotel due to the extremely loud noise. I do not care whether they will stop refurbishment next month or not - this hotel is an absolut NO-GO!!!

Yelp
If you are planning on staying here, just know that it's a bit off of the beaten path. Although there is another Hyatt in the center of city, this location is on the outskirts of town. It's around a 45 minute walk to Eiffel tower, the Louvre, and lots of other must-see Paris sights. I had a special deal with Hyatt points and that's probably the only reason I opted to stay here over a more centrally located hotel. Free wins every time, what can I say? Location aside (which I was fully prepared for) this is a perfectly fine hotel to stay in while visiting Paris. Like nearly every other Hyatt, it's clean, the staff is friendly and the room is spacious. Breakfast was included every morning, and for a free hotel breakfast it was actually pretty decent. Do yourself a favor and just stick to the free bfast. I wouldn't suggest hitting up the rooftop bar here because cocktails are around 20-25 euro. Ickkkk. We had such a short amount of time in Paris that we barely spent any time at the hotel, but overall it definitely suited our needs. If you don't mind a 45 minute walk and want to save some $$$ (but still stay in a nice hotel) then the Hyatt Regency Etoile is definitely worth the visit.

Yelp
We had a wonderful view from our room of the Eiffel Tower. It was great to see the light show from our room, since it's a bit far away from the hotel. The walk to the Arc de Triomphe, which was about a half mile away, isn't too bad (flat). Metro stations and bus stations are pretty close by. There are several restaurants nearby as well. Keiko, the VIP manager, was very kind to us and let us check in early. The club here was a little bit hard to find, but it's next to the bar (we had to take two elevators to get there). There's a little black button you have to put your room key to. The views from the club are also astounding. We thought the food and drink selections were good as well.

Yelp
We stayed here for 6 nights and we had pros and cons of this hotel. The pros : Service and staff were excellent during our stay. Prompt and they spoke English, which was nice. Convenient! Close to the Arc de triomphe and Champs-Élysées, it's a good, brisk walk. The Metro is right below the hotel, so we were able to use the metro quite a few times and not get wet from the rain, which was a plus. The mall is also below the hotel, all the amenities you need, Starbucks, boutique shops, market, bakeries, Angelina, sandwich shops, etc. this was a big pro since we would sometimes grab food and eat in our room. The room we were given was the updated one, which was nice but here comes the cons... Cons: The room, although was nice, updated and had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower, had a few flaws. The ac stopped working on day 2 and after the hubs worked on the ac, tons of water started spilling down onto the carpet from the ac unit. We had to grab a cup to hold the water in while we called for maintenance. That cup was in that spot for the remaining 4 days of our stay, since it started dripping every few minutes or so, after it was fixed. The shower stall, although nice, the plumbing was not. While showering, the water didn't go down the drain, it started spilling out all over the bathroom and into the carpet of our room! Again, maintenance came and was able to fix it. Elevators are confusing to get to your room from the mall, and they're also slowwwww. Last con, they are still renovating so you will hear drilling and pounding, from Monday - Friday 9 am - 6pm(?) but they do stop exactly around that time. On days we stayed in longer in our room, we would hear the drilling but ear plugs were helpful. The renovations will end in 6 months from what we were told. Overall, hotel isn't bad, it's very convenient to everything, the convention is also attached to the hotel so during our stay, we saw quite a few people from Google, medical and Asian conventions going on. Just be warned, if you stay here, you will hear the ruckus of the renovations until they're completed. I still love the Park Hyatt Vendome but this hotel isn't bad to stay in, either.

Yelp
From the moment we arrived service was spectacular the entire week we were there. We celebrated our son 21st birthday at Windo Bar and they truly made his day special. He kept saying this was his best birthday!! Thanks to the Hyatt and Windo Bar manager..

Yelp
We got a pretty good deal here via priceline, so it was well worth it! The lobby is expansive and provides water with fruit all day, and there is free breakfast. Our room was on a top floor with a view of the Eiffel tower, which is always nice! The view at their bar is also really nice as well. The gym has a good amount of equipment, and was always empty when we went, hehe. As for the room-the shower was great (they just upgraded our shower head the day we came in which was good!) but the bed is really made up of two tiny beds pushed together. They didn't separate when you slept on it, but it did shift a bit! The wifi is also all over the hotel and free, and pretty fast. My only qualm was breakfast-for some reason, you can only get eggs (an omelette, fried egg or boiled egg) by ordering from a server. Each day, we had to ask three different servers for eggs to finally get it, and they'd often give us the wrong order. Other than that, they had the standard scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, yogurt, cheese and a mini salad bar.

Yelp
This was my worst experience in a hotel. I had to change rooms because the first room had issues with the shower and the lights were not working. The second room had the same issue. Water keeps switching between hot and cold and it's nearly impossible to take a shower. One day the shower stopped working altogether and someone had to come and change the pipe. I was late for work. Toiletries were not replaced. I had to call for towels because towels were not replaced. The overall hotel feels really dirty. The carpet was stained beyond recognition. Everything in the room was broken- safe, cupboard. No English channels on tv. No iron in the room. Nice view but that's about all you have to offer.

Yelp
Great hotel and location. Bright lobby with a quick greeting and assistance. Check in and out is quick and professional. Restaurants are good though I didn't try the upstairs bar. Next time.

Yelp
I can't stop thinking about my stay at Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile; I'd go back to Paris and stay here again in a second. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff was always friendly and efficient. The rooms weren't particularly spacious but comfortable enough for two. The hotel is located conveniently near the train station and an easy walk to many restaurants. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast because of our Hyatt membership on site each morning. The selection of goodies had me looking forward to getting up and going each morning. Taxis were arranged for us easily ... it really seemed like each staff member had an interest in our happiness.

Yelp
This is the worst Hyatt I've ever been to! I didn't think the bad reviews could possibly be that bad. Here's the problems I've encountered: 1. Very large hotel with dumb "smart" elevators. If you catch it in the morning (when everyone is trying to leave or go to conferences since it holds many conferences), be prepared to wait or get lost trying to find the stairs. Only 1-2 work and by the time (20-30 min) it comes to you, its already full. 2. Opting to take the stairs instead - Good luck. There are no stairs. What if there was a fire or an emergency with evacuations? Stairs go all the way down lead to NO WHERE... NO DOOR!?!?! You have to climb all the way back up to a different floor. There are multiple stairs that lead to no where. Some stairs will lead you outside. ***HONESTLY JUST ASK SECURITY TO TAKE YOU TO YOUR ROOM, THEY HAVE PRIVATE ELEVATORS THAT ONLY THEY CAN USE*** 3. CHECK your folio/bill before you leave..I did express check out and was charged for breakfast buffet of 29 euros. I didn't see this until after I left and emailed Hyatt back saying that I did not have breakfast and asked them to remove the charge. Instead, they send me the receipt of the breakfast charged to my room (when I already told them I did not have breakfast there). This is a problem when you allow random people to charge to the room with no proof that they are staying in that room. Below are attachment of my email and luckily I have my receipt from having breakfast/buying macarons at the 86 Champs-Elysee Pierre Hermes at around the same time. 4. Thirsty at night when there is no more spa water? It's 12 Euros for a bottle of water. While Hyatt is conveniently located apart of the train station. If you are coming home after the mall has closed, you will have to walk around to get the the hotel. Prior to this, I stayed that the Mercure 9 Pigalle. I would highly recommend Mercure 9 Pigalle instead where the metro is literally outside of the hotel door. Mercure also had excellent service and clean rooms. I will not be returning!

Yelp
This Hyatt isn't as nice as the other locations I've stayed at in the USA, but it was an okay hotel. I understand they are renovating and we got one of the older rooms on the 27th floor. There were torn carpets, and the rooms definitely needs some more work. The AC was freezing cold, and I could not figure out how to turn on the heat. This was in the hot summer too! The bed consisted of 2 smaller beds roped together, so it was kinda odd to have that gap in the middle. We did get a view of the Eiffel tower if you looked outside the window at an angle. We had breakfast included, so that was pretty awesome.

Yelp
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. I had my share of bad experiences like everyone else about this hotel gets the prize. For starters the restroom located a floor above needs a room key. A good hotel does not need that. I learnt it the hard way and had to get to my room before I could use the restroom. The front desk while very helpful but the rooms are not equipped with an iron. You have to go to the first floor to press your pants or shirts. I'm very disappointed with their service and would not expect with a good hotel. I have stayed in le meridien opposite and had the positive experience. I'm not the one to right a negative review but this place needs to be mentioned for their quality.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel with my mom on a trip to Paris a little over a year ago and we had a good experience. Our room was clean and spacious enough, with comfortable beds. It was nothing out of the ordinary, but we got a decent price and were pretty happy with the place. The lobby was huge and beautiful and from it you could access an underground shopping mall as well as a subway station. The location was probably not optimal and we ended up spending a fair amount on cabs, but I imagine if we'd mastered the Metro we would've done pretty well. Our stay was during August and as we wanted to try some good food in Paris, we relied heavily on our concierge. He was magnificent, friendly and very helpful in handing out suggestions and directions, as well as making many a phone call on our behalf to find out whether such and such place was open for business. He single-handedly improved our Paris trip by a couple degrees and the hotel should therefore be applauded.

Yelp
Rooms are clean and the hotel looks nice but don't waist your money on the breakfast. If you can get a table the breakfast itself is very lack lustrous with cold food when it's available. The club access is a joke with two types of beers and no other alcohol. The club closes at 9pm and you have NO VIEW of the Eiffel Tower. Good luck.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt for 4 nights in early September. I expected a lot more from this hotel for the price and the pictures posted online. Half the hotel has been remodeled and half has not. Many reviews said that when you check in ask for an upgraded room which I did, but they said they would only give us the upgraded room if we pay extra. I really didn't care to have a view but would have loved an newly remodeled room that looked like the pictures in the site. In reality the rooms are old and dark. The bathroom had mold around the tub. It def wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed at, we were still comfortable and felt safe. I just don't think it was worth the price and I think it's not right for them to advertise one room next to the price on their site and then give you a room that looks nothing like it! The location of the hotel was good, close to the metro station, Eiffel Tower, and champs élysées. Also within walking distance of our fav restaurant entrecôte! The staff was helpful and nice, we had a great experience with the concierge. The bar at the top of the hotel is amazing! Very fun spot with a great view of the Eiffel tower. I'd only go back if I got a remodeled room, but I don't know how to ensure that I do when they use all the remodeled room pics next to the rooms you can book online.

Yelp
This hotel is definitely not up to the Hyatt standards. While the staff was kind and genuinely tried to help me, the place as a whole fell short of expectations. Upon arrival it was a complete madhouse with patrons crammed on to ridiculous backless benches, the checkin desk was so understaffed that I stood there waiting to check in for 30 minutes, and decided instead to walk around the block and wait. When I finally got into my first room, the glass bathroom door scraped so badly on the tile floor that it started to leave a gash in the tile (and also made a terrible noise). Upon complaining the young lady replaced my room. I drag my luggage all the way back up to the rooms only to discover my new room REEKED of cigarette smoke. I again return to the desk, and the lady couldn't seem to negotiate her own computer system and did not offer a room upgrade. I send for a manager, who's social skills were sub-par and he upgrades me to a 26th floor room with a basilica view (not the Eiffel Tower side). I found that this THIRD room while more aesthetically pleasing, was also somehow in a state of disrepair from their recent renovations. At this point I'm exhausted from dragging my luggage and decide to just try and live with the crooked fixtures, flickering light fixtures, and the sharp jagged piece of metal sticking up right in the middle of the bathroom floor (I'm pretty sure there was also a blood stain on the white tile). Other complaints would include the intimidating ominous security staff, below average workout facilities, and disrespectfully overpriced "windo" bar (Jack Daniels was 21 euro). Overall this hotel needs a severe overhaul and a larger lesson in quality and customer assistance. You'd be better off booking in a traditional hotel nearer to the city center. Unless a higher up reaches out and rectifies this ridiculous situation, I will NEVER AGAIN STAY WITH THE HYATT AND WILL THROW DIRT ON THE NAME AT EVERY TURN.

Yelp
Great staff, very polite and nice. This hotel is attached to a mall witch makes it super convenient to shop. There's also a metro station near by. We walked to the Arc de Triumph from here. It was an easy walk. Slight incline but nothing to bad. Along the way there are many shops that are interesting to look at, and several cafes and bistros some display menus on the windows and advertise specials. On our leasure stroll through the streets of Paris we felt like a local as we walked by, couples enjoying tea and a cigarette as they sit close together, we also came across a beautiful church, fruit stand vendor, and some local street art (space invader) we took many pictures along the way and many more once we reached the Arc. This hotel also offered views of the Eiffel Tower that do sell out so plan in advance. They also have a great club level lounge with amazing views of the city and super attentive wait staff that work very hard to keep everything offered replenished. Love this hotel.
