Hyatt Regency Seattle

"Why did this hotel catch your attention? With 1,260 guests rooms, Hyatt Regency Seattle is the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest, and you feel the vastness from the moment you step through the glass entrance. In the lobby, a modern chandelier made from hundreds of skinny pendant lamps warmly lights the sleek space, where impeccably dressed staffers greet guests quickly and politely. What's the backstory?Built in 2018, this grand hotel signals Seattle’s rising status as a tier-one tech town. Beyond offering ample and luxurious lodging just two blocks from the Seattle Convention Center (and even closer to “The Summit,” a forthcoming convention center set to open in 2022), it’s also home to more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and is destined to become a top wedding spot for deep-pocketed Seattle families. Tell us what we need to know about the rooms.Hyatt loyalists will find few surprises in the rooms, and that’s just the way they like it. The crisp white sheets, relaxing rain showers, fluffy white towels, and other little luxuries add up to a satisfying stay. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi?Free and fast. Drinking and dining—what are we looking at?Travelers with time and energy should skip the two onsite restaurants and walk 10 minutes to Pike Place Market, home to excellent dining options, including Matt’s in the Market, Sushi Kashiba, and Le Pichet. Road warriors in a hurry though, will find ready use for Market, Hyatt’s upscale grab-and-go concept offering beer, wine, snacks like pizza and salads, and espresso drinks. How was the service?Professional, prompt, and friendly service here meets the standard you'd expect from the Hyatt. What type of travelers will you find here?Busy business travelers buried in their smartphones share lobby space with well-dressed tourists enjoying the upscale setting and proximity to Seattle's key sites. What about the neighborhood? Does the hotel fit in?All glimmering glass, the hotel adds welcome glamour to a businessy stretch of downtown Seattle. Any other hotel features worth noting? The hotel includes subtle eco-friendly touches like large-format toiletries to reduce plastic waste and an efficient laundry system to save water and energy. In 2019, it received LEED gold certification. Bottom line: Who will most like staying here?Travelers looking for a sophisticated lodging with few surprises will find the Hyatt Regency a perfect perch for exploring Seattle." - Jessica Voelker

If you have read any of my reviews, you know that I very rarely give five stars. For me, five stars means that it is above and beyond expectation. Quality. Exceptional Service. Outstanding Hospitality. Customer Service Excellence. As a guest, you are greeted and welcomed. I am a World of Hyatt member and have been for several years. However, not all Hyatt's are created equal. Fortunately, this one has exceptional Staff. Each front desk employee was truly at my service, including the bar and the restaurant were all about customer service. Everyone went above and beyond. If you love clean rooms that are very well appointed with spectacular breathtaking views, this, is your hotel. Enjoy. CAB☺️

Beautiful hotel with all modern amenities. Excellent location, close to so much downtown within walking distance. The bay view room we had was amazing, with a gorgeous west view of the sunsets! Very safe hotel. Well worth the price. Highly recommend!

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Seattle and it was exceptional from start to finish. The rooms are modern, spotless, and offer stunning city views. The staff was welcoming and made check-in smooth and easy. Great location — walking distance to Pike Place, shopping, and restaurants. The fitness center is spacious and well-equipped, and the hotel dining options were impressive. Whether for business or a getaway, this place checks all the boxes. Highly recommended!

The Hyatt Regency Seattle on Howell Street is still pretty new as of 2025, and it shows - beautiful hotel inside and out. You can’t really go wrong staying here. It is on the pricier side (around $350 a night), but if you’re okay with that, it’s definitely worth it for what you get. Really appreciated the little thoughtful touches in the room like a mini fridge, a couple of complimentary water bottles, ironing board and iron, and just generally well-stocked with the basics. They’re small things, but they go a long way in making the stay feel a bit more comfortable and welcoming. One thing I wasn’t a fan of is the shower setup. It’s that newer trend where there’s no full shower door or curtain - just a half-glass partition, like many hotels in Europe. It looks modern, but practically, it means water tends to splash out no matter how careful you are. Not a dealbreaker, just not my preference. Parking is super convenient with the garage on-site, but it’s pricey at $54 a night. Still, it’s downtown Seattle, so that’s kind of expected. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this place for its comfort, location, and thoughtful amenities. Great option if you’re looking for something modern and well-maintained right in the heart of the city.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel area, we were warmly and kindly welcomed. The staff were lovely and provided excellent service right from the time we got out of the car. The check-in process went smoothly — we arrived early, but still got to check into our room ahead of time. Overall, the hotel was clean, and we were impressed by the service from Mr. Anthony at the front desk, the housekeeping team at 30th floor, and the concierge who helped with charging our electric car. A big thank you to all the staff! Every time we visit Seattle, we’ll definitely be staying here again. Hyatt, you are the best!

Google
Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Everything was so well done and thought out. Had an absolutely fantastic stay. Exceptionally clean room, very friendly service when needed. Very good fitness center for a hotel. It was almost like working out at my gym in my home town. Additionally, the view from my room was unreal! Beautiful lobby and common spaces. I hope to have the privilege of staying there again soon!

Loved everything about the Hyatt Regency Seattle. My room was spacious and very clean. Great view. It was sooo quiet at night. Please keep the quiet hours! Comfortable beds. Great size TV. Multiple outlets. Great lighting (night light is clever; activates on movement). Well designed bathroom. Had everything I needed. I was sooo comfortable. Housekeeping is impeccable. Even with a large conference, the hotel didn't seem overwhelmed. I hung out at the "Andare" bar most evenings. Kind and attentive staff. Great pasta dishes. Fair prices. Their Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned was amazing. Location is fantastic. Close to everything. 10 min by foot to light rail to airport ($3). Shopping, restaurants, Starbucks all in walking distance. I was able to check in 2h before check in. Thank you!! Highly recommend!

Google
We had a wonderful and truly worry-free stay at the Hyatt Regency in Seattle. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and effortless. Our room was spotless, modern, and offered great city views. The location was perfect—central to everything we needed, with great dining and attractions nearby. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time without a single concern. The one thing I found petty was that they provide only 2 bottles of water for the entire stay! Other than that, highly recommended for anyone visiting Seattle!

Yelp
This property is AMAZING! Probably one of the best hotel stays I've ever had and definitely the best VIEW!!! Everything about this Hyatt was wonderful. This property far exceeded any expectations I had (in every way). Its not only beautiful, but very clean, very comfortable, I felt very safe (as a solo traveler), the location was perfect, it was easy to get around, park etc... There was plenty of shopping and restaurants in the immediate area and also the light rail was just a few blocks away. The hotel was about a 1/2 mile from the touristy Pike Place Market, but its definitely walkable (a slight incline on the way back though), but if you prefer not to walk, its a short drive with easy parking in one of the many parking structures. The distance was not bothersome at all, I would pick staying at this hotel over one closer EVERY time. The front desk staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful and seemed so happy to be there! Even the parking/security guy with ACE was so sweet and helpful. And speaking of their employees... Hyatt employs what they call a Guest Experience Specialist. I received an email the Sunday prior to my arrival with the subject line of "Looking Forward to Welcoming you to Hyatt Regency Seattle" and it was signed by "Bethany, Guest Experience Specialist" I assumed it was an automated "form letter" type email, but I went ahead and responded anyway. I loved the thought of (pre-arrival) correspondence, and also loved the title of "Guest Experience Specialist", that is without a doubt a position that EVERY business should employ! That simple email told me all I needed to know. The Hyatt cares about the guest experience so much that they employ an individual specifically to make sure the guest experience is great! Never did I think anyone would respond... but they did.. her name was Bethany and she was delightful! I could hear the happiness through her email and knew that she loved her job before she even told me she loved her job! Hyatt is doing it right and I will surely start looking for Hyatt properties when I travel in the future. I have been an "Honors" member for over 30 years with another hotel chain, but recently the standard just didn't seem to exist any longer... so thanks to Hyatt for reaffirming the standard still DOES exist!

Yelp
I had such an incredible time at the Hyatt Regency on my work trip to Seattle, this week. I was upgraded to a room with bay view on the 30th floor - allowing me to catch the most splendid and gorgeous sunsets! Staff were incredibly helpful. I appreciate the amenities, especially the ability to have weights brought up to my room, so I can do some quick work outs without having to go to the gym each day. Just great small touches everywhere! Special shout out to Bethany Beatty, guest experiences specialist who reached out before my trip to confirm my arrival time and assigned me this upgraded room, per my request for a water view. Cannot wait to return!

Yelp
Absolutely a lovely hotel. Within walking distance to Pike market, Chihully Glass and Gardens and the Starbucks reserve. Also easy walking distance to Westlake train station for the Line 1 train which goes to the airport and takes about 30 mins. During our stay, it was very busy with conventions going on in the area. Rooms are modern and fresh. Our room had a fridge, coffee and tea maker. I also loved the lights near the floor which lights up when you need to get up in the night to use the restrooms. The hotel was airy and spacious, with a huge painting and lovely shimmering light fixtures on the ceiling. They have restaurants and a small store for essentials up the escalators and a beautiful comfy seating area in the foyer. Seattle is a very walkable city and we walked everywhere from this central hotel. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Yelp
I'm usually a Marriott or Hilton girlie because I have status with those hotels, but Hyatt Regency Seattle is surprisingly decent. My stay there was actually more than decent. I spent four days there for a work conference and was impressed with the hotel's services and amenities--the rooms are modern and very comfortable for both business and leisure travelers. Additionally, the meals catered to at the conference were very impressive. I loved that it was conveniently located downtown, and the location was very walkable. I will stay here again when I bring my husband to Seattle.

Yelp
I recently had the opportunity to spend a few nights in Seattle at the Hyatt Regency and I have to say, the experience was flawless! This is a beautiful, upscale hotel located right in the heart of downtown. It was walking distance to everything (including a nearby event I was attending), and our views (from the 44th floor) were breathtaking! Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful, and even though there were a couple of large conventions going on the time, the hotel didn't seem crowded or busy at all. Our room was super comfortable, with a crispy king bed, large bathroom, and all the amenities (including a sizable mini fridge and coffee machine). There was also a small desk and sitting area right next to the window, which were great places to hang out and enjoy the view. We could see as far as the Issaquah Highlands from our room! The underground parking garage, while very tight (as most Seattle garages are), felt safe and secure. And the neighborhood was very walkable and there were several good restaurants and cafe nearby. While I don't often have the need for a hotel room in downtown Seattle, if and when I do I'll definitely return to the Hyatt Regency.

Yelp
We came here last week for a quick getaway. The hotel was pretty busy, but we were able to get upgraded to a high floor on the corner with a view. The room was pretty clean and had a nice big screen tv. The view from the room was spectacular. We had access to the lounge on the 8th floor. The lounge was spacious and had some light refreshments. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.

Yelp
This is my favorite hotel in downtown Seattle for Staycations. I love the Hyatt brand (fan of Hyatt Regency Lake Washington and Elaia Spa too!) and whenever my gal pals and I plan to see a concert at Climate Pledge Arena (via Monorail) or Lumen Field (via light rail) we book a stay here. This hotel is close to everything that meets our needs. We shop for snacks and beverages at HMart near Pike Place Market or m2m on Capitol Hill (via light rail). Breakfast is usually at Ludi's. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. The hotel rooms are pretty basic, clean and sufficient. We're mostly out and about and just need the room to sleep. If you walk around the building you'll notice the grand scale of the hotel. Wide hallways, abundance of conference rooms, and large scale pieces of artwork. The gym gets pretty busy so go early for your workout.

Yelp
Stayed five days for a conference and was impressed with the food, staff and vibe of the hotel. The staff are all professional and friendly. Never had negative experience. They are always helpful and provide exceptional service. Hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was nicely laid out and furnished. Bathroom was gorgeous, functional and had a large shower and lit mirror. The general conference food was good. Great variety of offerings and the chefs did a great job of ensuring everything tasted fresh, well seasoned and delicious even when serving 100s buffet style. I would stay here anytime I'm in Seattle.

Yelp
This is a nicely decorated hotel with comfortable rooms and several eateries on site. It's clean and the staff is friendly. A There are downside to the rooms: there isn't a bathtub--only a shower with half a wall so there's no door; the bathroom door slides and it's kind of loud so it can wake you up at night...and, there's no dresser drawers or closet, so we had to pretty much keep a lot of our stuff in our suitcase. They kept you stocked with four free bottles of water daily and six k-cups of coffee and there was a mini fridge to store any uneaten food/drinks. It is centrally located which is also a perk, so you are within walking distance from a lot of restaurants and shops.

Yelp
Hyatt Regency Seattle is one of my favorite Hyatt's to stay at! I always appreciate their staff following up a few days before arrival. Holly arranged a few accommodations for us for our stay. She was courteous and prompt, so it is much appreciated! If you're Globalist, you can get grab and go breakfast (entree and drink) per person in the room or you can head over to the restaurant for the breakfast buffet. We opted for the grab and go a few times during our stay. Although the line can get busy, the end product was usually pretty good. I did wish we could have been upgraded to a suite, but completely understand that the hotel is busy on weekends. The room I was in was smaller than the first time, but not that big of a deal. Parking is the only pain here. If you have bigger than a full size car (SUV or bigger), please be careful in the parking garage as corner turns are very tight. You can see from the walls that many people have scraped their cars here. All in all, awesome staff, clean rooms, and a good stay. I also do appreciate that this location is the only one who has listened to specific requests. For example, late check out was available, so I took it and no one came once to knock or barge into the room (whereas every other stay I've been at this year, this has happened). If you request something, it comes in a timely manner, whereas other times, other locations may forget. A huge shoutout to the attention to detail at this location. Until next time!

Gemma N.

Yelp
Exceptional service, nice view, and renovated hotel! The managers (especially Chris) accommodated a quiet room with an open view to help me deal with pain, and most of the stuff I needed was placed in the room before I checked in to help me avoid being exposed to others. The manager Chris also added a microwave in my room without a charge to help heat the handful of food I can eat, which saves a lot of time and pain to buy the food outside when not many restaurants offer what I need medically. The manager Chris also arranged for me to stay in the same room with the same cost when I wanted to extend my stay, to spare me the pain of packing and moving everything. They gave me even very nice comforters instead of the yellow/brown blankets that most hotels offer. Comforters helped manage the cold times inside during the summer; when AC is strong everywhere inside in general (not this hotel specific). The beautiful view made my conference enjoyable, although I could not go anywhere else outside of the hotel. The shower handle on the opposite side of the shower head made it easy to use, not expose myself to the cold water until the hot water came out. A tall faucet on the sink gives people an option to quickly wash their hair if one would not want to take a shower to organize messy hair (which can happen for people who took a shower at night and slept). One thing I missed was a fan in the bathroom, but it did not feel humid without it after a shower, and staying alone did not give me trouble with smell. This was the best Hyatt Regency I stayed in, and they made me want to go back for my other trips.

Yelp
In town for a conference, I stayed for five days. Hotel was located close to the conference center, food, shopping, and the Public Market. Everyone was friendly and professional. My room was clean and well maintained. For breakfast, I enjoyed the avocado and salmon toast and Starbucks (of course) latte. I would stay there again. Side note: On my walks, I did notice homeless people on the streets. While they did not bother me or anyone that I saw, it may become an issue due to some of their activities.
google avatar

Yelp
This hotel was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Upon arrival they had extra pillows and blankets ready in our room! Also I can't forget to share how nice the view from our room was! One night we were too tired to go out for dinner so we went to the market on the second floor and ordered a pizza. It was pretty good! We loved how that was an option. You are also able to order via room service for a fee. We received great service during our stay! The gym was very clean and the only thing I wish this place had was a pool. No regrets and no complaints. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
A beautiful hotel, modern and comfortable. Clean and well run. Beds were superb. The rooms are well appointed with bottled water, coffee service and toiletries. My only minor gripe was the overly sensitive and cumbersome elevator security system, which caused lots of confusion and fumbling. Also, over zealous housekeeping moved my things, lowered the thermostat I had set, and kept putting away the items I had set on the countertop (hair dryer / cups). A minor issue in an otherwise lovely stay.

Christina B.

Yelp
Our check in experience was lovely and the hotel bar servers were great. That's where the positive feedback ends. The bedding in our room was dirty and stained with red and brown spots. I'm going to say it was from wine and coffee to ease my mind. I called the front desk and it took them more than 30 minutes to send housekeeping with fresh linens. After a long travel day, the last thing I needed was an extra half hour waiting to go to bed. In the grand scheme of things, this is not the end of the world, but I certainly expected more with the amount of money I paid.

Yelp
The 2nd floor Market Place staff are OUTSTANDING - serious Ritz Carlton Vibes on excellent service! So I was studying for my CCIM exam, and got hungry. Ordered a Wagyu burger well done. Funny enough, it was raw! LOL. - So I asked if they could cook it through The manager totally took control, remade it for me WELL DONE, with fresh veggies, etc. She took care of my charge / comp'd it for me. Then later that night, I went to get a blueberry muffin and cappuccino. The cashier felt bad for all that I went through so she gifted the muffin to me! I just felt so well taken care of! I would come back to stay at the Regency just because of the staff on the 2nd floor!!! Wow! Their teamwork and spirit of excellence really left a mark!!!

Yelp
Having lucked out with tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras tour, I decided to treat myself to a stay-cation and try out the Hyatt Regency on Howell. I've stayed at their neighboring location, Grand Hyatt, but have heard great things from co-workers about Hyatt Regency. I could be wrong, but I believe it's also one of their newer (or remodeled) locations. Wow, even with a short weekend stay the hotel was fantastic. Adam, one of the front desk agents who helped check me in, was very informative but quick with getting my checked in (I was the only one in line but the 5 agents at the desk already had guests, Adam had been standing nearby and walked me over to a desk to check me in himself). The hotel offers texting for short/quick questions you may have during your stay. I found the staff to be quick to reply (during business hours within 5-15 minutes and responding to an after hours text first thing the next day). In room dining is available but a limited menu, but the fees are reasonable in my opinion. Delivery is $5 with extra gratuity up to the customer, but no additional % for delivery that you might find at other hotels or tourist hubs (here's looking at you, Vegas). You can always save yourself the $5 and go to the 2nd floor to pick up the order from their Market area. In room dining has limited options to edit any orders as most of the food is pre-made to ensure a timely delivery/availability. I ordered the roast chicken and dumpling soup, which was really hearty but packed with chicken and gnocchi. I will caution, the broth itself is really salty so wouldn't recommend finishing that. The chocolate opera cake was decadent, beautiful, and tasty. The A/C in the room was fantastic, and the shower pressure is top notch. Can't find the hair dryer or extra roll of toilet paper? The hair dryer is kept in a faux leather box under the sink, and the extra roll is in a black cloth bag (also under the sink). Be careful though, the water glasses in the bathroom are actual glass. Have status with Hyatt? Check your perks! With Explorist, I was able to get waters for free and refilled (staff confirmed no extra cost). Very helpful with how humid Lumen Field was. Unfortunately I didn't have time to check out the gym, but I'm already planning to book for Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) next year! Tips: -Download and use the app! Hotel offers a digital key, and you can also check in and check out there -Did you snag physical keys but still want to digitally check out? You can! There's a key drop box in the lobby on the desk closest to the doors -Drop off / pick up area in front of the hotel can be a bit chaotic, be ready to hop out or hop in quickly -Need to park? Call in advance to confirm if this is available, especially with any big concerts/conventions/etc as it may not be guaranteed (even if you have status) -Hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to Pike Place, 5mins from the convention center, and 10min walk to Pacific Place (Din Tai Fung, AMC, Regal Meridian, etc.) -Going to Lumen or T Mobile park? Uber or Lyft would be your easiest bet, but you can always walk to one of the link rail stations (I believe Westlake is closest)

Yelp
Elegant, classy, and spacious. This is one of the finer Hyatt properties that I have stayed in and if you want space, I recommend the executive suite. They are a solid value and we secured a luxurious 1,100 square foot suite for an astonishing $600 a night! Of course season and the day of the week will account for a fluctuation in pricing, but nonetheless we were astonished. The cleanliness and quality of the interior and rooms was impeccable, and as a Hyatt member this is one of the nicest ones I have stayed in. I also appreciate the lounge access they granted us because they were unable to check us in early. Very nice touch. The only problem is that it is right next to the convention center so you might encounter a rather long line upon check in (if there is an event going on) and because of this, it took us a while to check in and we were not able to get a seat in the lobby restaurant and bar.

Yelp
This place was niiiiice. I loved the rooms and the glass front refrigerator. The tv's were nice sizes and even had the extended USB port hanging below to hook your first icky or.game.up to it since it was wall mounted. The place is clean and two restaurants at the bottom with a little sandwich cafe. That broilermaler steak house.. lawd. Lol, it's located in the heart of downtown. So was able to walk to the Macy's a d the little tram that took you to the needled point. Also a good distance but we walked to the Fisher market as well. The only thing that was bad is the parking. They did have a small little lot but yeah ita the heart of down town.

Yelp
The Hyatt Regency Seattle is my go-to hotel for work trips in the area. The staff is incredibly helpful and courteous, and they ensure they're doing everything they can to make the guests' stay comfortable and memorable. If you use the World of Hyatt app like I do, you can check in, check out, and get your room key all without even having to talk to someone. If you prefer, the check-in desk is always well-staffed with smiling faces. This last trip, my check-in team member ensured I was well-informed on local services and dining options, giving me a detailed -- but still appropriately brief -- rundown, even sending me away with a one pager to reference if I needed. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you'd expect, and then some. All the room TVs are equipped with Chromecast built in, allowing you to watch Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services cast to the TV directly from your phone. This means no need to individually login to the streaming apps, and prevents you from forgetting to log out when you leave! Each TV also has an HDMI input for guest devices, and is accessed right through the TV guide. Housekeeping was extremely attentive, and can be requested through the World of Hyatt app. Hyatt makes it easy, and with the app, it's easier than ever to request things. I love the Hyatt team at the Regency, that's why I come back!

Yelp
My stay at a Hyatt hotel was the first during my travels couple of months ago. I usually stay at other hotel chains, but there were not alot of decent options in the area. I can say everything about this Hyatt hotel is great! The entire staff was professional, attentive, and pleasant. My room was clean, modern, and most importantly comfortable. Many eating options on premise. There is a required $25 fee added on each night and you can use up to $15 from this fee to purchase food at the Market which has a wide, decent selection. Location is within a very short walking distance (~5 min) to the Seattle Convention Center's new addition, The Summit. And also, close to the main area of downtown Seattle....and in a safe area (well, to my standards).

Yelp
This hotel is in the heart of downtown Seattle and is delightful. In addition to being near restaurants, Pike Place Market, and Space Needle, everything was easy to access by walking or driving. Seeing the address with "808" and me as a visitor from Hawaii (the 808 state) made booking this hotel necessary. I was visiting Seattle for my MBA commencement at the T-Mobile stadium. The trip was a short weekend getaway with my family to galavant and sightsee before my big event. The revolving doors suddenly enchanted me at the entrance as I checked in after my flight. It's a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and many restaurants on-site. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern, and I loved the mirror's different lighting adjustments. My parking experience was fine. There will be peak times when the garage will be crowded, making parking difficult. I enjoyed my two days here. The restaurant downstairs (in a separate Yelp review) was good. The check-out process was a snooze. We were checking out early to drop the car off at the airport. The young female checking us out seemed to have just woken up and started her shift. The woman appeared out of place and needed to provide clear instructions when returning our keycards upon exiting the garage. My family and I enjoyed our time here; everything was excellent and memorable. I would love to visit again.

Yelp
I have just two minor (arguably petty) complaints: 1) Sporadic mechanical clicking noise in the room. I think it's from the central air system and if I heard it more often I would've actually docked a star from the overall rating. 2) The elevators go up/down way too fast.....yeah I'm listing this as an actual complaint! My ears popped every. single. time. riding one! LOL. Otherwise, fantastic hotel. Nice and clean modern look to it. Comfy bed. Strong wall/ceiling noise barriers (no stomping sounds nor hearing neighboring convos at all!). One of the taller hotels in the vicinity and if your room is high enough in elevation you can get a glimpse of the harbor and The Seattle Great Wheel. Seattle Convention Center is pretty much just on the opposite corner so super convenient if you're attending an event there and need a hotel. *Approx. walking times to reach other notable spots: Pike Place Market: 12 min Westlake Station (access to/from SeaTac airport): 6 min Pie Bar (amazing pie-themed cocktails): 9 min - route has moderate incline Nana's Green Tea (delicious Japanese parfaits and comfort food): 3 min Anchorhead Coffee (you have to get the honey bunches of cold brew): 4 min

Yelp
As a Globalist this is my favorite hotel in Seattle. Really modern building and room finishes, amazing views especially when you get upgraded to the high floors, and great complimentary breakfast options (both a buffet and a takeout cafe). Points-wise, it costs the same as the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place (all Cat 4) which is mindblowing to me. The Hyatt Regency is sooo much nicer and more modern, it's not even close. The location is great too, right in downtown and within a 15 min walk you can easily get to from Pike/Pine in Capitol Hill and Pike Place Market. It's also across the street from the newly constructed Seattle Convention Center, so great spot for business visitors.

Yelp
The Hyatt Regency is convieniantly close to the convention center (my destination for a conference that week), and is overall a very nice hotel. I only have one complaint that is of any real significance. The shower. The whole room, bathroom included, looks very nice and is quite comfortable. But the showe has no door, not even so much as a curtain. The result being that water was getting everywhere on the floor, so much that I had to use multiple towels to clean up. Since I was travelling solo, it was not too big of a deal, but had there been just one more person in the room it would be quite a burden. Otherwise, it's a very nice place, comfortable and convenient.

Yelp
This hotel is awesome. Great location near Pike Place Market. All the staff is so helpful Everything is clean. The gym is great, although can be busy in the morning. We booked early through a non-refundable Priceline deal, and when I checked the rates a few days before we arrived they were actually lower so keep that in mind. There are taxis readily available and have a flat rate to the airport.

Yelp
Very nice and clean rooms. However, the staff at Andare does NOT want to serve more than 7 people in a group (we had 8). So we walked 2 blocks up the street and had an amazing meal at the Asian restaurant. Well worth the walk!!! So thankful for the waitress that did not want our business at Andare!!! Thank you to the bartender, Mark! Wonderful service! Much appreciated! So we decided to come back to have a few drinks after dinner. Can't say much for the lady that came around at the end of the night and busted everyone's bubble! We were having a great time until she came around and seemed to be closing out the shifts and being rude to the customers that had been there for hours. Not recommended for those traveling that want to enjoy the service that is offered at the motel that you are staying at. Go elsewhere next time!!! I know we will.

Yelp
I stayed 3 nights here in Oct for a conference that was in the hotel. This was my first time traveling for work, but I thought everything was amazing. The hotel is in a good location, it was easy to walk around and explore during our free time. The view from my room was lovely! I was on the 28th floor and could see some water and stone mountains. It was nice to eat a quick breakfast looking out! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Adam at the front desk was really great! He was so nice and helped me fix my minor problems. (The battery in the smoke detector was dying). The hotel had a surprisingly good gym. (And more surprisingly, I used it. It's nice working out before you start work for the day, and easy when all you had to do is get dressed and go downstairs). The breakfast in the hotel restaurant seemed really expensive to me, and the cafe had long lines from everyone attending the conference. Luckily I bought fruit from Pike Place Market and had fruit in my room each morning and the conference had pastries. There's coffee, tea, and bottled water (in the mini fridge) in the room. This hotel was a great place for a conference, everything was laid out really well. We had 1,000 people at lunch based on the table numbers. This was my first ever work trip, and first overnight conference. The whole thing seemed amazing. The hotel was great, Seattle was great, the location of the hotel was great, the layout of the conference was great, the conference itself was great, everyone was great. I joked that I should never travel for work or go to a conference every again, because there's no way it could ever compare. It feels like I got super lucky. Or maybe Hyatt Seattle is a really great place to host a conference.

Yelp
Loved the convenient location of this place within walking distance of Phocific, Starbucks Roastery, and Mr West (for breakfast items). The pluses: 1) don't hear our neighbors 2) room has a mini refrigerator and coffee maker The negatives: Modern and maybe a bit sterile in design, our corner room just needed blackout blinds for the skyline picture window. Note: they only change out towels every 3 days unless you call for room service.

Yelp
Clean and simple hotel! Absolutely convenient location as it is a close walking distance to the Seattle convention center, Starbucks Reserve, and other yummy places to eat! This hotel has many floors and your ears will definitely pop going up and down to and from your room! The rooming was a little tight but still spacious enough for 4 people. ** The mirror lighting is amazing in the bathroom but the biggest downfall is the NO door in the shower. The water will definitely splatter so make sure to place a towel down for your feet so you don't slip!! ** The staff is super nice and accommodating; always catering to one's' needs - can call for towels, cleaning at any time etc and their return time is pretty quick! Overall, had a great stay and would recommend this prime location 8/10!!

Yelp
I had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Regency! It's walking distance from many places & has a safe Uber pickup spot in front of the hotel. The staff were marvelous and friendly. I was also impressed by the food options inside the hotel. They have a wonderful grab & go cafe plus a bar/kitchen off of the lobby. The rooms were clean and spacious. Highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Seattle!

Yelp
I want to give this hotel 5 stars, the rooms are great and the location is perfect. Staff are also kind and accessible. However, the food options at this hotel are subpar. But my biggest complaint and reason for docking stars is due to the noise in the rooms. I was here for a work conference that was taking place at this hotel, it is clearly a great hotel for conferences. I was put in a king bed room that had a connecting door to another room. I could literally hear every single thing the guests staying in the room next to me were saying. I could easily hear their tv show and music as well. Throughout the day they were taking work calls and it was so loud I could not work in my room during conference breaks. This was particularly frustrating at night when I was trying to sleep. The noise kept me up. I asked the hotel if anything could be done and they said if it is not during quiet hours they can't do anything. As an east coast gal, I was going to bed early. Quiet hours at this hotel start at 11 PM which is 2 AM my time. I totally get the policy and understand but they need to do something to reduce the noise that travels through those connecting doors!! For a hotel of this caliber that is just not reasonable.

Yelp
This location made me fall in love with Hyatt all over again. I feel luxurious The room was really clean, modern, and had everything I needed. I appreciate the fact that there's concierge, bell service, a restaurant and bar, room service, and many other conveniences I can easily request via the app! Customer service has been excellent and the location is central to a lot of other places in the city.

Yelp
Solid choice for hotel by the convention center and close proximity to major attractions that Seattle has to offer. Service was top tier and effortless. Rooms are on par with Hyatt Regency expectations for cleanliness and spaciousness.

Yelp
Welp, it did in fact get worse. My card was fraudulently charged for a meal I never had at the hotel restaurant I never even stepped foot in, and my personal silk pillowcase was taken from my room. It took countless phone calls, emails, and a BBB complaint until I was finally reimbursed for the cost - a full month later. I will never stay in this hotel again, and I will do everything possible to avoid staying at any Hyatt or Hyatt-owned hotel in the future.

Yelp
We arrived way earlier than the check in time. I called ahead and asked if we were able to check in earlier and luckily, they said our room was ready! We were able to check in around 11am. Upon arriving, we had someone unload our luggages from our Lyft. Already loving the vibes and service here. The inside is super modern and fancy looking. The room is pretty spacious.l and clean. The sink area has lots of room to put toiletries and makeup. They provide complimentary coffee, tea, and water bottles. You can ask for more if you run out. The downside here were the pillows. They are incredibly soft and my head went flat as I laid down. Large TV right in front of the bed. You can even stream videos from the apps on your phone! **You may want to check if the alarm clock has an alarm set. Ours went off at 6am in the morning and caught us by surprise. I also heard it going off in other rooms on our floor too.

Yelp
A lot to like but missing some key items for an upscale place like this. Good: - Rooms are nice, clean, modern... the king room has a nice amount of open space. - Restaurants are good... nice breakfast buffet, not inexpensive but reasonable for the quality and diversity, and location. - great customer service; they resolved an issue quickly and properly Room for Improvement: - need hook in the bathroom to hang clothing, towels etc. Hooks are cheap, put them all over! - Shower heads are small and basic, not luxury quality at all - NO HOT TUB! This alone might make me stay elsewhere. After a work out need a Hot Tub!... and sometimes just to relax after a long day of meetings.

Yelp
Loved our short stay here! The view was amazing! The service was excellent! Decor was modern and the hotel was clean! The only thing was it's a little distance from Pike Place as compared to other hotels but still very walkable. The check in process was a breeze. There wasn't a long line. The hotel staff were very friendly. You can also text for any room service / housekeeping needs. I liked the toiletries they had. It's good quality but too bad you couldn't take them home lol. There's also a steakhouse in the hotel but we didn't try it.

Yelp
Early check in request accommodated and we were provided a beautiful and breathtaking view of the city and harbor area. You can request a fitness pack that includes a mat, light weights, and resistance bands if you forget your workout gear. 10min walk to the harbor

Yelp
This hotel is nice with looks and lots of other things. But it is very misleading, for example we were told that there is a pool in the building. Come to find out it's is across the street and we have to pay extra. It's not like a five-ten dollar charge for the pool, it is 50 dollars each person. And for my family(11 people) that is already spending a lot of money on this trip cannot drop extra money like that especially for one day pass. On the website we were told it was complementary. As well as a breakfast being complementary it was not. Please update your website and let your guest know the true inform

Yelp
The service from check-in to check-out was impeccable. Our room on the 42nd floor (which was assigned to us as a complimentary upgrade) had an exquisite view of the bay and the Seattle skyline. All of the staff members we'd had encounters with throughout our stay had been courteous, friendly and professional. Room was clean and beautifully prepped. We had a wonderful stay here and we are most likely to stay here again the next time we're in the city.

Yelp
I stayed here for an event at the Seattle Convention Center. This is a standard but very nice hotel. If you are going to the convention center, it's just a 2 minute walk. Everything is very clean. It is a little annoying if you're in a high floor in an elevator because you have to wait awhile to get to your floor if other people are getting off at lower floors (you can easily have to wait for 5-7 other stops), but the views are very lovely.

Yelp
During my recent stay, Trent, the front desk attendant, stood out for his exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and ensured a seamless check-in process. Whenever I had queries or needed assistance, he was always prompt, courteous, and went above and beyond to meet my needs. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to guest satisfaction. Trent is undoubtedly a valuable asset to the team and made my stay memorable. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Nice view of Pugent Sound on the 21st floor. As expected for an upscale hotel are the amenities. Spotless rooms, great staff, except the concierge who was MIA. This Hyatt is the nicest of the three in the city. Close to Pike Place Market, monorail which will take you to the Space Needle. On the 2nd floor is morning floor to eat breakfast a la Carte. Excellent offerings. Made to order. Avg room per nite incl taxes $300. Avg breakfast pp $16.

Yelp
We called that we were checking in late due to our flight arriving at midnight. Front desk was rude and did not have our reservation ready. We had to check in at a different hotel. Not welcoming or accommodating.

Yelp
Stayed here a whole week for work, the staffs were really nice and housekeeping was very responsive. They always stock new drinking waters, teabags and coffee k-cups. The parking garage is a bit tight and cost $$ even for guests.

Yelp
My favorite hotel in Washington. Last visit was this past weekend watching my lowly Commanders lose to the equally low 'hawks. Great weekend overall, aside from the smug guy at the end telling me "late checkout was not an option bc they were at full capacity." The glee was ridiculous, but everyone else was great. From check-in, to "the Market," where I had a $15 credit a day as a perk for being an awards member. Jordan at the bar slayed both nights. Still plenty of parking (despite being at "full capacity"), very clean facilities overall. No digital card issues like many other hotels. Awesome view from my 33rd floor room. Great amenities and extra large tv that offers chrome casting. Comfortable beds with no noise from above floor.

Yelp
Great location. Rooms were pretty spacious and the shower got really warm. Service at checkin was fine but they didn't have my member reward number so they didn't assign a room based on my preferences, which was annoying. Our A/C broke midway through and was only fixed after repeated phone calls. Housekeeping was the star of the stay, very attentive and thorough.
