The venue is alright. I think it could be fun, but one issue that I believe is pretty easy to fix is for the staff to have alignment on what they tell customers and the chain of command. Around 4:45pm I had asked the doorman if there was re-entry and he said it was not an issue as long as I was back by 5:15. Unfortunately I got back around 5:10 and someone else was at the door and told me that my group could not re-enter because there is only re-entry until 5:15. I told him about the miscommunication of the other doorman and asked if he could ask the other man to verify. He just said "nope, 5:00 is the rule" and continuously repeated that without any real attempt to see if his colleague had made a mistake. I did not realize why he would even mind so much as to not allow us back in, but after arguing with him for about a minute we decided to just leave and go back to the beach. It was a frustrating situation though because you would think that they are in the hospitality business so would be inclined to please customers rather than intentionally aggravate them.

We went to Hyde Beach due to F1 hype for a networking event. Most people were from TX , CA or NY. The place is just an average outdoor bar. There was no food. Tge event was 8pm when we got there they said no entry till 9pm as their security was not in place. It was a waste of time. It's better to go to onmther spots in Mismi beach..

Google
Had an epic time at Hyde Pool! Shoutout to Sandra Alcántara for delivering top-notch service. Went for a staycation with my wife, who was feeling a bit down for personal reasons. It happened to be her birthday, and she's not big on celebrating. Sandra turned it around completely, making it the best birthday ever. Killer music, awesome crowd – Hyde Pool is the spot to have a blast in Miami Beach!

Kayla Rosado

Google
Had such a great time! Visited during my birthday, staff was friendly. Getting through the door was easy. The water was great, but got a little grimy towards the end. Still had an amazing time! Awesome pool party

Google
DO NOT GO!! they will sexual you, kick you out for not engaging. I have gone to hyde for ten years. I have bought a table and showed up for a single spot. I have probably spent 2000 plus the 5 other times I have gone so 6000 At Hyde. They are not friendly. They will kick you for anything. The bouncers, bartenders, are unfriendly. Take it from someone in the industry.

Lorraine L

Google
The music was alright. I think its just a personal preference. The food was pretty good for being a day club. The mix drinks had decent amount of alcohol. Something about the ambiance wasn't the best.

Tyler Daum

Google
Super unorganized venue, sound is b Horrible, venue is outdated and has 1980s miami vibes. Drinks overpriced. Try to run vegas style beach club in grandma's backyard. Save your money and go to a real dayclub

Google
The worst pool party I ever been ! On a Sunday that no one was in the club they didn’t allow us sit on any of the empty chairs! Atmosphere and music was the worst! We got hooka and they made us smoke it by the bar! The picture is litterly for Sunday 3 pm which suppose to be packed! Horrible customer service !

Yelp
If you can handle the Miami messiness you'll have a good time lol. But seriously this "pool party" is a lot. Every inch of the pool area was surrounded by people either "dancing", posing for ig or getting absolutely hammered. Don't get me wrong it's definitely a fun time IF that's what you're looking for...but it's anything but subtle. I will say they treat ladies really well -- with multiple free rounds and special pink shots for us we were having a blast in no time. They do check your bags upon entry and throw away any water/ beverage you may have and then over charge you -- The water is absurdly expensive here 3 bottles of water was almost $40... If you're looking for a super Miami worthy party it seems like this is the spot to be.

Tyler N.

Yelp
Came here for a Bachelor party last weekend - what a wild place! One of the best pool parties i've ever been to. The bartender, Ken, was super friendly alongside some fire drinks We will return SOON!
google avatar

Megan C.

Yelp
This club has the slowest bottle service I've ever experienced. We've pre payed for a table in full and they tried to charge us twice. Would not recommend bottle service here at all. And the security for sections are not helpful at all.
google avatar

Stacie M.

Yelp
I love it here :) The service and ambiance is great- especially for your typical "best place to visit in Miami" spot. It's one of the best pool parties I've been too and in Miami there are very limited places for daytime parties.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Just remember when you go spend your hard earned money at this place, that they give egotistical narcissistic influencers like these, $1300 drinks on the house. FREE! Enjoy the backwash.
google avatar

Kristina L.

Yelp
What a fun day!! I had the best time celebrating my best friend getting married at Hyde Beach! The party was so much fun and we had the best server! Kristi was so attentive and fun, did such a fun presentation for our bride, and served our drinks right in the pool, so we didn't have to get out! The sushi was wonderful too! I can't wait to go back to party for my bachelorette!!!
google avatar

Mariam M.

Yelp
Super fun and upbeat pool party at Hyde! The music was great! All the severs were super nice and attentive. My server was Grace and she was the absolute best! She took care of our group and was super attentive. She even took pics with us! Food was also good specially for pool side options. Love this place! Def recommend you to visit if you are in town!

Yelp
Rating 5.0 TLDR: First. Get a cabana and /or bottle service. That will make your day. Second, go with a group it'll be more fun. The DJ when we went was absolutely amazing. The service was great. I would come here again. Not TLDR: tbh, there isn't much of a "not TLDR" section. It's a pool club; one of the best ones I've been to. Get there early if you want. It'll start to pick up. Again, get bottle service with your group. Split it up. It'll be worth. If you can pick a cabana, choose the ones at the end of the pool. More private

Yelp
This spot popped up on my Instagram a few weeks ago, and I decided to finally visit to celebrate a friend. The pool area is part of the SLS South Beach Hotel, which has a quieter pool next door. Surprisingly, we found paid parking right by the hotel. One of the things I did not like about this place was the ridiculous and inconsistent cover charge. There seemed to be two entrances charging with two different price structures, one offering a $100 cover (without a ticket) or $150 bar spent per person and another offering $50 cover or a $150 bar spent. Note: during the week, I tried to buy tickets but there were none offered or available. They didn't seem to be on the same page, so of course, we took the $50 cover. The party was expected to end 2 hours after our arrival anyway. Anyway, the pool had a nice temperature with mainly tourists. The dj played house music. There were beach chairs and cabanas around the pool. If you ordered a bottle, then they put on a pretty cool show when they bring it out. It had multiple bars that served cocktails at an average price of $20. Everyone seemed friendly and fun. While we enjoyed ourselves, I wouldn't go back just because of what seemed to be a scam at the door.

Yelp
This place was very pricey but I think it was worth it. We had day bed for group of 7 of us. Our total was $1290. We could spend the $1000 on food and beverage. The other $290 was taxed a gratuity. We legit only bought two bottles of Hennessy that shows you how much things cost. With all that being said, I would do it 10 times over. A place like this is worth the money. I would only come here if I had section. The Dj was lit, the crowd was lit, the people were sexy. I really enjoyed myself. I have been to several pool day parties and this one didn't make me feel like my black skin and money was not welcome. There are other pool day party, mostly in NYC in which they want your money but not your blackness. If you ever visit Miami, this is must! I'll be back!

Yelp
Love! Such a great experience, the bride loved it for her bachelorette!!!!!!!!!! Best pool

Yelp
Best beach club in Miami. We had a group of 10 guys and they accommodated us pretty well considering it was all guys. Paid around $1500 for bottle service. We went during the nighttime. Ambiance is nice. Setting is cool. The music is house music which is always a plus. Giselle and Jessica were both amazing hostess and they took care of us and were very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend coming here
google avatar

Sierra G.

Yelp
if u want to have a fun ass time at the hyde pool party, make sure u have kevin as ur server. best service hands down in all of miami, i would go back just to have him as our server for real

Yelp
Amazing vibes, good food, good drinks. We went on a Saturday and they mainly played house/edm/pop. All staff was super nice. Just don't forget that kitchen closes at 4 pm if you want to order food. For food - we got the California roll, poke bowl, truffle fries and fruit plate. All of them were delicious!

S A.

Yelp
Best pool party in Miami!! Shauna took amazing care of us. We had the best time. High energy place. Great for special event like a birthday or bachelorette.

Maricely R.

Yelp
Went to the Hyde recently to celebrate a birthday. Hands down, the best place to celebrate with friends. Place was super nice and inviting. Greatest fun ever!!!! Renee and Mike took care of everything we needed, they both provided great service and they were super nice! They look and work so cute together! Highly recommend you ask for them when there!

Olivia B.

Yelp
Renee and Mike took the best care of us at the beach club on a busy long weekend. We never went empty handed and they kept the vibes coming. 10/10 recommend

Zoe K.

Yelp
Went back to Hyde again recently and loved the party they did champagne sprays around pool and fun presentations for bottles... if you want to party the best pool party in Miami !

Nikki S.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday party, we had the most amazing time!!!! Shauna was our server and was the best ever!!!! Will def be back!

Tony S.

Yelp
I went the other weekend for a bachelor party and we Had an incredible time. Shout out to our server Shauna for making our day that much better!

Jenny K.

Yelp
the organization at this place is very unprofessional compared to other pool bars in vegas and in the miami area we had a reservation for a table and paid alot of money but when we showed up they had given our table away. we asked for our money back but they said they'll still do "bottle service" but they would keep our bottles at the bar and we'd just have to come up to drink them...... everyone knows when you pay for bottle service you're essentially paying to have somewhere to put your things and sit down. it's definitely an amateur business so just be weary

Lorine M.

Yelp
We went there for a swimsuit fashion week! We had a few drinks! Didn't try the food but Drinks were good, the scenery was beautiful, fashion show was stunning! Definitely a great place to stop by in Miami!

Yelp
We were invited to a pool party. I had to flag down a server....We first ordered 6 bottles of water, then three alcoholic drinks and a coconut with coconut water only no rum, $158 total for all including tip. I didn't see the receipt right away, I asked the girl if she was taken care of, she said it was paid for, I said but was she taken care of and she said no, I gave her $20, later I saw the tip was originally included. Completely overrated, we won't be back invited or otherwise. If I could give less than one I would. Earlier we were at Yardbird, ONE drink got a person buzzed.....ONE, the drinks were NOT strong here So unless you are a narcissist, who enjoys blowing you cash, being completely sober at an over crowded pool party with too many floats hitting you in the head, with crap service and weak drinks, while frying in the sun with zero misters....STAY AWAY!
google avatar

Olivia A.

Yelp
The best and most lit pool party in Miami. If you're looking for a Vegas-type pool party scene then Hyde Beach in the SLS South Beach hotel is the spot for you. It's pretty easy for girls to get in but make sure you go early (before 1pm) unless you know a promoter. You can easily find a promoter on Instagram. For guys I'm sure there is a cover. It's much harder to get in during big events like WMC and Art Basel. I'd recommend booking a table for those weekends. Saturday is their best day and usually gets popping and busy around 2:30-3. They play mostly edm and house music. It's a 50/50 mix of out of towners and locals. They do a fun champagne shower around the entire pool like 3 or 4pm. There are cute floats for photos too. It's a small pool (nothing gigantic like Vegas) but it does get crowded and busy! It's a pretty boujee party, girls wear heels and dress really cute so make sure you dress the part lol. Lots and lots of people come here to celebrate their bachelor or bachelorette party. You can order drinks and food here and even get your own table or cabana. This is probably the best pool party in Miami, no other hotel is on the same level of fun and excitement. If you are visiting you'll definitely want to come here!

Yelp
When I was younger, I used to work on Miami Beach, but had never been to a pool party on the beach before. So now that I am not hustling on South Beach anymore, I decided why not and try going to Hyde for fun. This year my friends and I went for Night Swim twice, once just for kicks, and the other was to celebrate my early 30th birthday. Both times, the DJ was amazing! It was the same DJ, Damaged Goods, and he's awesome! I love the songs that he play and the transitions were smooth. We got tables by the DJ table both times. It's fun people watching and dancing with friends. We didn't want to be in the crowd, so we picked tables that were away from all the actions. The TSA's are really attentive, they would replenish ice and ask us how we are doing. The servers are a lot of fun, they'd help hype up the crowd by spraying champagnes and water. I can't believe I waited this long to come party at Hyde! Shout out to Nick, Sana, and Hector for amazing services! Thank you guys!

Yelp
Great art event !! I got a lot of great feed back having my art here. Top that staff top notch service! I had a good time music was good great atmosphere.

Yelp
This pool bar is a good go-to, swank, South Beach hotel spot. I came here on a week night after dinner and there was still a decent crowd, music playing, etc. - so you get a small dose of the South Beach party scene without being out to 3am. There is no attitude at the bar and no condescending doorman, just roll up, order your drinks - which come out quickly, and start drinking. The one warning is that the drinks are NYC expensive here. A round of drinks and shots for 7-8 guys was a several hundred dollars. This is a famous, top-shelf hotel, right on the ocean, so don't get upset when the bill comes.
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
Strongly recommend against going here. The security seem to not communicate, make up rules on the go, and seek to line their pockets with random charges. Like so many other reviewers wrote this place just isn't worth your time or energy. Many other great places nearby.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally made it out to Hyde during a recent SOBE staycation. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the following night as well. I was apprehensive at first. While I am down on Miami Beach for dinner almost every weekend, I don't typically stick around for the nightclub scene. I was pleasantly surprised. The entrance is outdoors and directly behind the SLS. The men working the front were very pleasant, welcoming, and professional. None of the expected SOBE snobbery going on here. The pool is not in use at night, but its surrounding areas are beautiful. The outdoor fans help ease up our typical muggy and overly hot Miami nights. I preferred the indoor space because, of course, it was much cooler. The center inside seating area is reserved for the semi-private parties, but as the night goes on people stand everywhere. The DJ played a little bit of everything and was not solely EDM (which was refreshing). As for drinks, well, yes they are expensive. So is everything down on the beach. Good luck finding anything worthy that is affordable. It's ALL overpriced. Thankfully, I usually just go for several drinks and not to drink all night. We found a bartender we liked outside and stuck with him all night. He would see us walking back towards him and with just a hand signal, he knew we wanted another round. Fab! The crowd was quite mixed: locals, tourists, young, old and everything in between. NOTE TO MIAMI MEN: seems like they badly need you at Hyde. The amount of women outnumbered the men there significantly. The people watching was quite entertaining. I had a lot of fun both nights. Hyde is great to start or end the night and I highly recommend it as an after dinner spot if dining at Bazaar or Katsuya.

Yelp
Very expensive but an amazing time if you have the money. Last time I went my tab was over $700. I also got one of those big glass drink for $200 but they put a whole bottle at kettle one vodka in it. Best place party (pool party wise) Saturday and Sunday. Videos on @MrSundayFunday

Yelp
I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. This place is DISGUSTING, and full of scam artists. I WISH the management would reply to this review so they can answer for their pathetic, disgusting skeezeball manager Note: this does not include our waitress, Xandra, who was a charming class act and a wonderful human being. I hope she gets the hell out of this laughable excuse of a place. I'd like to preface this: I have been to clubs and restaurants on four continents in over a dozen countries, from LA to Europe to South America and have NEVER had THIS TERRIBLE of an experience ANYWHERE. Also, I've to Miami many times and have never had anything but a great time We went to this atrocious mess of a place with nine girls. We had a table with a 500 minimum and got in with no issue. Less than an hour after arriving, my friend and I went to the washroom. Hanging on the back of the door was a swimsuit top and a white sarong. It was clearly part of the uniform the waitresses wear and looked like it was left there on accident since it was missing the bottom half. We walked back to our table carrying the swimsuit with the intention of giving it to Xandra. Right as we got to our table, some other waitress GRABBED me by the back of the arm and practically tore it from me demanding to know what I was doing with it, and started squealing like a stuck pig "we stole". FIRST OFF, why in God's name would anyone steal half a swimsuit that someone else wore? She would hear NONE of our perfectly reasonable explanation and ran to her manager, a big white guy who then stated "he saw us walking out with it wrapped in a towel." Our entire group, who witnessed the entire interaction, immediately fired back this was nothing short of absolute bullshit. We kept saying, call the cops then, get them down here, pull the tape! They said, you ripped the bathing suit from her hands. We were actually laughing at how absurd the story was. They just kept ignoring us and insisting we had to leave "for the safety of our staff". Strangely, no one contacted the police although "their staff was assaulted." They refused to let us finish our giant fishbowl drink or half the other items we'd ordered. Let's see you respond to this, you pathetic, piss poor excuse of an establishment. I expect places like this to be douchey but the disrespect, the straight up lies, and the outright slander was beyond atrocious and I will NEVER recommend a single person come to this joke of a business. Nice little scam you got going there, Hyde. Boot the table before the minimum and then let in a group of new people so you can bank profit. My apologies for trying to return half of a swimsuit. Maybe get a fucking lost and found bin next time, since your squeaky little waitress can't keep track of her uniform top?? I would rather sit in the back of a garbage truck than ever set foot within a ten block radius of this dump. AVOID. There are hundreds of beautiful establishments in Miami. Spend your money elsewhere.

Yelp
Hi - NEGATIVE 5 STARS! We visited during the 4th of July week. Upon arrival we checked into a room that was dirty and smelled like dog urine. After a while of waiting in line to change room we switched to a new room which also was dirty, but were too exhausted to travel again. After settling in the AC stopped working. We called the front desk and were advised that the AC would be repaired shortly. It was 90-100 degrees in Miami during that time! The AC hardly worked during our stay, which was extremely difficult as my wife is pregnant and my daughter is 16 months old. Both could hardly sleep. Additionally, the elevators were broken and it could 20 mins to go from the pool to our room. Most of the guests we spoke to were outraged about how horrible the hotel expensive was. We complained to the front of office staff and were assured that the AC would work (it never did). At one point, my wife woke to the manager who yelled at her and was rude and unprofessional! DO NOT STAY HERE!
google avatar

Sandy H.

Yelp
Came here for my bachelorette, and didn't even get to go in. We put a reservation and deposit down for this place but the guys that worked there are disrespectful and pick and choose who they want to let in. We had reserved a cabana for $1k, and they told us after looking at our group our price for our cabana was being raised to $3k. Another group of girls came and they had the same reservation and were let in and didn't have their prices raised! We are a multicultural group of girls and were 100% discriminated against. The owners have no morals and could care less about how they are perceived. I'm glad we didn't end up giving them a penny here anyway. They don't deserve a cent. We ended up going to the Clevelander which was a better decision then these fools. Better music and crowd too! Trust me, don't waste your money here, there are so many other places to go to!
google avatar

Emery S.

Yelp
Efficient service with the drinks, towels, and umbrellas. The drinks were strong and delicious. I would be giving a much higher rating to Hyde Beach if it weren't for an employee repeatedly tickling my feet as I was trying to relax on the beach. Extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional, and put a major dent in my experience.

Danny K.

Yelp
I purchased tickets for $100 dollars each and they did not let me, along with many other ticket holders into the event. They simply asked for a ransom price of $3000 for a table, so you can enter. I wound up paying $3000 and the party sucked. I don't even know why people come here. I also saw the manager, who was drunk, get into a fist fight with a paying customer. As someone who valued integrity and accountably I will never be returning to this establishment. What a waste a beautiful piece of land.
google avatar

Veronica P.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a drink and party by the pool. They have pool parties on Sundays
google avatar

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Be very careful with this place! I booked a table and the promoter, Dejo, told me what I was getting and sent photos of where we would be. When I showed up with 6 people, they gave us a bench (that would maybe fit 3 people) in the way back. Finally after a big hassle they moved us inside which wasn't great because we were in South Beach and wanted to be in the sun! The waitress was super nice, but never came back!! We ordered so many items that never came! Service was horrible!! Plus, they don't care because it's 20% included. They also charge a $100 resort fee...on top of the thousand dollar minimums.... The worst part of all was the women bathroom had poop overflowing out of the drains on the floor. Everyone was walking through it and spreading feces through the club and into the pool! No way this is sanitary or safe! Women were barefoot in the restroom!! Music stopped 1 or 2 times and I don't think the DJ knows what he's doing. Super small venue too...took elsewhere!!
google avatar

Stefanie L.

Yelp
See and be seen!! This is one of THE best places to visit when in South Beach. Always a fun crowd. Table service is definitely the way to go. If not you're stuck without a place to sit and without a place to put your stuff. My only complaint would be that the pool needed to be cleaned. It had that Vegas (Rehab) merky water look. Granted, unlike Vegas you could see the bottom of the pool. But it still had that layer of sunscreen, oil, etc layer floating on it too thickly. The waitresses that serve the tables are wonderful. So sweet and so much fun! This is a great place to hangout during the day when in South Beach!
google avatar

Micael M.

Yelp
Most rude bouncers. Management is completely incompetent. Never had such a horrible experience with service in my hole life.

Ashley D.

Yelp
Danielle and Christina are the best!!! The best service all day and very attentive. Request them when coming!
google avatar

Lindsay L.

Yelp
We had a ton of fun here, until it all came to an end because security guards targeted my friend in the bathroom and kicked her out. There were drunk people EVERYWHERE ...making out in the pool, pouring vodka all over, falling over, tripping over their own feet, but noooo, my friend clearly was out of her mind and needed to be physically removed from the pool party. This place is overpriced and not my style. I've been to WAAAAY better pool parties in Vegas or even Atlantic City for that matter. Pool was tiny and so overcrowded, it was disgusting. DJ wasn't all that impressive either. All in all we had a good time, but that means nothing because we could have had a good time sitting by ourselves on the sidewalk doing nothing. We spent too much money at this place only to be kicked out because I'm assuming they wanted to flip our table & get another group in to spend $$$. Hyde beach, you suck!
google avatar

Dania D.

Yelp
Place is okay. The girl servers in this establishment are not that pleasant even though 20% gratuity is always included. No one tries to make you feel welcomed or goes out of their way to be nice. They are in their own world, minding their own business, and we should be lucky to be there, that is the feeling I get in this place. Sat by the pool and ordered some food. First thing they said we each have to spend $50 in order to sit by the pool because we are not hotel guest, this was not done in a nice curtegeous manner. More like if you don't have the money don't waste my time. I've worked in the service industry and I go out of my way to smile and make everyone feel amazing. Not in this place. At least not in the pool area or inside the bar.

Hadeel S.

Yelp
I've seen bad service in Miami but this is definitely the worst I've ever seen. Our waitress "brinkley" was only taking care of 3 tables and couldn't get it together. We were a group of 5 and our order was relatively simple no modifications no mixed drinks etc. We received 2/5 orders about 30 mins after ordering then 20 mins later the 3rd then 30 mins later the 4th and finally an hr later they brought the 5th (a salad). The place wasn't packed and the waitress rarely showed up. She "highly recommended" everything on the menu and the manager only checked on us before the waitress even approached us and then we didn't see him again. Food taste was very basic portions were normal but everything was significantly overpriced for what we received.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Tons of fun to go to when the weather is nice. Find yourself a promoter and walk right in. See plenty of hot bodies and really enjoy the stereotypical "Miami" scene. There is always a Dj playing on the weekends and the music is generally electronic. Last time I went was for a friends bachelorette and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Also if you can, rent some chairs or a cabana and enjoy!
google avatar

Alexandra T.

Yelp
Came here the other night for Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano. What a great show! Hyde was amazing. The bartenders were friendly (drinks were a little pricey but expected in South Beach--$18 for Tito's and tonic). The ambience outside was amazing--the pool was half covered and a dance floor was installed. Crowd was great--very lively. There was plenty of room to dance and get right in front of the stage. It was very intimate and that's how shows should always be!! Will be back soon!
google avatar

Natty C.

Yelp
Fun pool party vibe but door guy was rude and pretentious. You will probably not get in unless you have a table and spend over $1K. I came here for a bachelorette party and it was mostly other bachelorette and bachelor parties. There are better pool parties in Miami. Save your money.
google avatar

Mahdi J.

Yelp
Located in the SLS, Hyde Beach is perfect if you're looking for a chill lounge that plays EDM and house music.

Yelp
RACISTTT!!!! They are letting in white girls and light skin girls but as soon as we stepped to the front and said we were with a promoter and he wanted to charge us $500. Meanwhile he's letting other girls in left and right. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
