Hyde Ibiza (Ibiza, Balearic Islands) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"From the same Ennismore/Accor partnership responsible for brands like Hoxton, Delano, and Mondrian comes Hyde, an upscale boutique-hotel concern with a laid-back, bohemian vibe. And where better to stretch your laid-back, bohemian legs than Ibiza? Hyde Ibiza stands proud above the sands of the idyllic Cala Llonga Bay, and offers its guests a generous helping of seaside restoration, along with a side of the vibrant nightlife for which this island is so well known." - Tablet Hotels

Fantastic hotel with an amazing pool! A beautiful hotel, but the highlight was definitely the pool! The sea view is absolutely breathtaking — you could easily spend the whole day there. They play relaxing music that perfectly matches the vibe, and the cocktails are top-notch. A special shout-out to my new friend Timmy, the pool manager, whose friendliness and skill really made our holiday extra special. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Overall I would say this hotel is very average. Some good points but mostly negative.||We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check into our room two hours early. Rooms are very basic and we experienced a few issues during our 3 night stay. The safe stopped working a number of times so we had to keep calling for it to be opened (very annoying when you’re grabbing jewellery/debit cards as your about to leave and then have to wait). ||There was a leak coming from our bathroom ceiling. We did report this to reception but nothing seemed to happen. This may or may not have been linked to the air con but this also didn’t seem to work properly. Not nearly cold enough so made for an uncomfortable sleep.||Valet parking at the hotel is €25 a day which we found quite expensive seeing how lots of hotels offer free parking. They need to work on this service as it took 20 minutes + to get our car each time we asked. This made us late to reservations.||Despite the above, the staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also really good and there was a huge range to choose from. We didn’t eat at the other restaurants so can’t comment on them.||Communal areas do need some cleaning. The terrace areas had clumps of hair on the floor which puts you off your breakfast.||Wouldn’t stay here again but would be happy to try the Mondrian next door.

Our stay got off to a slightly rocky start, as the receptionist on arrival was a little abrupt — not quite the welcome we were hoping for. That said, the rest of our experience more than made up for it. The hotel itself is beautiful, set right on the beach with breathtaking views of the sea. It's also perfectly located next to a ferry and boat taxi port, which made exploring the area really easy and enjoyable. The breakfast was superb every morning — delicious food with plenty of choice — and the poolside bar and grill staff were fantastic. A special mention to Timmy, the bar manager, who was incredibly friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. While our "side sea view" was a bit of a stretch, we still loved waking up to the sights and sounds of the coast. The housekeeping team did a brilliant job too — our room was spotless throughout our stay. One thing to note: the day beds around the pool are all chargeable, which isn't made very clear in the booking info. However, the free Bali beds on the upper terrace were excellent and a great place to relax in the sun. All in all, despite the shaky start, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Hyde. The pools were fab. Cala Llonga itself is a small town full of fantastic restaurants and bars so there are options outside the hotel and the business of Ibiza Town or the bigger resorts. The cove itself is stunning. The restaurants in the hotel are great. Bar is great but a bit expensive - the Frozen Spicy Margarita was LIFE CHANGING. The DJ by the pool adds to the vibes. My only downside would be that in our room the air con wasn’t particularly powerful, so in the blazing heat of a heatwave it wasn’t the best. The room itself was comfortable. No odd smells as noted elsewhere. Overall - strong recommend.

Just came back from a great stay at Hyde Ibiza! We stayed in one of the Headliner Suites – it had two king beds, which was perfect for our group of friends. The terrace was huge and had amazing views of the bay. The pool was super fun with a great vibe, and the food was really good too. It was perfect to relax after our evenings at the clubs, we had the best time and can’t wait to go back!

Great views for couples/large groups if staying in cala llonga and willing to pay min bar spend for lounger beds - which reception/towel desk should really mention on arrival. I didn’t find staff very attentive for example being pointed in direction of room at check in, and very often sitting waiting to be served with no menu/drink. Room very small, balcony non existent into a hedge, tv signal poor, sink didn’t drain, shower lukewarm at best, (asked at reception twice but not fixed). No mention of hike, yoga, activities anywhere that I could see, all would have made the hotel feel friendlier and more inclusive. But with the beds min spend just not ideal at all for solo guest, so will be aware of this when booking hotels in future.

The Hyde Hotel in Ibiza certainly presents a beautiful image in its brochures and from the outside. However, the actual experience reveals some areas for improvement. While the hotel's decor is appealing and the rooms are generally adequate, offering comfortable beds and decent bathrooms, the air-conditioning can be quite noisy. Operationally, some aspects could be smoother. The check-in process can feel a bit clunky, and guests are required to pay a compulsory €50 per room, per night deposit. For those arriving before 3:00 PM who wish to use the pool, be prepared to change in the reception toilets and store luggage in a holding area. Observations suggest that staff attentiveness is inconsistent, and there's often limited information provided about hotel facilities or the local area. A welcome pack in the rooms would be beneficial here. Additionally, the hotel appears to attract a clientele that is often very focused on financial appearance, which may contribute to the overall atmosphere and interactions within the hotel. Breakfast is well provisioned, and there are a good number of options that should cater to most requirements. Unfortunately, as with check-in, check-out is extremely chaotic. Be warned - there are no shower or changing facilities provided by the hotel that are available for use post check-out. This, if you have a later flight or transfer, could make beach and pool use unappealing. To end on a positive, the location of Cala Llonga is exquisite. Fantastic local beaches, bars, and restaurants on the doorstep.

I really wanted to love this place. I am a travel agent and picked this spot to celebrate with my husband and a group of friends. We experienced a flurry of issues from check-in to check-out. It was just a headache. It’s a real bummer because this property is stunning. Some of the staff is very rude and don’t care about your experience, while some are lovely. I had to rectify an issue and emailed back and forth with corporate team members who were also lovely. The experience here was just really inconsistent and I couldn’t send future clients here in good faith.
