The flatbread is the best food item. Avoid the nachos. The blackberry Collin’s is a great cocktail they make

Google
It was actually a very good experience. The service was great. The view was better than expected. Overall, a very good setup.

I organized a large (100 people) event for my company here and it was awesome! Great experience: super attentive, friendly staff, food and drinks were tasty and the space is very cool and perfect for a big party. The group had an amazing time. Many thanks to Tiffany for helping setting it all up, always nice to partner with someone who makes it all flow easily, especially for a large group. Thanks to everyone at Spin for taking such good care of us. Will definitely go back!

The Senior manager of Hyde told me they have the right to deny me because I had a service animal. The security continued to mock me and make fun of me making jokes and filming me as i waited for senior mangement to arrive. I patiently waited for no one with actual management capacity (because there is no one who can make decision available) to tell me what to do. Eventually a manager said it was completely fine for me to come in and told the security. The security seemed to not like me because I had a Jewish appearance and started to film me and deny my entrance. He mocked me and laughed while he filmed me instead of ensuring the property was securerd. The manager Manny told me they could deny anyone regardless of race or disability and that it is a private venue that can make any decision it wants. Outside of my own personal experience the lounge itself was dirty with cheap drinks. Getting a GA ticker or access to suite makes way more sense. The pours were weak and the service was less than what you would see at a regular bar.

Google
The only way to do staples! Very good drinks food and service. Super comfortable seating to, the seats are plush and leather. Also got the best view of all the stadium and t.vs in the lounge so u don't miss a thing.

Jeannette G.

Google
Comfortable, yes...if you can get a couch. Drinks are already pricy but the added service charge and gratuity makes the price a drink here quite ridiculous. Honestly, I would rather pay more for my seats and enjoy a domestic beer and have a more satisfying experience. In the end though, you do feel a little bit special when you are here.

Priscilla Fowlkes

Google
They had us wait outside because the promoter that told us we would come wasn’t there. Every other person that was entering the club wasn’t questioned who’s list they were on. They are completely racist.

Robert Martinez

Google
Had a blast here went to see a concert the krush groove. This was a awesome experience will be coming here for every event when coming to the crypto arena. Vip experience to the fullest.

Yelp
Seriously, this place needs better service. Went tonight and the fake rent-a-cops started giving attitude as we were leaving. Service was slow, should use an app to order and speed up things.

Yelp
Exclusive bar/club in the Cryto arena. The nachos are no bueno, for a place this fancy. Tacos, pizza and quesadillas were very tasty. Drinks were good, my sugar rim was overkill though. Staff were very helpful. Great views! I had a great time. Definitely worth it

Yelp
Exceptional customer service. Our girl even remembered my (annoyingly) complicated drink, along with my husbands even though she had probably served hundreds already. Great top shelf and clean options as well (I appreciate this since I have food intolerances/ allergies!).

Yelp
I'm torn on this place. I really love their intimate setting. They have a bar and waitresses. Small but lively. Prices are fair and the drinks very. The food is decent. Pricing depends on the performer. My only gripe is that we were promised a couch for 3 of us but we ended up sitting behind the couches with an obstructed view. They also don't tell you a few hidden fees when your tab arrives. Will I come back? Maybe.

Yelp
Located at the C Suite level at Staples center. We had a reservation but something went wrong and we ended up not having our reserved seats and sat at the back row with bar type counter seating. We would have been fine but the two rows in front of us didn't bother to sit down during the game so they obstructed our view while they chatted about everything else but basketball...ugh!!! It's definitely a cool place to hang out, listen to music (live DJ) before the game and socialize but I spent money to watch the Lakers not talk to my friends for a full three hours. The food is your typical bar food: nachos, wings, sliders, hummus etc. Food is pretty good but like everything at Staples it's not cheap nor are the drinks. They have full bar and bottle service but our table service was so so slow. They do have a dress code to get in so no shorts. I wore jeans and a jersey and I was able to get in although it seemed like other people were more dressed up than I was. You also have to be 21 or older to get in.

Yelp
The hip spot at staples. Pros: love everything about this iconic sbe venue and location at staples center. Great ambiance, vibe and music for all events happening at the venue. The entire team at Hyde staples are professional, nice and accommodating. Taylor and Ben were super in greeting guests and welcoming them for my reservation. The service is top notch and I would highly recommend a visit to Hyde staples. Sara was great. Perfect for having friends enjoy the game while drinking and socializing. Bar has a few very well trained bar tenders who are extremely quick and make tasty drinks. Game food menu is also fair and has great shared items. I loved the quesadillas, nachos and the chocolate cake was also great. Cons: nothing worth noting. Novelty: don't miss out on visiting Hyde!

Yelp
Located inside the Staples Center on the top floor where the suite rooms are at, you can watch basketball games and concerts in a bar/club like environment. Nothing like some deafening Pitbull music and weird creepy guys acting like an episode of Jersey Shore while watching Lonzo Ball airball 3 pointers all night. Go Lakers! Like I said it's a bar/club/lounge type place where you can watch the game and I'm not entirely sure what the requirements are to get in here but my friend knows someone that works at Staples so me and her got in no problem. They have a full bar and have bottle service for events as well. The drinks are priced at what you would expect for a place like this. The view is fine, you aren't right up on the action in a place like this but you can still get into the action from where you are. For what it's worth I have been here 2 times and seen a celebrity both times. First time saw Kevin Hart. This most recent time I saw Will Ferrell. I gave him a high five and yelled fight on because we're both USC fans. He was drunk as f.. He barely even connected with me on our high five lol. Reminded me of him when he was in old school. I think you can just get right in no problem but some days are different than others. Oh and there is a dress code. They do enforce that. So no sports jersey's and shorts. Dress like you would to get into a nightclub. It's fun to check out at least once. And by my odds, if you come here the same night I come you are guaranteed to see a celebrity ; )

Yelp
Came to check out the Hyde Lounge since we had suite access during a Clippers game. The drinks were about $14 and made pretty strong which was great. If you want a bottle service type atmosphere to enjoy the game then this place is where you want to be. We asked about the pricing and it starts at about $400 for a table that seats 6 which is a pretty good deal considering that includes admission, food, drinks, and suite level seating.

Yelp
Giving this a 1 star particularly for the rudest bartender I have ever encountered. His name is RICH. I go to staples often for games and really enjoy popping in to Hyde during halftime. I was given two drink tickets with a girlfriend of mine for being loyal customers. But the bartender who was serving wanted nothing to do with us. Even when he wasnt busy he looked at us and said "I don't have time for your drink tickets", and just waited for a new customer to approach. He said it twice to us within 10min. We would have tipped him for his service but he was rude and belittling. -Jorge is great, the door guys and security are great there. Casey a cocktail waitress is amazing, but because of this one bartender I don't think I will ever be back.

Yelp
Pretty cool spot hidden inside Staples on the same floor as the C suites. I'm not really sure how you get in here or if it's a big deal to because we were in the suite next door but I would encourage you to try! It's pretty small and crowded but worth stopping by if you don't have to pay or anything. Bar is small but good. Much better selections here than downstairs or at the suite level bar carts. There are places to sit but I wouldn't come here expecting to. It pretty much seemed to stay crowded although we came during half time so maybe that was why. Supposedly they have food and it's supposed to be pretty good but I didn't try anything.

Yelp
Very nice lounge and the drinks are very yummy and of course very pricy. There is a lounge/club vibe to it. The doormen are very obnoxious and think act like they owned the damn place. Once inside they will try to upgrade your seats but at a price of course. The food was ok, I got the beef sliders.

Yelp
Great spot.. Jorge Favela hooked us up. Stopped up here before heading to seats for a concert recently. Watched the opener for a bit. Cool vibe. Only minus couldn't order any food to the bar. I understand but is what it is.. Check it out.. if you can get entry...

Yelp
NEVER GO TO OR CALL THIS PLACE!! THEY ARE SO RUDE!!! Host won't give info about reservations or pricing without a FULL PERSONAL INFORMATION PROFILE. Not to mention just calling (not even leaving a message) gets you text messages. When exactly did I tell you that you could text me? He then basically told me the price and reservations change based on who you are/who you call first. Then told me if I value my privacy, or care of they text without prior consent that I "don't need to make a reservation" there! Really?! For a 3 star establishment in a sports arena no less? What a freaking joke! Glad I never spent a dime here, bullet dodged. I suggest you do the same.

Yelp
Wow, I was lucky I finally visited the Hyde Lounge with my friend. She is well connected and has been coming here for over five years. So many times I would get the Hyde wristband with her but for years I would never use it. I finally went with her and it is really cool. The bar is top notch. The only place in Staples Center that I found that they had Hennessy. The blackberry drink and the champagne shot that we ordered were amazing. Sorry I had to much Jack & Coke before heading up to take notes of what the drinks were named. For funny I'll call it Kobe's Kamikaze Farewell drinks. The bartenders and doormen are very friendly. I'm so glad I finally visited. You get an ice view of the ice rink below. There are some booths available but most people are standing. The food smelled good. Maybe next time I'll order something. If you ever get invited or have the opportunity to visit Hyde - do it!

Yelp
It's unfortunate how terribly managed this VIP longe is. Last night after receiving tickets to our first Laker game of the season, my fiancé and I were so excited to check out this spot and watch the game. We showed up late (traffic etc.) and even though our tickets scanned perfectly fine at the entrance for some reason they couldn't be found when we got to the lounge. We waited for about 10-15 minutes being passed around from person to person, (even the dj / random associate hanging out with the door guy asked to see them.) Finally Taylor C. came out to try and resolve the problem. We were allowed in after the door guy kept insisting we were in the wrong location and questioning our food voucher. We showed our tickets, original emails, literally anything they asked for. We received a drink and about 10 minutes later (still not seated) Taylor came in to say we were in the room next store. We walked over hoping to watch the game and enjoy ourselves only for Sedu the other security guard to berate us and tell us we were in the wrong room. He didn't even stand up to greet us, instead sat and pointed to the door. We tried to explain we were told to come here and he still had 0 concern or integrity to walk us back over to resolve yet another problem. We walked back over and the door guy at Hyde lounge walked over to Sedu and told him the situation. For a second time we walked over and Sedu decided to ask the entire party is anyone knew us and when they responded No he told us we had to leave. AGAIN. Just to preface this was the entire 3rd quarter. As we walked back to Hyde lounge, very frustrated at this point asked for Lauren who was fully dressed to leave for the night she put her bag down and Finally they started scrambling to find our seats and figure out what was going on. A gentleman walked from the back and handed her a ticket list, she looked through her computer again, wrote down my fiancé's name, corporate company we had received the tickets from and then POOF the gentleman walked us into the lounge and sat us down in random open seats with 5 minutes left in the game. 5! I expressed how disgustingly we were treated, especially by Sedu, and how no one should be ridiculed and talked to like their tickets don't exist when the QR code worked fine at the door. He apologized and said the manager would be over to talk. Lauren came over. For this lounge to be held at such high standards with people spending generous amounts of money their should be better management and communication. It's absolutely appalling how the situation was handled, and when asking for names of the people working their all of a sudden no one knows each other's name or last name. Taylor was the only one fourth coming. All the security team had no idea what Sedu's last name was which I find very interesting. Living in LA for over 10 years, I've had box seats to Adele, Snoop concerts, other Laker games, and this is by far the worst experience. Save your money and book with another suite/ lounge.

Yelp
I came here tonight to see the Clippers vs. Mavericks game, and LOVED this lounge! We reserved tickets online for the lounge, so I got a confirmation call earlier in the day. They told me where to pick up the tickets, and specified that there would be a dress code for Hyde Lounge - so no sneakers or sandals allowed. We parked in the LA Live ($25) lot just across from the SW VIP entrance (at 11th & Georgia), which is between the LA Convention Center and Staples Center. This is good to know because if you're adhering to the "dress to impress" dress code for the lounge, us girls likely will be wearing heels! So park close!! We got to the SW VIP entrance, where they took our credit card to run ($25/peson), and then we got in line to walk through the metal detector and be let in. A short elevator ride to floor C, and a walk down the hallway where there's access to the suites, and we arrived at the velvet-roped entrance to Hyde Lounge. A big bouncer dude checked our tickets and IDs, and stamped our hands before we were let in. Once inside, it was an AWESOME view! SO awesome in fact, that I'd like to watch every single game I ever see from THIS vantage point! There were couch seating areas, standing positions, and cushy leather stadium seats that all had awesome views of the court. Glass partitions separated the lounge from the suites on either side of us, and didn't obstruct our view of the whole place in the least. The stadium seats were along the edge of the balcony, and required a minimum purchase of $40 worth of food and/or drinks per person. Servers came over to take orders, and if I was hungrier I would have LOVED to take advantage of this! The food they served looked pretty good - I saw an impressive shrimp cocktail ($45), Nachos w/chili ($21) and a Caesar salad ($10) go by. Portions looked generous, and there were other sammiches and salads on the menu that made it look like eating relatively healthy was doable. There was music playing, but it didn't interfere with the game - or conversation with others. Yay! After the game ended, we were leaving but other people looked like they were staying - I'm not sure for how much longer. My conclusion: this is THE way to watch a game! No sitting in cramped seats, nobody's head blocking your view, and food and drinks served to you. All for a $25 cover? Sounds like a damn fine deal to me!!
google avatar

Arnel D.

Yelp
A great spot for bottles and service. The only problem is if you're stuck standing without a place to sit. The food is much better here than at the Windows. A few lucky fans get invited here as well so it does get a bit crowded but still worth the visit. You get a full view of the arena without any obstructions.
google avatar

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! My friends and I came to Hyde Lounge back in March 2011 for the Clippers vs. Mavericks game, so my review is way long overdue. It was also for a Yelp event, so the cover fee was reduced to $25 -- which was great, until we realized we had no where to sit to actually watch the game. There were lounge seats with no view of the game but had TV screens nearby, which defeated the purpose of actually attending the game to watch it live, so that was no bueno. There were box seats available but required a minimum purchase of $60 worth of drinks and food per person; otherwise, you had to stand. Out of my group of seven, two friends and I decided we no longer wanted to stand to watch the game, so we bought $60 worth of food and drinks to sit. While I thought it was a little ridiculous, I have to admit the seats are super plush and comfy, and the view is great. I've sat in the 100s section before and I think I like the view from Hyde Lounge better. Due to the angle, I was actually watching the game on the court, whereas in the 100s section, I often found myself looking up and watching the game on the screen. We unfortunately lost that game, but it was still a great experience. Shortly after the game, they started playing club music and dimmed the lights, so it really does become a nightclub; but we didn't stay. Most of my friends were beat from standing and watching the game all night and just wanted to go home. There is a dress code to abide by since it's a "club", so you want to dress to impress. Other sport attendees might look at you funny, but Hyde Lounge attendees enter from the VIP entrance and are taken up to floor C via a separate elevator, and guided through the San Manuel area. And of course, 21+ to enter. ETA 11/11/12 Because of the Yelp event, I only had to pay $25 to enter Staples Center & Hyde Lounge (and then another $60 to sit). I was curious to see how much the tickets are priced regularly and I contacted a host. Apparently, each seat costs anywhere from $150-200 depending on the event, and the ticket includes drinks and food. Not bad, if you're willing to splurge! If you can afford it, I definitely recommend getting seats in the Hyde Lounge.

Yelp
Very nice nightclub good music and good service. Very nice crowd would go again. I had dinner there then a club food is great

Yelp
I love coming to the staple center to watch the Lakers and the Clippers. I was lucky enough to be invited to Hyde for the Clippers/Rockets game earlier this season. It was good GOOD times! - Sit by the railing, full view of the court. - Order food while you watch the game. They bring you a tray if needed. Very convenient! - Wayyyyyy better food than the rest of the stadium seats, served on real plates. - You can stay around and hangout even after the game is over. The bar stays open and the music doesn't stop. I would LOVE to come back again, it takes the game experiences to the next level!

Yelp
What swankier (do people still use that word?) place to watch the game from inside Staples than behind the velvet rope and black curtains of the Hyde Lounge. Been fortunate enough to be able to enjoy some time at the Hyde Lounge on a couple of occasions. Once for a private party and the other just to have drinks. I like it... Not cause its exclusive but it's a totally different way of seeing the game. It's almost like the live game going on is in the background and you're in your own world. Premium liquor is readily available, of course. Bottle service during the game is available. Music is being played inside Hyde... And after the game, the place is turns into a nightclub. Full on DJ and dancing. Hyde Lounge is definitely a different experience at Staples. I'm definitely a fan of the place.
google avatar

Cheri A.

Yelp
It's a great place to come if you want to get all dressed up, have bottle service and not necessarily watch the game. I recently went up after a game and it's just too crowded and dark...I maybe I just not a club person any longer.
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Douchey crowd and dance music aside, they serve the BEST nachos at Staples Center! The toppings are the same as Camacho's Nachos, but the chips are fresh baked. I was too full to sample dessert, but the slices of chocolate cake and cheesecake looked pretty good, too. It's way too crowded during Lakers games, so come by during the Clips show instead. Bonus: We made it to the jumbo tron after halftime here.
google avatar

West C.

Yelp
The front doormen, i.e. security guards, are way too loud, completely obnoxious and absolutely ignorant. They should just shut up and be cool. I laugh thinking how these security guards have some real ignorant attitude. Keep it real fellas - you make minimum wage and are just there to observe and report. Don't try to act like some tough body guards with your cheap suits. The clientele trying to come into that over-priced lounge are usually kick-back people with money who aren't interested in causing drama. Staples Center management should retrain these fools in customer service or just stop telling them to act like wannabe tough guys. Hire people who know how to smile and are polite.

Yelp
Went on 08/03/21 for the group firme concert this experience was amazing thank you Taylor for all the attention we will be back soon for other events

Yelp
My 1st time going here during a Lakers game and it was pretty much how I imagined: packed with a bunch of drunkin dudes. Where the wimmin at? Granted we headed up at half time so there weren't any seats left, but from what I gathered if you want the prime seats by the rail you have to do bottle service and be willing to throw down the typical big bucks, like $1k. No thanks. I came up with my buds and left them there after a few minutes and went back to our table at the San Manuel Club. The door man controlling the velvet rope was about the coolest/friendliest of his ilk that I have ever encountered. Mucho props to him. Not sure how one gains access as one of my buddies knows someone of importance that works at Staples, but if I were you I wouldn't go out of your way.

Mike F.

Yelp
AWFUL DOORMAN!!! The place itself is fine. But management MUST get rid of the abrasive, big, bald, doorman who handles letting people in the lounge. He is confrontational with guests and starts fights. He uses his tiny bit of authority to its full advantage. My group will NEVER go back there again until this guy is gone. The way he treats season ticket holders, and all guests who spend a ton of money on the events/teams is unacceptable! He legitimately picks fights with guests. We all witnessed him doing it! Once he's gone we would go back.

Yelp
Hyde was pretty cool, got in for free last night, because it was a Clipper pre-season game. lots of TVs, nice comfy leather seats and a DJ spinning wikity wack beats. If you are going to pay to get in make sure you make a reservation, if you are not in the box seat area or or in the booths the views are not the best. Bartenders where nice, only 2 of them but they got the job done. Beers where $8 and specialty drinks where about $16. Seems like chicks would dig it more than dudes.
google avatar

Kathy S.

Yelp
We checked this place out for the first time and it was okay. My rating is based on my own experience where we didn't have seating and was standing around. I'm sure if we had seating, it would have been a lot more enjoyable. If you don't have a seat, you are left hunting for a spot where you can actually see the live game, which is difficult with all the people there who have the same intention as you. The majority of our group ended up just watching it on the TV screens instead, which somewhat defeats the purpose of even being at the game. Tip: In case you were thinking of hitting the concession stands outside the lounge, be aware that outside food/drinks are not allowed inside (you can take beers you purchase in the lounge outside though).
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Hollywood hipster meets downtown swagg. seriously so awesome. Like Elizabeth Y. said, whoever thought of putting a CLUB/LOUNGE in the secret VIP floor of staples... genious. We got in via the SW VIP entrance (to the R of the main ticket booth) and went up the elevator to floor 3... short wait and then WOW... open view of the court, of the multiple bars and cute bartenders, and of all the people dressed to impress. Carlos at the bar makes a MEAN blackberry mojito, fresh n fierce. right at halftime and after the show, a live DJ (yes, resident staples dj different and way cooler than the one for the game) spun the club beats to turn the area into a dance club. Different, but cool....very cool, in a good way. Great to see how the other half lives and plays. NOTE: dress code is more than your usual sports-game attire. it's a lounge. dress to impress or you wont get in.

Yelp
After watching Lakers games, and experiencing concerts at Hyde Lounge, it was time to take in a Kings playoff game from Suite Level C. The Los Angeles Kings kicked off their second-round playoff matchup against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night. It was the first time in 21 years that the Kings have opened up a playoff series at home. The atmosphere was electric as I walked into a sellout Staples Center crowd spinning white playoff towels over their heads. The DJ inside Hyde was spinning the hottest music, getting the Kings faithful ready for the big game. The first thing that stood out to me was how good the seats were. Not only could I see the action perfect with the naked eye, but also the two TV monitors above my head were a great addition. I always enjoy having access to the TV feed so I can watch the replays. We didn't have to wait long for something to cheer about. Slava Voynov got a slap shot past Sharks goalie Antti Niemi with 19:47 left in the first period. It was time to celebrate. My waiter brought me over a cocktail and I also ordered from him a grilled chicken sandwich. Less than 10 minutes later, my dinner was served. It included marinated char-grilled chicken breast, fontina cheese, baby spinach and lemon garlic aioli on focaccica bread. All of Hyde Lounge's sandwiches also come with a small green salad, pre dressed with their house vinaigrette. I would rate it at least ten times better than your average stadium hotdog and my meal was only $13.00. Moving on to the second period, where I learned a few things: First, Mike Richards is pretty good. He scored a goal to put the Kings up 2-0 with 12:30 left on the clock. I also learned during a timeout that Kings star Drew Douglas prefers the 110 freeway over the 405 freeway, dogs over cats, Mila Kunis over Kate Upton, and finally he likes the Lakers more so than the Clippers. Drew and I agree on all fronts. All that being said, the Kings game on Tuesday night can be summed up in two words. Jonathan Quick. He was the star of the game. Quick made 35 saves in his sixth career playoff shutout to help the Kings win, the opener of the second-round series, 2-0 against the San Jose Sharks. The silver confetti dropped from the rafters, the black curtains were closed by security, the Hyde DJ started to play "Shout" by the Isley Brothers and Hyde Lounge turned into a Kings after party/nightclub within minutes. After a 2-0 victory, I'm not ashamed to admit I was ready to bust out some dance moves myself. It was great to finally experience the #HydeSuiteLife during a Kings playoff game and I definitely will be back for food, drinks, music, and most importantly LA Kings victories!

Yelp
Went for a company event. This defeats the purpose of going to the game. No view unless you spruce $$$ for a bottle for the area, and only have a handful of seats that enable you to watch. The Bartenders are horrible and they only know how to serve beer and vodka/mixers. I ordered a Don Julio on the rocks, and the bartender didn't even fill the shot glass so I got shafted. Ordered a Vodka/Soda and drink was nearly $20 of soda. Overlooking the fact he didn't pour the requisite shot of tequila, I was not going to be screwed on be 2nd drink. Had to remind the bartender to add more alcohol and he did it copping attitude. Unbelievable. If you want to deal with attitude, bad service, and not enjoy the game, feel free to come here. Otherwise, AVOID!!!

Ultimate date spot - if you are willing to spend. I have brought a few dates and even my dad to a couple games going this route. It's great because you're at a sporting event but you don't have to be SUPER involved in the game if you choose not to. And if you're into the game, well you're in luck cause you have a great angle, a great seat, and a wonderful view. This is the best way to take a girl to a basketball game because you get a comfy seat, food, drinks, and a good view. Private bathroom and everything is more "exclusive" - women love exclusivity. No lines for food and drink, no lines for the bathroom, and the place becomes a club at half time and post game. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The food is decent, a step-up from the stadium food. I would recommend the nachos and the chicken lettuce wraps. BOOMSHAKALAKA

Yelp
Came here after the Lakers Bulls game on a Thursday night and it was poppin! Cover is ridiculous being $25, but we met Jeremy Piven and the girls were not stuck up at all. Everyone having a good time after a win. Their bottle service during the game sounds interesting. I'll be back there.

Yelp
I was torn between giving the Hyde Lounge a 2 or 3 star review and ultimately went with the 2 based on service. I should mention that my (and a friends) entrance/seating were free so have no complaints about the cost, BUT I am a pretty plain gal who LOVES hockey and that was what I expected to come for.... a GREAT game. Upon arrival I was required to give my DL and credit card to the waitress for our 'tab.' I thought it was odd but I suppose that's standard. The waitress came by and we were not wanting to order anything at that moment but asked that she come back later...which she never did. As one guy commented, we felt that as soon as she could tell we were not willing to spend half my months rent on a night of drinking we never saw her again.....YET the gents 6 seats over had food and drinks coming every period, and with no waitress in sight. The atmosphere is that of a club, and I suppose I should have expected it with 'Lounge' in the name. Behind our seats sat a group of 20 something girls drinking martinis, eating shrimp cocktails and complaining about how hard their life was. Barf! Totally NOT my thing when watching ANY live sport. My friend came wearing her Kings jersey and jeans, while I was in jeans with a Kings shirt and jacket. We were clearly under-dressed when most of the other women were dressed to the nines. I am unsure sure why anyone would wear 5 inch stilettos heels to a sporting event, but I don't think many women were there to watch the game. I was finally able to flag the waitress down during the second intermission and ordered cookies/brownies (apparently the dessert cart had already passed and was denied a candy apple) as well as chicken lettuce wraps. Eating them was awkward as I had to hold the heavy plate on my lap and not look like a spaz while eating..... and was never offered a tray as some guests were. The food was good, better than the other choices available but of course more $. The waitress advised us 5 minutes before the end of the game that she was going to close our tab as the game would be ending soon......cut to 30 minutes AFTER the game and still yet to sign my card slip AND to get my DL and card back. Asked one of the male servers about it and was told that 'she was busy getting everyone's bills together.' A nice guy standing next to me (apparently waiting for his bill too) said that I needed to harass her for my check as soon as I saw her. It worked and was happy to get my check, but diasspointment that my 2 items cost me $43....and a 14% gratuity was included. I guess I should read menus fully before ordering. Other than that the game was great! The seats were comfy and the view was amazing. The atmosphere makes it very distracting to watch the game, especially later in the game when everyone is buzzed.

Yelp
My wife and I had were given an invite here before a recent Kings game and it was a nice experience. The doorman were extremely polite and we had zero entry problems. The bartenders where fine and we didn't notice an attitude or anything like that but we are from Orange County so things don't rub us the wrong way that may bother other people. All-in-all it was a fun change to stop in and have a drink while catching a part of the game. We typically opt for closer seats in the PR Level just because it imbeds you in the game more but that isn't any fault of the lounge at all. Few places give you the option of being in a high end lounge and also being able to get a piece of the live environment at the same time. If you are able to get an invite or are connected with people who can get you in here, it is definitely worth a try.

Yelp
I got to enjoy the Michael Buble concert this past Friday from Hyde Lounge! It was a great place to see a concert! Loved the lounge and the bar area. We had an open bar so that was a plus! I can see how people do not like Hyde Lounge for a basketball game or hockey game- but for a concert it was quite incredible. The lounge during the concert was great- but the minute Michael Buble ended- the music turned up and it became a dance club- that was a little much for our tastes. This is why I am giving Hyde Lounge at Staples 4 stars instead of 5. We decided to head back to the new JW Marriott and enjoy a night cap there! Plus the JW Marriott bar area is a really fun place to grab cocktails in the evenings and a great place for people watching!

Yelp
I've had the pleasure of coming up to the Hyde lounge for a few events and had a phenomenal time each time! Our bartender Chris (cute white boy) really took care of us. I felt so fab sipping on my drinks watching the game (which I honestly didn't care about) and you see the occasional celebrity! Ill definitely be back at the Hyde Lounge when I come to the Staples Center for an event.

Yelp
On a week night my boyfriend announced we were going to watch the Laker game at Hyde. I'm thinking WTF? Hyde, as in Hyde nightclub? I am looking at my jeans and t-shirt thinking do I need to change? Although I am a fan of Hyde in Vegas, and have heard of the one in Hollywood, I never knew one at Staples Center existed. I like sports, but when my bf gets Laker or Clipper tix I normally suggest he bring his friends instead haha. I was informed I didn't need to change but I swapped my uggs for heels and off we went. Hyde is located within Staples center. It's closer to the top so the view is not that of front row or level one seats, but for me this was no big deal. While you can opt to stand (like a club) there is also lounge seating. My group purchased an area so we had a decent view of the game and a nice little area to relax in. They serve food and drinks and offer bottle service at times. The staff is very friendly an attentive. Overall I really enjoyed Hyde. I can't complain about a nice relaxing place to watch the game accompanied by good food and drinks.

Yelp
This is my first time going to the Hyde Lounge at the Staple center for a Clipper vs Trailblazer game. Gilt.com was offering a great deal ! 6 Tickets, 1 Bottle of Liquor, 1 Bottle of Champagne, and 6 entrees. We got an AMAZING table view! Don't expect to sit close up to the players, its not about that here. We sat on the 5th level, but we were able to see everything. We all started to realize we needed glasses because looking at the fans it was like seen a Van Gough painting. But this is old age. Service was okay, we didn't constantly need to be watched by our waitress, but she was there when we needed her. The bouncers were super friendly and helpful. The bus boys were also very helpful and constantly check in on us. The crowd- older people with money who care about style more than the game. Also alot of business people. Overall- I would do this again if the gilt deal was offered again!

Yelp
Came here for the first time after a Muse concert. I have to say, genius idea putting a club/lounge at Staples Center, especially considering all the wannabe Hollywood star types that go to Lakers and Clippers games. We went in after the concert, but apparently you can view the games and concerts from the longue and just stay until the club opens up. My brother took care of the cover, so I don't know how much it costs to get in, but it is definitely a great spot to take a date after a game/concert. They have a DJ that comes on after the event is over and it is pretty good music, mostly pop songs. The drinks and strong, but cost $14-$15 for cocktails. Nice music and nice overall vibe. Will definitely go again, hopefully for a Lakers game so it will be more packed.

Yelp
Every time I have been at Hyde Lounge I have received excellent service. The seats are great, service is great, and what better way to watch a concert than with a group of friends on a couch & bottle service! The only complaint would be $13 for a mixed drink in small cups. The food is decently priced and has a good variety of items on their menu. This is also a great place to watch a game, then stay for the nightclub afterwards and not have to worry about a cover charge and crowds at LA Live.

Yelp
Although we have good Lakers season tickets, we opt to go to Hyde. It is a very comfortable alternative to the small walkways and tiny seats of the Staples Center. Especially when going to the game as a group, you can get a table some drinks and some food while being comfortable on a couch. You can get a gourmet chicken sandwich for the same price as the terrible nachos on ground level. The drinks are great, the cocktail women and bartenders are the best! My favorite place to watch the Lakers, Clippers, Kings, and concerts.

Yelp
Very comfy seats and service was excellent! Food was regular bar food but when it's included in the package can't go wrong with it. We were closer to the stage so the view was great. Don't miss out on the incredible dessert cart that passes by from lounge to lounge. That was my favorite part

Yelp
This place is pretty swanky. Got invited to a private Crown Royal party and had a blast. Drinks were flowing, music was going. Definitely a fan and the view is amazing

Yelp
My experience at Hyde : Money grubbing girls hollering " where the ballers at ? " Keep it moving missy...... I don't be trickin". Cool Place to party, but be weary of the Vultures who come in looking fly and try to sip on your bottle. Highlight of the night : I'm on the dance floor babysitting my bottle of Jack, when all of a sudden I bump into this tall black dude, I turn around and think .."hey, that kinda of looks like James Worthy...ohh sh8t ..it is James Worthy!"

Yelp
I was super stoked when I won at my company party a pair of tickets to the JingleBall to sit in the VIP Hyde Lounge section with $100 food and drink credit. One of the things I like about going to the Staples Center is that I can take the train downtown to where it stops outside the Staples Center/LA Convention Center. No hassle with traffic nor high parking fees. When we got to the Staples Center it was a zip in the back door with no lines to get up to the VIP section. VIP section but definately not VIP food. As one who likes to eat clean this was definately a cheat night, nearly impossible to get healthy food. We had a view overlooking the entire Staples Center. Eating $100 worth of food and drinks is nearly impossible! When the kitchen was getting ready to close the waitress told us that we had $30 left to spend. To use up our credit we ordered deserts to take home. At the end of the night we received a $30 tab. The waitress failed to tell us that there were $40 in other mysterious fees. My bedtime is 10pm. It was sometime after midnight I was barely keeping my head up so I paid the bill. If I were my usual Ronda Rousey self I would have argued the bill and threw the brownies back at her!!!! We weren't even hungry! Deceitful and dishonest! If I were indepedently wealthy I can't say this is something I would pay for out of my own pocket.

Yelp
The idea behind Hyde Lounge is great, an upscale vibe at a sporting event but it just ends up being a bunch of snotty employees leaving you to rot as you watch from a high-top table near the 300 level for 5X the price. Our waitress Natalie got our food orders wrong and never even so much as apologized or tried to fix it, instead she offered to make us a drink with the alcohol and mixers that had already been provided for free with our package. After the game was over, she never brought us our bill so we could close out. We had to get up and find her three separate times before finally getting our card/Id back. The game ended at 10, we were no longer eating or drinking, yet we still waited until 10:40 to leave because she took her sweet time and had the nerve to send someone else over with our final bill. Atrocious service, overpriced food that you can get on the concourse and the view isn't even all that great.

Yelp
Went as a guest for a company event for the RHCP concert. Thought the experience was great and our bartender (Nick) was phenomenal!
