Learned about this place in 2019, came to peak through the fence and was thoroughly enchanted. Last year I learned of the tour through Royal Parks (Hidden Stories of Hyde Park) and was finally able to go on it today, 5 years later. It was definitely worth the wait. I understand people want this to be more easy access, but that simply can't be. This is a fragile and delicate site with a beautiful history. This house has been private property since before the burials began, that's why the graves appear so 'crammed' in. But they are full of love. Coming from a time period where animals weren't believed to possess souls, it's touching to see how people still moved mountains for their little ones. (Mainly dogs, but a few cats, birds, and monkeys too!)
Jonathan and Graham led the tour through the park, they're both spectacular and knowledgeable people. It only runs once a month, so be aware of that.
Either schedule a tour, or go for a quick peek while enjoying a day in Hyde Park.
