Darren our server was a lot of fun to have with us during our meal 🥘 with friends. And made it a blast 💥 overall. Ordered 2 Tomahawks which came out medium rare and a little bit more rare on another one . They did offer to cook it further , but we declined . Thought the quality of the Tommy was good but some pieces were too chewy and hard to cut . And just wish it came with Zip Sauce. Otherwise it was a solid meal and this is my 3rd time visiting this establishment. Thanks again 🙏

Darren and co-workers are top-notch professional wait staff in their white uniforms. They carefully watched each other's tables to ensure customer satisfaction. 🍽🍹 We used a gift card and our first time. The menu was mouth-watering just reading the entrée section and great 🍷wines. My steak n lobster 🦞 was tender and beyond taste bud's greatness....... Generous food portions ( belly busting, Santa 🎅 style) We closed our dinner out with salted caramel cheesecake 😋. Truly recommend. BTW, COZY TABLES & CHAIRS. Nice n clean bathrooms.

First time visiting Hyde Park. I made a reservation and was seated immediately. Order the calamari for an app. Really good. Had better. Wish it was crispier. The double chop salad was probably the best thing I had. For my entree, ordered the porterhouse with spinach gratin. The cook on the steak was good. Did have a thicker gray band, so it wasn't evenly cooked. The all day rosé and s'mores dessert was great. The service was amazing! Everyone that came to the table was very pleasant.

Google
Hyde Park was a great experience. The staff did a great job and the food was spectacular! We started with the ahi tower, shared the brussel sprouts, and the millionaire pototos. Finally I finished with the steak Daly and my wife had the American waygu and they both were so delicious.

From the moment we walked into Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse in Northville, we were met with an ambiance that instantly set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The setting is dark, sultry, and sexy—perfect for a romantic date night or an upscale dinner to impress. We were fortunate to have Derek as our server, and he was phenomenal, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly well-versed in the menu. Derek made us feel welcomed and at ease—especially as first-time guests. He mentioned Stephanie (a co-server) by name, though she never personally engaged with our table; a female staff member briefly dropped off dirty dessert spoons (meh) no way to know if it was Stephanie or not. Still, Derek handled our experience with excellence from start to finish. Everything at Hyde Park is à la carte, and each course was a standout. We ordered cocktails of course…salads (Cesar and a wedge salad). For entrees, steaks—one was prepared perfectly (Steak Goff —juicy medium-rare as requested, and the other (Steak Cabrera) leaned a little too rare for our liking, but still tender and flavorful. The sides were hearty and satisfying. The spinach gratin in particular was a hit—creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. The one-pound baked potato didn’t disappoint either and added that classic steakhouse touch; to our request, we added bacon, cheese, and chives for the classic loaded effect. Dessert was a true showstopper. We ordered the flaming butter cake and it was absolutely DELICIOUSSSSSSSS—warm, gooey, and indulgent in all the best ways. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the staff was prepared with a thoughtful surprise: a s’mores-inspired treat featuring a candle, melted ganache, marshmallow, and a graham cracker base. A sweet and classy gesture. While the food was excellent, the real star of the night was the atmosphere and service. Hyde Park nails it with their attention to aesthetic detail and front-of-house experience. We left full, impressed, and already planning our return. Highly recommend for special occasions, romantic nights out, or whenever you just want to treat yourself to something elevated.

First time trying this gem. We love trying different stake houses. The service here is top tier. Food arrived before we have time to think about it. Side potions are generous.

Nice high end Steakhouse. Excellent service. Calamari was excellent. Great filet. Halibut was so so.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is impeccable. The Lobster Bisque is the best I’ve ever had. The Chicken Milanese is always delicious.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in the door, our experience was amazing. Effortlessly made our reservation online, walked in and we were sat. Our server Anthony M, he was incredible with his knowledge of cuts of meat to how we should order. I can't say enough about this Steak House and our experience. Completely satisfied and that has a lot to say with the quality of the food and service. I know these days we are paying more and NOW, expecting less, which is completely unfortunate. We got everything that was promised. Thank you for an amazing experience Anthony M.

Yelp
We went here to celebrate a wedding anniversary . I tried the CHOPPED STEAK Ground beef, charbroiled, roasted garlic whipped potatoes, mushroom bordelaise sauce, crispy onion straws. Too many crispy onions but the meal was excellent, The wife ordered the PETITE TWIN FILET MIGNON 3OZ EACH with Roasted garlic whipped potatoes, béarnaise sauce and crispy onion straws. It seems the bearnaise sauce does not go with steak. She ordered the zip sauce which was too watered down. Her steak lacked seasoning as well. The onion soup was very good but too many croutons in it We spilt the flaming butter cake which was just "OK". Service was great by Jessica. The complimentary deconstructed Crab Ragu was a nice touch to get the taste buds going. Bread basket with two flavors of butter was exceptional. Bloody Mary's with Tito were top notch. I just don't know why when we got there at 5:00 pm we had to wait several minutes. For the female maitre ( who took off and disappeared) to sit us two all the at back behind the bar when the place was 85% empty.

Yelp
Starting off the ambiance was great. We were seated near the wine cellars and they had made a birthday card for my sister. The lobster bisque was a little salty but not bad. The bread was good but the butter was too salty. The appetizers -the calamari I was not impressed. And the duroc bacon : it was pretty good. Both appetizers were sweet tasting so it felt like too much sweet food going on . My main course was okay . I didn't know it came with crispy onions . My steak tasted pretty dry for medium well. But I will say that the server told me about butterflying the steak which I declined to do hence why it turned out dryer. The server provided great service. Just not my favorite steakhouse. I went to a steakhouse in Toronto called blue blood (located in casa loma) over the summer. If you can make that drive , do it if you're a steak enthusiast. 3.5 star for this place

Yelp
Seriously, where is the dress code for this exquisite and expensive restaurant? The staff wear tirs and the managers wear suit and tie, but your patrons come in there in their oldest baggy, sweatpants a hoodie, and their hat on backwards like they just came from cleaning the garage, perhaps they did, but you should establish a dress code to raise the bar. (see if the caucus club in Detroit dress code online it works perfectly) The "come as you are" dress code has got to stop, especially at such a nice restaurant. Then after they show up looking like day laborers, they complain about the food and want stuff off their bill sitting right next to me, they were super embarrassing to themselves. I feel like I wrote a similar review of the last time I came in there.

Great quality steak and really cool ambiance. Service was good. The location at six and Haggerty is also very easy to spot and convenient

Yelp
Terrific place for a great meal and drinks. Very nice atmosphere and terrific service. It is pricy however.

Yelp
Went here for our company team dinner and was disappointed in the food. The server was gracious but the food came out cold or like warm. We had a party of 15 and I was surprised at how long the food took to come out

Yelp
We've come in for Hyde Park's Early Nights Menu. If you come in before 6:00 pm you can get a two course meal for $37.95. I got Lobster Bisque and Petite Twin Filets, and my husband got a Wedge Salad and a Crab Cake. I really liked the lobster bisque. It's got a creamy consistency and had a nice amount of lobster in it. I was also very happy with the twin filets. It was cooked perfectly, and came with a really delicious béarnaise sauce. I would definitely order this again. I tried my husband's crab cakes, and didn't care for it, thinking the crab tasted fishy.

Yelp
Call me a snob but I have exceptionally high standards for prime steakhouses traveling for work and living in CA, a hotbed for top restaurants and service. I was DELIGHTED with the food, service, ambience, all of it. Deep wine list, lots of great CA offerings, fantastic cut of meat cooked exactly to my specification. Perfect sauté on the spinach and mushrooms accoutrement with just the right amount of EVOO and garlic. And the espresso martini truly lived up to the name "best espresso martini". Traveling solo, I sat at the bar and was served by Stephanie. She was just delightful, especially attentive and a pleasure. The couple next to me enjoyed a burger and said anytime they are in MI will make the effort to come here because it's just top notch. Do yourself a favor if you're within an hour's drive of this establishment and get your meat sweats on.

Yelp
This dish is delicious! It's huge, big enough to be an entree. It's a little bit too much. Cut back on the sauce. Skinny up the cheese and veg. It would be perfect.

Yelp
Atmosphere fantastic. Staff fantastic. Food was not great. I may give it a second chance.

Yelp
The FOOD, the service, the ambiance, perfection! Romantic, the food is top-notch. Great selection of wines. The carpaccio was the best I ever had, the filet melted in my mouth. By far, one of my favorite restaurants.

Yelp
Yep, we were back to dine again. Ribeyes, Filet, and Salmon. All were delicious, however, one Ribeye could have probable not been served as it came with a significant amount of waist but still a stellar product! Filet melted in my mouth a perfect med-rare! Great blue cheese dressing! We will return! Probably the best grade meat we have consistently received post covid!!! Here it is May and we are back for my son's birthday. The Calamari and Bacon are probably our favorite appetizers we have out of any restaurant. Even though the Calamari is tossed and a very delicious sweet chili sauce it is not hot and the calamari maintains it's crunch. We ordered the Ribeyes, 12oz Filet and the Halibut with citrus glaze. Halibut was delish. Perfect texture and moist,so enjoyable. Steaks were perfectly cooked. The flavor from the char is really amazing. The Ribeye were tender and juicy. Still on the fence as to whether this is choice cuts, however, seasoning and cook are spot on. The Filet, a generous cut melted in your mouth. I will not remove stars here because we all have different preferences: the zip sauce and Bearnaise are not my fav. The Zip is more like a brown gravy. Their Béarnaise somewhat tart for me. The au gratin potatoes could have cooked longer but the cheese sauce was very nice. Brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection and very good! Spinach au gratin did not disappoint.Thick and creamy with a nice crunchy melted cheese topping. The corn, oh my amazing. Sweet off the cob crisp flavors!!! The flourless chocolate cake and bourbon pecan pie (special) were delish. Birthday deconstructed s'mores were good. Staff was attentive and professional. Restaurant proper was clean and nicely decorated. All and all, definitely worth a return visit!! My partner says they make great crafted cocktails:Old Fashioned was amazing!

Yelp
Was in town for work and grabbed a high top in the bar area for dinner - was hoping for a small table in the corner but none were available. Reservations recommended! The service was decent and the steak (I ordered the ribeye) was marbled and cooked to perfection. The only downside here is that they don't have single portions for sides to order. A downside when you travel alone for work!

Yelp
Good was pretty average and pricey for what it cost is. Basically a Ruth Chris environment and service. Ordered med rare received rare. Sent back and was corrected. Eric V. Was our server Not very engaging or friendly, clearly doesn't enjoy his job and lacks ability to connect with customers. Food runners basically threw the food at the table and ran away. Drink refills are few and far between. I wouldn't return.

Tracey W.

Yelp
Dined here yesterday for my son's birthday. Filet and lobster tail were beyond. My son is obsessed with the baked onion soup. The Wagyu beef carpaccio was spectacular. Service was impeccable as always. My son loved it so much last year so he asked to return and it was even better than he remembered. The dining music was pleasant as well. All in all a wonderful dining experience from the moment we entered the doors until we left.

Yelp
Our evening was to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. (Late) actually was in May, but better late then never. Our food was very good. I had the 6oz. Filet mignon, cooked to order and my hubby had the Casey steak, he enjoyed very much also cooked perfectly. I will recommend the double chopped salad, perfect to share. My Brussel sprouts with bacon marmalade were a bit extra charred but tasty non the less. Hubby recommends the garlic mashed potatoes he said, whipped to perfection! I also enjoyed a drink "the Bees Knee's very good. No room for dessert:( perhaps next time I'll skip the side to save room. Also huge shout out to our server, Kelli she was so polite and very nice to talk with and her service was excellent.

Kelly M.

Yelp
We had an amazing anniversary dinner at Hyde park. The service was excellent. We had a complimentary dessert. Everything was excellent and large portions. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
Very good food, great atmosphere! Whether you're looking for a casual dinner or a special occasion, I highly recommend.

Yazen A.

Yelp
Food was sub par Had a great exceptional waiter i believe his name was aaron but did not appreciate a few waitresses having a back and forth convo several feet apart from each other right next to our table, almost like we weren't there. This took place twice for a few minutes and i found myself waiting for them to stop before i could resume conversation

Yelp
Wonderful anniversary dinner at Hyde Park. We got the early menu, which has some specials, and chose fillet & lobster, and it was wonderful. The lobster bisque soup was absolutely incredible. The crab cake was also so impressive, with perfect seasoning and very little binder. We were treated so well and had lots of check ons. The s'more dessert was a celebration gift, and it was very yummy. The marshmallow was a bit sweet but the ganache was spot on perfect. I'd definitely go back. It's easy to drop a lot of coin here, but the food was first-rate. All the sides are à la carte, but are good sized. For a more casual meal, their burgers looked good in the pics. I'd love to get one by the bar or on the nice little patio area outside. This is the perfect place for a special celebration meal you'll remember.

Yelp
Went to Hyde Park for our anniversary because we heard great things and were very happy with our choice. The food was fantastic but more importantly the service was the best I've had in a long time! Our table was ready when we arrived and they had a card waiting for us for our anniversary which was a nice touch. Everyone was very friendly from the wait staff to the general manager. As far as the food; we had crispy calamari for appetizer and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the Chilean sea bass which is one of my favorites but I chose to have steak at a steak place. The sea bass was the better choice only because the filet I chose had too much going on and it had buried the flavor of the filet in the sauce. It was too heavy of a burgundy sauce and couldn't taste the meat. Other than that it was cooked perfectly and was still decent. Sides were awesome and they gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. All in all it was a great evening and will definitely try again. Hopefully they will have that sea bass on special again!

Yelp
We have been here twice since it opened and have had stellar service and experience both times! We also visited the location during the pandemic and were pleased with the food and quality of the takeout! Perfect for anniversary or pricey birthday dinners!
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
Just had one of the worst cooked steaks here, very disappointing. I ordered the filet medium, it came out dry and deeply charred on the outside and rare in the middle. For the price and cut of the steak it was really disappointing. Mashed potatoes were good and the croutons on the Caesar salad were bomb!
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
Looking for something special? It's Hyde Park. Is it cheap? Oh no. It's pricey. And everything you're served is spectacular. The service is exceptional. Even the bathrooms are special. Lobster Bisque to die for. Wagyu Carpaccio was beyond amazing. Horseradish-y, lovely, spicy... stupendous. Order a steak. ANY steak. and you'll be blown away. You can get A-5 Waygu here... where else can you do that? It's expensive. It's special. It's a celebration. At the end of the day... set you expectation: it's going to be pricey. The food is going to be amazing. The service is going to be phenomenal.

Yelp
The perfect date night for steak night. Hyde Park is one of ym favorites and they always have Australian Beef and Creekstone Farms options for their meat so depending on how halal you want to be the steak itself in many cases is halal. We've had anniversaries, date nights, and birthdays all here. I absolutely love it!

Yelp
Dinner was on par w/ the price tag. Our server, Ethan, was one of a kind and certainly qualified to represent HP. The hostage sat us at a prime C-booth, which overlooked the entire restaurant. A+

Yelp
I'm a little late on this review but wanted to share my experience on Valentine's Day 2024. My and my girlfriend have to Hyde Park before and it was truly a great experience. This time around was completely different. Our server this time was very dry and seemed to not care about serving our table. Not much attention was given to our table but all the tables around us were very well taken care of. He was not very helpful with menu recommendations and we consistently had to ask to have plates removed. The food this time around was not to the level of our first experience. The photos on this review are from the first experience. Service was not okay for the type of restaurant Hyde Park is and food was definitely not up to par either. Taking a break from Hyde park and not sure if I would go back.

Averianna R.

Yelp
I love this steakhouse. The food and ambience are phenomenal. The crab cakes and au gratin potato's are to die for! They also have an early dinner menu which is a steal price wise and includes soup. I opted for the lobster bisque. Servers are always prompt and attentive & the lemon drops are definitely strong.

Yelp
So I've been here before but didn't review it , we came for my husband's birthday a out 5 months ago and I remember the staff had a signed bday card for him, and i believe he got the flourless cake for dessert. We enjoyed it overall, which is why we came back! I was able to make reservations the same day, which was convenient for a Friday night at 8:30 pm , 4 of us. The spot we were seated was not the best bc it was directly under the AC. I was able to flag down the manager and asked if it could be turned down he was very accommodating and immediately obliged. We ordered apps : shrimp cocktails . The guys ate those and said they were great. Came out on dry ice smoking, good sign of a nice restaurant . I ordered the chopped salad and the double cut Lamb chops. My salad was excellent. I regret not taking a picture, but it was massively georgous, and I ate the whole thing Bread came out before the salads, but after the apps, everyone enjoyed except me bc im keto. It had pretzel bread and another type of roll. Butter had salt and pepper on it. My hubby almost made me cheat on my diet bc he kept talking about how good the pretzels were, and I was starving! Overall, great service and excellent food. Everyone was happy. Will be back !

Lindsay K.

Yelp
I gave one star because ZERO wasn't a option! This was my first and definitely last time ordering food from here, I wanted a good meal so I thought I would give it a try because it had to be decent and probably had good quality control with the high prices but I was WRONG I ordered a burger medium and it was beyond well done and worst of all they actually decided to give the burnt bun to their customer and then added the barely there cold and old fries. This food had to pass a cook not a chef and either a expo person or someone handling the carry out so this is unacceptable that this passed quality control

Yelp
Seabass looks good. The entry is covered with a black awning entrance to protect you from the elements. Jameson is waiting on us tonight. We sat in the bar area in a booth. Would not have been my first pick. They do at least have plexiglass dividers between the booths. We asked for a bit more time to figure out our Lenten permitted meal and it seems like our waiter is MIA. The female bartender ended up taking our order, our waiter / bartender was busy making cocktails. They are a tag team covering the bar area tonight. Our Pellegrino water is in a red wine glass, that's a first. We ordered the salmon Caesar, less the Caesar dressing and croutons, Chilean seabass, sautéed mushrooms, spinach and garlic and double chopped salad, less pancetta, vinaigrette design instead, less cheddar and less crispy onions. The double chopped salad was split into two plates for us. The balsamic dressing is yummy, nice tartness to it. The julienned English cucumbers and celery are fun to eat. The hardboiled egg and celery is a nice addition to the usual chopped salad. The salmon Caesar had the Caesar dressing on it already. Had to get it replated with balsamic dressing. The spinach is extremely salty, salt lick salty, even. My Brazilian friends would love it. We asked them to make it without salt if needed. The blackened salmon is nicely cooked. The Chilean seabass is pretty good, it's well cooked, not as buttery as I would have liked. The skin is left on the seabass, looks like it would be great for healing wounds for diabetics and skin grafts for burn victims. I just looked it up and the only FDA approved fish on the market in the USA for healing wounds is the Icelandic cod. The second spinach is good, nice slivers of garlic and no salt or barely any, if at all. It's so much better for sure. The mushrooms are so lovely and absolutely fantastic. I wanted more. The Cremini mushrooms are cooked perfectly. The olive oil and seasoning is so yummy. Food was all good. Had a few fix-ups with the salmon Caesar and the spinach, but the meal overall was decent. Service was also okay. Not ideal to sit in the dining area of a bar section, since service can be hit or miss. If you sit in the bar, sit at the bar. If you sit in the dining room, sit away from the bar and in the main dining room.

Yelp
Came in for their Northville Early Nights menu for a friend's birthday. Outdoor and indoor dining. Pleasantly surprised. Great food and ambience! Highly recommend the chicken Milanese and HP wedge salad. https://hydeparkrestaurants.com/maps/hp-northville/enmenu.html

Yelp
Higher price point than some, average for upscale in the area. I was there for Mother's Day and i will say the service was pretty good. Jackie was hustling table to table and keeping up with the multiple competing demands. The manager, Louis, came by after we had an issue with our table and was nice. The table was rocking while I was trying to eat my salad and my MIL her soup. They fixed it pretty quickly, which was good. She said the lobster bisque was great with actual lobster chunks! My wedge salad was pretty good, except for the dressing! Most places have an Italian-style dressing but HP does not. They had a balsamic that was olive-oily and sweet. Not a fan. Tried their basil dressing and while I like pesto, it was not a taste I wanted on my salad. So, I tried to make do with the balsamic. Meh. On to the main: filet! Well- not burnt- and very tender, so cooked very well. But that's where the compliments end. No seasoning! I needed steak sauce to impart flavor and I am not used to that. Even Out-yonder seasons their steaks. I get letting the meat shine but when you pay a pretty penny, you expect a modicum of salt, pepper, something. Maybe I ordered it wrong? There were a variety of addable sauces, but I usually like my meat seasoned and cooked well. No need to cover it in sauces or anything for me. I don't know if this is the norm for them or not. Last time I had a burger and it was excellent; seasoned well and cooked to my specifications. My MIL enjoyed her lamb chops; I enjoyed my side of corn- was so freaking good! The sides are large enough to share and pricing is al a carte for most items. The restaurant is nicely decorated with white tablecloths and linen napkins. Definitely upscale when a burger and fries and an entree with two sides is over $110. Parties of 5 or more are charged 20% gratuity - FYI.

Yelp
I would give them an extra star if possible. Everything was perfect. We were seated as soon as we walked in, greeted by our server, drinks and appetizers arrived quickly. Entrees and sides were spot on. Entree: Porter House, Sea bass Sides: potatoes gruyère gratin, spinach and mushrooms App: crab cake Drinks: cocktails

Yelp
Came here for an anniversary dinner. The ambience at this location is much more beautiful than the one in Birmingham Michigan. Server was very friendly. The bacon and crabcake were amazing for appetizers. You need to order this bacon, it is unlike any I have ever had. The crabcake was full of crab, exactly how it should be. The fillet was a little bit off. We had a 12 ounce and an 8 ounce fillet at our table, and the quality between the two were drastically different. The 12 ounce was a much better cut of meat, but the 8 ounce didn't even have the same texture of a good quality fillet. I also ordered the 8 ounce with roasted garlic and mushrooms, and only got a singular one roasted garlic with an overflowing amount of mushrooms. It was a rip off for six extra dollars. However, they redeemed themselves with the dessert. You need to get the colossal red velvet cake. When I say this probably weighs 5 pounds, I am not kidding. The cake is actually moist, and the cream cheese frosting is unbelievable. It is even served with a pourable fudge which is amazing. The carrot cake is dry and I don't like that it has nuts in it. Just order the red velvet cake. The butter cake dessert was also good, but the cake is big enough to feed five people, so just stick with that.

Yelp
In three words: delicious, flavorful, expensive. In more words: excellent service, quality menu choices, great flavors. We loved the filets with mushroom and garlic. The lobster Mac n cheese was delicious. The croutons on the salad were warm with a soft inside. Yum! And the birthday card at the table and the chocolate dessert at the end a great touch. Unfortunately, because the restaurant is pretty dark, my pictures don't do any of this justice. But take my word for it, as long as you don't mind spending money, such as a special occasion, you'll really enjoy the food and service.

Yelp
First time to try Hyde Park. We started with the wagyu carpaccio on our server's recommendation. It was good, but not really memorable and actually a pretty small portion to share for four people. I probably would not order it again. Cocktails were kind of over priced in our opinion $16 for Buffalo Trace (typically $3-4 cheaper other places), even for fine dining. Service was generally OK except when bread was offered and we accepted they only brought one roll and one breadstick for two people to share - kind of weak. The other two of us were not planning to have bread, but come on. Wedge salads were pretty good, but pretty average with noticeably not much bacon. All three steaks were very good. I think the classic 12 ounce fillet was the best, but others really enjoyed their New York strip with mushrooms and the cab sauced steak. The sautéed spinach and brussels sprouts were both exceptional sides. Perfectly cooked and delicious. For dessert we shared the extremely large slice of carrot cake. It was good, but carrot cake is one of my favorites and I have had much better other places.

Yelp
It's too pricy for frequent visits but it's always excellent and has remained so in recent years. The filet with the garlic and mushrooms added is nothing short of terrific. Highly recommended.

Yelp
They treat every table like they're royalty (or maybe it's just us?). Make a reservation...let them set it up for you. But you have to do your part...drinks, maybe an app, definitely meats and fun sides. This is NOT the place to skimp. Their food and drinks are worth it! The interior is gorgeous. Dark and elegant, comfortable. The lighting (and fixtures) is perfect. My latest yelp pic is from there! We've tried a majority of their drinks, and they're all unique. Try the smoked Old Fashioned. Or a glass of wine from their extensive list. Check out their rare bourbon and whiskey list, if for no other reason than to goggle at the prices. Their French Onion Soup is perfection. The Steak Tartare blew our minds. Ken gets their Lobster Bisque every time. Bread basket includes a variety, and the butter is next level with seasonings included. Ok...the steaks. We've tried quite a few, from the "basic" section, which are better than most surrounding steak places, all the way to (splitting) their priciest. Every one has been a melt in your mouth flavor bomb. We're medium rare people, and they cook it spot on. They have a variety of sauce add-ons- not needed but delicious just the same. Each steak comes with a pile of fried onion strings, but otherwise sides are a la carte. And huge. Definitely shareable. I recommend 1 for a couple, 2 for 3 or more guests to split. Good luck narrowing down your selection! We've tried their creamed spinach, corn, mashed and gratined potatoes, mac 'n cheese, etc. All have been worthy of a repeat order. They have good food and drink Happy Hour specials (may be "in the bar" specific). Valet Parking is available, but they have a dedicated parking lot too. This is my current favorite local fancy place.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience at Hyde Park and will definitely be back. The food and service were excellent and well worth the cost.

Yelp
First visit...no plan to return. Waste of time and money...mediocre at best. Strip steak not very tender. Asparagus was tough. Complimentary dessert was cloyingly sweet -- one teaspoon was enough. No offer made to serve coffee or tea.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic steak with perfectly cooked mushrooms on top. Service was great and attentive even though they were quite busy. Overall this definitely be a return stop whenever I am in town.

Yelp
This is my husband and I's favorite restaurant in the area. Great food and service every time we have gone. My husband gets a steak and I have gotten a salad with the lobster mac or salmon. All delicious! Always a go to for birthdays and anniversaries:)
