Hydromel Charlevoix

Absolutely loved our visit to Hydromel Charlevoix! The honey wines are incredibly tasty, smooth, and so unique, perfect for any occasion. You can really taste the craftsmanship in every bottle. The two ladies working there were so warm, passionate, and knowledgeable, their enthusiasm was contagious! They offered amazing service and helped us discover our new favorites. We ended up leaving with three cases of wine, and honestly, I wish we bought more. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, it’s a hidden gem worth discovering!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful tour and tasting during our visit. The wines and spirits were all unique and we enjoyed learning about the bees, the honey, and the process by which the wine and spirits are made. Merci beaucoup! We 10/10 recommend and will return one day when we re-visit the area again.

Nice visit very well performed tour. Learning about the whole process of how you guys make your alcohol ecologically as well was interesting. Friendly staff, fine wine and great ambiance sums it up best. Thank you guys!

We were looking for something to do in a Sunday afternoon, this was perfect! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, we did both the wine and spirits tasting and enjoyed both. Ended up buying some wine and honeys!

Simply amazing little place! We went in for a tasting of the honey wine- they had a few varieties to try and all of them had their own unique taste and they were all so very delicious! Went home with a couple bottle of course! They even have spirits- which the gin is superb… not your average gin- this is a sipper gin- nice and floral! The own Lisez was also amazing. Very informative of their process in creating these honey fermented wines and where ingredients came from. We got to see the facility too. Our whole visit to this little facility was just great and I highly recommend stopping in for a tasting when in this beautiful little town!

A must-visit spot when you’re in Baie-Saint-Paul, Charlevoix! They offer awesome and unique honey-based products that are truly a treat. Mark, the owner, welcomes you with passion and great knowledge about everything he makes. We really enjoyed the wine and spirits tasting flight, and ended up picking up some bottles along with a delicious honey spread—we can’t wait to enjoy them at home! Thanks Mark for the warm and friendly welcome. Will definitely visit your shop again!

This was a lovely discovery on our trip to Baie St Paul. We were greeted with enthusiasm and passion for Hydromel's product. We tried both the wine and spirit flights and loved the experience. We went home with their Absinthe spirit freshly made that day. A must visit.
