Hydromel Charlevoix

The wine is a different taste. Not to our taste but some might enjoy it. It had an odd taste that we didn't like much. The wines were pretty dry. The red wine was the better one of the bunch that wasn't as dry. It was $15 the try four types of wine.

Absolutely loved our visit to Hydromel Charlevoix! The honey wines are incredibly tasty, smooth, and so unique, perfect for any occasion. You can really taste the craftsmanship in every bottle. The two ladies working there were so warm, passionate, and knowledgeable, their enthusiasm was contagious! They offered amazing service and helped us discover our new favorites. We ended up leaving with three cases of wine, and honestly, I wish we bought more. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, it’s a hidden gem worth discovering!

We had the best experience here at hydromel winery . Our server Marc was so fun and delightful! Treated us like family. Super nice . Kept are glasses full ! A very good experience.Thank you so much Marc! I recommend this place if you love wine and good treatment.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful tour and tasting during our visit. The wines and spirits were all unique and we enjoyed learning about the bees, the honey, and the process by which the wine and spirits are made. Merci beaucoup! We 10/10 recommend and will return one day when we re-visit the area again.

Nice visit very well performed tour. Learning about the whole process of how you guys make your alcohol ecologically as well was interesting. Friendly staff, fine wine and great ambiance sums it up best. Thank you guys!

Simply amazing little place! We went in for a tasting of the honey wine- they had a few varieties to try and all of them had their own unique taste and they were all so very delicious! Went home with a couple bottle of course! They even have spirits- which the gin is superb… not your average gin- this is a sipper gin- nice and floral! The own Lisez was also amazing. Very informative of their process in creating these honey fermented wines and where ingredients came from. We got to see the facility too. Our whole visit to this little facility was just great and I highly recommend stopping in for a tasting when in this beautiful little town!

We were looking for something to do in a Sunday afternoon, this was perfect! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, we did both the wine and spirits tasting and enjoyed both. Ended up buying some wine and honeys!

Sometimes the unexpected brings with it unexpected pleasures - as was a visit to this place. With a focus on honey based wines and spirits, this was something new, tasty and definitely worth a visit. Try the sampling menu. Pick up a bottle or two of some locally made wine and spirits!

A local distillery. We tasted gin, absinthe, symbiose, vodka and 4 meads. All were superior quality, and far superior to tastings in the USA. The absinthe was my favorite. Service and explanation from Toby was very informative and passionate. We sat outside - the perfect place to be. $15 for the mead tastings and $12 for the spirits. Now we need nourriture. Excellent place!
