I have always used Hygga’s services and have always found dentists, hygienists, and secretaries to be kind and competent. In particular, I want to mention Dr. Lauri Hervonen, he is amazing! He extracted all my wisdom teeth (two of them required surgery), and in both cases, he was very skilled, kind and quick. I felt no pain, and the recovery was smooth.

One of the most attentive dentist (dr. Afrasiabi) I have ever had. The checkup was done in with care for details. She suggested me the best schedule for my checkups looking at my interests. THE GOOD Attentive Central location Big facility Easy to reschedule THE BAD The marker on Google maps is not correct, the entrance is at the center of the building, not at the side. BOTTOM LINE I would for sure go back!

I had a dental appointment with Dr.David , and I just wanted to say how impressed I was with his professionalism and attitude. He was calm, respectful, and made me feel comfortable throughout the treatment. His assistant was also very kind and efficient, which made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. Although I’ll need some time to evaluate the long-term results of the fillings, I already feel confident that the work was done with care and precision. Thank you for the great service!

It was fine. Not great, not bad. I would say the experience, quality of the facilities, and level of care are about the same as the public healthcare dentist. It’s worth it if you need something done and can’t wait months for public and/or prefer the convenience.

Hygga is a solid dentist in central Helsinki. Good service, but prices can be steep. Overall, not a bad option if you're in need of dental care.

I was cheated here. Three different people (doctor, receptionist, check up doctor) told me that the periodic checkup (did it for the first time) would cost 40€. No one mentioned that x-rays cost extra. When I was told (afterwards) that I have to pay 120€, I was shocked. They lowered it to 84€, but it’s not 40€ which I was expecting and was told from the very beginning. I don’t have done the checkup at all if I knew it cost that much. No one ever mentioned that x-rays are not included prior to the moment x-rays were already done and I was standing in the front desk ready to pay.

THE WORST!! Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. My wife endured over three hours of unnecessary pain and suffering due to the incompetence and lack of expertise of the doctors who failed to extract a simple wisdom tooth. The procedure was mishandled from the start, and in the middle of the surgery, they switched doctors. Thankfully, the second doctor was a true professional who managed to complete the procedure and finally end my wife’s suffering. We have filed a formal complaint in court, as it's clear they did not have a qualified professional handling the surgery. This was absolutely the worst medical experience we’ve ever had. I would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone.

I had an implant with Dr Martti Ouotila and was incredibly afraid,as it was the first time I ever had an implant and was expecting alot of pain. I asked for extra anaesthetic and I really didn't feel any pain during and after the operation! It all went surprisingly smooth, professional and painless. Huge thanks to Dr. Outila and the lovely nurses, who helped me feel relaxed and always informed me what was going to happen. They perscribed me antibiotics and painkillers for after care and i havent felt pain at any point. I am now not afraid of the procedure and warmly recommend them! Thank you!

I was given an appointment time for the dentist 26th Nov 2020, and when I arrived (on time) my appointment was checked and verified, and I was asked to sit down and wait to be called upon. I waited for 90 minutes, but no one called me. When I went back to the reception desk and asked about my appointment, I suddenly was told that the time is on the next day, tomorrow (even though I showed a SMS they had sent me, saying differently, i.e. that it was in fact today - but that didn't help - I was told to get back the next day). When I came back the next day, the same thing happened again - no dentist for me, and I was again asked to come back the next day. I made it clear this is not acceptable, please, cancel everything, and obviously I'm never returning to this "service". The worst I've ever got.

This is like the fast-food of dentistry. PROS: You can make an appointment online for which time slot you prefer (which is just below 20 euros to make and is cheaper than calling them to do it). You will get a confirmation 1/2 hour before the appointment time via SMS to confirm it too (a nice friendly reminder, which I like). You can usually be seen within 24 hours and will be typically in and out within an hour so if you are just swinging by during your lunch hour, you will make it back to work on time. The place itself is EXTREMELY easy to get to. Conveniently located next to Kamppi. The people are extremely efficient and friendly. The place itself feels very sterile and clean (which is reeeeally important for any medical area). Very cheap - especially if you have the Kela card. The list of prices is on their website though so very easy to see what you'll be paying. CONS: I got an infected tooth and the wisdom tooth next to it removed. I was given no care instructions or painkillers even though my head was pounding and I felt like I'd been shot in the face. The wisdom tooth hole got infected within 24 hours and I got feverish, chilly and nauseous. Thankfully, my aunt is a doctor and was able to get me a prescription for antibiotics and painkillers. However, since I hadn't been to the dentist in a while, I didn't know it could be serious and the dentist there really should have forewarned me, especially since it appears to be pretty typical for wisdom teeth to get infected and it could cause serious harm if left untreated and if infection gets into blood stream. Again, I WILL come back just because of the prices and quick service. I do think some more care could be put into the patients though. It seems like their focus is getting the patients in and out as fast as they can.
