Hysen's Nizza Pizza deserves every bit of praise. I came in hungry and left impressed. I ordered the linguine al pesto and a slice of the deep dish The Works. Both were packed with flavor and cooked right. The pasta was fresh and the deep dish slice was loaded without being greasy. The staff really made the experience great. They were friendly, quick and treated everyone walking in like regulars. You can tell this place takes pride in what they do and why they have an award on the wall. If you want solid food and service that actually feels genuine, this place is worth the stop. Good vibes!

Nice dinner with the family. The wait staff offered complimentary garlic knots for the table. We loved the mozzarella sticks. Ordered an extra large pepperoni and an extra large margarita pizza. So much pizza we brought a bunch home. I asked for marinara on the side and they brought me a whole bowl! Their sauce is great. Ingredients are fresh. We will go back!

Okay you want great Italian food without the red fancy table cloths? This is the place. I had the chicken Murphy- delicious! The rolls are over the top fresh & delicious. Very friendly staff! Run don’t walk. You won’t be disappointed.

Great pizza and several different styles. The calamari and garlic bread are also very good.

Always delicious! My son split a drink on accident and they were so nice. Cleaned up the mess and even offered me new pizza. Love this place. 100% recommend and we will for sure be back!

Pizza is very good ,cakes too cheese cake yummie only thing on cheesecake wish the serving size fit the price 😋 😂but it is delicious I like they pizza cause it loaded with ingredients onions bell peppers mushrooms olives 🫒 😋 meat lover's the best the crust is very good I like that it not too thick and doughy just right size make it easier to chew and enjoy I give them ten star if I could i can say this much it's tough decision between Little Ceasars, Mama Pizza, they all on that high level chart 😋 but I keep going to Nizza something about they crust just can't stay away from sooo good I like that you will get full you do get ingredients in every bite it's not just whole lots of dough no ingredients....this one is Pepper roni pizza olive, onions,bell peppers,mushrooms, cheese oh this place has a drive threw window 😀

Chill little pizza spot with really great service—everyone was super friendly. I had a cheese slice and a meat lover slice, and both hit the spot. Pretty filling too, didn’t expect that. Just a solid, no-frills place to relax and enjoy some good pizza.

Came in pretty late employee's were still top notched gave great service! Super sweet to my daughter who was having a rough night my family left very happy & pleased with the food & service! It was also nice that they did not hold back on speaking spanish to us as my mom is spanish speaking only it was nice that she could communicate with the waitress that rarely happens & it made her feel included! We'll for sure be back on family night!

Picked up from well-known Fort Worth restaurant Hysen's Nizza Pizza and was not disappointed. Tried Tossed Salad - it's the house side salad, very good price, simple yet tasty, House Dressing is great! The Works pizza is the "everything / supreme" option. Medium-sized pizza will feed 3 (or 2 who are hungry). Crust is a bit thicker than traditional NY-style but still great. So much seating inside, which you don't expect from the outside. Staff is SO nice!!! Restaurant is immaculately clean. Definitely recommend.

Usually eat here in the evenings, but yesterday I ate lunch after a meeting with my men's group. Typically there are servers to seat us and take our orders; however, this time we had to order from the counter. No big deal! For being the lunch hour, I was surprised the place wasn't busier. (Especially considering how good the food is.) I ordered a pepperoni calzone and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The calzone was still delicious but not as good as I remembered it. Overall, the three of us had a great time of fellowship over a great meal. The restaurant seemed clean and well-maintained. Service at the counter was quick and efficient. I will definitely come back again soon. Please try Hysen's Nizza Pizza.

Ordered the Xl special and paid for extra pepperoni all over and crumble sausage on half. What I got was extra pepperoni on one side and the other was just sausage. Usually 5 stars but I guess someone didn't or want to listen.

This place deserves a second chance , the first one wasn't great I ordered a cheese deep dish through their website , and was very surprised to find a classic NY style showing up - apparently if you order via their website it omits the deep dish and just leaves the classic cheese :( The pizza came in very late , the driver actually blamed me for providing the wrong address (I showed the email confirmation that showed that I keyed in the right address ...).also, the pizza inside the box was a mess - half of it got upside down The pizza itself was ok 3/5 I would like to try their deep dish one day in the future , don't think I will order it though . Probably will just go there

Amazing Pizza!! We got the lasagna pizza and it was delicious. The service was good too, the daughter of the owner was super sweet. We did take out but waited for our pizza. The restaurant was very clean and cozy. If we lived closer we'd go back at least once a week. I know that my husband would make the 4 hour drive if he got a craving for their lasagna pizza. Go check it out!!!

We wanted Italian, and found this place. First they bring the most awesome bread and sauce to the table. We then ordered some calamari, and they share they have a sweet and spicy, it was the best calamari we ever had. Every thing we had, pizza, pasta, and appetizers was awesome. The personal attention by the server made us feel like we were her most important customers this week. This place is everything you would want in a pizza or Italian place, food service and experience. Thank you so much...

Hysen's Nizza Pizza, EVERY SINGLE TIME DELIVERS THE DANK! It is delicious and hot every time. It's exactly what tames cravings. In short, it is, without a doubt; every time, the "business"!

I did not order anything as I was a guest with friends to show up. Their food looked great. I saw they handmade the pizza and walked out to you. I was amazed with the nice diversity of dishes but not over the top like some places. Great atmosphere, excellent employees, and great menu for all.

My favorite, favorite gluten free pizza. And Jon is always excited about their traditional pizza as well. We have likely ordered more pizza from here than I'm willing to admit. But it's so consistently delicious every time. The gluten free dough is not too thin and has great texture -- a good chew throughout and a fantastic crunch on the crust, and it is really well seasoned. Tastes buttery! And I like all the toppings, really. But I'll typically end up getting pepperoni, jalapeños, mushrooms, maybe onions or olives. I like all the veggies, and luckily Hysen's ingredients always seem to be top quality.

Pizza was delicious! I called in my order over the phone. My pepperoni pizza was hot-n-ready when I arrived. I wanted to try Serious Pizza but Nizza Pizza has never disappointed me so why go elsewhere. I do wish each slice had an equal amount of pepperoni. There was a bigger slice that could've had a few more slices.

Best pizza for the money in Fort Worth. Owner is nice and he is Italian. Great value.

this review is only for to go. before leaving my airbnb in the area, i wanted to check this place out and placed an order over the phone for two stuffed pizzas (meat lover and spinach), garlic knots and while clam sauce linguine. I don't think i've seen this else where. They stuff the pizza so that the cheese and toppings are trapped inside the crust. think of a calzone but in a pizza shape. when i got the food, i couldn't believe the portions. The stuffed pizzas were massive and i should've only got one. Two was way too much for me. i'm glad i asked for ranch sauce, cuz ranch and pizza is a match made in heaven. I enjoyed the stuffed pizza and believe they were definitely worth the price. The garlic knots were decent, nothing special about them, but they were tasty with the marinara sauce. As for the clam linguine, it was really good and wasn't too oily as other places. I believe if you eat there, they'll give you garlic knots for free. not 100% certain.

The pasta here is sooo good. I live in Dallas, but will drive here for this. My go to is chicken al vodka, but the chicken Murphy is also good

Still good food. Seems like the wait time for food is getting longer. Also be sure to wear a coat when dining in. The dining area is kept cold.

Great place. Great atmosphere and food! Great portion for the price. Fantastic pasta and pizza!!! Free garlic bread and refillable for the whole family. Salad was goooooood love the cheese and ham. Would go here again!

Rude. They think they are being NYC rude and that's some sort of cool schtick, but it's fucking dumbass. Calzone and stuffed pizza both were cold in the center. If I wanted microwave crap I would have gotten it from the grocery store, like these Mooly's did.

Very friendly service, large menu, good food. We like that they have pizza by the slice and calzone, so everyone gets what they want and it works out to be less expensive.

Wow, took them about 20 minutes for them to hand me a cold dried out piece of pizza. They are sitting there pre made heated up then sat and cooled down again. But I ordered fresh made, was definitely a peice that just sat around all day. And there's not a napkin to be found anywhere. But that's just how dry out It is, you don't even need a napkin.! Worst place ever!

Found a burnt dime in my daughter's Philly Cheesesteak. Cooks laughed and servers wanted to give us a free meal - NOPE. I paid for the food that was good but the dirty, burnt, dime coin in my daughter's sandwich I didn't pay for. When the server asked the cooks, they laughed and came out to talk to me. You could smell beer on them and one cook has blood shot eyes so who knows what he was doing back there cooking? I noticed there was a Modelo beer case on the food prep station so it's wonder what else they put into the food. I've reported this to the Consumer Health Dept and hope this never happens to another family. My daughter is crying and is very distressed. No management was on site only the cooks and the two servers who were bewildered as to why I was upset about a burnt COIN in my daughter's food.

The best NY style pie I have had in FTW. Ordered 2 pies; one double cheese and double Italian sausage and one supreme. Both were great. Better the next day for breakfast!!!!!!!! I will be back and will recommend to anyone who like NY Style pie.

First time eating here. Had great experience. The food was delicious. Loved the garlic bread and spaghetti. The food was hot and good portions. The restaurant was clean and customer service was awesome. Will definitely be back and bring grandkids with us. We live in Arlingron but was in Fort Worth.

Their pizzas are great and super affordable! If you eat inside they give you a free basket of garlic knots too. I love their stuffed spinach pizza. Super greasy, but it's pizza! Their regular pizza is awesome too, less greasy and gives a nice fold when you eat it. My picky eater teen loves it too, so it's a win-win in my book! 8/10 on the stuffed pizza for the amount of grease but soooo good you guys 10/10 on the regular style pizzas. Not exactly NYC slice, but great in its very own style. Staff are all great as well! Never had an issue :)

Fantastic NY style pizza! They definitely got it down and highly recommend! Prices are decent as well. Got an extra large pepperoni for $15.99 and was just a great pizza. Get ya some!

It's was so delicious! They chicken was well cooked in the Alfredo. The pizza was absolutely amazing and it's a pretty big slice. It was a bit greasy but that doesn't matter because the taste was amazing! Highly recommend it!

Great service from all staff members. Every time we stopped by wether for lunch or dinner the food has been spot on. Even my picky eater daughter has no complaints when we choose to come to Nizza Pizza. They also let you bring your own wine bottle, all you have to pay is a $2 cork fee. You will definitely leave full and happy after you eat at this location.

I ordered the meat lovers and added green pepper was disappointed there wasn't more beef on the pizza.

Love the idea of pizza by the slice!!! BUT this isn't a spot that I could recommend. The prices and menu was different from what's posted online. The salad dressing was horrible. The pizza isn't fresh. Pre made and warmed over and served which I'm guessing makes the bottom the pizza crust burned.

This is my husband's favorite pizza in Fort Worth. He is from NJ and very picky. I like it as well, even though I'm not a huge pizza fan. I know, don't come after me, but I am after the lasagna. We did have their chicken meatball sub and that was delicious. I mean I will still eat half a pizza. Especially with pepperoni and jalapenos. You won't be disappointed. It is nice having a go to pizza place.

Their website menu ordering had my order come out to $33 with a delivery fee so we chose to pickup. The total ended up being $36.....makes no sense. we ordered 6ct garlic knots and received 2 dry knots with one side piece of bread. Service was unprofessional and rude when I called with my concerns. The place feels like an old drive thru fast food restaurant. Pizza dough was dry and brittle. Chicken Al vodka was greasy, bland, and inedible. Never again.

If you want a classic good slice look no further. This place is a carbon copy of all the hole in the wall places in New Jersey and I say that with the highest honor. Def worth going to

I think this is the first time I've experienced a NY style pizza outside of Manhattan. I wasn't even hungry but after one I had to order another! We usually get the pesto ravioli which Is always a hit with our family along with the garlic knots (yummy) but today got the pizza and so glad I did. This will be my go to place for the ideal crispy thin crust pizza, not even sure that's intentional "thin" but it is slightly more than thin and more than amazing!!

Normally I love this place. This is the second time they've messed up my online order. I ordered a 2 liter Diet Coke, they sent a regular coke, the driver took it back and said they'd refund it. This was 45 min ago, just got a call from the store and they said they can't refund my item but they can put my name in the "credit board". I said I don't really order from y'all very often ( second time since they reopened) so basically they're taking my money b/c they "can't" refund it and they won't send a driver to pick up a 2 liter of soda that I've already paid for. And the manager kept calling me sweetie, never addressed me by name and never gave me his name. Kept saying the only thing he can do is put my name on the board for credit. Very unprofessional. Maybe y'all should get someone to build you a better website and use a better ordering plug in.

Hysen's for good Italian dishes and Pizza at Reasonable prices. Great place to eat-in or do take out.

11/10 so good and so affordable. A big slice of cheese pizza is only $2.50 and majority of their pastas are $10.

If you're looking for New York Style pizza in the city of Fort Worth, look no further than Hysen's Nizza Pizza! I got a 14 inch pepperoni and it was to die for. Seasoned to perfection with that great NY style crust. Garlic knots are also a great add on at a super cheap price. Price point is very favorable compared to other pizza places in the area, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Check them out next time you're craving NY style pizza! They also serve by the slice and have loaded pizzas as well.

This use to be a nice manner family that own this place. Don't know where the family went, but this place has gone down hill. Food is always cold when you pick it up.

Friendly service, convinent location and drive-thru window. Inside is very nice and open. Lots of space to sit and enjoy some food. TV's and air conditioning is included. Parking lot/ drive thru entrance is a bit awkward. I have been here twice now, the first time I called ahead for a medium cheese pizza , mozz sticks and garlic knots. In 15 min the food was ready and I was able to easily get it from the drive thru. Total was around 18$ Pizza was decent, but I wish they added more sauce. The mozz sticks were good, crispy and warm. The garlic knots were soft and had the right amount of garlicy flavor. Next time I came I went to lunch with a co-worker. I ordered a cheese calzone with extra tomatoes inside. We sat and waited for the food, felt like it took a bit longer but we were on lunch so it was okay. The calzone was very good, crispy on the outside, lots of cheese and tomatos inside. Cooked well, they actually took the time to make and not just fold up pizza like I have seen at other places. I think I prefer the calzone to the pizza, but I did like the apps and I will be back to try the other calzones. They had a wide variety of pizza and calzones on display. It was about $6.95 for it and a decent size. I had it for lunch and dinner.

This is a must try. You buy pizza by the slice or the whole pie. It is so good. The staff was friendly and quick.

Got a deep dish pepperoni pizza and I'm so sorry we didn't get a picture to capture the beauty that it was but we just had to dig in the moment we sat down. I'm a chatterbox but I didn't talk the whole time I was eating. I always needed the pizza to be in my MOUTH. Best pepperoni and sauce I have ever tasted. Edges were all crunchy and nice but the inner bread was soft. Well cooked.

A staple in the fort worth area! Just reopened after a massive renovation and food is just as amazing! Must try it out if you are into NY Style pizza or any Italian dish!
