This place absolutely lives up to the hype and then some. From the moment you walk in, you can tell I Dream of Weenie is doing something special. The vibe is playful, colorful, and full of personality without feeling gimmicky and it immediately sets the tone for a fun, laid back meal. Let’s talk food, because wow. The corn dog was a standout: perfectly crunchy on the outside while staying moist, fluffy, and tender on the inside. That balance is hard to get right, and they nailed it. You can tell it’s freshly made and thoughtfully executed, not just a novelty item. The Rebel Yelp Dog was another highlight. The spice level was spot on bold and flavorful without overwhelming the hot dog itself. Everything worked together beautifully, and the bun deserves special mention: soft, fluffy, and moist, but sturdy enough to hold all the toppings without falling apart. That detail alone puts this place above so many others. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, happy to answer questions and genuinely excited about the menu. It’s the kind of service that makes you feel comfortable lingering, not rushed out the door. You can tell they care about both the food and the experience. As for location: it’s easy to find and right where you expect it to be in East Nashville, which is great. Parking, however, is somewhat difficult, especially during busy times. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means just be prepared to circle a bit or walk a short distance. Totally worth the effort once you’re inside. One last tip: ask about the secret menu. Seriously. If you know, you know and if you don’t, they’re happy to let you in on it. All around, this is a must-visit spot in East Nashville. Creative food, great execution, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere make this an easy five stars. I’ll absolutely be back to try more of the menu.

Amazing little place. You at first don’t notice the location but once you take another look you can see the little charm it has with the hotdog van outside. The food here was amazing with different options for different people. The service was fast and easy just needing to wait for food. The atmosphere is amazing with the interior decorated with hotdogs and merch you can buy. If coming back to Nashville, will need to visit again.

The corn dog dough was unbelievably light and flavorful, nothing like the heavy versions I’ve had elsewhere. The Picnic in a Bun was the perfect mix of sweet and savory, with caramelized bacon, creamy coleslaw, and baked beans all coming together in one bite. The Mac and Cheese Weenie was pure comfort food bliss – cheesy, gooey, and perfectly paired with the snap of the hot dog. Every bite makes you want to try the next creation. Honestly, I wish I lived closer so I could make my way through the whole menu. This place is an absolute must-visit when in Nashville – you won’t regret it! 🌭✨

They helped us decide what to order and made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place that makes you smile as soon as you walk up. The setup is also super cute — it’s a little retro-looking food truck-style spot with outdoor seating that adds to the charm. It’s casual, fun, and full of personality. We intended on taking a food tour while in Nashville but time ran short. I noted this was one of the stops on the tour we were looking at, so when we wanted lunch one day we drove to the five points area. This neighborhood is well known for great food and the hot dogs didn't disappoint they were outstanding!! We sampled 3 different dogs they were generous in size and fairly priced. The staff was helpful and fast. Thanks again!!!

THE best hot dogs !!🌭 I got the chili dog (no mustard) a side of fries. My friend got the plain hotdog and Mac and cheese balls with the jalapeño ranch :) we ate EVERYTHING crumbs and all LOL.

Absolutely delicious! I'm already looking forward to my next visit. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the chili cheese dog was packed with flavor. We also ordered a delicious bratwurst packed with spicy toppings, highly recommend. But the standout? The fried mac and cheese balls—seriously unforgettable. I couldn't stop talking about them all night. The prices are super reasonable, and the portions will definitely leave you full and satisfied. The staff were incredibly friendly and really took the time to make sure you got the exact hot dog you were craving. I can't wait to recommend this spot to everyone I know!
