"A Florida-based chain specializing in customizable bowls of macaroni and cheese is diving into Denver. On Thursday, I Heart Mac & Cheese announced via a press release that it has reached an agreement with a franchisor that will bring three locations of the chain to the Denver area. Those restaurants will be located in downtown Denver, Stapleton, and Boulder with two of the locations set to open next year and a third in 2021. However, the press release did not specify which locations will open when. I Heart Mac & Cheese applies a Chipotle-style model of service to macaroni and cheese by letting customers choose a base (there’s traditional macaroni but also broccoli, cauliflower, quinoa, bread, and even tater tots) and then from various cheeses, proteins, vegetables, and sauces that are added to customize the bowl. After that, each bowl is cooked in an ov until the cheese is gooey and melted. In addition to the customizable bowls, the restaurants also offer grilled cheeses and specialty options, including a lobster and white truffle macaroni and cheese and The Cuban bowl, a mashup of mac and cheese and a Cuban sandwich containing pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles. Customers can also pair their bowl with tomato soup while those seeking even more calories can order fresh chocolate chip cookies and marshmallow treats for dessert. This place is the cutest place ever. Came here with my best friend and my daughter and I absolutely loved everything about it… Overall, the food was decent. I feel like they should provide a little more for the price We spent about $37. I felt was a little too much considering the bowls were not as big… My daughter on the other hand does not like macaroni and cheese(Ik She’s weird lol what toddler doesn’t love macaroni and cheese), so I got her A tater tot bowl which she absolutely loved and finished every bite of it Which is a normal because she typically plays with her food I would definitely come back here for just a fun night. Everything about it was so cute and the staff were the most friendliest people ever and very patient with us. I would Definitely recommend this place for people with kids. It’s so kid friendly open space and really the cutest thing ever and There’s a photo wall

Oh.... my....God.... This is probably the best ever result to saying: "Let's try a new restaurant to eat at tonight." I got the macaroni and cheese grilled cheese sandwich with short ribs inside. Yeah... you heard me right....A mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwich. The staff was friendly and patient with us as they have endless combinations of a meal you can make. It took us like 15 minutes to decide. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

I love this place! Have gone a few times and it’s always a great experience. The staff is always so kind and friendly. I’ve tried a build your own Mac and cheese, grilled cheese with tomato soup, chicken parm mac and cheese, the cup of cookies. Everything is always scrumptious! My friend was also vegan and there were a lot of options for her and she said everything was delicious!

Let's start with Mac and Cheese!! The Mac and Cheese was pretty good. I got the Buaffalo Blue, I saw a complaint someone made about too much Buffalo Sauce. Mine didn't have nearly enough, so there is still some balance needed there. That being said, it was good enough that both me and my friend went back for more food, not because there wasn't enough, we were already full but had stuff we wanted to try. I got a grilled cheese that is absolutely amazing. Their tomato soup that came with it was great also. We had some cheesecake bites for desert. They were good enough. I got more to take back to the hotel. Our server Kavi was super friendly and did an excellent job. I highly recommend giving the place a try. The Mac and cheese seemed a little pricey for what you get, but the sandwiches we had afterwords were steller.

Me and my sister had an absolutely terrible experience at this place. The food was cold and clearly was not in the oven long enough.Not only was the food unappetizing, but the service was abysmal. The staff was rude, inattentive, and seemed completely disinterested in providing a positive dinner experience. To make matters worse, when I brought up my concerns they were dismissive and unapologetic. But willing to run the Mac and cheese back through the oven. The ice machine had zero ice and the girl working looked at me multiple times trying to get some ice for my soda. She brought out a bucket of ice to the machine when we were leaving. I will never be returning to this establishment and would caution anyone considering to grub here. It was a complete waste of time and money.

Walked in and was greeted and offered information about the menu. Harper made sure our questions were answered and put our food in meals to help us out! The food was delicious! The best of both worlds grilled cheese gets 10 stars. The Mac n cheese was good too! Loved the tomato soup. We tried Mac n cheese bites that were good too, and don’t forget the cheese cake bites! Would come back again and again. The restaurant was clean and pleasant to be in! Loved the heart shaped dishes. Great job I ❤️ Mac n cheese!
