Google
Best priced pho around the area & really tasty! Super nice service we were greeted, seated & given water immediately. Generous portions including the meat & very fair pricing. (Also really appreciated kids size bowls for pho.) Will definitely visit again!

My husband happened to come for lunch the day before and it was so good. He decided to bring me the next day. Service was good. Food was excellent. Definitely will be back. What’s our servers name? How do you spell it? Khanh was excellent What’s also Vivian was very professional

Google
The Banh Mi Saigon was so delicious, as were the fried pork egg rolls and the pho.

Google
OMG when I say the food is AMAZING . Me and my husband first time here and we will be back .

Google
Nice and friendly staff. Food came out fast. Pho combination was good. The pork chop rice platter wasn't the best. Pork chop seemed to have been old, was dry and rubbery.

Google
This place has become the spot for Phó. We always get the P1 to go and let me just say that the jumbo is Actually a Jumbo not like other places we have been to. 1 jumbo is enough for myself, husband, and 3 kiddos, And there is some left over.. for just about 20$. On top of it the quality of the food Never fails, it is Delicious! Would highly recommend!

Google
I come here every week from red wing at least a few times a week. Nice place and great friendly staff! The broth can sometimes be a hit or miss and when I say this I mean with the seasoning and morning batch seems to be most aromatic! I love the quality versus quantity and this is one of my favorite spots on the East side of St. Paul!

Google
Great staff, fast service. Their pho is like drinking a flat Sprite. Cool, it’s still Sprite, but there’s no carbonation/fizz and doesn’t taste as good. Doesn’t give satisfaction or have that “wow” factor.

Yelp
Came here on a weeknight and it had a decent crowd. We got sat immediately. Service was fast and the girl who took our order and checked us out was very nice. The pho here was great! Clean broth and flavorful. Definitely will be coming back here if I am in the area again. The ambiance is meh, I mean I am there to see if the pho is legit or not (which it is), not to stare at the walls, lol! It wasn't horrible but wasn't the classiest ambience. There is a lot of parking as it seems like it shares a parking lot with a Hmong market next door.

Yelp
Small but mighty! I just discovered this place through a friend and I've already been back twice! It was first time trying the Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwich and now I'm hooked! I also had the jalapeño cream cheese wontons- they were so crisp and served hot right out the fryer! I'm so happy to add this place to my list of go-tos! The owner also came over and spoke with me, she was very sweet!

Yelp
That pork is the best freaking pork I have ever had in my life....so like....order the pork fried rice and the pork spring rolls I am telling you...they are everything and you will not be disappointed. Also, the Pho is amazing, and the staff are top notch. This is the cutest little restaurant, and you will love it. Go. What are you waiting for?
google avatar

Yelp
Staff there are super sweet and friendly. Felt very welcomed! Food is amazing as always. When you need something fast, this is the place to go. Food came out so fast, got out of there pretty quick after dining. Definitely my to go to!

Yelp
I called for a pickup for D1. I asked for no noodles extra lettuce. When I went to pick up I asked if there was no noodles and extra lettuce and they said yes. That was not the case. The flavor was mediocre as well. First and last time!

Yelp
Out of towner here: -Pho broth bland. -didn't get chili oil To go -warning: they packed the raw meat directly on top of all the pho items. (Talk about cross- contamination) Banh mi (the combination one) was surprisingly good. I would order that again but the pho was a no go.

Yelp
While there are several great Vietnamese restaurants that serve up amazingly scrumptious and hearty pho, this is my go to spot. It's close to my home and their pho has a clear broth and it's exceptionally fragrant, the two things I look for. I could make my own, but when I'm sick (especially the self inflicted kind of sickness caused by whiskey) or really cold deep in my bones because it's winter 7 months out of the year in MN, I can't wait two days for my homemade pho. I call "I Heart Pho" and order the extra large combination bowl and top the order off with jalapeño cream cheese wontons because I've accepted gluttony in my life and I don't care. Oh, and extra bean sprouts for my pho because I'm about that fresh and crisp feel in my pho. I've never dined in, but no matter what time of day it seems there's always a decent amount of diner and orders to go lining their counters. The staff is always friendly and my meal is always ready to go in the 15 minutes they say it'll be ready. I heart pho. That is all.

Yelp
Lightning fast service, our food always comes out very fast, and the staff is always very present, they're definitely on top of everything. A big strength of this place are the people who work here. The staff is so welcoming, friendly, we always end up trading jokes with them, and they're all super good at their job. If the owners ever read this, do whatever you need to do to retain your staff, because they're all stars. The food itself is so scrumptious, really good flavor, everything tastes fresh, the sauces in particular are so nice. The bubble tea in particular is really good here as well, usually I'll order one to go, even if I just put it in my fridge for later. Ironically, I don't usually get the pho when I come here, although a lot of my friends do. I'm all about that Banh Mi sandwich, I'd love to have one right now. I've been trying very hard to get out of the habit of going to chain restaurants, and trying to support more local businesses. I Heart Pho is a great alternative for a quick bite, food is good, but also comes out super fast, relaxed dining atmosphere, very spacious, good acoustics. Everything is also very affordably priced, and the portion sizes are spot on, not too little, and not too much.

Yelp
If you love pho this is the place to enrich that love and just enjoy a beautiful bowl of soup. Discovered this place a few years ago and now that I am on the East side of the river it is a quick 15 minutes away. They offer several different options for proteins. Being a straight forward guy I stick with the classic steak. Eat in or take out you will be satisfied. The regular size is a meal. I haven't tried the XL but it sounds like a party. Great flavor that never disappoints and you get to customize the seasoning and spice. Make it your own. Glad I am closer to this joint. I highly recommend.

Yelp
I'll tell you why I couldn't give it five stars at the end. The food is unbelievable! The pho broth was light, layered, yet rich. Honestly one of the best broths I've ever had. The spring rolls were bigger than other places. The sauce could have been more sour than sweet for my taste. The service was fine, but very fast. The reason I gave it four stars and not five is because I didn't like the fact they had chopsticks and spoons just sitting in a container at the table. Like anyone could have put their dirty hands all over the utensils you're gonna put in your mouth. Ick.
google avatar

Keith P.

Yelp
You know what folks? I got to the bottom of that delicious, warming, and fragrantly beautiful bowl of Pho and I found something. Another star. People that try this hard and produce food of this quality deserve a fifth star. It's just so goddamn good. Young guys working their butt off out front. Serving bowls of love at just a stupid quick pace. But then I saw it, I saw the chef come out front briefly. All 4 feet 10 inches of culinary mastery. A lifetime of perfecting her craft, and fuck me does it show. It's not a secret anymore. 8 o'clock on a Tuesday night and the place was bumpin'. Big families. Couples. A dad and his 11 year old daughter (that's me). And a steady stream of take out. It's cool if you want to join in the party and pretend you've known for years. They won't mind. Cause noodles are always forgiving, and delicious.

Yelp
Tasty pho and bahn mi sandwiches, this place is pretty awesome. Service has always been good during my visits. If you need a bahn mi on the go, I like getting these takeout as well. Dine in pho is a great option too. My in laws live close by, so we've been here numerous times and always have a good experience

Mario D.

Yelp
Delicious absolutely delicious! Good Service, the flavor is amazing , you have the option of choosing the size of the pho which I found awesome because that way you don't waist food can't wait to come again

Yelp
This is a really cute little place in St. Paul, the staff is sweet and the food is amazing! They have a parking lot and are right across the street to an Asian grocery market which i find convenient! The only draw back is that the walls are pretty filthy with soup back splash.
google avatar

Kathryn D.

Yelp
Watch out vegetarians! Even their tofu pho is served with beef broth. My partner ordered pho for us, tofu pho for me, beef for him and came home with two identical soup containers. I called the restaurant and was told that all their pho has a beef broth base. Somewhat on me for not checking for vegetarian language myself, but be warned! It wasn't that fun to cook my own veggie broth just so I could eat the toppings I paid for. Veggie spring rolls were great!
google avatar

Yelp
I stopped into I Heart Pho to grab a quick late lunch. I got the regular Banh Mi ($4.50) and a Vietnamese iced coffee ($3). I ordered at the counter and got my food within 10 minutes. I thought the banh mi was great. It was stuffed with a lot of meat and toppings (cilantro, jalapeños, cucumber, pickled veggies). I've had better French bread, but all in all, it was a solid banh mi. I'd like to try their Saigon banh mi next time I'm there. The Vietnamese iced coffee gave me a little energy boost, but I felt like it should've been stronger than it was. I Heart Pho is definitely a cheap and tasty option for Vietnamese food!

Yelp
I come here often enough to know that it's quick, easy, and convenient. The time it takes us to order and get our food is why I come here, really. The ambience is like a hole in the wall, Ma & pop shop. There's usually 2 people who work up front, and they are always on top of taking care of customers. I've had a variety of things off the menu before, from the bahn mi sandwiches to the rice platters, bun salads and pho. Though the taste isn't "WOW", it tastes like a quick-meal-good and fills me up. I'll eat it. Today, my husband and I had the P1, which is the combination. I usually get the kid size, cause the regular really fills me up, but today, my eyes were particularly big and I got the regular. We also got the spring rolls and eggrolls. The pho broth is clear and has the perfect taste, not too salty, not too sweet, but I always add fish sauce for extra taste. It's nice for a cold day. The spring rolls are just as expected. The vegetables were fresh, and had a good ratio of noodles to shrimp to veggies. The eggrolls were nice and crunchy, and had a good amount of glass noodles and meat. It's not as flavorful as I would've liked but definitely tastes better and had more filling than what I've had at Hmong village. Overall, I will continue to come back when I want a quick bite of Asian cuisine to eat.

Yelp
One of my wistful memories of the bygone pre-pandemic times was of stopping for pho in the middle of my evening commute on a frigid Minnesota night. My favorite spot for that activity was iPho by Saigon, and this spot on East Maryland is owned by the same people and they serve the same pho. So getting their pho takeout-style has provided some much needed comfort. It's awesome pho. Really really tasty and affordable. I'm writing this in August of 2020, and their dining room has been open for a while. Like, longer than most places. The first time I went here was right after the end of the statewide lockdown in the spring, and although I was there to pick up some takeout, they were operating as if it were 2019. Full dining room, not a mask in sight. It felt irresponsible. But also, getting takeout pho is definitely not the same as getting that broth served up right out of the kitchen, so I understand wanting to eat in. But it's not like this is a meticulously decorated date-night bistro. It's a very utilitarian, slapdash facility where they crammed a little cash register in a corner of the kitchen that faces the dining room. It's a duck-in-from-the-crowded-streets kind of place... but with pho that tastes so good that it pretty much makes everything okay. I'll probably never eat my pho in their dining room, but as long as it isn't putting me on a ventilator I'm going to keep getting their pho to-go. Curbside pickup would sure be nice, though.

Yelp
Grabbed a bite here with the volleyball team after our game at the community center. Food was great. I'll be back for sure

Yelp
My local pho spot. Decent prices and filling bowls. They recently stopped adding broccoli as a side but other than that I'm not mad.

Yelp
When I'm fighting a bug or it is one of those bone chilling days, there is nothing better than a big bowl of pho to me. Pho is such a simple dish, yet in my experience it is also so simple to mess up. I Heart Pho does a standout job. The broth is clear and nourishing. The noodles have the right level of bite to them. The beef always cooks to a nice tender in the broth. Load it up how you like (I prefer mine almost orange with hot sauce), and enjoy. Service is always friendly and fast. You barely have time to sit down before the food is already at your table. It is a great quick bit option. With the pandemic, ordering is very easy. The broth and mix ins are kept separate. When you are ready, reheat (or I would) the broth, then mix in your noodles, beef, and whatever else you desire. Almost as good as having it in the store. As we enter into the winter months plus cold and flu season, I know I Heart Pho will be going on my speed dial.

Yelp
The pho and food was good. This is a very small restaurant but never seems to be pack so you'll definitely find seating.

Sovie L.

Yelp
Ordered for pickup, fast service. Pho on point. Springroll sauce too salty for our liking. Everything we ordered was okay. Good portions. We probably won't be ordering anything else next time besides pho.
google avatar

Shisana J.

Yelp
I was in the area and wanted pho . I came in and as soon as I walked in I was greeted and told I could sit anywhere I want. I ordered cream cheese puffs with jalapeños inside and they were so good. They were slices of jalapeños rather than dice pieces put it was still really good. I also ordered a regular bowl of chicken pho with broccoli. It was a HUGE portion which is usual for pho restaurants. It was so good after adding all the savory condiments since I found the broth to be sweeter than usual from the spice. We also ordered E7, which was the Com dat biet. It was so good and the portion was so much that two people were able to eat from it. It came really pretty so the presentation was wonderful. It took a while for the server to come check up on us and box our food and bring our checks but we didn't mind too much. It was our first time here but we will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was really great! I was greeted and seated right the way. Woman was a great listener, because I have made some changes to my pho and spring rolls. Food came out fast and tastes excellent! Overall wonderful experience!

Yelp
(Based on pre-covid visits) My mom is such a fan of this spot-- mainly because we don't have to drive over towards University avenue for a pho spot that she will enjoy. We come visit regularly and the food has not disappointed us once! My family is big on pho and my mom, who is one of the pickiest eaters that I know, enjoys the comfort food. It's a smaller space and usually when we arrive there isn't too much of a rush. The service is fast and the staff is always friendly towards us. We haven't had a bad experience with the staff during our many visits and my mom likes how fast we can get seated and our food given to us. I also just learned that they are owned from the same people as iPho (if I am not mistaken!)
google avatar

Emily Z.

Yelp
This place is so fast and pretty good. I believe it's the same owners as iPho (which, I think is better) but it's still tasty here. Their portions are really big but for a hungry adult, you can finish a large pho in one sitting. Jalapeno cream cheese wontons were delicious too. Smaller restaurant but they serve people fast so it works for them.
google avatar

Jon N.

Yelp
Banh mi special and rice platter was different than most places I've gone to for Vietnamese food. It was really good and totally worth the price !

Yelp
Wonderful food and service. Due to Covid 19, my husband and I had been ordering food from local small businesses. We've been a fan of IPho since day 1, and also love their sister spot I Heart Pho as well. It's a mini version of their big brother on University and the menu has also been shortened. We usually order our usual. I ordered the Vietnamese sandwich, the Special. There's meatballs, bbq pork, and the whole shebang (pate, pickled carrot, Dikon, jalapeño, cilantro). The bread was super crunchy with a soft bite. I love it! You could never go wrong with a Bahn Mi.
google avatar

Panda V.

Yelp
My first time eating here i was surprise at how much meat and veggies they put in the pho. The first restaurant that wasn't stingy about it. GREAT PRICE & GREAT PORTION. Love the boba tea too.
google avatar

Mindy B.

Yelp
This is probably the closest Vietnamese restaurant to my house so I've stopped by a couple of times. Last time I was disappointed with the pho. The broth was pretty bland and had a funky flavor. It did not taste like traditional pho broth and i can't pinpoint what that flavor was. The Banh mi was pretty awesome. The bread was softer than what I'm used to but I was okay with that. The prices are really reasonable and it's worth checking out.
google avatar

Ashif M.

Yelp
Always worth the drive from Bloomington! I Heart Pho is our do to place whenever we need our fix. The service is friendly, the pho is great and their prices are very reasonable.

Kuvlubnpe H.

Yelp
The 4-stars is for the Pho I tried today only and also the staff, etc. Came here with my kiddo. Parking lot so fairly easy getting in and out. We each had a kid sized bowl of pho. I had the combo and she had the beef meatball. Compared to many pho broth both Vietnamese and Hmong ,this broth would be considered "better" at least IMO. We shared egg rolls too which were extremely dry and salty and flavored in a very interesting way. I am sorry I cannot describe t but I'd never get it there again for sure. I had low expectations of the phone (my main reason for going there today) coming in and was pleasantly surprised. Love it when that happens. TBH I am not into MN restaurant pho. It usually is cheaply made and just tastes plain bad 95% of the time. Today was my first time here and I thought for the taste, location and price - it was a really great value. It's family friendly and have a parking lot. I'd go there again for pho in a pinch on this side of town.

Yelp
Pros: The pho soup base tasted good. The vegetable on the side came with good size lime. Extra large came with good amount of noodle and meats. Cons: The noodles didn't taste good. Hopefully they change the noodles next time around. Other info: For those who likes alcohol with their food, this restaurant currently does not serve those type of beverages. I will try again next time and will update if anything changes. This time I ordered the Pho Combination extra large.

Peter V.

Yelp
If you want clear broth pho on the East side of St. Paul, it's right here. Good spot with a good kitchen, as in whatever you choose will be good.

Qu K.

Yelp
I got here around 530pm and got seated right away. Waiters are courteous and water was brought to me right away. I ordered the grill pork with Egg roll over vermicelli noodle. I asked for no bean sprout which my waiter was more than happy to oblige. The food came quick and the lettuce are fresh. The meat is hot and noodle cold as it should be. Great combination and tastes good. Not sure about the egg roll as it was cut up into small pieces and not much taste to tell. My ice coffee came in n cute Togo cup sealed at the top. Tastes good. I would go back again.

Ruslan Z.

Yelp
Hands down the best pho in the twin cities. I took friends here and even they agreed with me! For $8 you get more pho than you can finish!
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
I walked 40 minutes during a snow storm to pick-up food from I Heart Pho... I've ordered the Bon Mi sandwich from this spot several times... soooo good!!! This time I ordered the Pho... (thought it would be soothing to warm up to a bowl of soup during a cold winters day) It was a huge amount of food... I'm no expert on what pho should taste like... But based on what I've heard, the broth did not taste as rich as I had imagined... it had a strong herbal flavor... but not the deep beef broth flavor that I've heard of... I will try it again because I believe in this restaurant! I want to support my neighborhood businesses. Try them out!!!

Yelp
Delicious food! Great service, smiling faces and always very busy. Enjoy both the dine in and carry out! The Jalepeno wontons are so good

Yelp
Love this I been going here for years now never disappointed clean and staff is always friendly and polite

Yelp
Tried it last time was good. But second time make me wait 30minutes. One group come behind me and got their food to eat when I only get my water. No veggies on my table yet. 20 minutes waiting, waiter come and told me they are start making new batch of bun bu hue soup. I was like WTF? I'm here at 10:45am. You guys don't even make the freaking soup yet? Is that how you guys doing business? If only I can give 0 Star I would do it. Not coming back for this shit of service. I curse cause I'm so mad. Ok then I got my bun bu hue, I should not expect much now with the hurry up make soup broth. Yes I shouldn't expect anything as I got old noodle that got reheat or re-boil in hot water. Most noodle keep break apart when I use chopstick to hold then

Claire C.

Yelp
The best pho broth I've ever had! chicken was a bit dry, but the broth more than made up for it. Would probably just order a meatless one next time. I love this place!
google avatar

Jackie L.

Yelp
I Heart Pho is aptly named. I love pho and we have a lot of good places in St. Paul to get it. This place stands out because the service is super fast (I got my soup in about 5 minutes from ordering) and the employees are very friendly. But the pho is great too. The broth is lighter than I usually see it elsewhere, but it's still quite flavorful. My favorite here is the seafood pho, with shrimps, mock crab, fish ball slices and calamari -- plenty of it. The regular size is actually quite large and I couldn't quite finish it all. The space is clean and efficiently run. It was quite busy at noon on a Wednesday so that's a good sign.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
I'd heard great things about this place and really wanted to like it. The service was great, but there were two long hairs in my spring roll. It was unappetizing and I don't think I'll be back. Bummer.
google avatar

Chai Y.

Yelp
Service: 4/5. Let's you sit anywhere. Nice people. Restaurant maintenance: 2.5/5. Napkins not stocked. Some forks and spoons were dirty. Food: 3/5. The combination pho tastes average. Small cuts of meat ball. Average Springroll. Sauce for Springroll is below average. Parking: 2.5/5. Not a big parking lot.
google avatar

Carlos P.

Yelp
Little hole in wall a spot. Solid pho and fair prices. Normally get the chicken pho as I only venture for more traditional pho's in Cali. Used to be a kfc way back in the day. They have some booths inside. Casual ambiance. Quick to get food.
google avatar

Shoua Y.

Yelp
The service was excellent compared to any other Asian restaurants that I had dine in. I expected the food to be more flavorable. I ordered the combination fried rice; the rice was super mushy and very blend. The meat in the fried rice was very little. The pho was ok, I had better pho. The eggrolls were good, but a bit pricey for 2 small eggrolls and this goes the same with the spring rolls. The jalapeno cream cheese puffs were ok also; there was little cream cheese filling, and I strongly recommend if the chef would chopped the jalapeno into little pieces and then mixing with the cream cheese.

Green G.

Yelp
This is my first time trying this place. There's a lot of food in the combination pho and I almost couldn't eat them all lol. The pho soup could have been a bit less salty and the pearls were a bit hard. Other than that, it is worth a try and I would go again!
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
This place hits the spot. The bowls are overflowing with love and meat! My big belly never gets satiated unless there is boiling hot beefy broth sitting in it every week in the winter time. It's Minnesota for goodness sake! You need some hot stuff to keep from freezing. I loved how big the bowl was with fragrant broth. The always get the combination rare beef, meat balls and the tripe. Everything was clean and refreshing. I wish they delivered because I will never leave the house again. I'll come back out in Spring. The wontons were huge and savory. My friend couldn't finish it and had to take it home. The Banh Mi was fresh and crispy. This is a great spot for good food. Simple interior of tables and no atmosphere. The focus is mainly on the food.

Nou V.

Yelp
This place have bad customer service & the quality of the food is bad! ! I placed 2 orders of chicken wings and they came out hot on the outside but ice in the inside. I asked to get a replacement and when I got the replacement it was still cold like before. Also, when I went to pay and ask for boxes and a container for pho. The pho container had grease on it like it was already used. We asked for a new one, so then they grabbed the grease container and instead of getting a new one they just washed it and tried to make it seem as if it was new. You can still see some small grease on it.
