I Like Food

The place is surprisingly big, with a pool table, a photo booth, and plenty of seating to chill with friends. The music and atmosphere are both great, lively without being too loud. In terms of food, they’re known for not having a burger on the menu (bold move 😛), but everything else totally makes up for it. The chicken sandwiches, wings, and wraps are all solid, but the crunchy wrap is the star, absolutely amazing. Five out of five, no notes. Definitely a go-to in the area. Whether you’re here for a night out, a casual bite, or just a drink, I Like Food is one of those spots you’ll want to come back to.

It's a bar, with a restaurant hidden in the back. The only thing stopping me from recommending this place is the atmosphere, but anyways I wasn't there for that, I was there for the I Like Food experience. Straight off the bat I thought I brought my girl to the wrong place. The outside looked sketchy af, theres no advertising that I saw for I Like Food. I really only went in cause I found parking (I'm glad I did). You'll walk into a bar, a VERY VERY old looking bar, but you can see it's potential, tons of space, clean, staff was friendly and took my order very quick. Okay back to I Like Food. Walk to the BACK of said bar (I don't know the bars name, let's just call it IYKYKB), there's a big menu the clearly shows all the items. Nothing on there particularly sticks out but we went with the Pernil Wrap, Churro Fries, and Pizza Rolls. This wasn't Bar food. It's restaurant food (in a bar). The wrap comes with spicy sauce on the side 👍🏽. It tasted amazing, crispy, filling, mouth watering. The Churro Fries were a hit by themselves but then you dip it in the chocolate sauce and 🤯🤯🤯 life changed. The pizza rolls were... Pizza rolls lmao I had to take a second look at the menu, it actually says Totinos pizza rolls 😂😂 glad we got them tho, it came with ranch dressing and we loved it although I hope they make their own when they open up there own business location one day. I see big things for I Like Food 🤞🏼 Fingers Crossed. The atmosphere. Now luckily there's plenty of space but at 7pm the bar started to get half full. The place is O. L. D. with Wooden torn up walls, seats looking half new with rips, tables way too small, and a bathroom only a mother could love. The Bathroom was clean but...... You couldn't tell from a photo. So I took a video, and you probably would still not want to go in but you know what, I'm sure the regulars would want you to stay away. If you can't handle the bathroom then you don't deserve to stay. So all in all get some food, go to the bar get a drink, they'll bring the food TO YOU, it was fast service, they came back and cleaned up the table. I wish I asked the servers name cause he was excellent as well. Shout out to the cooks! Please keep the crew together when you get your own location. We'll be back.

Lots of great vegan options such as the tenders and vegan nachos, however do not get the large spice box …. It’s $20 and 4 tiny pieces of chicken and the rest is just entirely fries…. they say you can share it but it it’s more of an overpriced snack than actual food. I had to order more food after so it ended up being a lot more $$ than I was looking to spend on dinner.

Great place with a good vibe and an amazing kitchen. The food is delicious, the service in the bar and in the kitchen is always good. Went with my wife for some booze and try the boneless wings in Buffalo and elote style, and it was really delicious. We’ll be back for sure.

I don’t know if I can say enough positive things about I Like Food. My friends and I wanted to get a drink and some affordable food, and I’ve had my eye on their pernil crunch wrap for a while. We were pleasantly surprised at how lively this corner bar was during the day. We headed straight to the back where we saw that beautiful kitchen window. We placed our orders of the crunch wrap and the classic and special chicken sandwiches with the served, who was the nicest. We sat down near the pool table and by the time we played a round, our food was at the table top. The pernil in the wrap was unbelievable. My friends couldn’t stop eating away at the chicken sandwiches they ordered. The prices were on point, and the bar was a vibe. More than happy to come back and try some other menu options.

I like food is really a hidden gem in Ridgewood, came in because i saw a video on tik tok. We came in at 2pm on a Sunday right when they open. We ordered the Pernil ultimate sandwich with seasoned fries to substitute the chips that come with it. The food was made pretty fast. The first bite was mouth watering. So many different flavors i didn't know i needed. The sandwich is very juicy. The wrap doesn't fall apart which i really liked and was very worried about. The fries tasted great. My boyfriend was in love. Can't wait to come back. They have a fully stocked bar also. This place is pretty big for a bar in Ridgewood, outdoor seating is an option too on their patio.

I've had food here (with beers from Aunt Ginny's) lots of times, and always enjoy! It's a great local spot and I love that its withn walking distance for me. Whoever commented that the menu never changes, that's definitely not true - they have specials that change out all the time (I think weekly). Speaking of specials, bring back the Cuban anytime... or make it a permenant feature. Yum. Special bonus is the delivery/takeout option in our current pandemic/social distancing society. I'm really glad that this place has not only been able to stay open, but is still making delicious bar food. I've ordered delivery twice since this all started, and both times it was friendly and arrived in the time quoted (one time much faster than the other... but I shouldn't be surprised they got super busy on "4/20")! They do their own delivery, not through a 3rd party service, so the fried foods actually arrive stilll crispy.

This is bar food but upscaled and considered the menu often updates but it's always for good reason. I can't tell you a bad bite I've had at this place. Located inside Aunt Ginnys it's the perfect place to get your late night muchines. At the moment I would try the Irish Spice Box and the Lemon pepper zaatar fries.

Awesome and affordable food for people of all diets. The menu is some of the most creative and elevated bar food Ive had in the country. Calling it bar food doesn't do it justice. I'm a big fan of the spice box, but have tried other menu items that are great too.
