We had a delightful lunch at I Love Noods, on Decatur Street. The atmosphere is very casual, yet colorful and upbeat. They have a pretty wide selection of Southeast Asian cuisine. Our food was served quickly and steaming hot. Our server was super friendly and took time to explain the menu for us, in detail. We will definitely eat here again.

We have been waiting years for ‘I Love Noods’ to open! We stay at the French Market Inn next door often and have seen the sign and couldn’t wait for this restaurant to open. Boy were we not disappointed. We met the owner. She is super friendly and welcoming. The other staff were super sweet too. Atmosphere is inviting and very clean. Highly recommend getting the passion fruit pineapple green tea, tenderloin pho and bbq pork bao! We will definitely be coming back on our next NOLA visit.

Very quaint atmosphere tux deep in the heart of the craziness that is New Orleans. The service staff was incredibly friendly, full of smiles and laughter. An easy menu made selections quick, and the food came out quick and hot. The Japanese old fashioned was a nice twist, while the boba to go was refreshing after.

Google
I got the spicy tonkotsu and an order of the pork soup dumplings. The flavor of the ramen was amazing! Very rich and just the right amount of heat to make my tongue tingle but not blow my mouth out. The soup dumplings were very tender and had a good amount of soup inside. The dipping sauce served with them matched it very well. Atmosphere was very chill and our waiter was super nice. Absolutely pop in if you find yourself close by!

Google
I tried this noodle restaurant in New Orleans and had a good experience! The ramen wasn’t traditional or very “oriental,” but it was tasty and satisfying enough for me to enjoy. The broth was flavorful, and the portion was generous. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. Not an authentic ramen experience, but still a solid meal if you’re in the area.

Google
I had an easy time ordering on the tablet but I had a hard time choosing there were so many good looking options! I decided on the green tea with mango and I wasn’t Expecting such a large cup! It was so good and I enjoyed the fruit inside. Thanks!

Google
This is one of my new favorite ramen spots. The spicy miso was amazing and my server was very attentive. I will be coming back soon. 10/10 recommend!

Google
Food was amazing. First time really trying ramen. I tried the Tokoyo Shoyu and it was fantastic. I went in where there were less ppl (practically empty lol) and I was finished pretty quickly. I had the fried pork appetizer as well and that was great!! I will be back!!

Yelp
My friends and I stopped at I Love Noods in New Orleans during the Halloween parade, and it was such a great experience! We got to enjoy delicious ramen while watching the parade -- it doesn't get much better than that. The food came out super fast, which was perfect because we were starving, and everything tasted amazing. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a great vibe -- casual, fun, and perfectly named (love the humor!). I'd definitely come back next time I'm in New Orleans!

Yelp
I was tired from too much travel, feeling a tad exhausted, and honestly needed noodle soup to revive me... so where did we end up but I Love Noods. I appreciate this spot for having a vegetarian noodle soup option because let me tell you, the craving was STRONG. We swung by around 8 pm on a Friday night and thankfully were able to grab a table pretty swiftly. They do have other bites like dumplings, karaage, pho, but I was on a mission for ramen (also the pho was all non-veg broth so LOL). I grabbed the vegetarian ramen which came with a jammy egg, tofu, and some delicious nori whereas my husband had the spicy curry ramen. We literally inhaled our bowls in record time and were able to pay pretty quickly to go hunting for dessert thereafter. Service was kind and helpful; checked in the appropriate amount and gave some recs. I will say the drink menu here looked fun aka I love boba and didn't have a chance to try the teas, but go forth and bubble tea away if interested! Solid noodle soup option in the area so check it out if you have the same hankering as me.

Yelp
I love noods, therefore I thought this would be the perfect place to satisfy that craving! Just a walk away from Jackson Square, I Love Noods is a nice, modernish Ramen joint. Our server was attentive and the food came out promptly, probably the fastest I've been served at a ramen place (though there weren't many people there midday). We had the Black Garlic Miso and Sapporo Miso Ramen for entrees. Both Ramens were pretty flavorful, loved that the chashu pork was seared, though the ramen was just a bit too salty and I thought a couple more toppings could have enhanced it! Overall, a good place to drop by and have ramen if you're non Decatur!
google avatar

Yelp
Good service and good was overall very tasty! We were a bit disappointed with the soup dumplings- there was literally no soup in any of them! The bao was larger than we thought it would be but could have used more filling. They also serve a variety of bubble teas and ramen/pho.
google avatar

Terry T.

Yelp
The service was great. Very friendly staff. The restaurant was a little busy at 1:30 in the afternoon. Very casual atmosphere. The food was amazing! Came out hot and delicious! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was because I don't care for cilantro and asked if they could go light and they didn't. It was still good. Just go!

Yelp
We stopped by this spot during our visit to New Orleans, and it was a great choice for a quick, casual ramen experience. The vibe is very much like a fast-casual place but with plenty of seating and a friendly crew. We ordered the cucumber salad, pork egg rolls, spicy ramen, and garlic ramen. Everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful -- no complaints at all. The ramen bowls had the perfect balance of broth, noodles, and toppings, and the sides were just as tasty. The only small hiccup was that my server forgot my drink, but honestly, it didn't ruin the experience. The food and overall service made up for it, and I left happy and satisfied. Definitely 100% recommended if you're craving ramen in NOLA!

Yelp
Came here for dinner last night. We were seated right away. Great customer service. Ordered the spicy Miso. It was definitely spicy. I did add a little more oil chili. The broth was good. I also ordered the lychee milk tea which was really good definitely help with the spiciness, my stomach was burning.

Yelp
Went on a Friday night and was very empty, even though it was on a very busy street! We ordered the soup dumplings as an appetizer, but was honestly the last item to come out (The server did warn us about this). For entree, we ordered Combination Pho which was pretty good! The broth was quite flavorful and different meats were delicious. The tonkatsu ramen was my favorite item- Quite spicy, meaty, hot fresh ramen is the best thing to get.

Yelp
Big surprise to find a place with Boba tea in the French Quarter. They had countless varieties that can all be customized that helped cool us down and refresh us after a day of walking around. Also glancing at their menu this place also sells PHO ! Not only do they have the standard Pho like Pho meatball or brisket they have Pho w/ Gulf Shrimp which is very difficult to find at most places that have Pho. So I will be back for Boba Tea & Pho and maybe try their Ramen!
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
I've been to ramen spots all over the US and this one was just not impressive. It was cute and good but nothing special. The ramen lacks more flavor. Tasted kind of plain. The sauces available at the table are hoisin and siracha, no soy or chili oil which is normalized to have. I wish the ramen options were more customizable, like adding different toppings or switching meats. $20 for a bowl that's probably not worth $20. The restaurant was empty so the employees were just on their phones.

Yelp
did not see this lil place in the quarterrr all in all it cured my hunger but it wasn't as yommy the black garlic ramen was probably the best for sure, with good flavor profile despite the meat being lackluster. the xiao long baos were better than i expected (crab and pork inside, soy sauce even more yom) and the spicy pork wontons were kinda a let down for me. it wasn't terrible but i've had better thas all ! all 14 of us were seated on a monday afternoon lol

Yelp
We were looking for a place to eat before heading back to our hotel. Our first choice was a Thai restaurant, but they couldn't accommodate our large group. Then we called Noods, and they told us, "Give us 20 minutes and we'll be ready for you." That was already a good sign! When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly busy, but the staff quickly rearranged tables -- even kindly asking one customer to move so they could seat us together. We really appreciated that (and the other customer's understanding!). The restaurant isn't fancy, but it's cozy and welcoming. To our surprise, the servers spoke our language, which made the experience even better. I ordered the Spicy Black Garlic Tonkotsu, and my husband got the Tenderloin and Brisket Pho -- both were excellent. The spicy broth had a nice kick without overpowering the flavor, and the portions were generous. Prices are reasonable, about the same as other ramen or pho spots. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The place wasn't too noisy, so we could actually talk and enjoy our food. Overall, great food, great service, and a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I definitely recommend this place! The food, the service, and the whole vibe make it worth a stop if you are anywhere near Decatur Street. The ramen bowls are the star of the show. The broth is rich, the toppings are fresh, and the noodles somehow manage to be both hearty and light at the same time. The flavors hit the perfect balance between comfort food and something a little special. Service was quick, friendly, and you can tell the staff really enjoys being there. Now for the funny part: I was so excited when my ramen came out that I leaned in for that first whiff of steam and managed to fog up my glasses so badly I could not see a thing. The server walked by just in time to see me blindly poking at the bowl with chopsticks like I was playing noodle roulette. They laughed, gave me an extra napkin to wipe down my glasses, and said, "That's how you know it's good." They were absolutely right. The ambiance is relaxed, with just enough energy from the music and people watching to make it fun without feeling overwhelming. It is the kind of place you could stop by solo, bring friends, or even make it a casual date night. Overall, great food, even better service, and a good laugh thrown in. Five stars from me.

Yelp
Had an early event in the FQ and just needed something to eat before heading over. It was happy hour so I snacked on some tempura shrimp and then ordered the regular edamame over their non-HH menu. I love that they have an old fashioned on their hh drink menu so I enjoyed one of those too. Sitting at the bar was great and the staff was lovely as always. Love that this quick and delicious option exists on Decatur.

Yelp
Arrived in town and needed some dinner -- no interest in partying tonight. Enter I Love Noods, right around the corner from my hotel and ready to serve me some takeout! My order was ready fast, before the stated time and I just walked right in and claimed it. I ordered: - brown sugar milk swirl bubble tea - fried chicken gyoza - shu mai - black garlic ramen The best thing was probably the gyoza -- perfectly fried (would be amazing dine-in/fresh) and the dipping sauce is addictive. The shu mai tasted a bit porkier(?) than I like, I must be accustomed to shrimp siu mai. The bubble tea was fine, the boba were a bit mushy. The black garlic ramen was decent! Good broth, I liked how they grilled/torched the pork for extra flavor. The ramen egg was fine but I wish it included another half of egg. Otherwise the toppings were pretty typical. All in all a good option for the area if you're looking for a quick meal of soup and dim sum!

Yelp
Walked in 15-ish minutes after ordering to-go. It's cute. Not too much. Not to plain. Just a nice little duck off Asian spot. There were two waitresses but both were on their phone so I did have to say excuse me but when she looked up she hopped up from the table immediately. Got the beef pho and dumplings for take out. Fried dumplings were so good! Fresh and hot. Pho was awesome too. I had all the clothes and accessories you needed to dress it up however you wanted to, including the plastic bowl WITH a nice lid. Broth wasn't spectacular on its own but it was definitely tasty! They were a little heavy on the onion for my personal taste but that's not something to deter me from returning. Just for less next time!

Yelp
10/10!!! We had reservations for the steam boat tour so we were on a slight time restraint and our waiter was super fast and helpful. I had the best Pho I have ever had! My husband had delicious ramen. We also shared the spicy edamame, I don't recommend this if you are wearing white like I was but it was delicious too! Wish I could have tried the dumplings but I'll be coming back to try it!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing service, best food we tried in NOLA! I tried the spicy me so Ramen bowl and it was delicious and I would definitely recommend this place for Ramen or pho.

Yelp
Newer spot in the French Quarters. Service was great! Soon as we walked in, we were greeted immediately and its open seating. The TOKYO SHOYU, which is the chicken ramen, was really good. Seasoned just right, hot, made fresh...would get it again every time! Tried the Egg Custard Bao, paired well with the ramen but by itself it was pretty dry. The pineapple and lime bubble tea was pretty tart with a bitter after taste, the lime was overpowering. Overall, will return!
google avatar

Lee R.

Yelp
This is literally the best ramen out there ever. The broth, protein, the noodles mesh together deliciously. It blends well with all the ingredients- noodles just cooked roght, beoth is very tasty, and the prom is very juicy!! The broth is done right matched perfectly with the black garlic and all you need to add is chili oil if you love spicy. The only thing thats missing is the seaweed. Both ramen were so good, it quench my craving. And oh my gosh, All dimsum were all tasty and savory. Don't forget their bobbas- brownaugar with black tea less than 50% sugar and taro were both good as well. The only thing I would say is that the portion is little and price is high for the ramens at $17 and dimsum are $9 for 4 piece, and the bobbas sitting at $9 a piece- Too pricey for little food. Overall, food was Great!

Yelp
I was thrilled when this opened right beside our hotel! The employees were very nice . We complimented them about the inside because We had seen it when they were working on it last year. For Drinks: I got a Lychee highball, Hubbie got a Sakura Old fashioned, and My son the Mango Mojito. For Apps: We got Chicken Karaage, Fried Pork Spring rolls, and Seaweed salad For Entrees : My Son and Hubbie got Tokyo Shoyu and Beef Deluxe Pho . I was pretty stuffed from the apps. Everything was good and We will definitely come again. I knocked a star off for charging a *3% fee for using a Credit card . This is on the receipt in small print. I don't like when establishments do this. Knock that off you will get a 5.

Yelp
Yummy black garlic ramen, would like a little bit more ramen. Didn't really enjoy the pork, too thick of a cut for my liking. My friend got the pho and it was okay. Glad I went with black garlic ramen, it's hearty and tasty! Def recommend Great service! Clean and aesthetically nice setting.

Yelp
Such a great piece to eat fabulous food when you just need something different from the rest of the block!

Gd_ethan G.

Yelp
Great food, I had the black garlic tonkotsu ramen and it was very flavorful for the price, especially in the French quarter. My girlfriend got pho and it was some of the best pho I've had in Nola and I eat it pretty often, service was nice as well. Will be back

helen p.

Yelp
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was out of this world and the service was exceptional. Michelle was very communicative and friendly. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
google avatar

Mateo L.

Yelp
Stop in to grab some Raman! And it was great! Got the (5) Chicken wings came plain with some sauce on the side that was okay and some amazing pork rolls! The #2 Raman was great! Not too spicy but had great flavor!
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
This place is a good stop if you're just looking for a quick lunch. We were seated quickly and food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. We've been to a lot of pho places so don't look harshly on 3 stars as being bad at all, this place didn't have anything mind blowing as far as flavors. It was very good for the value and time saved. We would come back if looking for a quick bite with no wait.
google avatar

Tia C.

Yelp
The inside is very cute and trendy! It was pretty empty when I went. The service was okay and so was the food. For an appetizer I got the chicken dumplings and I was not impressed. The outside was crispy and promising but the chicken filling was pale and bland. I did not enjoy them at all. The spicy Tonkotsu was pretty good but could have had a little more flavorful. I added chili oil and salt to mine. If i were to revisit, I may ask for recommendations to choose better dishes.
google avatar

Mahogany D.

Yelp
The black garlic is so good and the spicy garlic is spicy but still flavorful. Service was good even tho I got there 8 mins before they closed. Such a nice place to eat and chill, they have liquor which is a plus but kinda pricey.
google avatar

Chelsie K.

Yelp
Thank you Noods and our server Eddie for a fantastic meal! We ordered a wide variety of Dim Sum and appetizers and it was ALL delicious. The real standouts were the cucumber salad, the spicy edamame, and the shrimp and pork soup dumplings(we even ordered another round of these)! If we ever find ourselves in NOLA French quarter again this is a must visit. Thank you again!

Yelp
I came here on Sunday, March 16, 2025 for dinner with my sister & two friends. We ordered 2 of the pork spring rolls, 1 crab & pork dumplings for appetizers followed by 4 Tea drinks, 3 were the grapefruit & peach ( no dairy) & 1 was strawberries & cream. We ordered 3 Ramen Bowls, mine was Spicy Miso, & I loved it! Keep in mind that it was spicy but in a good way. I didn't need to add any hot sauce & it had enough of toppings. I've had sinus drip & that broth drained me out & the nutrients in the broth did me well. My sister had the shrimp PHO & my other two friends Spicy Tonkatsu, one was non-spicy.... Everyone loved what they ate! The servers were pleasant. Based on our experience we shall return. They do not serve alcoholic beverages here. The bill for 4 teas, 3 ramen bowls, 1 pho, 3 appetizers was $127 including 10% tax.... We left a $20 tip in cash, my friend who paid the bill caught the waitress trying to acquire an additional tip on the card reader. He caught it & by-passed it....He felt it was intentional. I think it's an automatic prompt. PS, there was a good music playlist!

Yelp
New pan Asian "noodle shop, with ramen and pho. Going to try to be constructive and balanced. Ambience: none, unless you are a Gen Z newb to noodles. Bright, loud, hard "turn that table" seating, with pricing too high for what it is. Food: Pork- crab Soup Dumpling: excellent flavor, and the broth, what little there was of it, had a great, fatty palate. Problem: hard to tell it was a "soup" dumpling...almost no broth. So it was never there,or it leaked out in process. We made sure the dumpling skin did not tear on the paper liner and leak there. Though that was difficult...they need to rub or spray their steamer paper with a bit of light oil to keep their bao and such from sticking. But, really, when I order a soup dumpling, I want some broth in my spoon when I break the skin...or I don't think I am getting a Xiao long bao. Crystal shrimp dumpling: get the shumai. Barbecue pork bao: very flavorful filling...red pork with some brown sugar boost. Delightful steamed bun...full done and hot! Stuck to the steamer liner paper, though, so we're back to that issue. Deluxe Beef Pho:: salty and underwhelming...NOT bone broth...beef broth-yes, but...too little elemental spicing....5-spices star anise...you know. The broth was just flat, when it should have been FORTIFYING...ENERVATING! But this was just not. .. And no amount of hoisin, soy, leaf basil, lime or sriracha was going to get it where it was supposed to already be. The Tenderloin was moist and only partially cooked...LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. not enough tendon...only 3 meatball halves...brisket dry but tender....lots of noodles at just the right texture as it cooked in the broth and as I consumed them. service: 30% occupancy. Setups were chopsticks with ONE, 12x12, single-ply paper napkin. ...for a menu FULL of finger foods...edamame, spring rolls, barbecue bao...you get it. At least put napkin dispensers on the tables. ...and maybe some quality plastic setups for the "chopstick-impaired." ...or offer them at the beginning when order-taking. Seemed like the wait staff may have been owners not used to that role...or just learning the ropes. Sat with an empty beer glass for 10 minutes while one guy was here and there, and another busy with refilling a fill straw-and-napkin holder at the door. Now, please don't get me wrong...they were charming and eager to please! It just seemed like they needed guidance. We NEVER felt unwelcome or deliberately ignored. These guys just opened in Feb, 2025, and they may just be a little...say, "unpracticed" in the trade. In sum: Overpriced McNoodles.

Yelp
The service here was great! Everyone made us feel welcomed!! Would definitely come to this noods place again when we're in town!

Maricruz C.

Yelp
Service was fast! It's a cute small spot to eat ramen / pho. I have never heard of a spot that had ramen and boba. It was a great experience. Our server name was Jaclyn she was really friendly and nice. Checked up on us. Even suggested another tea for us to try. We paid $64 for 5 items , 2 ramens , 2 boba & crab & pork dumplings. Black garlic ramen was really good 10/10 Peach Strawberry Tea w strawberry popping boba 10/10. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends & family.

Yelp
A new place that just opened up two weeks ago so they're getting the hang of things, but they're doing it really well. The place is very cute and the service was great. The server we had was new but she tried her best to make sure everything was perfect. We got pho, ramen, and a bbq pork bun and nothing disappointed. You don't see many restaurants attempting diverse Asian food but they execute it really well. We also got boba and it was pretty good too. I hope this place does really well because there aren't that many Asian food places around French quarter. Good luck!
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
As you can see, we didn't even take photos of the before, everything was delicious, pho tasted homemade, Dim sum was fresh and the sauce that comes with it is so good! Will definitely be back for the Ramen and other dishes.

Yelp
"I Love Noods" for the Win! New business which recently opened prior to this year's Super Bowl. We came at the right time because they got pack quickly. Ms. Kat provided us with some outstanding customer service....Friendly and polite, explaining the menu to a couple of Aficionados of Tasty Ramen. Gyoza was hot and fresh, cooked to perfection and the Secret sauce is really good. We also tried the Shumai (Pork Shrimp Dumplings). For Ramen we both had the Black Garlic Tomkotsu which came to us very hot as expected. Flavor was on point with the broth and the noodles were plentiful. Definitely rating this one as Number 1, currently. Best I've had of all other Ramen locations, hands down. Without all of these Americans, we would be back in Japan . I also love that you can order your food to go.

tuyet n.

Yelp
I ordered the black garlic tonkotsu ramen and added corn. Overall, good flavor. I love the pork. I don't like when my work is too chunky because it gets overwhelming, but the portion is perfect for the bowl. Pork flavor has that Smokey grilled taste. I wouldn't mind trying again. Little disappointed they forgot my egg. It's one of the things i look forward to in my ramen, but other than that 8/10.

Lulu N.

Yelp
Soo flavorful!! Best beef pho I've ever had! Spring rolls were great too. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Dave V.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this new restaurant. To open up over Super Bowl and roll into Mardi Gras they handle it with incredible professionalism. Talk about getting thrown into the fire. Food-I tried a number of their dim sum items and all were very good. Especially the bbq pork bao. Then rolled into the shrimp pho. Broth was spot on and a healthy amount of shrimp are added in. Service-I went twice and Jaclyn (one of the owners) orchestrated service, while continuing to train a new staff in a new restaurant, with such positive energy. As a restaurant owner, I appreciated how she had eyes everywhere and treated her team with great respect and appreciation guiding them through a busy post Mardi Gras service. HIGHLY recommend you get to this place soon before word gets out GREAT job Jaclyn and your team. Congratulations and keep up the great work.

Yelp
The staff were very friendly, and the service was very professional and fast. Ordered the spicy miso ramen, shumai, soup dumplings, and passion fruit/lime green tea. The spicy ramen was flavorful and had a kick to it, not overly spicy. The shumai and soup dumplings were good too. And the passion fruit/lime green tea was very refreshing.

Audrey L.

Yelp
The service was very warm from the second we walked in! Food was amazing!! Spring rolls had a great filling ratio. Not pictured but the spicy pork soup dumplings were the best bite by far!! Very well seasoned and satisfying. Will be returning!!

Adrienne F.

Yelp
I love this place. The vibes and the workers are amazing. I visit almost everyday. The server named Jackie is amazing and all the other staff too.

Richard F.

Yelp
Food was excellent. The only item that we did not like was the fried wings, the staff were very attentive and even asked about why we did not eat the wings. We told them the truth, they asked how they could improve them for the future, which impressed us. They even took them off the bill. Definitely recommend the restaurant.

Hoang N.

Yelp
Great service with great good. Pho was definitely legitimate. Huge selection of appetizer from soup dumpling to chicken karage.

Elijah N.

Yelp
Amazing food and service!!!!!!! The atmosphere is amazing!! Please support them, definitely will be back
