"Salt and Straw, backed by Danny Meyer, is a Portland-based ice cream shop known for innovative flavors. It's opening its first New York City locations this summer. Ahead of the openings, they will host pop-ups including one at Brooklyn Brewery and another at their forthcoming West Village location." - Emma Orlow

Ilovetheupperwestside.com is a wonderful neighborhood resource with an engaged and active readership, not surprising in such a dynamic and engaged neighborhood. Mike is a professional who is a pleasure to work with. I just moved my business to the upper west side and Mike helped connect me in a really engaging way with readers who were a great fit for me as clients. It was one of the best marketing experiences I've had which helped me expand my business in a significant way. I highly recommend working with him.

We have advertised our New York City in-home music lessons service with Mike at "I Love the Upper West Side" and have had nothing but great experiences. New clients have found us through the site. Mike is easy to work with: responds quickly to questions and has great ideas for business marketing.

Review of Advertising with I Love the Upper West Side This is the best advertising I have done in the 9 years that we have been on the Upper West Side. It has helped us connect with "locals" 10 times more cost effectively than with Google, Facebook or Instagram. To have a trusted local "guide" connect us with his readers is priceless. I only hope that not too many people learn about this little gem so I dont get crowded out. Ironically we have a huge percentage of International patients that travel from all over the world to see us but up until now have been unsuccessful in connecting with those in our neighborhood. It has been truly effective in putting us in touch with our local residents who have been happy to find us.

We are not the "dream clients" for a realtor especially in NYC. We are super picky, have 2 dogs, and only wanted one specific type of apartment that had a long list of criteria that we couldn't compromise on. I had tried to get an apartment on the upper west side 2 years ago, enlisting an agent ( not from LWYLR) and looked at apartments. That adventure was a disaster and when I told them the apartments they were showing me were not hitting any of the points on my list- their answer was " This in New York City, you get what you get". Fast forward a year and another try at the Upper West Side. We met Zara from Love Where You Live and started looking at apartments ( we loved the " I love the Upper West Side website!) After many many listings we found our dream apartment. She never lost sight of our goal and we felt like we were being taken care of at all times. The whole team is great and if you are looking to get into this area there is no other choice.

I'm writing this to recommend one of the best Italian restaurants I have visited in New York City. I consider myself a bit of an expert on authentic Italian food and a self-proclaimed foodie with high expectations when it comes to restaurants boasting authentic Italian. I am here to say that Regional Restaurant and Wine Bar in the Upper West Side of Manhattan is by far the best Italian food I have had since I left Italy. Every meal is prepared with the utmost authenticity and perfection. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is just as if you were in Italy, with the owner visiting each table and personally ensuring that you are receiving the best service and meal possible. The chef is nothing short of an artist and his pairings of flavors and marriage of items in the daily specials are simply masterful. select any salad or pasta dish and you are sure to not only be pleased but have your expectations exceeded. The Branzino with couscous and clams flavored with lemon Capers and wine and served with the bed of fried leeks as light as air is one of the best dishes I have ever had in my life. Every item on the menu is perfect. The prefix menu at a low price of $25 offers you an appetizer generous entree and dessert all prepared with the greatest authenticity of true Italian cooking. They offer a great selection of Wines and Liquors and the owner is quick to recommend the perfect pairing for your meal. Weather permitting outdoor dining is also available to give you that Al Fresco Italian feel. Regional Restaurant and Wine Bar on Broadway and 98th may not get the notoriety of other Italian restaurants in the area but I have tried them all and I am here to tell you that this one is the only one that I have found that exceeds my expectations each and every time. I have been there 3 times in the last week and have been delighted on each visit. consistency, continuity and reliability are important to me and I know that I will always get a perfect meal at Regional. All of the desserts are fantastic but the real Hidden Gem is the hand-made semifreddo and I guarantee you will not find this anywhere else! They offer a fantastic deal on weekend brunch and overall the prices are on par if not less than many of the competition. I will also say that the portions are generous and you always get the best bang for your buck. If you haven't visited this restaurant and you like Italian food that is not only authentic but served in an authentic Italian atmosphere, then I encourage you to visit Regional Restaurant and Wine Bar in the Upper West Side. This is one of the Hidden gems of uws Manhattan.
