We had an excellent wine tasting at Iago’s Winery with very tasty homemade dishes – dried cherries, pesto, and cheese. The Chinuri wines were outstanding, and it was fascinating to learn about the different production processes, including Marina’s wine. The place is truly amazing – make sure to book in advance before visiting. Iago and Marina are wonderful, warm hosts, and we had a perfect time enjoying the tasting on their beautiful veranda.

Iagos winery can be called multiplie things. Tasting nice wines. Indulge into discussions of the old art of wine making. And feeling reconnected with that old friend of yours u haven’t seen for 20 years. Iagos is a place where u feel all of this. Iago and his wife Marina are elevating the art of wine making to the next level by sticking to what makes there wine so great and not following every trend to be liked by the masses. Even though this wine is exquisit and highly limited prices are fair and welcoming. I feel like they could get super rich by investing and expanding. But what they invest into is love and taking care. True heroes of Georgia and hope they have a great harvest.

Very friendly Iago and beautiful place in a small village, family winery. Interesting to listen to Iago and super delicious wine with homemade snack. I though it will be small snack, but we were full for all the day. Thank you for the comfort and warmth in your home.

Iago was really welcoming even though we arrived late in the day - and we had a good tasting with some snacks served by Ivan. I recommend you call ahead though so you don't catch him by surprise.
He has a lovely white wine - even though it's a natural qveri process, it's not too heavy, just robust. And an amazing red wine that's full of flavor.
