The service was good my food was ready in the allotted time they said between 10-15 minutes. The only thing is the food was not good. The crab dip taste like mayo more then crab dip I’ll show the pictures then the cheese steak egg rolls were not egg rolls I don’t know what that was but that was not what I expected. I was very disappointed in the food tasting and quality of the food.

Since I started my journey as a Foodie, everyone has always talked about the wings at this bar, on Maryland Ave., , and how they are the BEST on the city! So, on my birthday weekend, I was invited by an associate, to try iBar Baltimore! The service at the iBar is top notch! They make you feel welcomed. It very much was a 'CHEERS' kind of vibe in there, despite it not being a very big spot. The Chef Style wings did not disappoint! The sauce was very on point, but, I ordered too many at once. (Got 12) I feel, if you aren't a Quick wing eater, I'd suggest you order 6 at a time for max flavor. After awhile, the sauce tastes a tad different after the wings cooled off. I ordered fries, too. I would-ve lost the wing and frie challenge, if it was a competition.🤣🤣 My guest ordered a shrimp pasta and we both had a drink. Bill came up to $80+?!?!?! I was a little thrown off, but, their price is the price! I would make sure to pay attention to when they have specials, if you want to save a couple dollars. But, it's ABS9LUTELY WORTH the visit and patronization of this bar! The parking a little tight, too, but, that's why Uber is a useful service.👍🏽😎 iBar is TJ the DJ Quick Bite Approved!💯

It was my first time here so no expectations on Me. Had a good time though, the atmosphere was good. The food was and the music didn't miss a beat either. I didn't have all the food that I posted just some Mango-Jelepeno wings and fries. I was please with my order. I was there with some friends and I heard no complaints from them aswell. I had a drink (strawberry long island) and an angry orchard from off the tap. I sipped a little of my friends drinks and everything taste like juice. That's a be careful compliment because if everything taste like juice chances are if you drink more they'll sneak up on ya. All and all I'll say the trip wasn't a waste at all and I'm glad I was introduced to a new place by my friends.

Google
Decent beers and friendly staff and clientele. Very laid back space. I got the wings, which have earned their reputation. I don't typically like buffalo wings, but the chefs style (which has parmesan and garlic topping) fried normal and served Buffalo hot were fantastic. Make sure you've got a spice tolerance; suicidal hot was tolerable for me but may not be for you.

Google
Great food! And plenty of cocktails! Ibar has become a staple in Baltimore city for decades and they just keep getting better! Go see George and Paris during the day for lunch and you're sure to have good food and good conversation. You'll often see the owner, Becky, behind the bar working with her staff not worried about jumping right in when needed. Go in today for some of their famous wings and original Artisan cocktails!

Google
Fries so good I turned into Austin Powers. I walked in fully sober to pick up some seasoned fries as a late night snack for my drive home. Upon eating one, I grunted and went, "Yeah, baby." No idea where it came from because I don't normally talk like that. The "yeah baby"s continued through the rest of the plate of fries. Can't even be mad because the fries were so good. I took a massive dump when I got home, but that's just how my body reacts to fried food. 10/10 experience regardless.

Google
I visited this location and was greeted and served by Ti. He was very attentive, I ordered the buffalo garlic Parmesan wings & a loaded baked potato with shrimp and my drink was called a side car (which actually was served in a martini glass). Everything was really good & I had zero complaints. Great job to the cooks & bartenders/servers.
google avatar

Yelp
They have the best chef style wings and they have on the sauce which I love. I wasn't too thrilled with the crab dip, which I'm usually is. The chef style shrimp is also a must have along with sautéed spinach. Good drinks and good vibes. Parking is difficult but worth it. The waiter had the whole downstairs and he didn't miss a beat with getting food out on time and making good drinks!
google avatar

Yelp
iBar never misses! The chef-style wings were perfectly seasoned and crispy, and the drinks were creative and strong. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is very laid-back -- perfect for date night, solo date, or just catching a vibe. I enjoy visiting the IBar.

Yelp
I was so happy to hear this place was back open so I get my chef style fried hard buffalo wings! No other place makes them quite like iBar and they were just as good as I remember from years ago. We ordered take out due to the crowded bar on Sunday evening. The food was ready in about 15 minutes and still nice and hot when we arrived home. Parking can be hit or miss since it's street parking, but you'll definitely find something if you keep circling around. If you're looking to sit in then I recommend arriving earlier in the day. It can be a great place to grab a drink and the watch the games while enjoying food.

Yelp
After years of hearing that iBar has the best wings in Baltimore, I was finally able to give them a try. Unfortunately, they simply did not live up to the hype in my opinion. Maybe the quality has changed over the years, but I wasn't not impressed. My husband and I order a large pan of the buffalo wings. While the smell really good, the taste was mid.....as the kids says. They were too wet and not fry hard enough for my liking. The staff is also rude, which seems to be a running theme here. Won't be traveling back to this shady area for bad service and just "ok" wings.
google avatar

Yelp
We sat at the bar on a nice Friday night around 9. iBar is located in a busy neighborhood with other businesses on Maryland Avenue, not far from North Avenue. Shawn was our main bar tender and he was great. We both ordered drinks and an appetizer. The drinks were pretty good and the appetizers were pretty ok. The crab dip basically just has a layer of crab at the top, but the flavor is good overall. The calamari was fried perfectly, but it was mostly tough. It's a cool place to have drinks and food for sure. They have 2 floors of seating and the staff is all pretty good. The only issue which is out of their control, is parking.
google avatar

Tiffani M.

Yelp
The wings.. the buffalo, chefs style, fried hard wings are legit! My friend had been talking about this place for years and I finally made it. Small, chill, hang out spot. We ordered fried calamari and the Texas road house burgers, and of course the wings. I should have just ordered wings because they were so good. Everything else was good but u specifically went for the wings. Double check your drink price, I ordered an old fashioned and was asked if I wanted rail or some other bourbon (they had several brands), I can't remember the brand I got but didn't go with sygamore rye. I knew that would be way too expensive. My drink ended up costing $25 and I was a little shocked cuss.. it's an old fashioned.. nothing fancy. So just make sure to check the price differences in the types of liquor they offer ( if price matters). I'll be back for the chill atmosphere and those wings!

Yelp
The food here is out of sight!! This spot is definitely a diamond in the rough! Outside area may not be appealing, but once you get inside to the bar area upstairs, you will be pleasantly surprised at the extensive menu. There is an option for all cuisines, Italian, Mexican, America, and vegetarian if you prefer. Service is a little sketchy at times though. But the tvs and bar atmosphere will get you through. Stop by and enjoy.

Yelp
Finally made it to iBar. I'm probably heading back next week. Truly the wings are some of the best in the city, my sister ordered 8 to share (mild) because I wasn't that hungry. I could have eaten the entire 8 myself so that's exactly what I'll get on my next visit. We had Hennessy sidecars as our cocktails (when in Rome). The bartender did not disappoint. The pours were so heavy we only needed one each. The bartender's and patrons both are so darn friendly. Someone to the left of me that I didn't know allowed me taste his fries as soon as they came out. I'm adding those to my order next visit as well. It's small in there. I got there around 9pm on a Wednesday and there were maybe 3 seats left at the bar. Heading back soon.
google avatar

Brittney S.

Yelp
Some of the best wings I've had! The chef style Buffalo wings are so good! I think they add garlic and parmesan to the Buffalo sauce for the chef style and they will definitely keep me coming back for those. It's a small spot, so it's usually pretty crowded. Sometimes there's a little wait for a seat, but it's worth it.
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
Finally got my hands on some iBar wings. Every time I come in here, almost every seat is taken. On this particular day, my personal delivery driver (aka my boyfriend) was craving wings and brought some back for me. I got the buffalo wings "chef's style". Unfortunately, they were out of chef's style wings so regular buffalo wings were all they had. The wings were generously slathered in buffalo sauce and came with ranch dressing and a few pieces of celery. They were super yummy and picked clean from the bone in seconds. The buffalo were the perfect amount of spicy for me but my boyfriend got the "hot" wings and was sniffling from the heat. I'd be interested in coming back and trying more of their famous wing varieties and I've definitely gotta taste that chef's style someday.
google avatar

Mariyam S.

Yelp
Stopped by on a weeknight to try their buffalo wings and it did not disappoint! We got 8 wings in their medium spicy (chef style), regular fried. It was very yummy! Price was reasonable and service was lovely. We also got their honey lemon pepper wings (it's not on the menu - you can ask for it). Wasn't a big fan. This place has definitely got dive bar vibes and there was a good mixture of locals and people from other locales :) I would go back for the buffalo wings and maybe try the other menu items. The blackberry Tom Collins was boozy!
google avatar

Cortez S.

Yelp
Chefs wings are delicious! Salads are good as well. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Yelp
Once again, I attempted to eat at this restaurant. I saw that I had given a previous review of this restaurant for not listing their hours of operation. I was looking for a late night eatery on a Friday night. I was told that this spot has late hours. I attempted to confirm their hours online, which still isn't posted, and I called, but they didn't answer the phone. When I arrived at 11:45 pm, I was told that they close their doors at midnight and the kitchen closed at 11 pm. Ugh I guess it's not meant for me to eat here. That was my last and final attempt to support and eat from this eatery.

Yelp
After years of trying to find the best buffalo wings in Baltimore, I've found my favorite: Station North's iBar. Nothing beats sharing a bucket of 24 medium, fried-hard, chef style buffalo wings with both ranch and blue cheese. Their unique "chef-style" is a combination of garlic parmesan and your classic buffalo, which ranges in spice level from mild to devil's blood. Normally, wings are my go-to takeout meal, so I call 20 minutes ahead and pay at pickup. However, I tried coming by to finally dine in last Saturday, and there was a sign posted on the door that said the restaurant was closed 8/18-8/26. Ended up walking to nearby Clavel for dinner instead. I was disappointed since I'm such a big fan of their wings, but I'll have to try again sometime soon.

Yelp
Ibar came up on our radar I believe through social media. Being a wing lover, this place was rated very high so it was on my list of places to try! We have been trying to come here for several months so it was pretty exciting when we finally got the opportunity to head over this way! The area isn't the best so if you are not familiar, try to park nearby. There is street parking available. Onto the wings.. We ordered the hot buffalo sauce and it was VERY GOOD! The sauce struck a great balance of heat and vinegar. If you're not keen on spice, I did also try the medium and it was good too. While I was there, I asked for a side of the hottest sauce. As a spice lover, it was fine, definitely spicy but it was to the point that the heat did not make it an enjoyable experience. The wings were also decently sized, not too small and not grossly oversized. The prices were reasonable and the service was not bad at all. I would most definitely visit again!!!!

Yelp
Ibar has great food for what appears to be a dive bar. These are the best wings in the city. Get em "Chef Style". The experience with customer servic can be hit or miss, but today was a good day. It a good place to come watch a game; it just lively enough.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
I absolutely love the chef style shrimp! The best part is the food comes out hot and the drinks are strong! We will be back!

Yelp
Some of the best wings in Baltimore! Chef style, fried hard is the way to go! Love the atmosphere at this bar as well. It's a small dive bar but the place always stays packed. Definitely a must go to!

Yelp
Honey old bay wings are top tier. It's a cute spot to sit at the bar and have a drink or two. Staff are friendly.
google avatar

Joshina B.

Yelp
Cool bar to visit in the evening or late night with reasonably priced food and drinks. We typically like to sit in the bar area but it's not alot of space with seating and can get crowded so sometimes you may not luck up. The food is good. I inhaled my chef style wings which are my favorite I didn't get a picture of them. Service is okay, the bartenders do their best to stay on top of this demanding bar. The drinks were good as well. Definitely check this place out
google avatar

Steve R.

Yelp
Zero stars. Showed up they were closed. We came all the way from Jersey to try the wings. Found a parking spot paid for parking walked up to the front door and there was an office folder on the door saying. "Not taking orders " sadly we wasted our time going there and will be in town 2 more days but won't be trying this place. It literally takes 2 seconds to update your website. From the view of the one window it looked like the place wasn't well kept so we may have dodged a food poising.
google avatar

Mackswell P.

Yelp
Wings are Service takes a while and you have to put in a little effort to get the staff to warm up to you. Waited probably 20 min to get service and another 20 to order... everyone was very nice after initially feeling Ignored. I'll definitely go back and give it another shot. Some of the best wings in Bmore for sure

Yelp
2011 is the first year that I experienced Ibar and at the time it felt new/exciting !! There have been many changes as any company. However I am so excited to report the still serve the SAME DELICOOUSE CHEF STYLE WINGS that they always have!!! BOTTLE AND PACKAGE IT! Chef Style is CRAAzzyy!!

Yelp
This restaurant is like an elevated dive bar/sports bar. It's tucked away and unexpected. It's always pretty active. I went at 3pm on a Thursday, and there were many people and groups, seemingly just getting off of work. - The service was great - The food was very, very fresh. When I think of a dive bar, I think of cheap, overly processed, flash fried frozen foods, but not this place. The fries are freshly cut and taste like simple potatoes with no additives (which is important to food allergy sufferers because most foods have unnecessary additives. Would you believe most frozen fries have soy? Why? Just why? You can taste the difference between fresh and ultra-processed). The spinach in the mixed green salad was also very fresh and hearty. I just really didn't expect the quality of food to be what it was... - The service was excellent - The prices were very great, averaging $7-12 (appetizers) $12-25 (entrees) - The bathrooms were newer and clean (I feared old dirty bathrooms since it's an older looking venue, but nope! They cared to keep the bathrooms updated ) - Parking is street parking I will go back to try other items on the menu. I was surprisingly quite pleased.

Yelp
Why does no one ever answer the phone???? I've been trying to call for over 30 mins to place a to go order and the line is either busy or the call fails. This is ridiculous! It's as if they took their phone off of the line.

Yelp
TLDR: The wings live up to the hype. Both Medium and Hot flavors are tasty and wing size to price ratio is great. Vibe: 3/5. Located right on Maryland Ave in Old Goucher, ibar is a small bar restaurant that includes a half dozen high tops and a sizeable bar for seating. As for location, on the day we visited police had roped off the entire block directly in front of ibar due to a body being found right up the street. This was at 4pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon, so take that into consideration for neighborhood safety. However when we walked into the bar, there were a fair amount of people hanging out as if nothing happened, so either this is a common occurrence, or the wings are THAT good! Service: 5/5. The staff at ibar was wonderful during our visit. Service from both the bar and kitchen was great. Our food and drink orders came out perfectly done and in record time. There was a small hiccup when it came to paying the bill, as the waitress gave us the wrong tab, however it was quickly resolved. Food: 4/5. Top tier buffalo wings! Ibar claims to use the same wing recipe as Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY, which many consider to be the founders of the dish. During our visit, we opted to try both their medium and hot sauced wings. You are also given the choice for level of fried doneness per each wing order, a major plus for those who like extra crunch (me). Both sets of wings came out meaty, piping hot and thoroughly sauced. Both sauces had a great flavor balance between heat, vinegar and savoriness. The spice level jump between medium and hot is decent, with hot having a substantial lingering afterburn. Upon request, we were given a sample of the hottest level sauce at Ibar, the inferno, which has added capsaicin extract to the sauce to take it to the hottest of hot. Definitely not for the faint of heart. As for the drinks, the bar has a nice selection of local drafts as well as a well priced cocktail menu, which includes the Baltimore staple fresh squeezed orange crushes. Overall, Ibar is a solid contender for best wings in Baltimore. In my opinion, I prefer longtime favorite Kisling's wings slightly over Ibar due to the more vinegar forward sauce and ginormous wing size, but only by a blonde hair.
google avatar

Kelvin J.

Yelp
I've visited the iBar 3 times, and their wings and long island iced tea are one point. But last year, i decided to try their chef style. It is worth the hype!!!! Their hand cut fries are so good!!! The only issue I had was that there was no social distancing. Yes, the staff had their masks on, but the ppl who dined in were literally sitting next to each other. It was like sardines in a can, which is slightly the norm during normal times, but that last visit in 2022 wasn't during normal times, sadly.
google avatar

Kell M.

Yelp
Updated review because this place is really top tier. Everyone already knows how delicious the chef style wings are here (best wings in Baltimore, in my opinion) but you have to try the shrimp po boy out. Great option to switch it up and try out something new. It honestly came out looking like it was from an ad. Everything was so really just good and tasted fresh. Not to mention, the service was really good as well, as always. They have vegetarian options as well so there's a dish for everyone. Definitely this is a must-visit if you're in the city.
google avatar

Yelp
Figured I give it a try. Mmmmm average at best. The two things that stood out on the good side were the White Gummy Bear drinks and the Chesapeake Quesadilla. The Old Bay wings were quite lack luster. I had to ask for extra Old Bay which I had to ask for more than once. The other thing that was bland and dry was the French Dip. The meat was dry as a bone. It was slapped on a dry toasted roll and then two small pieces of Swiss cheese over top, which didn't help the sandwich.

Yelp
Tried iBar takeout for the first time tonight. Was excited to try their famous wings, but a hard time getting through on the phone, so I just went there to order. Got the Buffalo wings, chef style, fried hard, medium heat. Now this was only level 2 out of 7, and I thought it had great heat. The chef style adds garlic and Parmesan and it is a MUST!! That Parmesan sets it off, and was definitely some of the best Buffalo wings I've had!! Also tried the honey BBQ wings, and while delicious, the Buffalo wings were the clear winner! The crab dip was better than I expected, had great flavor, lots of cheese, and noticeable crab! Not quite enough bread to go with the crab dip, but that's pretty common. All in all, would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for the best Buffalo wings in town!

Puja P.

Yelp
Order Wings: Chef style, Hot, Fried hard. Wash it all down with a Natty Boh. The wings are crispy. I like that their wing sauce is actually spicy and that you can customize your spice level. I always ask for extra wing sauce on the side because the amount of sauce on the wings can be inconsistent at times and I like my wings saucy.

Yelp
Been here a few times always a good time! The food is good drinks are good. Chefs wings and shrimp Poy boy

Yelp
Very divey, not in a great part of town, street parking available on the surrounding blocks. Wasn't immediately clear how to place my to-go order and after calling 3 times I gave up trying to place my order on the phone. I ended up just going to the end of the bar and someone there took my order. I did see them on the phone so I'm assuming their phone was working and it was just a really busy night. I got a bucket of mild regular wings with blue cheese and they were pretty darn good for a place outside of Buffalo. Next time I'll try their chef style wings but this time I just wanted the authentic ones. And my wings were ready in like 15 minutes even though the place was packed with people watching the Bills game.

Jess H.

Yelp
Food (farm & Texas burgers) was great everyone was friendly and drinks (fresh squeezed orange crush & whiskey lemonade) were tastey.
google avatar

Apryl D.

Yelp
I was anxious to try the food after the reviews. I was craving some Crunchy Kitchen Fried Wings. The service & workers were excellent. I also got Cheesesteak Egg rolls which were so delicious. However the wings were very disappointing they were not fried hard enough & slimy + they were tough & chewy as if they were fried while frozen. I got the medium Buffalo Wings.
google avatar

Sebastian P.

Yelp
Very cool vibe in the bar area, has a dive bar feel to it. Service was friendly and quick. I got the usual-chef style wings with a cold natty boh draft. As you can see from the picture, it was delicious. Best wings in the area with a close rival second at Kisslings.

David H.

Yelp
Best wings in bmore period !!!! Fried hard , chef style, extra hot wings is the move . Get some hand cut fries too . Heavy pours and it's pretty much the same price since before covid with wings . Been here about 30 times over the years and it's my go to for wings . The rest of the food is typical Bar food , it's good , but nothing wild .

Earle D.

Yelp
I am from Upstate NY and have always been disappointed with the "Buffalo Style" wings in the area. But, when I saw the Buffalo Bills and Sabres logos in the window, I was intrigued. The wings.. traditional, hot, hard fried are the as good as any in Buffalo. Well worth the trip for anyone wanting to know what the wings are like in upstate NY. The service is another story. I don't know if they were short staffed or the bar tender/waiter was not on his job, but I was ignored at the bar for 20 minutes or so. I finally had to ask, how does this work? He complained about how hard he was working and gave me attitude for the rest of the night. It was not a good experience.
google avatar

Kojo B.

Yelp
It's been a minute since I gave an update at Ibar, honestly outside of the chef style wings, the other wing flavors are just not good. Ordered spicy honey bbq, that was not spicy at all. Wings weren't pipping hot more of the lukewarm variety and I picked them up on time. Fries were lukewarm as well, I only ate the Cheesesteak because I was hungry and the meat looked old. It wasn't busy so that is what made it even more baffling. For $25, I may have well flushed my money down the toilet waste.
google avatar

Steve R.

Yelp
Honestly I don't know how this place doesn't rank all 5 stars?? Wings are definitely the Best in Baltimore ( as long as you order Chef style). Everything else I've tried is amazing and the beer is cold and cheap! What more do you want? Yes it's a very small place but everyone is friendly and the staff works to accommodate everyone who comes in. I drive from Harford County here just for the wings

Ian S.

Yelp
If you like real authentic wings I'd recommend chef style, fried hard buffalo hot! Amazing!

Deborah L.

Yelp
Soooo.... I moved away from bmore about 9 years ago. This place used to be my staple and watering hole/baby. Welp I stopped by while in the city for a quick trip and all i can say is "been around the world and i can't find my baby" Its even better than before.. kudos to Becky and hubby... I highly recommend..

Yelp
I came here around 1pm on March 5th. The service was great! I had a hard time choosing food but the bartender and the guy w/ cornrows told me to try the wings and they were spot on! You can tell they eat the food here because they were excited to name off everything on the menu! Crowd is pretty chill too! Very home-town bar-ish.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I got a takeout order form iBar, we have never been before and didn't go in the restaurant. Our order was ready in about 15 minutes- we did have to call several times as their phone didn't seem to have any type of waiting or second line. We got 2 types of wings, the Tex mex egg rolls, and seasoned fries. The first kind of wings we got were the chef style, hot buffalo sauce, and fried hard. Chef style is with Parmesan and garlic. The fried hard made them a bit crisper and the sauce was tasty - tangy from the parm and garlic, and spicy from the buffalo. These were our favorite part of the meal! I will warn, there are 7 levels of heat, this was only level 3, and it was quite spicy! The second kind of wings we got were spicy Thai peanut, we also got them fried hard. These wings were not as crispy as the other set, but the sauce was savory and delish! These were definitely more mild, not very spicy at all, but lots of peanut flavor. The Tex Mex egg rolls specifically say on the website that an order is 3, but this came with 2. They were ok, the inside was a bit of a chicken mush. The outside was crispy and they did come with a tasty dipping sauce. I like egg rolls of any kind, but these were sort of average, not a must get. The seasoned fries had a great flavor but weren't crispy- though this could be because they were takeout. They also were a small portion for what I would've considered a typical side order. Overall, they were very good wings, and the rest of the food was pretty good too! We have heard great things and have been wanting to try iBar for a while, it did not disappoint. We would definitely get it again!

Yelp
I enjoyed eating here. It's a really small place. My friend and I were lucky to get that last seat not at the bar. The staff seems happy enough! Got the gummy bear drink and it tasted strong but good. We decided to take advanced of their wing special but what was supposed to be mild turned out spicy , and what was supposed to be mild was super spicy. I love the potato skins they were well cooked and tasty. The calamari was a let down as the pieces were lukewarm and limp- not at lol crispy as they should be. Some (many) of the drinks were overpriced.
