Food was good in general but some dishes are poorly prepared Had 7 tapas, 1 black rice (main) and churros for the 3 of us and was full. So portion size was okay (3 dish per person on average). Shrimp, calamari, pork ribs (an item on the specials menu), octopus and the black rice was top notch. Rice was a bit too salty for me but the other parties in the table liked it. Chicken however was a bit dry. And the clams (served with chicken) and mussels (its own dish) has sand inside. So I am pretty sure they don’t prep them well instead of being an individual incident. The bell pepper (served with the pork ribs) were also not de-seeded properly and agaiin it affected the texture/taste of the dishes. The mushroom was a bit on the rawer side and not exciting. Serving speed a bit fast but acceptable. Waitress also spilled wine from perrón twice.

Food is so-so, not worthy to pay and eat there when I make better dishes at home than the restaurant. The waitress is not so polite and not smart enough to manage within 10 tables, when we requested to change table for 4, the waitress couldn’t manage and told us no available table after checking the till. But when we saw an available table and ask the waitress if we could sit over there, then she checked the till and said we could change to that table. And a man, seems like manager with European accent, is even more worse. There were 3 people on the table with 1 empty seat, obviously we were waiting for the guest to come for order, but that manager interfered 2-3 times and urged us to order when we were chatting, then I said I want to have a drink menu, a simple sentence but he asked for 3 times to get my message. The second time (or third time ?) he came to us, when we said we need some more time, his facial expression was not happy and asked me again what I was saying. Then I said “we are waiting our guest, the lady, to order, we need some more time, take your time!” He was shocked and told me please calm down, I told him I was very calm and the lady was coming, please come later! Actually there’s no point to urge customers to order food as the tables were not full and more than 75% tables were not occupied. So what’s the point to urge customers to order ? and keep asking the customer to repeat sentence ? could he literally speak and hear English or is there any problem for the staff’s communication ability ? We could have ordered drinks but finally we didn’t because all mood was ruined by the staffs. I will tell my friends for the terrible experience from this restaurant.

We hosted a group of 12 people for a work related dinner here and I have to say that we very, very much enjoyed the evening. We had a 3-course-menu paired with high quality drinks and wine. Especially the starters and tapas were incredibly tasty and good! The service was very friendly and fast. Overall it was a great experience to eat here and we I can highly recommend this place - esp. if you want to host a bigger group. We will definitely come again! 5 stars!

Google
Unpleasant dining experience, high food prices and small portions; poor quality of service from waiters. The first thing I would like to give feedback on is the quality of service. When I paid my bill, I found out that the restaurant would charge 12.5 percent for service. But the quality of service was not worth the price I paid! The service was very slow and indifferent. My friend and I were not given a menu when we were seated and there was no tap water to drink. We waited for a long time (about 10 minutes) before a waiter came and offered us the menus. Secondly, Croquetas tapa was supposed to be served before the main course. I complained to the waiter three times before I got the food I ordered. I was very speechless about this...it was a waste of my time. Finally, let's talk about the food and the portion sizes. The wines were all very good, averaging around £10 per glass, which I think is a very reasonable price. The Seafood Paella for two costs £39.90, but the portions were small... not worth the price at all. Overall, I am very unhappy with the service and food in this restaurant.

Google
I love this place. Great location an incredible venue with nice decoration and lovely atmosphere. Nice presentation in all dishes and great selection if Spanish tapas. This is one of the only places in London where you have the opportunity to try three different hams in the same plate.

Google
I tried different tapas and chicken paella. The food was good. The staff can improve the service: we had to ask for the drinks, the order, the dessert. If you are looking for a quite place, avoid this one. It is very noisy. The bread is very good

Excellent Saturday lunch at Iberica. I really loved the salad with blue cheese and pear, it was such a good flavour pairing. The black rice was rich and delicious. Our server Vesta was so sweet and helped us find dishes that were gluten free. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Coming from LA I’m used to enjoying mocktails so I was very happy that this restaurant served quite literally the best tasting and fresh mocktails I had in London. The sangria was refreshing and crisp even when I was the last person dining before they closed and luckily the fruit inside the sangria was still fresh! Before coming in I was disappointed with another restaurant and although I was unaware they would be closing soon the lovely hostess seated me and I was still able to get some amazing food. Great gluten free options for it being a Spanish tapas restaurant where most of the time they cook with a lot of gluten. The Spanish Octopus truly encapsulated the flavors of Spain. The mix of different spices engrained in the chipotle aioli sauce and the purée of the potato with the fresh crisp octopus was beyond. Manchego cheese and anchovies appetizer was also great although I wish the cheese came with more jam as whatever it was made of (it had hints of apple) was also phenomenal. Friendly staff and also great fun interior design (as I always appreciate a restaurant that has a nice ambiance). Would definitely love to come back and highly recommend for anyone to visit in London.

Yelp
Arrived for our reservation and we're seated. Ordered drinks and food within 10 minutes. Watched plate after plate delivered to other tables whose parties arrived much later than we did. Inquired about our food since we had theatre tickets. Were told 3 minutes. After 10 min we had to leave. Gutted. Update: We received a lovely email confirming that our complaint was true and offering us complimentary meals and drink upon our return. We are leaving London, but we truly appreciate the company getting back to us with a kind offer.

Yelp
I'd pick 3.5 but it's obviously not an option. About 10 people ate a vast amount of food this particular evening. The martinis were good, not overpowering, well created. The famous Juan Pedro Domecq melted in your mouth, was full of flavor and a must try. While the Tiger Prawns were very flavorful, they are a bit messy to eat as you have to peak them with your fingers and they are drenched in butter/oil and seasoning. Other items like the Patatas bravas are all pretty standard. Just remember even the Ribeye is a "tapas" sized serving.

Yelp
This was an interesting location. When we around on the first floor we looked around and had find out where everyone was located. The bartender informed us they were only serving food upstairs. As we made our way up the narrow stairs, the lights and sounds finally hit us. We were greeted and quickly seated. The food was ok, the time of delivery of the different dishes was off. We ordered everything at the beginning but got one dish and everything else at once later. There wasn't much room on the table for the dishes. The food was ok, I was a little disappointed with food. I have had better Tapas before.

Yelp
Great spot, felt like a little piece is Spain. Felt like a chain franchise which held back a 5star for me

Yelp
Went here for seafood paella and was not disappointed! Ordered the seafood paella and the chicken and seafood mix paella about an hour prior to our reservation, as it takes about 45 minutes to prepare. Aside from the paella, also got a glass of red wine sangria (a fruity, housemade delight!) as well as some tapas, including a cauliflower and bok choy dish, tomato and toasty bread/bruschetta, and the rib eye. It was all super delish! The paella came out about 20-30 minutes after we sat down and I have to say I really didn't care for the seafood/chicken mix (with assorted veggies). The seafood paella was super yummy and definitely stole the show! The service was pretty swift and the staff was attentive and very friendly. Would definitely come back here when I'm back in London to check out the other tapas and get a pitcher of the sangria!

Yelp
4.5 stars for this restaurant near the theater district for those wanting something other than pub food. This is several blocks from the touristy areas in London which gives you a break from crowds. Great service and a shady and quiet side street location set the mood for a relaxing meal of tasty tapas and sangria. Many vegetarian options. A bit on the pricier side, but not excessively so.

Yelp
Sometimes... you get to a new town and you find the restaurant magic. We did here at Iberica. We sat outside on a wonderful night and First off Claire was our server and we really loved her suggestions and service. She suggested the Crotecas... their signature tapas and oh my goodness. Ham and cheese never tasted so good. We also tried the Cecina cured meat and it was the best I have ever tasted. We ordered a few more tapas like the twice cooked lamb and the vermouth mussels and that with a bottle of spanish red wine sent us over the edge. It is a wonderful restaurant in the patio and inside.

Yelp
Took a stop at Iberica before heading to Victoria Theatre so the service crowd was not full when we arrived which led to quick service from a great service team. The menu offerings were all excellent which made it very hard to choose from. In the end, went with octopus, grilled lamb chops, trio of Iberica ham, anchovies, toasted bread with tomato. All were 5 stars and I was ready to get back to Lisbon after this experience. Highly recommend Iberica.

Yelp
The Iberica and cheese selection were fabulous. I got 12-24-48 month Iberica and those are so melting till the last bite. The cheese is so well accompanied with the wine. Didn't I mention about the craving dessert and the best ever croquettes Definitely the best Spanish tapas bar in London

Yelp
Great tapa restaurant with a wide variety of choices. The waitress recommended some awesome dishes. Highly recommend and great service.

Yelp
Dinner for 3 with wine ( 2 carafes and a bottle of nice red) was £154. The food is fairly reasonable but got caught out buying the wine which made up half the cost. Pata bravas - pretty bland - avoid Squid with aioli - yummy, a winner Black in rice with prawns - super, definitely get this! Slow cooked lamb- wonderfully flavorful and tender. Def get one for yourself! Ox cheek - it was ok. There are better things to have. Padron Peppers - tasty and worth a nibble. Bread with olive oil - i wish they had some sort of spices in the olive oil as it would have made it that bit tastier. Not worth getting. Ham - was pretty decent and tasty. Worth a go. Nice decor, the bathrooms (if thats your thing) are immaculate and in a Spanish style with fresh hand towels. Unfortunately they have people sat out front smoking and so I don't recommend eating outside. Service charge is included already in the bill. Very good service.

Yelp
Wanting to eat something other than English food, we opted for paella and found ourselves as Iberica. This place is a really nice place to dine at with a high value in dining experience considering all of the little nuances. Not to mention the bathroom was just beautiful. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions about the foods. We ordered a handful of tapas and the chicken paella (Im not a fan of seafood) plus drinks. They didn't have the drink I wanted, but our waiter didn't miss a beat and recommended another that really suited my tastes. The tapas came out first and we enjoyed those slowly. I especially liked the lamb as opposed to some other pieces. The paella came out and man, it was enormous. It took a while to prepare so we were really ready for it when it came. It was my first time eating paella but I can't say I was disappointed. I did enjoy it although it differed from my expectations. I would recommend coming to Iberica. The service is great and the food was delicious. It's on the higher end of dining without being formal, but it was quite a meal worth having. Plus, there's wifi and it's rather quiet inside.

Yelp
I've literally spent thousands of £ here. I make a point of coming every time I'm in London. Food is fresh, taste and different. Staff are always helpful, non-pretentious and friendly. Just come here. They do do something I didn't like.... added a £ to my bill for charity. I'm a generous guy just object to being it forced on me.

Yelp
I came here with a group of work friends as we're not too far away. We were pleasantly greeted before being escorted up to the main dining room on the first floor. In fact all throughout, the staff were extremely pleasant, which made the visit all the more delightful. We were recommended a cocktail, which they made virgin for us - it was a berry cavarinha and was really delicious. We ordered various plates of tapas, although didn't share much due one of my colleagues had a nut allergy. In fact the waitress was particularly helpful with regards to this as she went to the kitchen and found out which of the dishes would have been a problem and which wouldn't, leading to my friend being able to happily eat with confidence. I had the croquetas, which came in a portion of six and were lightly fried but still soft inside like little pillows of ham and potato joy. But the thing I have to recommend strongly is the chorizo lollypops - it's rounds of chrorizo on a stick as you might expect - but what I didn't expect was that they'd come in a light batter. Really delicious! My friends also recommended the mackerel dish but didn't think much of the hake.

Yelp
Loved loved loved our experience and meal at Iberica. It was the best tapas, jamon platter and seafood paella (all in one restaurant!) we have had since our trip to Madrid many many moons ago. We ordered the crispy aubergine which were fried to a delicate crisp, the chorizo poppers which everyone fought over, and shishito peppers which had just the right mix of burn-your-tongue hot and mild peppers mixed together. The restaurant vibe was lively and upbeat, the servers were kind, attentive and so very helpful with our daughter's nut and dairy allergies. We arrived for a late dinner (jetlagged and on Phoenix time); we could not have appreciated more the small details of perfectly marinated olives and sweet smiles for our three over-tired kiddos. Next time we're back in town, we hope to ditch the kids and come enjoy ourselves with friends!

Yelp
Visiting London from afar, we were staying at the St. Ermin's and needed a place close by that could accommodate 5 people, including kids, with a range of picky and adventurous eaters, on short notice for our first night in town. Iberica fit the bill and was delicious. Miguel, our waiter, was excellent at helping us navigate the menu and decide how much to order and how to time our order. The food was of high quality, inventive but also includes classic tapas fare so we were able to mix it up. We had great cocktails and my husband even ordered a smoke gun to try to recreate their smokey old fashioned at home. The environment was hip but comfortable. This is a tapas place, and was the first my kids had been to- they were in love, and we actually ended up trying a variety of tapas restaurants during our stay because it went so well. Iberica was the hands-down favorite, they talked about it all week and as a treat we went back on our last night in town. Only reason for four stars was our second waiter was not as good at helping us order, we were stuffed with a few plates left to arrive, but honestly - just go. Under-order if you must, you can add if you're still hungry. Figure on 2-3 plates per adult, 1-2 per kid depending on age, and you'll have room for one of their creative desserts. I think a lot of people ding them in these reviews for price, but tapas are by nature a bit more expensive and the plates are small. This one was worth the splurge.

Yelp
This is a jewel. Very good food and very good service. Wine list small but good wines. Had the Jamon platter. Extremely tasty and went well with croquettes. The potato omelet was exceptional. Great decor and service. Cannot say enough.

Yelp
I got a recommendation from a friend to try this restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant was fantastic. We had the best waitress named Moira. She had a fantastic personality and made a lot of great recommendations for us. The drinks were very tasty and the service was impeccable. We had the aged ham, croquettes, paella, and chocolate churros. The highlight for me was the knowledge that our waitress brought. Would definitely go again.

Yelp
A great place for very nice tapas. Both the traditional and modern tapas were excellent, and the wine list has a wonderful selection of Spanish wines. Our server, John, was super friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't really want to leave a review, since I don't want it to become crowded, but it's too good to not rave! The tapas are excellent, the service is excellent and the space is comfortable and modern. I couldn't believe it wasn't packed at 8pm on a Saturday, it should be!!!
google avatar

Lindsey V.

Yelp
The portions are small, the wine is great, the staff was very professional, and we enjoyed trying different and new food! Great outdoor seating in the summer time. Beautiful restaurant inside!
google avatar

Holly W.

Yelp
Probably my favourite place to go for a glass of wine and a snack in Victoria. Doesn't feel like the chain brand that you can have in other places such as las iguanas etc, it feels like a trendy bar in the centre of Barcelona. The Wine selection is impressive, as well as the authentic Spanish hams, cheeses and bar food. Can't recommend this place more, a true gem to go for a couple of drinks after work.
google avatar

Em K.

Yelp
Joan was hands down the best server we have had in London- very attentive and super helpful. Joan helped us decide on best options and gave us excellent guidance for a perfect meal and Spanish experience. We will be back!
google avatar

Pamela S.

Yelp
The place is nicely decorated inside - it is rather posh. The people working there are really nice and want to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I had a cocktail with gin and crushed strawberry's and it was yummy. I think I would rate this place between a 3 and 4 mostly because I personally didn't like all the food we ordered. We ordered so many tapas to share such as little hamburgers, cheese platter, ham platter, prawns, potatoes bravas. There were so many I cannot remember! The ones that were good were reaaaallly good. And the ones I didn't like much seemed to be more of a personal taste as everyone else seemed to enjoy them. Make sure to go to this place with a group a people so you can try many tapas!

Yelp
Worst experience in London. Food was three stars and service was 1 at best. 1. Over-salted food. Informed server, was told they would "talk to chef", and never got feedback. Fully charged and paid of course. 2. Food got dropped on the floor and this was not appropriately acted on. 3. Ordered paella, was told it would take 40 min., then ordered tapas, obviously wishing for these to come before. Paella "from scratch" came 10 min after order was placed. Came undercooked. Tapas came after. Unbelievable waste of time. Never again.

Nina And Tom G.

Yelp
Iberica was underwhelming. The wine list was unimaginative especially for the prices. We had croquettes, twice cooked lamb, cantabric tuna salad, and spring vegetables. It was good but not great. Felt expensive. Service was okay, we weren't happy with the wine that was recommended. We asked for an interesting wine but we were given an ordinary fruity wine that we didn't enjoy very much.

Yelp
This place is easy to miss--it's down a side street, and looked empty from outside at 9:30pm on a Sunday. We would have thought it was closed, but tried the door anyway since we had made a reservation through OpenTable. Someone appeared to greet us and led us upstairs, where there were plenty of other people, though it wasn't packed. This place has a really excellent atmosphere. I loved the music (not too loud), the ambiance (lively but not obnoxious) and found the servers charming as hell (everyone I interacted with seemed Spanish). The food was exquisite. Get the "asparagus, manchego, onion confit & true oil toast" and the "toasted bread with tomato"--it may not sound like anything special, but these were clearly freshly crushed tomatoes with the most wonderful, delicate flavor. Really awesome sangria too, freshly made and served with pride. Also: no stupid TVs!! \o/ Will probably go back before leaving London!

Yelp
Came here for late dinner on Wed night after running around London, place was not busy. Was greeted by the hostess immediately and was seated. It's when we sat down when service was lacking. We had to ask for the menu, asked for water, no idea who our waiter would be...we started with a gentleman letting us know the spacing of food, then left. We summoned a lady who we thought was the waitress -- took our order then left. The manager then poured our water, then left. Our first few tapas came in and finished. Our seafood paella came and was served by another waitress who acted like she didn't want to be there. Never made eye contact and served the paella. We had asked for an extra bowl to put our discarded shells, she plopped it down and covered the paella pan with a napkin. Turned around and never to be seen again. We had flagged someone to bring us a refill, and still no eye contact from the waitress. She came around with our bill after we had signaled that we were finished. The only time we heard her speak is when we handed her 2 credit cards to split the bill. She wanted to determine which card belonged to whom. As I was signing the paper, I adamantly told her to put the receipt down as I was not finished settling the bill. She ranted about I didn't need to put a total since the bill included the gratuity... she was so pressed to educate us that we could care less what she said. Food is 2.5 out of 5. Service -1 out of 5.

Yelp
I absolutely love tapas and had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately I thought the tapas massively lacked flavour and in some cases were oily and disappointing. If a Spanish restaurant can't make a good tomato bruschetta you really have to wonder and this was forgettable at best. The best thing we had was the asparagus on toast which is the reason for the 2 stars vs. 1.
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful place to get tapas. The flavours of each dish were absolutely phenomenal. My only complaint would be, there was a thunderstorm going on outside, so the staff turned up the volume of the music to overpower the noise. It was way too loud. Other than that, the staff were lovely and the food was devine.

Julie C.

Yelp
I was visiting and wanted to try different food in London. Found this one and made appointment. The food is OK but the service was awful. They are supposed to divide the food into plates but turns out that my husband did it finally. I was surprised to see they charge a service fee on the bill even though they did't provide any service beyond cooking the food, and they are expecting extra gravity. I can see the guy who check out my bill show a disappointed face after he see no gravity. My friend in UK told me I only need to pay what I see on the menu, and no need to give gravity unless you think they did a great job. Well, with this service no one would give gravity.

Yelp
We had a lovely time here. The space upstairs is large and the tables are well spread out. We ordered a range of traditional favourites and some new things, most of which were scrummy, although the chorizo lollipops really were just batter and hunks of chewy chorizo that wasn't a pleasure. We would definitely come here again for a friends' evening out.

Yelp
This place is a home run. Walked up and looked empty until they took me upstairs. Every thing was delicious. Gazpacho was unique and over the top. Don't hesitate. Plus the service was exceptional!

Lydia K.

Yelp
Great restaurant, very warm and friendly customer service. Authentic Spanish food, super tasty and the atmosphere is heart filling. I would highly recommend it!

Tony V.

Yelp
I just dined at Iberia tonight and had a rather unpleasant experience. The restaurant itself was decorated very well and I really appreciate the attention to detail. My complaints surround the service, first my white wine was rather warm and when I asked for my second glass to be colder it came out the same temperature. We also ordered bread and was told it cannot be brought out immediately because it was being baked, when the bread arrived it was cold so obviously it was not freshly baked. I also had to ask for the bill three separate times and it was not until I walked up to the cash till at the bar was when I was given the bill. I also didn't appreciate that the service charge was built into the bill despite service was lacking. The restaurant was half full so being busy was not an excuse. It seemed some of the staff were arguing about something and the other half was not communicating. The food and service did not match the ambience unfortunately. I will not be returning since there are so many other options in London.

Lisa R.

Yelp
Excellent tapas! BUT...you have time order the chicken paella. It's fantastic. Definitely come here if you are in the area. Totally worth the wait.

David S.

Yelp
Super place and not far from Westminster. Excellent decor and huge selection of wines at reasonable price for London standards. We stuck with the simple tapas and they came quick and were delicious. We had 3 separate waitresses looking after us, who kept the wine and water flowing. Tables are a good size for the tapas and look out for the old doors used as the walls for the staircase. Order a cocktail especially the sangria which had 10 elements in it...still not sure what they all were-fascinating to watch. Very quick meal but you can slow it down via a cocktail or 2

Paloma F.

Yelp
Wonderful food and very authentically Spanish food.very cozy restaurant. The best croquetas in London, almost like my grandmas. From a spaniard this restaurant feels like home.

Jerry K.

Yelp
Popular with locals, active & busy. Typical Spanish tapas on the menu. The couple of items we had were tasty, but small servings - as expected for tapas. I'd definitely return here to sample more of the menu. Very lively & lots of younger folk patronize the place. Do believe it's worth a try!

Kevin L.

Yelp
I think that the 5 star reviews are all fake. More than 1/2 of the menu is fried. The paella is so so and I can make better at home. Skip this place whenever possible.
