Iberostar Selection Playa de Palma

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The entire team is incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed the heated pool and the stunning rooftop, the views are amazing. While the spa is on the smaller side, it is very well-equipped and has everything you need for a relaxing time. A special shout-out to the masseuse, who was a perfect 10/10! Huge thanks to Lilia and her team for making our holiday so special. We will definitely be back!

I previously stayed here in 2017. It was lovely to return and see the progress the hotel has made. The manager Lilia is lovely, a special shout out to Esteban in the main restaurant also who was always friendly, chatty and helpful. A good range of choices for food were available for dinner each night. I enjoyed the view from the room, over looking the pool and the sea. As it’s out of season a few of the bars eg sunset bar is not open but the purple bar that overlooks the bar is open and a nice setting. I would like to return again and experience the sunset bar.

Very nice luxury stay over the Christmas period at this hotel as a family with two children. Breakfast and dinner was very high quality, including the 'Christmas Gala' seafood buffet with lobster on Christmas Eve which was very special. Activities arranged by Yulia were excellent, including yoga, pilates, stretching and other craft activities and movie night too. It's great to do these with the children especially as many other places are closed over the Christmas period.

Rather disappointing for a 5 star hotel. There are much better options to choose from nearby. To charge an extra fee of 19€ per person if you would like to use the very poor sauna area is ridiculous. We haven‘t heard before that there are two classes if guests. To book a junior suite is not good enough to use all the facilities the hotel offers. You are still a second class guest. They are placing the star premium guests in a seperated glass box inside the restaurant which feels very strange. The restaurant is very noisy maybe vecause of the low ceilings. We felt like beeing in a celler. A charge of 25€/night for using the garage is quite ambitious. The private pool is cold and with no use in November. Other 5 star hotels offer for the same price a heated jacuzzi. We will choose another option when next time around.

Overall a great hotel, well located right on the beach. We had a fantastic suite with lovely sea and pool views and everything is kept very clean. The swimming pool is kept at a comfortable temperature and the sun loungers are really comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and Palma is just a short bus/taxi ride away. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Buffet style restaurant serving a good selection of food, just a bit busy at times. Our stay here was really good especially with the great weather that we weren't expecting in November.

The weather was not very good in early January, but thanks to the kind and welcoming staff, delicious meals, beautiful views, and clean, comfortable accommodations, we truly enjoyed our time at the hotel. We would like to sincerely thank all the staff for their warm hospitality and care. We hope to visit again when the weather is better. We are also very grateful for the lovely souvenir dolls given to our children at check-out.

The hotel was really nice. Esspecialy the service. We ate breakfast and dinner and pablo was realy nice. All of the poeple were really helpful and positive. They made my day and changed the expirience in the hotel. Big thank you. I would really recomend

Guest Service Manager Lili whom welcomed us with her excellent professional friendly manor when my friend Jane and myself Caroline introduced ourselves to her at breakfast the first morning of our holiday and everyday. Lili is truly a lovely warming lady nothing is too much to ask of her. The hotel is exceptional, food is delicious and we looking to return here or any of the sister hotels. thank you Lili for making our day!

I felt like I just had a first class experience. Definitely one of their premier properties compared to the other Iberostars also in the neighborhood! So many windows and great natural lighting even in the gym. I immediately relaxed upon entry as the front desk serves champagne or infused waters. The room is so spacious with an open bath, private rain shower and double vanity. The balcony has a solid door to block out sound as I imagine in high season the parties on the on the beach could be loud. You don't hear any hallway noise or slamming hall doors which is very common in hotels. One hour per day you can book the Spa Sensation room for free. It has steam sauna, jacuzzi, dry sauna, a thermal shower with 13, yes 13 shower heads, and a stall with an oak bucket up high with a chain. Pull the chain for an immediate ice bath! (You need to shower first before entering, look to your back once you enter the dressing rooms as they are easy to miss) The best part is the breakfast buffet which is bigger than even ones I've enjoyed on a cruise ship. Most importantly the quality is top notch. For example, they have a jam bar, natural honeycomb, bread bar, yogurt bar with an assortment of seed toppings, full tea pot service, caviar, small pancake station, cereal station, omelet station, cheese and meats, salad area, fresh squeezed juices, cut fruit selections, whole fruits for take away, and so much more. It really was top class. Rooms come with robes and slippers which you will need for the daily jacuzzi appointment which you need to make ideally one day before. Towels and linens are all high thread count. most staff speak German and English though an attempt at some Spanish also seems to garner a smile.
