The hotel was very clean, room comfortable, staff friendly, good central location and private car park, however, the hotel took an additional €100 deposit from my account after I’d paid in full for the room, and did NOT tell us. I only noticed later that day and when we checked I asked for the refund to which it was agreed. I still have NOT had that money back and that was 9 days ago and counting. €100 is a lot of money to be taken out of your account when you are on holiday. If I’d have known I may have used a different payment method but we were not informed and I think that is appalling, especially since we are still waiting for a refund. So, please take this as a word of warning and be prepared.

Had very low expectations because of all the bad reviews. However it's not that bad or I was lucky.|The room was small (but it's normal for an Ibis) but fortunately there was no street noise or serious malfunctions. The room wasn't too hot although it was +30 degrees outside. The bed was comfortable.|Can't comment on breakfast.|It was a bit odd but nobody on the front desk spoke any English. I know I'm in France but this is an international chain hotel in a touristic city (Poitiers is very nice and underrated, by the way).|One more thing - my stay cost me 25 EUR. If the price was 2-3 times higher, perhaps I would be more picky.

Depends on the price. I have booked a stay for a very little amount of money, therefore my stay was very good. Location right in the centre, quiet street, good mattress. However if I stayed for their normal price (above 70-80 EUR), that would have been different. The aircon was very old. All the towels had holes. The shower sink also had a hole, so all the water leaked directly onto the bathroom floor (room 208). I guess that there need to be a refurbishment as soon as possible.

This hotel has a great location but the premises are far below IBIS standards and should be immediately demoted to the "Budget" range. The rooms are tiny, well under the typical IBIS size, and the bathroom is minuscule, like in a caravan. The common areas are in urgent need of renovation. The air conditioning does not work in many of the rooms and the management knows it, but they keep putting guests in them - unacceptable in August. Thankfully, the staff are really nice and will try to move you around to a free room if you complain politely... It's not their fault. The third floor should NOT be used in summer. The car park only has capacity for a dozen cars so they shouldn't advertise it as an amenity. However, the adjacent public car park has really reasonable overnight rates. Good and well replenish breakfast, but the dining room is very small and you should definitively avoid the peak time 8:00 - 9:00. All things considered, the price is correct for what you get, but it should NOT be advertised as a full-grown IBIS with parking and AC etc.

Location is good and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was well below Ibis Standards, was so small, bathroom had no room to turn around really and shower went hot and cold constantly. Beds were overly small for a single and as an adult you couldn’t roll over without falling off. Place is cheap and the experience certainly felt very cheap. Breakfast was mediocre. Wouldn’t return unfortunately.

Unfortunately the shower was rusty and looked tried. Toilet very squashed in corner . Bathroom door didn't shut properly. Under the mattress topper was badly stained. Pillows very small and lumpy, only 2 Net curtains was ripped with a hole Couldn't work tv WiFi code wrong information in guest book in room . Unfortunately rain heavily for our stay . There was a bucket next to lift collecting dripping water But the staff plaisante enough.

You must book parking in advance or they will stop you from entering the car park. Rooms were small , bathroom tiny. All clean. Right in the centre, restaurants, coffee, pharmacy and small supermarkets.
